Do you see the green on the gray branches?
Such a vibrant color,
Where leaf hatches,
And greens holler

Do you smell the perfumed flowers?
What a sweet smell,
Coming from small towers,
And petal swell

Do you hear the the soft tweets?
The ones that get louder from the nightly birds,
When they have Meet 'N' Greets,
At day's third?

Do you not know?
Why, it's spring time!
The time when plants grow,
And rivers climb

The sun stays out longer,
It rains quite a lot more,
Snow is a goner,
And green is galore!
