Writer's POV:-

"Aakarsh…" Diksha screamed as soon as she saw the scene in front.

The remains of the car and the nearby objects were burning furiously.

Yes, It was his car! 

He was inside after she left! Sheer terror gripped her heart, constricting it furiously, making it hard for her to breathe.

She couldn't see anything clearly due to the blurry vision, which was the result of the continuous welling up of her eyes.

"Aakarsh…."

She again shouted with everything in her. Tears formed in her eyes and they continued to roll down, again and again. She ran towards the car shouting his name. 

More tears rolled down dampening her cheeks; in a fraction of a second, the situation had turned disastrous for her. In a fraction of a second, she felt her world come crashing down.

Dreading for the worst she ran with a quick pace trying to reach the spot as soon as possible. But as they say — 'it's harder than you think'... The people had crowded the place in just a few seconds after hearing the loud sound of a bomb blast, making it difficult for her to reach there.

Within a span of just one minute, barely, and it took the shape of a stampede with people running here and there to save their lives. Some other things and small vehicles near Aakarsh's car were on fire too. 

What took her breath, almost away, was the blood spots and several injured people crying and calling for help.

Tearing the crowd somehow, she reached near the blast spot. The situation of his car was unexplainable. 

The whole car was almost torn to pieces. Not even a single screw was there to be identified. She felt her heart getting constricted more by the damaged state of the car. 

People were screaming and running everywhere possible. 

Diksha looked here and there. Every possible where her sight can go! But, to her sadness, Aakarsh was nowhere in sight.

She didn't want to believe what her mind was pondering over.

"Aakarsh is fine… He is fine…" she said between her hiccups; she sobbed, chanting it over and over again under her breath. Consoling her mind and heart that nothing has happened to her Aakarsh.

The new kind of fear engulfed her!

Fear of losing her love, her Aakarsh!

They had just started to feel each other!

They had just started to like each other!

They had just started to smile with each other!

And, they had just started to fall in love with each other! 

Numerous negative thoughts clouded her mind, restricting her sane thinking. 

She wasn't ready to lose him yet… not now… not ever! 

Suddenly someone held her hand from behind and started dragging her to the opposite side of the blast spot.

"Leave me… who are you? Where are you taking me? Errgghhhh… leave me…"

She couldn't see his face as he was walking ahead of her. She hit his hand which was holding her wrist and dragged her with him. He was a largely built man dressed up in a black suit.

Writer's POV:-

Krishna was lost in her thoughts, sitting in the hall when Annapurna came thereafter attending a call. She sat beside Krishna and frowned looking at her.

She looked at her for a few seconds and called her a few times before shaking her shoulders.

"Krishna, where are you so lost? I called you so many times." Annapurna said in a perplexed tone.

Krishna was startled at the sudden intrusion in her thoughts. She turned her face to Annapurna before speaking.

"Sorry, I was thinking something." Glancing once at her friend, Krishna looked away, staring at nothing in particular.

Her eyebrows were creased. The fine lines on her forehead were clearly telling her inner turmoil that drowned her deeper in them.

"What happened, Krishna? What got you so tensed?" Annapurna held her hands and asked, genuinely.

Not just for words, they were best friends for understanding each other's silence also. 

Sighing heavily, Krishna closed her eyes for a second before turning her face to Annapurna again and voiced out her concerns.

"I had a nightmare last night… It was so bad that I almost had a panic attack. Everything was fine this morning after I woke up, but now I am getting this negative vibe that something bad is going to happen and I don't know what to do with this feeling that's making me worried like hell!" Said Krishna getting restless as she clutched her clothes on her chest just above her heart. 

"Don't worry, nothing will go…." 

"Anu…"

Annapurna's sentence was interrupted abruptly by Mayank who entered with Mrinal. He called her in the most panicked voice as both the men had this terrified look on their faces.

Krishna and Annapurna stood up immediately, seeing them tense. Mrinal was constantly trying to call someone and as soon as the call got connected he turned to step out of the hall to talk.

"Mayank, tell them… I'm coming… it's connected!" Mrinal said before walking out.

"What happened? Why are you both so tense?" Asked Annapurna, thinning her eyebrows, looking at Mayank?

Mayank didn't say anything but switched on the TV and shuffled the channels before stopping in the news channel where breaking news was on flash.

The reporter was reporting from a stamped place. What the lady report said caught their attention:

*Breaking News: Bomb blast in the city. Delhi shook with a fatal bomb blast this evening. The bomb was in the car of the youngest billionaire of the country and the CEO of KV Technology, Aakarsh Verma, as identified by the police. Several people were injured on the spot. The medical team has reached and are carrying the injured to the hospital the police have been searching for Mr. Aakarsh Verma who was inside the car according to the local shopkeepers. Police are speculating his death as it's impossible to dodge such a fatal blast, but nothing is confirmed yet. Will be rep…." 

"Nooooo…." Krishna screamed her lungs out as soon as the reporter said the last line. Annapurna hurriedly switched the TV off and held her by shoulders.

"Diksha was with him this evening, Aakarsh had informed Mrinal about them coming together," Mayank said slowly, looking at Annapurna who lost it listening to him. 

Krishna cried more listening to him thinking about both their kids.

"Anu… They...they…" she couldn't form any more words and sobbed loudly. Annapurna didn't know what to say so she just kept holding her, consoling herself in return.

"Our kids, Mayank… where are they?" She asked, looking at him with teary eyes. She too sobbed looking at him with hope.

Hope that he will bring her kids to her, this very minute!

How could two mothers keep their eyes deserted on such a grave news!?

No mother can tolerate the news of happening something bad to her child!

"Please hold yourself, you both… their phones are unreachable but that may be because of the network. Mrinal is contacting Aakarsh's bodyguard… let him come…" Mayank said, consoling the ladies when he himself was freaking out from inside.

Writer's POV:-

"Leave me… where are you taking me? I said leave me." Diksha said, hitting the man's hand for the third time as she looked here and there, trying to know where he's taking her.

"LEAVE ME!" She shouted at last and the man turned to her. He had his shades on so she couldn't see his eyes.

"I'm taking you to the person you want to go to, right now. Have patience and come with me!" He said, strongly and turned again holding her hand.

She walked behind him and stopped after walking a few steps more as the person stopped near a car.

"There!" He pointed, her to go near the car in front of them. 

Diksha followed his pointing with her eyes and frowned looking at it.

Wiping her cheeks, she hiccuped and sniffed slowly while taking one step at a time. She walked slowly and slowly, nearing the pointed spot.

As soon as she reached near the car, she saw a man standing near the door of the passenger seat. The man stepped behind letting her get a clear view of the person sitting inside. 

She looked over the man's shoulder and tried to come in front, but her leg got twisted — before seeing the person — making her fall. The man standing near, acted fast and caught hold of her hand preventing her from falling.

She shrieked at his touch and was about to yell at him when someone's loud and angry grunting caught her attention. 

"Leave her hand, Leo!"
