anyway, let's talk about uncle ricks shitty lantinx rep!!

ok onto the rant

First off: why is it that every single abusive person other than Luke is latino? Specifically Lantino dads, which is a very harmful stereotype within most poc communities.

Alex's dad was an unaccepting mexican who was probably extremely catholic. Reynas dad was honestly batshit crazy and because rick lacks nuance, he was probably on crack or some shit.

am i reaching? maybe. but when i first saw reynas dad that was the first thing that came to mind.

Second: spanish people having unnaturally large families is true. there is no way in hell there wasn't some kooky aunt who would have taken any of these kids in

Another thing: Alex being mexican doesn't automatically make her a cold-hearted bitch. you just decided to make your mexican character that way because that's how spanish people have always been portrayed in media. they are either super innocent and good catholic girls or a bitch. there is no in between unless you are the sexy guy

so, i didn't really like it when alex was a bitch and Reyna was kind of emotionless when we first met her.

this was really short, mainly because i didn't really have much to say other than...dude why. it's just been on my mind for a bit
