Fanmade Paradox Forms

Today's update is going over fanmade Paradox forms for our beloved Pokemon. Paradox forms are alternate forms of current day Pokemon from either the distant past or the distant future. Paradox forms are a little bit of a sensitive topic in the fanbase as everyone seems to be at an agreement, the Violet Paradox forms dropped the ball pretty badly...

So for today, I'm picking out 10 Past fanmade Paradox forms and 10 Future fanmade Paradox forms.

1. Paradox Incineroar

This fanmade past Paradox form for Incineroar details how Incineroar would've been a quadruped & quite possibly the king of the jungle. Blazing Roar seems like a fitting name as tigers have the most mightiest roars of the cat family. In fact, in the film Lion King, the Lion's roars are actually Tiger roars. Use that information for what you will. I like this Paradox form because it finally gives Incineroar the Fighting typing as it should've always had and it has a realistic design I could see in the Pokemon games.

2. Paradox Entei

Ever since Paradox Suicune aka Walking Wake was introduced, artists have gone wild over what Past Paradox Entei & Raikou mightve looked liked and I feel that this fanart in particular looks the most realistic in Pokemon standard. What most artists get wrong about Paradox Entei & Raikou is that they keep their feline/canine qualities. Past Paradox pokemon are supposed to be Dinosaurs & birds hence why Walking Wake looked like a Velociraptor. This Paradox form for Entei, while yes it has some canine qualities, looks reminiscent of a Styracosaurus/a subspecies of triceratops. As mentioned earlier, this fanart seems very plausible to happen and I'd happily add this guy to my team.

3. Paradox Spinda

The second I saw this fanart, I jumped on it! Spinda is 100% a forgotten Pokemon in the series as it doesn't evolve, let alone performs even remotely alright in battle. Spinda isn't a good Pokemon and there's reasons why it hasn't came back to the series in over 10 years. Paradox Pokemon often give forgotten or otherwise horrible Pokemon some time in the spotlight and Spinda is a worthy choice as I've always been curious of why Spinda is the way that it is. Viral Giddy as the artist dubbed it looks like something out of a fever dream, something I'd find in Labyrinth or Neverending Story lol. Long story short, it's really interesting and I wish this was in Scarlet & Violet.

4. Paradox Cramorant

I'll be honest, I don't think anyone likes Cramorant but I firmly believe Pokemon didn't do enough for Cramorant. It feels like a one off Pokemon that COULD be great but the company dropped the ball. Dubbed as Raging Terror by the artist, past Paradox Cramorant looks like a straight up Dinosaur and I'm 100% here for it. It's a realistic evolution for Cramorant from past to present and gives a sense of realism.

5. Paradox Hitmontop

Following the same inspiration as Iron Valiant: A Paradox Pokemon that merged Gallade & Gardevoir together. This past Paradox form merges Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee & Hitmontop together for an astonishingly awesome Pokemon. I actually wonder why this Paradox form doesn't exist as it seems like potential screaming at you in the face. Like we have one merged Paradox form for the past AND future but nope... I really like this guy as it's creative and shows us why Tyrouge has a three way split evolution line.

6. Paradox Heracross

Paradox Heracross, dubbed as Great Horn, is a more literal interpretation of the insect Heracross' is based on: The Rhino Beetle. I don't have much to say on this guy besides it REALLY should've happened. This past Paradox form looks strangely similar to Klawf. Maybe Pokemon could've made a connection to Klawf and Heracross? Seems like wasted potential if you ask me.

7. Paradox Weavile

Although yes, this looks more like a regional or convergent form, it feels more fitting than Hisuian Sneasle/Sneasler ever did. Sneasle is present in Scarlet & Violet, Scarlet & Violet takes place in real world Spain and many of the Pokemon featured in this game can be found in Hispanic countries. This Paradox form reminds me of the Aztecs and Mayans, once again, feeling like wasted potential on Pokemon's end.

8. Paradox Genesect

It is confirmed that we, the fanbase, have yet to meet the Pokemon Genesect originally was before Team Plasma revived & experimented on it. What better way to show us what Genesect originally looked like than to give us a Past Paradox form!? I don't got much to say besides just how badly I want to see the original Genesect!!!

9. Paradox Gliscor

Gliscor always felt weird to me. It's a flyong scorpion gargoyle. Pokemon has never bothered to explain Gliscor either as to what exactly this scary freak of nature is. Well, according to the artist here, Deadly Pincers used to originally be a Scorpion in the distant past. Thing is, I'm VERY certain that Paradox Gliscor is in our near future as Pokemon Leakers have confirmed there's a new Scorprion Pokemon in the game coding for Scarlet & Violet that we have yet to see and THIS might just be that scorpion Pokemon in question.

10. Paradox Feraligatr

I'm pretty sure we're gonna be seeing one of the Johto starters getting a Paradox form and I'm sure it's gonna be Meganium or Feraligatr. Why? Meganium already is a Dinosaur and Alligators are the closest relatives to Dinosaurs. I've seen Paradox forms for Ferligatr and Meganium pop up all over the place so I thought I'd share this one with you guys. Dubbed as Brute Jaws, it shows us how Feraligatr looked in the distant past as the Feraligatr we know today does have some weird proportions going on and evolution from past to present might just explain it. In all of Feraligatr's Pokedex entries, it details how it has the strongest jaw/bite force of any living Pokemon and that it's rightfully a feared Pokemon by most. Therefore, a Past Paradox form might show us fan just what exactly there is to fear about this guy.

