Okay, so, last night, my tata (dad, dad, dad, dad) and my brother requested I watch good ol' Tom and Jerry episodes on YouTube with them. Of course, me loving Tom and Jerry, I accepted. I sat down and watched with them. They were already watching an episode, and I just watched it without question.

Except I didn't like it. It wasn't terrible, not necessarily; it had a good storyline, and it was like any Tom and Jerry episode. But it wasn't - not really.

Because, you see, it was a newer episode.

(Apparently, people are making new episodes now)

I didn't like the way they were animated (which was without an outline). There was just nothing outlining the characters, the backgrounds - the anything! It looked wrong. And- and weird.

But what I really don't like is the darned sound effects. They're horrible! When Tom was walking in a cave, it sounded like he was walking on grass. And then the way Jerry giggled - it was putrid. It made the Tom and Jerry franchise (I suppose you could call it that) seem less innocent and childlike, in a way. Just plain disgusting, that giggle was. Ugh.

At least there was that instrumental music, but it was... different. I'm not sure what was wrong with it, but it just seemed.... bleh. It wasn't as intense. It wasn't as fun to listen to. It was as if the people playing the instruments weren't as into it. :/

And then there was talking. I think there were four characters that were talking in that episode; an animal, two witches/wizards, and a magic mirror. Too much talking for something like Tom and Jerry, I'd say. I prefer it when there's barely any talking at all.

All in all, I like the older episodes a lot more. I'm old, I know. ;3 I take pride in most of my opinions. Go ahead and judge, GLITCHES! X) Lol, I could care less if you did.
