|1|An Unknown Place|

~O~

"Huh...?"

His head felt heavy and his mouth was dry as he fluttered his eyes open revealing a unique yet familiar set of two hetrochromatic eyes. Shoto Todoroki sat up, groaning from the pain in his head as he rubbed his hand all over his face.

It took him a few moments to get himself ready for whatever was ahead as he slowly started to look around the place he was at.

"Strange..." Todoroki pondered, "I've never seen this place before..."

He stood up observing the place he woke up at by turning around. It looked almost like a five star hotel but without literally any other person being there.

The beautiful black tiled floor with golden flower patterns was clean to the point he could see his dim reflection. There were luxuriously beautiful purple lamps that dimly illuminated the area which more or less looked like a lobby since there were a set of couches in a circular shape in the middle of the room. A huge crystal clear chandelier was fixated to the ceiling right above the couches. There was also a huge fish tank right beside Todoroki that had lights of it's own as multicoloured fishes swam in it's lukewarm water.

Despite it being a lonely place, it surely looked pleasing to the eye.

And so it would be to Shoto Todoroki,

Only if it wasn't for the fact that he didn't remember anything at all...

He didn't remember how he got here.

He didn't remember what he was doing before he got here.

He had never seen this place before.

He wasn't entirely sure if he was alone here or not.

Therefore, he had every right to be suspicious about this place.

"Perhaps, I should look around further... I might find someone." Todoroki said to no one in particular as he began walking around the place.

He looked behind the couches. Nothing. In front of the couches; a glass table with chocolates served on a golden plate. Haha. Nope. Around the fish tank. Nothing special. There was a white reception desk, with a lot of keys hanging behind it, at the other end of the room though but no one was there so Todoroki choose not to go there.

Only if someone was there to guide him through...

Oh wait.

Todoroki's hand reached his pockets and he eventually and fortunately found what he was looking for; his phone. He could just contact someone and inform them about this situation!

He quickly typed in the password and opened his contact list after seeing that he still had a fair enough connection. Swiping through his contacts, his finger suddenly stopped as his eyes caught the sight of something he quite didn't comprehend well.

"What...?" Todoroki squinted his eyes and looked at the top line of his cellphone to see the time and date.

?́͝%͏̸̢͘͘͟͡͡:̶̶̧͘͏̶̢̡̛͜͜͟͡͡#̡̛́̀͢͠*͏̨̨͜͏̷̵̨̡̧̛̛́̀̕͠ ̶̵̵̢̡̢̡̛̀̀͜͞-̀-̵̨̛͟͞͞

j̴̢̛́͘͟͡͞͡fú̸͢͞͝͠͞,̴̷̷̴̷̡̨́̀͜͜͞͞͝͞͏ć̸̶̨̢̢̛̕͟͢͢͜x̢y͏̵̵̛́͘̕͟͝ḱ̸̶̸̵̴̛̛́̀̕͘͟͜͞͞͝p̧͟͏̶g̷̡̨q̧̨́͏̢̧̧̧̀͘͘̕͜͟͜͟͝͡͞ ̴̵̵̢̡̢̨̛́̕͢͢͢͡͠͝͏͡?̀?̸́͡͞͏͏̸̴̶̴̢̨̧́̕͞

"What nonsense?" Todoroki opened the phone's settings in an attempt to fix the date and time but in vain because as soon as he clicked the time and date settings option his phone just turned off automatically despite being charged halfway through.

He made a 'tsk' sound as he realized that now he couldn't contact anyone. But with the date and time thing still lingering in his mind, he quickly turned to the reception desk.

"There has to be a calendar here..." Todoroki said as he looked around the wide desk and just his luck; he found a calendar right at the edge of the desk.

But the problem was; it's data was disheveled as well just like it appeared in his device and to Todoroki, it all made no sense.

So, in order to ignore the whole time thing, Todoroki just decided check the place out further. Getting himself out of the lobby and going down a hall, the dual-hair-coloured boy found three elevators in a row. It should be a good thing, right?

He pressed a button and waited for the middle elevator's doors to get opened which appeared strange to him since it took above five minutes. Which meant either the elevator service was pretty poor or that there was someone else stuck here too, perhaps just on another floor.

With a sudden sound of 'ding', the doors slid opened revealing that the interior was empty but it was completely made of mirrors. And so, Todoroki sighed, taking a step forwards. But, unfortunately, he accidentally lost his footing and tripped over.

