Chapter 2: Meeting Regina

It was silent in Robins cell, all he heard was water dripping, until he heard footsteps, not heavy ones, like the guards, but lighter, softer footsteps.

He saw princess Regina walking down the stairs, she looks beautiful, he thought,

He stood up to bow, but she stopped him, "It's just me, " She said laughing a little, "you don't need to do that when it's just the two of us."

Robin sat back down on wood bed, "Milady, I have a question." Robin asked.

Regina looked at him curiously, "Please ask." She responded.

"Milady, why did you save me?" Robin asked Regina.

"Because, we all deserve a second chance to redeem ourselves." She responded, sounding honest and truthful to Robin.

"Thank you." Robin said.

Regina left the underground prison because she feared her mother would wonder where she was.

"Regina, where we're you? " Her mother, Cora, said as she ran toward Regina, with her maid behind her.

Before Regina had a chance to respond, Cora dismissed the maid with a wave of  her hand, the maid bowed, then left towards the servants hall.

Regina saw her mom staring at her, waiting for an answer, "Mother, I was visiting Robin." Regina responsed with her head down.

"Why were you visiting  him?" Cora replied.

"I wanted to see if he was fine, that's all." Regina said, hoping her mother wasn't mad.

Cora grabbed Reginas chin and put her face close to hers, "If I found out you were doing more than what you said you did down there, you know what I'm gonna do."

Regina imagined innocent servants being killed, the townspeople being killed more often, and many more bad things.

Cora let go, and watched as Regina fell to her knees, then Cora left without saying another word.
