now, i was beginning some gameplay since i don't want to make thalia or jason and i can't comprehend making piper so i'm just gonna make them when the time is right

now the first thing i realized was that i should've made them all children to begin with since 5 is techincally a child. having a toddler in sims normally is already tiring, and i would have done three while also trying to create a decent narrative and when i began gameplay, that became very obvious.

so, because of that i am going to skip the general pre-school part and go into kindergarten, which is fine since all that did was make percy and grover friends. haing children become friends in this game is really easy

the only thing that's throwing me way off is the fact that they look to be around 10 rather than 5 but we're just going to pretend

also, there is no middle school, which means that until i finish the entire youth section they will be kids instead of whatever the fuck you would use to describe a middle schooler. When i officially separtate everyone, i will age them up and make the rest of the characters and get everything going

so, starting off we have miss annabeth chase.

now that she's, like, sentient i wanted to include a lot of greens because it's literally her favorite color. not fucking grey

but i also wanted it to be something that a kid would wear and something that parents of a kid would deem to be cute.

which is a weird middle ground because i'm looking at the outfits my 5-year-old cousin wants to wear and man is trying to have red and neon blue in the same outfit because of sharks and fire and fortnite (idk man i just vibe with it) but no one hates a child's parents so much to let him go out like that and the fits that he ends up wearing her doesn't really like

so coming to a middle ground was difficult.

anyway, frederick and linh are getting married as soon as i finish with this, and literally the only way to have her in any part of this wedding would be to be the flower girl which makes me a reasonable amount of mad

like i get it, sims is trying and they've done a lot for us queers but like

because of my own experience of having a step-parent being better than my sperm donor, i hate the idea that she can't be included at all

so i guess i'm just gonna slam my head against the wall

now sally and paul also need to get married because i was smart and totoally planned this before hand

so he's gonna be matching with them

but whatever

i also changed shel's dress because i cannot be reminded of my descendants phase
