A/N ---- Before starting the chapter, let me inform you guys that I've changed Aakarsh's current age; from '22' to '23' and he'll be turning '24' as per the original plot.

Writer's POV :-

"What....why?" Asked a shocked Krishna. The other two were no less. They were equally shocked and confused over Mrinal's admission.

"That's because there are some strict rules of the company made by the board of directors. Which we have to follow at any cost lest we shall lose the position." Mrinal said sliding a file over the centre table for others to read.

"This file has each and every rules, regulations, terms and conditions of the company. Aur apna ownership banaye rakhne ke liye ise follow karna must hai...(and we must follow these)." Mrinal said again tapping the file.

Mayank picked up the file and read the paper. His expression changed with each flipping.

"This is absurd!...aise kaise hata sakte hai...what kind of preposterous rules are these? Aur bache ne jo itne salon mein mehnat ki uska kya...apna time, effort, energy sab lagaya uski koi value nahi hai....(How can they remove him like this? And what about the person who worked so hard all these years? All those efforts, energy and time which he put into the company have no value)...?" Mayank asked getting all agitated after reading the whole document.

"I know this is utterly ridiculous but I'm completely helpless this time. Ye rules follow karne hi padenge (we have to follow these rules)... No matter how much effort he/she has put into this...they will be removed if the conditions aren't fulfilled. There's no other way." Mrinal sighed, sadly.

Mayank kept the file back on the table in irritation. No words or idea came to his mind to subside this issue.

"Are par rules hai kya humein bhi to bataiye (please tell us too, what are these rules...)?" Annapurna asked the men as she shared a look with Krishna who nodded her head in agreement.

"According to these rules the CEO must have got married till 25 years of his age in order to gain vote of confidence by the board members. Aur board members usi ko majority provide karte hai jisne sare rules follow kiye hai. (And board members provide majority to only that person who has followed each and every rules, perfectly)."

"Wo ye dekhte hai ki current CEO ya agar CEO ki position ke liye jo nominated hai; wo ek responsible insan hai ya nahi...Kisi scandal ya crime me involvement to nahi hai...ya kisi bhi tarah ki bad activities ka part to nahi hai. (They check whether the current CEO or the person who is nominated for the position; is a responsible person or not. Whether he/she has any involvement in any kind of scandal or crime!?...Or whether he/she is a part of any bad activities!?)"

"Hence the -- 'married till 25' -- condition was added in the rules for. Considering the fact that a married person with a family -- having responsibilities and seriousness -- is likely to be less involved in any such detestable activities." Mrinal explained whatever was written in the documents.

"Iska matlb...(this means)" Krishna started to speak something but was stopped by Mrinal's words.

"Iska matlb agar koi person CEO ke liye nominated hua hai ya ban chuka hai to usko apni abilities sirf apne kaam se nahi balki apni life se bhi prove karni padegi. (This means if the nominated person or the CEO --  has to prove his/her abilities not only by hard work but also by his/her life.)" Mrinal completed the sentence.

"Ye aapne pehle kyun nahi bataya Mrinal...(why didn't you inform this earlier)?" Krishna asked in frustration.

"I didn't remember it yarr...aaj humare lawyer ne phone kiya to yaad aaya...(I remembered it when our lawyer called today)." Mrinal sighed not knowing how to deal with this unexpected situation.

They were in complete silence for a few minutes thinking about all the possible ways to dodge this situation but all in vain. The fine lines of tension was clearly visible on their faces.

"I don't think they'll get ready... they just have started to get along with each other, normally..." Annapurna raised her concern.

"I agree...Krish to waise bhi pta nahi kya soch kar baitha hai upar se dono har waqt jhagadte rehte hai...kaise manayenge hum unhe... (God knows what Krish has planned moreover they keep on fighting and bickering every time...how we will make them agree with this)?" Krishna also put her concerns forward.

"Manana to padega...(we have to make them agree)... but for now let it be between us. We'll talk to them after Krish's birthday. God knows what is going to happen on that day. Krish kafi pareshan tha birthday ki baat ko lekar (Krish was quite disturbed regarding his birthday). I think it's something related to Abhay bhaiya and Neel." Mrinal said in a low tensed voice.

"Haan kyunki wo bol bhi rha tha (yeah, because he was even saying)...that this time he'll not let anything happen like that." Mayank said with a nod in agreement.

