Redoing Pokemon Teams

There's some Pokemon Trainers out there with questionable Pokemon Teams. Sometimes you look straight at them and think 'Yeah, I can imagine they'd have THIS Pokemon on their team' only to jump into the battle and their team just doesn't make sense or was strangely lackluster.

Here are three Pokemon Trainers where I gave them more deserving & Appropriate Pokemon teams.

1. Penny

Penny's team in Scarlet & Violet was made up of entirely Eeveelutions which HORRIBLY ticked me off and made her fight lackluster as I knew exactly which Pokemon she was gonna throw out next. The game thankfully explained why Penny had an entirely Eevee team, by saying that she likes Eevees, but Pokemon literally gives us an Eeveelution trainer every game and I'm not standing for it any longer. Considering she was the leader of Team Star, I was hoping she'd have a bigger more intimidating team of some sort. Heck, the entire fanbase thought Penny was gonna have a Plusle, Minun or Magnezone on her team due to her color and clothing choices and Pokemon MESSED UP in not doing so.

Penny's original team includes: Umbreon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Sylveon & Leafeon

So here's what I think Penny's new team should be:

-Umbreon: Dark
Because it's her Ace on her actual team. Penny can have at least one Eeveelution on her team since she very clearly loves Eevee.
-Magnezone: Steel Electric
Because of the + & - on her leggings as well as red & Blue color scheme in her hair and clothes. Penny is associated with technology and it feels weird knowing Penny doesn't have a single electric type on her actual team.
-Porygon 2: Normal
Because she's a tech wizard and the Porygon Family are cybernetic code Pokemon. I can see Penny with a Porygon 2 specifically since it's better than Porygon BUT not corrupt like Porygon Z as Penny is a VERY gifted hacker & not known for mistakes.
-Orbeetle: Psychic/Bug
Because she's from Galar and needs a Galar Pokemon. Orbeetle happens to be high tech as well. Penny also reminds me of Futaba from Persona 5. Futaba's persona is a UFO and Orbeetle happens to be a UFO.
-Mimickyu: Fairy/Ghost
Because Penny was the leader of Team Star in disguise. Also, Penny longs for friendship, something that Mimickyu also wants hence why it wears a Pikachu costume in hopes it gets it more attention. Plus, Penny 100% loves plushies and cute things something Mimickyu definitely fits the bill
-Cleffable: Fairy
This is due to how Penny's code name of Cassiopiea is the name of a star constellation. Cleffable is canonically a Pokemon from space and associated with the moon. When you do the final face off against Penny, she requests it's done at night.

2. Adaman

Please tell me I'm not the only one who was upset with Adaman's Team in Legends Arceus? Just like Penny, his team is entirely Eeveelutions and it makes no sense considering Adaman is the leader of an entire Clan as well as the guardian for Dialga the God of Time. With a Team of Eeveelutions, no wonder why you never could defeat Dialga in battle...

Adaman's original Team Includes: Leafeon, Umbreon & Vaporeon

So here's what team I feel Adaman realistically should've had. Since he never had more than 3 Pokemon in the game, I'll only give him 3 Pokemon here.

-Hisuian Goodra: Steel/Dragon
The Diamond Clan lives within the Crimson Mirelands which is basically the marsh of the Hisui region. It's only fitting if Adaman had a Pokemon found in the very environment his Clan is located in. There's also an Alpha Goodra within the Mirelands and I feel that Adaman, a Clan Leader, would have the battle capabilities advanced enough that he could successfully conquer and capture this Alpha.
-Weavile: Dark/Ice
Considering how Adaman is adamant that he hates wasting time due to his role as Guardian and devotion to the God of Time, I feel it'd be fitting if he had a REALLY fast Pokemon on his team. Weavile IS the fastest Pokemon in the Sinnoh Region afteral.
-Gallade: Psychic/Fighting
Because groups of Ralts and Kirlia regularly spawn next to the shrine of Hisuian Lilligant, one of the Nobels of the Diamond Clan located within the Mirelands, I can imagine Adaman training up his own Gallade from a Ralts. Gallade, much like a Gardevoir, will protect their trainer at all costs as they share a deep and inseparable bond. Adaman needs an Ace Pokemon and someone he can trust his life within as people in Hisui were known to have a Partner Pokemon. Plus, Adaman is regularly found at the Snowpoint Ruins with Sabi where an Alpha Gallade in known to spawn.

3. Champion Geeta

The fanbase is at an agreement that Champion Geeta of Scarlet & Violet is the easiest Champion in Pokemon history and her team was strangely underwhelming. I DO agree with some of the Pokemon on her team, but I won't deny her team needs a glowup. Like, this girl is actively using horrible Pokemon on her team and half of her team are Pokemon that the Gym Leaders also used. I'm sorry, Veluza and Gogoat are horrible Pokemon in battle on top of how you shouldn't have multiple Pokemon of the same type on your team.

The Pokemon originally on Geeta's team Includes: Glimmora, Kingambit, Espathra, Avalugg, Gogoat & Veluza

Here's the team I'd imagine Geeta would use instead:

-Kingambit: Dark/Steel
Kingambit was on Geeta's original team and I 100% agree that it deserves to be on her team. Geeta is seen as the highest power of Paldea, therefore having a 'King' Pokemon feels deserving. Plus, Kingambit's ability, Supreme Overlord, gives the Pokemon an attack boost for every Pokemon that fainted before Kingambit takes the field. This could make Kingambit an absolute powerhouse with the ability to practically one-shot your entire team IF it had been her final Pokemon.
-Glimmora: Poison/Rock
Glimmora, oddly enough, was Geeta's Ace Pokemon in her original team. I'm 100% alright with Geeta keeping her Ace Pokemon as no other trainers in all of Paldea have one and that Glimmora looks like Geeta too.
- Ceruledge: Fire/Ghost
I was INSANELY weirded out that Geeta didn't have Ceruledge or Armarouge in either of her teams. I can't even put my finger on it either, it just seems like I'd find a Ceruledge on her team.
-Eelektross: Electric
Why am I surprised Geeta doesn't have an Eelektross? Based on how much the game amped up Geeta saying she's just as gifted if not better than Leon, I assumed we were getting an Elite team out of her. It was a REALLY big deal that Eelektross was finally brought back to the series after 10+ years and considering its one of the best Electric types in existence from its scary high Special Attack stat to how Eelektross has NO weaknesses, I'm surprised Geeta doesn't have one.
-Baxcalibur: Dragon/Ice
Most Champions normally have AT LEAST one Dragon Type on their team and the only one without would be Steven. If Geeta were to have a Dragon on her team, I feel it's deserving she gets the new regional Dragon on her team. Afteral, Geeta already had an Avalugg on her original team and Baxcalibur would replace Avalugg with the ice typing. If you want to say due to one of the Elite 4 having Baxcalibur as their Ace, I would instead choose a Noivern for Geeta.
-Palafin: Water/Normal
I can completely see why Palafin wasn't on Geeta's team as this Pokemon has stats equivalent to a Legendary Pokemon as well as it requires that you withdraw Palafin from battle in order to even trigger its hero form. This would further require Pokemon to program an advanced AI into Geeta's character to even make the character withdraw her Pokemon in the first place as NPCs aren't known to do. Let's say that Geeta DOES have the AI necessary in order to utilize Palafin to its fullest, Geeta would be deserving of her title as Champion to use such a strategic Pokemon AND Geeta would still have a water type on her team.

Which new team did you like most? Which one made more sense compared to their original team?
