Today's update will go over things I haven't done in the Pokemon series or things I don't own that Pokemon has put out over the years. This is just a fun update for now as Scarlet & Violet come out this week. I'm post two updates today! One update of things I HAVENT done in the Pokemon series as well as thing I HAVE done.

So sit back and relax and today's update really is more of a get to know me type thing.

1. I HAVENT Successfully Shiny Hunted a Pokemon

I HAVE successfully captured Shiny Pokemon before due to running into one by chance but I've never successfully captured one by going about a Shiny Hunting method. I have Shiny Hunted, and dumped easily 30+ hours into Shiny Hunting, but never came out successful in any hunts cause trust me, I actively Shiny Hunted Zigzagoon, Rookidee & Litten in Sword & Shield as well as Hisuian Zorua in Legends Arceus but no luck which SUCKS!!!

2. I HAVENT Played Pokemon Stadium

Yup, I've never played Pokemon Stadium despite it being a cult classic. I've never owned a Nintendo 64, therefore I've never been able to play the game. Even though it's been ported to the Nintendo Switch, I still have no intention of playing this game.

3. I've Never Battled Online/Competitively

Yup, I've never battled online in any Pokemon game and have no intention on doing so. I don't like to play Pokemon games online unless it's a Pokemon Trade OR a Max Raid Den in Sword & Shield. Therefore you will not catch me going out of my way to battle some random guy on the internet. That's not to say I'm against Competitive Battling or Battling Online, it's just that there's players around the globe that can go REALLY overboard when it comes to Battling. Even after fighting my friends in game just for the heck of it, I've learned that Live Battling is oftentimes more of a headache and not that enjoyable due to time restrictions but also you have no idea what dirty tricks they may or may not have behind their backs. Therefore I prefer Battling in game NPCs.

4. I've Never Owned a Pokemon Themed Console

Pokemon is no stranger to marketing deals and one of their biggest marketing successes comes from making deals with Nintendo and selling Nintendo Consoles that are Themed/Decorated to whatever Pokemon games that's releasing such as the Eevee & Pikachu Nintendo Switch Joycons that released with Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee, the Pikachu 3DS or the JUST released Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Switch that i was HEAVILY tempted into buying. Instead, I decided that I wanted the Splatoon 3 Switch OLED instead. I've never actually owned a Pokemon Themed console despite how badly I want one! The one Pokemon Themed console that I never owned AND heavily regret never owning would be the Pokemon X & Y 3DS XL. I'm literally not about to pay $200 to get an obsolete console either😅

5. I HAVEN'T Named a Pet after a Pokemon

ALOT of people nowadays name their pets, specifically their dog or cat, after Pokemon. Surprisingly, I have yet to name a pet after a Pokemon and as of yet don't have any plan to do so. I am guilty of naming my pets after fictional characters though! I've named numerous pets of mine after One Piece characters such as Law, Eneru & Rayleigh. A dog after Zero of The Nightmare Before Christmas. A dog after Momo of Avatar the Last Airbender. A Cat after Ballora of FNAF and lastly a Lizard after Nishio of Tokyo Ghoul. Still though, none of my pets are named after a Pokemon and I myself am surprised at such. Which says a lot since I've already planned out what to name my future bird after😅

6. I HAVENT Crushed on Any Characters

I won't deny, some Pokemon characters look hot such as Adaman, Sada and Leon but I've yet to develop an actual crush on any Pokemon characters which once again, REALLY surprises me! Then again, I don't tend to crush on fictional characters but when I do, yeah well good luck getting me to stop.

7. I HAVENT Played Pokemon Red or Blue

I haven't officially played either of them to the fullest. My cousins owned both Red & Blue on the Gameboy before giving them to me and I wasn't having fun with them. At the time I couldn't read, and furthermore wasnt even into Pokemon either at the time. Unlike games nowadays, the Pokemon didn't have their own sprites. I couldn't tell which Pokemon were which due to them all having one of the same five different sprites on top of how bad the game looked. The REALLY early Gameboy games were a mess and Pokemon was no exception. Therefore, I BARELY played Red & Blue and have no intention of picking them back up again either even 15+ Years later.

8. I HAVENT Used Every Starter Pokemon

For the most part, I've replayed most of the Pokemon games enough times that I've picked out all 3 Starter Pokemon at one point or another. However, there's a VERY select few Starter Pokemon I haven't actively used yet. Those select few would include Chespin, Rowlet & Grokey. Chespin & Rowlet because I've never liked X & Y or Sun & Moon enough to play them a third time. And Grokey because I just don't like it which says a lot because I've replayed Sword & Shield 4 times since it's release and chose Sobbel 3 out of 4 of those playthroughs.

9. I HAVENT Bullied Anyone For Their Preferences

You might be thinking that this category is cheating, and it is a little bit, but I can proudly say I've never bullied anyone for their Pokemon Preferences. Some people just aren't aware of if they bully or judge someone else. Such as ALOT of people throwing shade at other fans for liking certain Pokemon. Specifically if a fan likes a Charizard because many claim its overrated, a fan liking Gardevoir or Lopunny because they're oversexualized or liking Sylveon due to how its a Pokemon made specifically for the LGBTQ. There's also fans who will bully competitive battlers due to how they choose Pokemon they like vs. Pokemon that do well in battles. The sheer amount of fans that trash newer generations for not being creative/those who claim Gen 1 is the only good set of games. There are ALOT of bullies in the community and it needs to stop. Like I GENUINELY like Gardevoir as a Pokemon because it's such a great Pokemon in battle and I get so much backlash from the community for it. There's nothing wrong with liking a Pokemon just to like a Pokémon and we shouldn't bully because of it.

10. I HAVENT Visited a Pokemon Center or Nintendo Store

I REALLY want to someday visit a Nintendo Store or Pokemon Center. The sheer size and detail of the Pokemon statues in their stores. The sheer selection of their merchandise. These two places seem like a fantasy that I'd love to one day visit. But for now, I haven't visited either.
