Devin's POV

"Devin" My mom yelled to me "What" I yelled back I was trying to go back to bed I pulled the covers over my face trying to go back to sleep "Get up and get ready My friend is coming over with her children so get ready " My mom yelled to me I sighed "okay mom," I say back to her. I get up and walk over to my bathroom and I close the door and locked it.

Great knowing who mom's friend is I mean don't get me wrong she really sweet it's just one of her sons whose name is Richie has a habit of flirting and making fun of me at the same time well not really he only makes fun of me at school since he is Mr. Popular with his friend and brother Brandon I mean Brandon is nice and he's calm which more I could say about Richie. He really isn't I don't know why but I can never get him out of my mind. He's an asshole but I get so confused by him since he flirts with me when we are alone and I guess he is hot wait why am I thinking about him ugh "Knock-Knock " Ritchie said opening my bedroom door while Brandon just walked in and sat in my chair on his phone "hold on" I said from the bathroom I finished changing and brushing my hair which was still a little wet from showering my teeth were cleaned I was ready to deal with him maybe he would shut up I smiled a little thinking about him. Wait why am I still thinking about him? I sigh as I walk over to the door unlock it and walk out as I close the door. Richie wasn't saying anything he was just staring I ignored him and sat on my bed I was about to get my phone before Richie mumbled something Brandon sighed and walked over to him I rolled my eyes and got on my phone being honest this was the first time Ritchie was actually quiet for once

It was strange but peaceful

yet for some reason deep down

It felt weird and I didn't like it

One unread Message was sent from Jax

I smiled while looking at my phone. I clicked on Jax's message

See here is the thing my mom is a Huge fan of Greek mythology and before she met my dad which before anyone asked. He works as an Egyptologist so he is mostly across the world, but he sends gifts and postcards whenever he can

Which is really sweet since I hadn't seen him in Five years because of all the work he does

Well back to what I was saying about my mom and older brothers visiting our dad in Grease. While they were there my mom went to Aphrodite's temple and asked her for a child and for her child to have a soulmate. Aphrodite was interested in this I suppose well my mom did leave her a really beautiful heirloom. I guess the goddess of love and beauty loved it so much that she agreed my mom and siblings went back to America. When she got back she found out she was expecting a baby Me. Well now it's just me and mom at home since my Older brothers who I may add are in college Currently I'm a junior in high school

Mom says it's a blessing, but it honestly feels like a curse because if I try to be with anyone who isn't my soulmate then that person will never be able to end up with anyone

Their love life is well-cursed

Jax - Hey Devin do you want to go to the movies with me and a few of my friends

Dev - Sure why not

I smiled. Jax replied really fast now we were just texting each other.....

Ritchie's Pov

Devin walked out of his bathroom, and man he looked so cute. I wish I could tell him that I have feelings for him "You're really cute" I said it came out as a mumble. He walks over to his bed and sits down on it. Brandon walks over to me "So if you are going to flirt with him, I'm 100% leaving" Brandon said looking at me "What no It's just" I sighed "Oh right you haven't told him just yell it and maybe it would come out" Brandon said looking at me in caring look. I know he wants me to be happy, but why does it feel like he just wants me to shut up sometimes who am I kidding he probably wants me to shut up about Devin. I turned to look at Devin "Yeah I know but..." I said I looked at Devin he was smiling and was blushing a little Who the hell is he texting? "Don't get jealous" Brandon told me I turned to look at him "I know that" I said but before I could say anything else "Boys time to go home" Our mom Isabella yelled "Okay Mom" Brandon said as he walked out of Devin's room

"Are you going to leave?" Devin looked up and questioned me. All I could do was smirk and walked over to his bed I lifted up his chin with my index finger. He was staring at me. His mouth was barely open I leaned in a little bit I wasn't that close to him I mean I was like 4 or 5 inches away from now before anyone asked. He started blushing a little bit You have no idea how cute he looks to me right now "You are blushing" I say softly while smirking "Shut up" Devin stuttered out getting redder by the second "You are so adorable" I said in a whisper Devin was going to say something but...

My brother called for me

"Ritchie hurry up or we are leaving you here " Brandon yelled " I'm going," I said not taking my eyes off of Devin "Bye, for now, Dev," I said winking at Devin letting go of his chin and walking out of his room smiling

Devins' Pov

Ritchie left my room why did he do that I mean.. Wait am I blushing why am I blushing I have feelings for Jax, not Ritchie why... I can feel my face getting redder by the second If I do have feelings for Jax. Then why is my heart....beating so fast...

Ugh why does he act like that

Do I want Ritchie to kiss me? I mean he had a chance, but he didn't take that chance does he want my consent? I mean he could have taken my first kiss, yet he didn't?

Ugh my heart is racing so much I need to get my mind off of this, but I can't Why does he have to be such a flirt? He has almost every single girl at our school falling for him Ugh I hope he stops acting like that soon....
