Despite how the fanbase wants Pokemon to put Ash to rest in the anime series, Pokemon has already greenlit another Anime series where Ash will be the main character. This makes no sense to me, especially since Pokemon Journeys is HEAVILY suggesting that that'll be Ash's final journey. I guess he'll be visiting the Paldea Region in the Scarlet & Violet anime.

So here are the Pokemon, from what have been introduced so far, that I think Ash will catch during his run in the Scarlet & Violet anime.

1. Cyclizar

It's almost certain that Pokemon will give Cyclizar the Diance treatment. As in, Diance is a mythical Pokemon that came to be when a Carbink evolved. Carbink DONT evolve by the way! That's why Diance is the only one of its kind as it evolved from a Pokemon that don't evolve. It's HEAVILY suggested that Cyclizar in the games will eventually evolve into the box legendaries: Kuraidon & Miraidon considering that Cyclizar IS the main transportation in Paldea, I believe Ash will happen to catch one either just cause he found one in the Wild OR because he'll need one to traverse Paldea. Not only does Cyclizar fit Ash's vibe but I feel that Ash will happen to have a Cyclizar that'll eventually become Kuraidon or Miraidon as well.

2. Fuecoco

Is it just me or does Fuecoco give off the same vibes as Ash's Rowlet? An aloof cutie pie who likes to sleep alot? Is it just me? Anyways, Fuecoco just looks AND feels as if I'd find it on Ash's team. Most of the time Ash ends up with the fire starter Pokemon in just about every single region he visits AND almost always fully evolves it as well. Such as his Charizard, Infernape & Incineroar. Although I feel that in this Journey Ash will end up with multiple or maybe even all of Paldea's starter Pokemon, I 100% feel that Ash will end up with a Fuecoco. Do I think Ash will fully evolve Fuecoco? Definitely not. I feel Fuecoco will indeed get the Rowlet treatment and remain in its 1st stage OR it'll evolve once. I cannot imagine Ash's Fuecoco doing too well in battles and that's why I feel it won't reach its final stage.

3. Quaxley

I also feel that Ash will end up with Quaxley, the Water Starter for the Paldea Region. Same with Fuecoco, something about this Pokemon just screams that I'd find it on Ash's team. In fact, I feel that Quaxley will end up being Ash's Ace Pokemon too in this journey. I feel that Quaxley might get the Greninja treatment. As in, Ash will be incredibly close with this Quaxley in question, Quaxley will have a fighters spirit and wind up being Ash's star Pokemon this time around. I am almost certain that if any of Ash's Pokemon in this journey does fully evolve, it WILL be his Quaxley.

4. Greavard

The newest Pokemon to be announced for Scarlet and Violet is a ghost dog. Ash has only ever captured one ghost Pokemon ever, and that's his Gengar that he had captured In Journeys. The Gengar in question doesn't really fight in battles. I feel that Greavard will wind up being the second ghost type Ash will ever capture as this Pokemon is known for being very clingy and loving towards their owners. I can see Ash meeting a Greavard but Ash doesn't initially catch it. I can see the Greavard becoming instantly attached to Ash and it follows him around for a few episodes or until Ash catches it.

5. Larvitar OR a Regional Variant

We've only seen one regional variant in the Paldea Region so far and that's Wooper. I don't think Ash will catch Paldean Wooper. But I do feel that Ash will catch a regional or paradox form Pokemon. According to leaks, there's a gigantic slew of Pokemon recieving regional or paradox forms such as Tyranitar, Salamence, Gardevoir, Gallade, Volcarona, Jigglypuff, Primape, Dunsparce, Donphan and more. Considering the huge list of Pokemon to receive regional or paradox forms, I feel that Ash WILL finally catch himself a Larvitar and end with a Tyranitar. This is due to how Ash temporarily owned a Larvitar in the past but never officially owned it. He also temporarily had a Haunter BUT never officially owned one but later Ash had caught a Gengar which in a way was foreshadowing. So I feel Ash will finally catch himself a Larvitar and later evolve it to become a Paldean Tyranitar.

6. A Bird Pokemon, Specifically Corviknight

Literally every single Pokemon region/journey Ash winds up with a bird Pokemon to some capacity. In Kanto, he had a Pidgeot. In Johto, he had Noctowl. Hoenn, he had Swellow. Sinnoh, he had Staraptor. Unova, he had Unfesant. Kalos, he had Talonflame. Alola, he had Rowlet. Galar, he had Sirfetch'd. Although Quaxley will most likely wind up being Ash's regional bird Pokemon, if Ash by chance doesn't get Quaxley he'll instead have another bird Pokemon to some capacity. We haven't been shown ANY new bird Pokemon in the Paldea Region quite yet, but something tells me Ash will end up with one. We do know however that the Rookidee & Fletchling family will be featured within Scarlet & Violet. Ash already owns a Talonflame, so maybe, just maybe, he'll catch his own Corviknight! I'm insanely surprised he didn't catch a Corviknight during his adventures in Galar.