"I can't handle anymore mishaps Mrinal...I just wish everything goes well." Krishna sighed rubbing her forehead. Annapurna who was sitting next to her -- side hugged her -- providing the moral support as a true friend.

"Don't worry nothing will go wrong. I have this feeling in my heart that this time Krish and Diksha together are going to defeat every evil plannings." Mrinal said, keeping his hand over hers in assurance. She just nodded.

Vivaan entered his cabin with a scared face as if it was not his boss's but a hungry lion's den.

"Sir... it's past 6." He informed slowly. It was past Aakarsh's usual time to go home. So, Vivaan had just came to remind him.

"Hmm....I saw that...you may go home; I have a few things to sort." Aakarsh replied in a straight time eyeing Diksha who was standing there holding a file, luckily!

"Okay sir..." Vivaan said but he sounded like he wants to say something else too.

"What is it Vivaan... speak and go... don't waste the time..." Aakarsh didn't tell but said in his usual bossy strict tone.

"Sir... actually others have left but Miss Sejal is waiting for Miss Diksha. She asked me to inform her." He gulped, nervously seeing Aakarsh's hard expression, but completed his sentence, nevertheless.

His words caught Diksha's attention and she looked at her wrist watch.

She must be waiting for us to go together! Diksha thought in her mind. She glanced at Aakarsh who was looking at her actions.

"Okay...she is going till then ask her to wait and you can go home now." Aakarsh ordered to which Vivaan left after greeting him.

"You duffer, now what am I supposed to answer. Already they are going to bombard me with numerous questions...on top of that you wasted so much time of mine." As soon as Vivaan left Diksha yelled on Aakarsh who was watching her yell with a bored face.

"Everybody has left already, firstly; secondly, Sejal already knows about us being acquaintance. So stop shouting and go inform her to leave. I'm gonna drive you home today." He said packing his things up.

"You?...Why?...main uncle ke sath jati hoon...(I go with uncle)..."she frowned at his words.

"Papa had some work. He already left and asked me to take you back. So, if your interrogation is over, then go and ask her to leave it's already late." He said.

She went to meet Sejal who was waiting at her desk.

"Hey"

"Hey"

"Why You took so long...and why did he call you? What were you doing there?" Sejal questioned her as she saw her packing her stuffs.

Listening her last words, Diksha got a flashback of the incident just happened some time back in Aakarsh's cabin.

She flushed inwardly but maintained a straight composure not wanting Sejal to get any wrong idea.

"Uhh uhh..." She cleared her throat to avoid blushing fully.

"Kya? gala kharab ho gya kya tera? Andar AC Ka temperature low tha kya...waise ho bhi sakta hai...uss khadus ka dimag itna garam rehta hai ki usko Kam temperature ki zarurat bhi hai...(what? Did you get a sore throat? Was AC's temperature low inside his cabin? Well that must be...he always has a hot head that he needs low temperature to cool his mind.)" Sejal said and giggled at her own words.

"Okay you go it's already very late." She was asking her to leave when she saw Aakarsh leaving his cabin and coming towards her.

"Waiting at the lobby." He said in short while passing through her and went straight out of office.

"Wait...tum iske sath ja rahi...(are you going with him)..?" Asked a shocked Sejal.

"Yeah...and please don't ask anymore questions...I need to leave else that hot headed species will have my head as dinner tonight." Diksha said, hurriedly. Both the girls took their bags and went out.

Aakarsh's POV :-

"Yeah okay...just ask him to send me the copy of those documents...let me have a look at it... After that we can ask Papa about it..." I said to Neev who was on call with me.

His PI had found some documents that can be useful for us against Neel. And I have this guy feeling that this document will unfold many secrets.

"Okay...I had texted him... he'll send it in half an hour." Neev replied

"Alright... let's meet tomorrow... Bye.."

"Yeah I'll be there by 10. Bye."

I disconnected the call and opened the message section. I was scrolling through it when a specific message caught my attention. The text read :

*Baby someday, somewhere we are destined to meet. I'm saying it, again, don't lose hope!... Just wait for me My Life.... I'm coming tomorrow. Happy birthday Shona...*

What the hell...who send it...I was pondering over it when I heard a loud shriek behind me. And trust me when I say the scene in front of me, horrified me the most.

"Oh my God.....what the!!"