He almost fell face first to the ground but what happened next left him unnerved. He was seconds away from crashing on the floor if it wasn't for the familiar pair of scarred arms catching him midway from behind.

"Watch where you're going, Todoroki!"

Todoroki could recognize that voice anywhere.

That cheery and yet concerned tone undeniably belonged to Izuku Midoriya.

The green haired boy helped Todoroki back on his feet and retracted his arms to his sides quickly. Todoroki turned to look back at him with a confused expression only to see him smiling like nothing ever happened.

"Yeah... Thanks." Todoroki said underneath his breath.

The thing was, he never saw Midoriya's reflection in the mirrors ahead so it quite surprised him how fast the green head got there. But at least he wasn't alone now.

That was until...

Todoroki subconsciously looked back in one of the elevator's mirrors and to his surprise, he found his reflection standing alone. Midoriya didn't have a reflection in those mirrors.

"What the—!?"

Seeing this, Todoroki quickly turned back to where the other boy was only to find nothing at all. He was the only one standing there.

Where did Midoriya go?

Was that just his imagination?

Was this all just a stupid prank?

What was happening?

Was Midoriya ever really there?

Why did it feel like something really bad was going to happen?

Scratch that — it felt like something really bad already had happened.

But, what?

Todoroki's memory of the day before wasn't very clear and he couldn't put a finger on anything. He could just tell, something's wrong with Midoriya. That was all he knew in that moment. He had to get out of here to help him. He had to check on his friend. He had to make sure he was safe an—!

A light chuckle was heard.

And Todoroki felt a breath pass his ear.

In any case, Todoroki decided not to take the elevator and just wait for someone else to arrive first.

~O~

"Bakugou, you're not thinking through this situation!!" Kirishima exclaimed, looking at the ash blonde with a worried expression.

"What is there to rack my brains at, if I got no fucking memories!!" Bakugou yelled back, his hands stuffed in his pants' pockets.

The two were currently seen in an elevator, apparently going down. The interior of the said elevator wasn't different from what Todoroki saw earlier at all, it was too completely made of mirrors from the inside — reflecting the redhead's and the blonde's images onto itself as it travelled it's distance down.

Earlier, the two boys woke up in a place completely unknown to them. With no memories of their most recent past. No idea how they got here, what this place was or even what they were doing before this all happened. Looking around the duo found three elevators down a hall and decided to take one to get to the first floor. But before they could even step in the elevator, the duo saw something. Or rather someone.

"Um, Kacchan? Kirishima? Be careful!"

A swift turn and the two said boys were looking at their green haired classmate.

Panic rushed into Kirishima's system.

He had searched every frigin' room, every damned corner of that floor, there was literally no one else except the two of then anywhere. Where did Midoriya come from? How was he here? Was he hiding from then? Why hiding? If hiding, then why come out now? Did he know something? What was there to be careful about? Were they under attack? Was there a villain? What was going on?

Kirishima's sight fell on the floor, deep in thought, the boy didn't say a word.

Bakugou glanced at the redhead. And then back at Midoriya who was standing in the hallway.

"Hey, Deku, what the—?"

The two were alone.

Midoriya wasn't there.

Kirishima and Bakugou were the only ones there.

Bakugou narrowed his eyes in confusion. What the hell?

"Uh? Midoriya? Where?" Kirishima snapped out of his train of thoughts and looked around for the green haired boy before Bakugou caught him by his wrist and pulled him inside the elevator.

And so, here they were now.

"But what if Midoriya knew something!? We can't just leave him alone over there and especially in this situation! C'mon, dude!" Kirishima said.

Bakugou did not say anything in reply.

"Tch. You dumbass," Bakugou growled, "Something clearly is wrong here. Deku won't run off on us if he really was there. And neither would he hide in first place. Something's wrong. And it's very very wrong. Some really wicked shit is happening."

"Doesn't that simply means that we should help him inste—?!"

"No. We better off keep our distance from him." Bakugou said, "Something's off about Deku. Or whoever that was."

"What do you mean by whoever that was!?"

"He—!"

Bakugou couldn't reply to Kirishima's question as the elevator's doors slid opened with a 'ding' and they both saw another familiar face.

~O~

Don't ask me. I just had the idea.