11. Paradox Venusaur

One of the fanmade Paradox forms that has taken the fanbase by storm is a future Paradox form for Venusaur dubbed as Iron Plant. I think it's pretty obvious why it's a hit in the fanbase right now: Fanservice. Anything to do with Generation 1 Pokemon is normally a giant hit or a miss in the fanbase but I have to admit, this is pretty cool. I love how the flower of Iron Plant's back is acting like a solar panel of sorts or even a space satellite. Either way I think it's cool and I can see why the fanbase took a liking to this fanart.

12. Paradox Combee/Vespiquen

Future Paradox Combee/Vespiquen, dubbed as Iron Hive, immediately took my interest as it reminds me of the Generation 3 Pokemon Movie: Pokemon: Destiny Deoxys. The movie took place in a metropolitan high tech city where a bunch of robotic cubes with friendly pixelated faces could conjoin themselves went about society helping and monitoring everyone. These robots REALLY reminded me of this fanart. Considering how Combee & Vespiquen are present in Scarlet & Violet, and that I've felt the Combee line needs a new form or evolution of somesort, Iron Hive is a PERFECT way to bring new life to the Combee line.

13. Paradox Decidueye

Honestly, I Thought this was gonna happen lol. Decidueye gets a strange amount of fanservice/attention in the Pokemon games due to how its a fan favorite, therefore Pokemon keeps bringing it back. Dubbed as Iron Arrow, it's a Future Paradox form for Decidueye and I must say that it looks awesome and I'm a little disappointed that it never came to the series. It's typing of Fighting & Ghost merges the two existing forms of Decidueye we know today, being the Alolan Grass-Ghost form and the Hisuian Grass-Fighting form. It works and I wouldn't be surprised if Pokemon were to eventually give us a Paradox form for Decidueye.

14. Paradox Dragapult

Dubbed as Iron Jet, this is a Future Paradox form for Dragapult and it caught my eye IMMEDIATELY. The missile/Dreepy gimmick that Dragapult utilizes was reimagined as legit war homing missles/drones on this Paradox form is just untapped potential. If I had to be honest, I'm VERY surprised we didn't get a past or future Paradox form for Dragapult as it's canon in the Pokemon series that Dragapult is a ghost type now because it's original form went extinct. Therefore, a Past Paradox form could've shown us what Dragapult used to look like back in ancient times BEFORE they died out. A Future Paradox form for Dragapult shows us how the Dragapult line continues to evolve and adapt as the times roll on. No matter what, I'm MAD Dragapult got no attention this generation.

15. Paradox Kangaskhan

Dubbed as Iron Pilot by the artist, this is a unique take on a Future Paradox form for Kangaskhan. Baby Kangaskhan pilots a mech suit of an adult Kangaskhan which is a little odd, but REALLY cool. I like the idea of a Pokemon piloting another as this wouldnt be the first time Pokemon has done somthing similar as Tatsugiri & Dondozo have the same puppeteering gimick. Pokemon has already done something similar to this in the past, so it's not impossible. In Pokemon XD Gale Of Darkness, the player has to fight a mech suit of a Groudon in which the pilot works the robot through the stomach JUST LIKE what's pictured above. I wouldn't be surprised if an event or DLC for Scarlet & Violet gives us Paradox Kangaskhan.

16. Paradox Tauros

Dubbed as Iron Saddle by the artist, this is a Future Paradox form for Tauros. The artist took Inspiration from Mechanical Bulls: A machine people can ride on and compete over who can ride the longest without being thrown off. Yes, that's it. That's the literal only reason I featured it. I love the idea of a literal mechanical bull pokemon.

17. Paradox Chansey

Dubbed as Iron Nurse, this is the fanmade Future Paradox form for Chansey and its another fanart thats taken the fanbase by storm and rightfully so. It's a giant egg incubator and it legit looks like something the Pokemon Company would do as it gives off the same design elements as Iron Hands. This Paradox form further works as it merges design elements from Chansey and Happiny. It's works in so many ways!!!

18. Paradox Scizor

Dubbed as Iron Assault, this is a future Paradox form for Scizor. Yes, it looks like Mega Scizor, but that's the point. Confirmed in Roaring Moon's Pokedex entry, Mega Evolutions look like what the Pokemon in question used to originally look like. Hence why Mega Salamence & Roaring Moon look so similar. Further explaining why Iron Valiant has design elements from both Mega Gardevoir & Mega Gallade. Therefore, a Paradox form for Scizor that looks like Mega Scizor 100% makes sense and the primary reason I'm leaving this entry here.

19. Paradox Inteleon

Dubbed as Iron Stealth, this is a Future Paradox form for Inteleon.
Pokemon needs to somehow redeem Inteleon. Inteleon is one of the most disliked Pokemon in the fanbase and I feel that everyone is too harsh on Inteleon. I genuinely love Inteleon. Yes, it took a minute for me to adjust to it, but it's a phenomenal pokemon to use in battle. Iron Stealth takes advantage of how Inteleon's gimmick and design is centered around sniping and being an agent. It was a controversial topic when Inteleon's Gigantamax form gave it a freaking GUN but at least Iron Stealth looks more PG.

20. Paradox Mewtwo

I don't need to explain this one too much. In the movie Pokemon Mewtwo Strikes Back, Mewtwo donned an armored look and ever since the fanbase has wanted armored Mewtwo to make an appearance in the games. A Future Paradox form might just be the way we get it!!!

What's your favorite past and future Paradox form in this list?
