3rd Person POV

In the I.M.P. office, Loona was seen reading "Imp Gossip" with Stolas's Grimoire open next to her, playing coaster to her drink bottle before it rolled off the table as the page it was resting on started to glow and open the portal to the Living World.

As soon as the portal opened, the sounds of men's screams were heard as a tree fell through along with a man's head before Moxxie poked out of the leaves with a buzzing chainsaw in his hand as Blitzø walked through with an axe in his hand cheering,

"Woo, that was a fuck ton of lumberjacks!"

"Still don't get why I coul'n't take some of their hea'ts I mean c'mooon, they woulda been huuuge!" Ayden came through covered in blood but sulking petulantly as she whined before Moxxie deadpanned,

"Cause you still haven't finished the hearts in the fridge from the last mission..."

"Oh... right..." Ayden switched to sulking in an 'alright fair point but I'm still not happy about it' manner before she got on all fours to shake the blood off of her.

It had been a few weeks since Ayden's secret of being a half-human, half-demon hybrid was revealed to the team, her holy water burns had healed and the basics of her story had been told to them all (dad who was most likely the demon who fucked her human mom left them as a baby, became more demon on her Friday the 13th 13th birthday, left home and wandered the streets of Hell and the Living World for a little over 2 years before meeting and joining I.M.P. while living in a burrow in the Living World) and, even though they could tell she was still leaving some things out, especially in that 2 year gap, Millie and Moxxie had urged Blitzø and Loona not to push her any further until she felt more comfortable sharing the potentially troubling parts of her past.

She'd been staying with Millie and Moxxie at their apartment as a result and, while she tried to help out around the house to show her gratitude, they kept reminding her it could be temporary if she wanted to eventually get her own place but they were happy to help out for as long as she needed it.

"AHHH! I'm still so jazzed up!" Millie came crawling through the portal on all fours like a crab with an axe in her mouth before she yelled excitedly breaking the axe in half with her bare hands, Ayden barely ducked out of the way of the flying pieces when she threw them.

"Well you better stay jazzed, babe." Moxxie pointed some finger guns at her before asking, "Because, guess where I'm taking you tonight?

"Don't you dare finish a filthy pun in my presence Moxxie." Blitzø cut in, making Moxxie frown at being interrupted before announcing, "Besides, drinks are on me tonight. Let's hit up the new dive down the street, even you Kid."

"Fuck yeah!" Ayden fist-pumped as she cheered.

"No!" Moxxie yelled before pointing out, "OK, 1) Ayden is still a minor and we've already let the drinking thing pass far too many times."

"W's only twice..." Ayden deadpanned with her arms crossed.

"And 2) It's our one-year marriage anniversary. So, I'm taking Millie to Ozzie's in the Lust Ring!"

At that, Millie squealed excitedly and her eyes sparkled as she gasped and exclaimed,

"Haah! Ozzie's?! No way! That place is always booked!"

"Yeah, well I've been planning it for quite a while..." Moxxie bragged a bit bashfully before Millie jumped on him in a hug as she cried out lovingly,

"~Moxxie!~"

She kissed his face a few times before they started to French kiss each other, on the verge of full-on making out on the floor, if Blitzø hadn't groaned out,

"Ugh, can you two not?"

"Please!" Ayden practically begged with her paw over her eyes.

"I'm sorry, sir, Ayden." Moxxie spoke a bit out of breath from the close make-out sesh before suggesting, "Maybe another time?"

"No, it's fine! I-I can come with the two of you, help you celebrate your boring as fuck monogamy." Blitzø insisted while making a cutesy face in slight mocking that made Ayden raise an eyebrow and mentally question why he was so insistent on going with them.

"Uh, no. The reservation is for us." Moxxie pointed out but Blitzø just kept agreeing,

"Uh huh!"

"Just us."

"Mhm!"

"Without you there. Explicitly without you there."

"I'll wear something nice. It's a big deal after all." Blitzø hugged the two of them tightly before waving as he left the room whistling happily, "See you lovebugs later!"

Once he left the room, Moxxie growled irritated before Millie reassured him,

"Relax, sweetie, don't let him get to you today. Let's just go home and... clean this blood off."

She started stroking his chest, making him blush, before she started stroking lower and lower while making a seductive purring sound until Moxxie looked absolutely whipped.

"I'll just stick 'round here if this is goin' where I think it is..." Ayden commented with a slight grimace.

"Alrighty then, got your key?" Millie questioned.

"Right here." Ayden patted her satchel's side pocket where a small jingle was heard, reassuring the couple as Moxxie told her,

"Don't stay out too late and let us know when you make it back to the apartment."

"Byyyeee!" Millie waved before the two of them left the office as well and Ayden made her way over to the couch to flop down and pull out her phone to check her Sinstagram, discovering the appeal of it after Via helped her set up her account before a message from her dinged, reminding her of her lesson with her dad tomorrow.

There was a few minutes of silence since it was just Loona and Ayden in the room before Loona spoke up,

"Hey?"

"Yeh?" Ayden bent her head backward over the armrest to look at Loona as she asked hesitantly,

"If you don't have anything y'know planned for tonight, you maybe wanna come with me to a party a friend invited me to?"

"Is it that hellhound guy who wo'ks fer Verosika we all met a while back?"

"...Maybe..."

"C'mon how many o'her friends do ya got?" Ayden asked with a raised eyebrow at Loona's attempt to hide that fact.

