The final ranking for this week, I'm going over the Fire Starter Pokemon and ranking them based on how much I love them worst to best. This doesn't mean I hate the Pokemon, it just means I like a Pokémon more or less than others.

Just like the last two, I'm ranking the Starters based on how much I like them and Soley On their first stage/base form, therefore I'm gonna refrain from ranking based on their evolutions.

9. Chimchar

I've NEVER been a fan of Chimchar. I DO however like Infernape. I'm not ranking the Starters based on their evolutions though... I've Never been a fan of primate Pokemon and all of Chimchar's 3D sprites just don't look right.

8. Charmander

As of nowadays, I think we're all tired of Charizard. I've always liked Charmander the least out of the Kanto Starters and while it's design is simple and memorable, it doesn't do anything special to me in particular.

7. Fuecoco

One look at Fuecoco and I could tell it was gonna be the popular choice of Scarlet & Violet. It's a happy Crocodile. It doesn't do anything special however and it just doesn't hold up against most of the fire Starters.

6. Scorbunny

Another starter I just don't really care for. This rabbit is oversexualized within the community to the point it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Scorbunny has a good design but it isn't my cup of tea.

5. Torchic

I had a weird fixation with Torchic when I was younger and as of now I don't understand why I did. It's an orange chick. It's cute, I'll hand it that! I just like other fire starters more.

4. Cyndaquil

I've almost always thought the Cyndaquil family looked odd and have always wondered if Cyndaquil is able to open its eyes. It's a cute little guy and I've always thought it's fire spines are especially cool. I've always sort of pushed Cyndaquil to the side since in nearly every game it's featured within, it's outranked by the other starters it's going up against. Sorry, I've always preferred Totodile & Oshawott!!!

3. Tepig

Gen 5 was one of those generations where all three of the Starter Pokemon were really good and I had an insanely hard time choosing between them all. While Tepig WAS my last choice, I still find Tepig insanely cute and overhated by the community. Nobody gives this firey hog enough love!!!

2. Fennekin

Fox Pokemon. End of Story. While ALOT of the fanbase are growing tired of Fox Pokemon, I'm always on board with them. When X & Y came out, I didn't even consider Chespin or Froakie due to how Fennekin was my clear cut choice upon first glance and even after playing X & Y a few times I STILL prefer Fennekin above the other starters. She's cute AND evolves into one of my all time favorite Pokemon.

1. Litten

I regret not initially choosing Litten when Sun & Moon came out. Litten is such a cool Pokemon. From being a cat with a red and black color scheme, it's deadpan expression and how solid of an evolutionary line this Pokemon has. No doubt, I love Litten above MOST of the Starter Pokemon. Litten ranks in my top 5 Starters behind Bulbasaur, Sobble & Oshawott if that says anything. I absolutely love this guy and so many rip on him due to the fanbase disliking it's final evolution. Litten deserves more love!!!
