I think this update is self explanatory lol. Today's update will go over Pokemon that I feel NEED a regional form. Either it's a Pokemon that scream potential for a regional variant or someone made a fanmade regional variant that is just perfect in every way. Of course I'm featuring fan arts AND ideas of my own. Hope you guys have fun with this update!

I uploaded a day early just for you guys since I know school kicks back in tomorrow for a great deal of people.

Bulbasaur

Out of all the starter Pokemon out there, Bulbasaur has received the most fan made alternate forms and the most popular of them all HAS to be Pumpkin Bulbasaur. Pumpkin/Halloween Bulbasaur has yellow eyes, grey skin and a pumpkin on its back (Or a jack o’ lantern). Pumpkin Bulbasaur is creative, adorable and a must have for Pokemon fans everywhere and I think it’d make sense if Bulbasaur had forms for different plants like roses and more! This form doesn’t have to be canon! I think myself and many fans out there would be perfectly happy if Pumpkin Bulbasaur was an event/giveaway Pokemon much like Ash-Greninja and the anniversary celebration where a bunch of different Pikachu were wearing Ash’s hats during his many adventures.

Vanillite

Vanillite is much like the name suggests, the entire line of Pokemon are vanilla ice cream cones. Yeah, it’s not the most creative and many fans view this line of Pokemon to be Nintendo’s least creative and one of the most disliked Pokemon in existence. I firmly feel that the Vanillite family can be saved and is SCREAMING for a makeover! Much like how a Vivillon has 20+ forms, so can the Vanillite family! Instead of JUST vanilla, how about other ice cream flavors? Vanillite’s type can also change based on its flavor too! Mint or Mint Chocolate chip can be grass type because mint is a plant OR it can remain an ice type because mint has a ‘cooling’ effect. Rocky Road ice cream would be rock type, cherry/strawberry would be fairy, Death By Chocolate could be ghost OR Dark type. OR We can even avoid type changes altogether and just stick with giving the Vanillite line the Alcremie treatment by just simply redecorating Vanillite to be a different flavored ice cream. This would breathe new life into the VERY disliked Vanillite family by giving players the joy of collecting all of the different Vanillite forms AND much like how you had some control in which form Alcremie could take on, you can do the same to Vanillite. Like you can go to an in-game Ice Cream shop or Cafe, much like in Sword & Shield, fight the owners and they’ll give you an ingredient to give to your Vanillite and it’d change forms!

Tropius

Everyone knows that Tropius is our resident tropical Pokemon, but what if Tropius lived in a different climate? I find it really weird that Deerling and Sawsbuck are our only Pokemon of whom change their appearance with the season. With the new inclusion of regional forms, some Pokemon have received new forms based on the climate they live in such as Sandslash, Sandshrew, Darumaka, Darmanitan, Vulpix and Ninetails receiving new icy Forms and typing due to them living within snowy climates. Exeggutor, Raichu and Dugtrio taking on new forms suitable for hot tropical climates and lastly Grimer, Muk, Weezing and Corsola taking on new forms due to the amount of pollution in their environment. Tropius is just SCREAMING for some sort of regional or seasonal form.
In the winter, Tropius’ palm tree leaves would be traded in for pine trees and the banana fruit hanging off of it’s chin would be swapped for pinecones! During this time, Tropius would be an Ice/Grass type.
In the spring, Tropius’ leaves would be swapped for cherry blossom petals (Overgrown so that it’d act as clothes or working wings of course!) and the fruit on Tropius’ chin would rightfully be cherries! During this time, Tropius would be a Fairy/Grass type.
In the summer, Tropius would retain it’s tropical original look that we all know.
In the fall, Tropius would swap out it’s previous season’s leaves for Maple Leaves and the fruit on it’s chin would be apples or acorns.

Rowlet Family

Although I personally am not a fan of the Rowlet Family, especially its regional form in Legends Arceus, I won't deny that an American inspired/Unovan Regional form designed by PragMagik on YouTube feels very possible coming from the Pokemon Company and one I'd love to see. PragMagik had done his research when designing a regional form for the Rowlet Line inspired by Native Americans from his color choices to design aspects. With Red in Native American culture meaning many things such as war, death or success and often times used in their face paint. The feather head piece on Decidueye in particular meant to signify strength and bravery & only worn by the strongest most influential members of the tribe. Even PragMagik's choice in using the Rowlet Line to represent Native Americans was a wise & perfect choice on his end as Owls in Native culture represent death & afterlife, often seen as reincarnated souls/guides to the afterlife. This makes perfect sense given Decidueye IS a ghost type afterall. So I cannot think of a more perfect regional form for the Rowlet Family than this AND I want this to be real so bad!!!

