While heading to Uruk, it was revealed that Enkidu was indeed a girl and that she was called to Uruk by the priestess to protect guests, that means the age if gods is still here

Enkidu: When I heard that the Master of Chaldea would be coming, so I had imagined someone like how Gilgamesh described them would show up and what do you know? It indeed is like how she described you.

You: Hehe...

Enkidu: I'm happy that it is someone like you

After a while, they stopped at a river

You: How long is it until we reach Uruk?

Enkidu: I wish to take you to the South for a faster route, but enters a different influential zone. Mesopotamia currently is on the brink of extinction.

The survivors went for Uruk and as for the grail, no one had it as of this moment. The enemy of humanity are the gods. The three Goddess Alliance, they have taken about 60% of the land of Mesopotamia and since this is the time of gods, there was never a time humans and the higher beings got along. Each of them destroyed the land using their own methods, meaning 20% percent each to Y/N. One of them is the Goddess of Beasts.

Before any of that, everyone was taken too mountain where a place where humanity could be safe, the Absolute Demonic Front, Babylonia. Somewhere in the forest, 2 other servants lies inside.

With the group, they watched as demonic beasts roam the front. Not just that, the Magic magnitude is bigger and this was being hold for 6 months and soldiers are driving back endless onslaughts of beasts

For Humans to suffer fewer casualties than the Demonic beasts and that was coming from the fact they were outnumbered. As for Y/N, he feels a servant that one of the known servants, Nero, has told about.

You: Leondias... Chloe, think you can give them a little support?

Everyone looks up as multiple swords then stab many demonic beasts before Enkidu leads them into the forest and that should bring them to a safe zone which has a boat there, meaning that they can take it downstream, or what Enkidu says

Proto Merlin: Hello! My disciple!!

Merlin hen hugs Y/N as he was submerged into her chest

Merlin: I missed you so much, I bet you missed your Ones-Chan too! I'm no enemy so hear me out okay?

Proto Merlin: Enkidu?

The Mage then tells that she was out on a quest to find the herb of immortality and that Gilgamesh didn't set out on said quest after Enkidu died, so if she has returned from that quest, Enkidu is dead from the beginning

You: Get down!!

Mashu then summons her shield as Enkidu uses her chains to attack them. She was a little close to see something fun

Merlin: The odds are against 4... Ana, help them

You: DON'T JUST STAND THERE, DO SOMETHING MERLIN!!

The girl then attacks Enkidu before she does a quick run and hit tactic. However, since Enkidu is a god, she knows more than them.

Another set of chains appeared as Ana chains. Since Enkidu is a chain itself, it was useless. Just for a split second, the world glitches out as the chains turned on Enkidu and chained her instead

Enkidu: What?!

Flowers then appears as it seemed to be Merlin before they disappeared.

Chloe: Hah, we're alive!

Merlin: Wow, that worked out great! I gelt a little guilty because it was like tricking an innocent child. Hm, Y/N?

You: What?

Merlin: You eyes are different

Merlin passes a mirror to Y/N as he sees that his left was purple and the other was red

Fou then appears as he pounces on Merlin

Romani and Olga then stop them as they told everything they knew about Merlin through. Merlin denies it all as Romani stops her from doing so.

Time skip

It turns out that Merlin was summoned by a master as her court mage and Ana was summoned by the influence of the grail, a rouge basically.

She met Merlin 2 days ago but was deceived and now she holds a grudge on Proto Merlin.

Proto Merlin: Besides that...

Y/N wanted Ana to come as well. Even though they never met before, Ana knew something was different about him.

Time skip

The following morning, they group treks out of the woods towards Babylonia. Meaning nothing starts until they reach Uruk

Chloe: The King right now is Gilgamesh, right?

Proto Merlin: Yes, the most tyrannical of all ancient kings. She severed her ties with the gods saying that they're arrogant and she claims all the treasures of the world is hers

You: What about men?

Proto Merlin: I think you know that answer, Y/N, she didn't want anyone else but you. As for the rest; she will kill you regardless of agreeing or disagreeing on her opinion.

You: A hero born as a demi-god... the gods created Enkidu just for her and became friends, an extremely arrogant tyrant.

Time skip

After a while, they stopped at a checkpoint before entering Uruk. Luckily, Merlin allowed them entry while Chloe and Illya was inside the carriage to rest

You: It's okay if you want to accept it, Ana

Merlin: Go ahead

She was offered sweets from a guard protecting the outside before heading in. As they do so, Y/an was amazed on now prosperous it was.

You: Wow...

For a fighting city, everything was still like your normal ancient city. The tour would be later as Merlin guides them to Ziggurat, a shrine and an alter where Gilgamesh was there

When they got inside, they saw Gilgamesh in a traditional outfit that exposes her chest a little too much

She doesn't even bother about it as she continues her work, to think Y/N would see the day but Mashu thinks they wouldn't be able to her a word.

Proto Merlin: King Gilgamesh! I, Merlin, Mage Extraordinaire, have brought guests, you busy? Yeah, I can see that, so don't worry! 

You: Merlin!

Gilgamesh hears Y/N's voice as she looks at the group. Her secretary then asks who they were and that they weren't from Uruk, so why would Merlin bring them?

Gilgamesh: No, I understand the situation. You may go, Siduri

Siduri: You don't mean-

Gilgamesh: Just as you suspected, I'm going to make a mess of the throne! I'm busy, too busy to exchange words with you to get to know you. Thus, I shall examine your genuineness.

Gilgamesh then opens a stone tablet and to test them through battle

Gilgamesh: All but you, Y/N

Everyone: Huh?

Gilgamesh then lifts Y/N up as he sits on her throne

Gilgamesh: I know very well who you are, so sit back and enjoy the show, my husband~

You: Just don't kill them please!

Gilgamesh: No promises