Unfezant Family

The Unfezant Family is just as their name suggests, they're pheasants/birds in the Phasianidae family of which include the Chicken, Turkey, Peacock/peafowl, Quails and many more. What if the Unfezant Family got a regional form inspired by a bird in the Phasianidae family? I hope we're all thinking the same thing here! Peacocks!!! I know peacocks are Native to India/Asia so it only makes sense we maybe could eventually get a regional form for Unfezant inspired by Peacocks due to how half of the existing Pokemon regions are inspired by Japan and other Asian countries. Unfezant is a Pokemon with a great gender difference that is accurate for birds in the Phasianidae family, being that Males are often colorful in coloration with larger body parts such as male chickens have a headpiece or male peacocks with large colorful tails while Females are often dull or monochrome in coloration, often lacking 'attractive' features that males tend to show off when searching for a mate. A Peacock inspired Unfezant Family could feature the males having losing their Unovan headpiece and trading it out for a large vibrant Peacock tail while the females could remain the same looking as their Unovan counterparts. Before you say 'the females could turn white' no, no they cannot. It is a false assumption/rumor that female peacocks are white. White Peacocks are rare, ONLY male and can only happen when bred in captivity BUT a white Unfezant could be an idea for a shiny form!

Spritzee Family

We all saw where I was coming with this one! The Spritzee Family was announced and advertised as a Plague Doctor inspired Pokemon and we all got our hopes up! Until we saw the actual end result and we're all disappointed. Plague Doctors are black and their bird like masks made you feel uneasy. Their existence came to be during the age of the Black Plague in Europe, they were responsible for tracking the number of deaths to the Plague as well as to remedy the Plague through horrible methods such as leeches and bloodletting. So when we saw two pink bird Pokemon with faces similar to Plague Doctor masks, we ALL rejected the duo of Pokemon. Thankfully, many artists have redesigned/gave Spritzee & Aromatisse their own versions of a regional form that gives Plague Doctors justice AND I love them! They're all similar, giving Spritzee a color swap from pink to black or deep purple, but it changes the whole impression of the Pokemon entirely and I WANT these redesigns!!!

Arcanine Family

This one will be to the point, I promise! Back when the Sword & Shield DLCs were announced for Isle of Armor & Crown Tundra, there was a leak of Galarian Growlthe & Arcanine sporting a new Ice typing and redesign where their furr was light blue. I genuinely thought this leak was real, even going so far as to buy the DLCs and realizing the hard way that it wasn't. The leak was so real and I had my heart set on capturing Galarian Arcanine!!! Thing is, Ice Type Arcanine is VERY possible coming from the Pokemon Company especially since most of their regional forms so far became ice type such as Darumaka, Vulpix & Sandshrew to name a few. Who else wants a ice type regional variant of Arcanine & Growlithe?

Shroomish Family

Shroomish is honestly an underrated Pokemon and I'm down to earth surprised it has yet to recieve a regional form considering the endless possibilities it has. I mean, there's more than 50 types of mushrooms in existence. Shroomish could receive a regional form to make it red with white spots, make it black, make it glow in the dark/bioluminesent like the mushrooms in the Glimwood Tangle in Sword & Shield. We need SOMETHING!!!

Yamask

This one is a given lol. The Pokemon with the most fan made regional forms/redesigns is Yamask due to the sheer amount of potential it has! Me personally, I want a Yamask regional form inspired by Mexican culture. Of all the countries out there, I want a Yamask inspired by Mexico? Yes!!! We already have a Yamask inspired by Scotland & Egypt. I think a Yamask inspired by Mexico, more specifically by Dia De Los Muertos aka The Day of the Dead, would be perfect! In Mexican Culture, on Day of the Dead, Mexican citizens often wore festive skull masks. These masks, or skulls in general, on this holiday represents a departed loved one. Sugar Skulls on Ofrendas(Memorials for departed family members decorated with their photos, marigold petals & their favorite foods & items) often had the name of the departed on them. Therefore, a Yamask carrying a Day of the Dead mask not only makes so much sense but considering that a Yamask IS a reincarnated soul that carries a mask that looks like what they did back when they were living, would give a new more meaningful meaning to the Pokemon. Imagine if there's a Mexico inspired Pokemon region, people would put out Dia De Los Muertos masks and departed loved ones reincarnated as a Yamask would pick up the masks. It'd be as if they never left their family!!!

Gallade & Gardevoir

Our last Pokemon on the list will be the Gallade/Gardevoir line. This is because through leaks of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, this line of Pokemon is confirmed to be either recieving a Regional form OR a third branched evolution. The fanbase seems certain that IF this line takes on a new regional form in Scarlet & Violet, it'd take inspiration from Flamenco dancers given this region is inspired by Spain. Honestly, I don't think the fanbase is too far off on this one since it IS confirmed there is a Flamenco Dancer Pokemon in the new games.