"Yes it's from Tex, you in or not?" Loona snapped a bit impatiently at Ayden's snarkiness that rivaled even her own.

"Eh su'e why not? Su'e beats stickin' 'round here." Ayden shrugged before flipping herself right-side up again.

"I was gonna head back to my place to change real quick and maybe catch a taxi there if you wanna come with." Loona put her magazine down, putting it away with Stolas's Grimoire before standing to head out with Ayden following as they walked back to her apartment.

"Eh 'm already ready." Ayden spoke in an airy tone as she stretched her arms up before Loona looked at her with a raised brow before questioning,

"You're kidding right?"

"What's wrong wi'h my getup?" Ayden asked as she looked down at herself before Loona pointed out,

"You wear it everyday and you still haven't fixed those tears from that cowboy cockhead."

"Oh yeh..." Ayden picked at the tear in the side of her top, "Been meaning to ask Moxxie if he could fix'em..." Right before she realized and exclaimed in disbelief, "Wait have you all been able ta see my bra this whole time?!"

"Yep." Loona answered simply before noticing Ayden's frozen look of embarrassed horror and rolled her eyes to remind her impatiently, "Oh calm your tits, it's not like any pedos'd be able to get close to you anyway."

"Huh?" Ayden looked at her questioningly causing Loona to groan while pinching the bridge of her nose,

"You kill jackasses for a living? How the fuck do you keep forgetting that?"

"Cause I wasn't always like that...?" Ayden reminded her right before they arrived outside of her apartment.

"Anyway!" Loona tried to steer the conversation back to before as she offered when they arrived at the apartment she lived in with Blitzø, "Here, I'll let you borrow some of my clothes."

They went to her room, the only room, and she rummaged through her closet to look for stuff that would fit Ayden while also looking for a dress for herself.

"Here." Loona tossed her some clothes she pulled from a pile on the floor and Ayden caught it, giving it a deep questionable sniff, her eyes lighting up a grayish pink for a second, before Loona snarked,

"They're clean..."

So a short while later Ayden was dressed in a dark gray halter crop top with netting shoulders and arm straps, lighter gray shorts with a half skirt and a buckle loop around her left thigh, with some torn and distressed gray stockings that kept her toes exposed.

Loona had chosen a reddish magenta short dress with a sweetheart neckline and an upside-down pentagram, dark gray stockings, and kept her signature spiked choker on.

Loona was looking for some accessories to let Ayden borrow when she noticed something,

"Just noticed, your cuff thingy's off?"

"Oh yeh..." Ayden rubbed her left wrist where her shackle normally was before explaining, "Moxxie helped lock pick it off so I can take it off wheneva I want, y'know sta't move on from the past o' whatever..."

"Hmm." Loona hummed thoughtfully before pointing to her choker and asking, "Wanna just leave that here then?"

Ayden hesitated looking down at where her paw rested against the piece of jewelry before Loona pointed out,

"It wouldn't kill you to leave it behind for one night."

"Yeh.. I guess so..." Ayden unclipped it from her neck and left it on Loona's dresser with her satchel before noting,

"An' the weapons pr'bably too, right?"

"Uhh yeah?"

Ayden sighed before remembering and rummaging through her satchel looking for something, finding the folded piece of glossy paper and putting it in her pocket before continuing her search for what she was originally looking for.

"The'e ya a'e..." She pulled out the Aroace heart rhinestone bracelet she'd gotten with Via during their last hangout and slid it on her wrist before noticing the white scar marks and asking Loona as she pulled out a garter belt with a silver pentagram and a purple and black x-laced cuff bracelet to lend her,

"Hey ya got any makeup o' somethin' that coul' hide these...?"

"I mean I might?" Loona side shrugged as she handed her the accessories to put on before pulling out and sorting through a box full of goth-themed color palettes and makeup before finding one that included dark brown shades to give to her,

"Here."

"Thanks." Ayden started using the brushes and sponges to cover up the scars on her thinly furred skin with makeup once she laced the garter belt around her right thigh and placed the cuff bracelet on the end of her tail.

"Any reason you wanna hide them so badly?" Loona asked as she started brushing and doing her hair and Ayden frowned before answering,

"Not really... jus' don't need strangers askin' me 'bout'em..."

"Alright fair enough..." Loona accepted that reason with a light shrug before moving on to do her own makeup and lending Ayden her brush to tame her hair.

Once they were both done putting the finishing touches on their outfits, they both headed back down to the street where Loona hailed a taxi, told the driver they were heading to an address in the Gluttony Ring, and, after getting there faster than they thought and her mini puke sesh, Ayden asked nervously,

"The'e anythin' I should know b'fore gettin' the'e?"

"Eh not really.. just don't be expecting me to babysit you the whole time we're there."

"Woul'n't 'xpect anythin' less..." Ayden lightly snarked before her ear twitched as Loona's phone buzzed and looked over to see that Blitzø was trying to call her but she declined it.

"Why're ya so ha'd on him?" Ayden questioned but Loona was saved from having to answer when the driver asked them as the taxi stopped,

"You want me to drop you both off here?"

"Oh! Uh! yeah. Yeah, this looks right. I, uh... haven't been here before." Loona stuttered a bit before she and Ayden climbed out onto the curb outside a large mansion that looked like a modern building combined with a beehive where music could be heard thumping inside and hellhounds and imps were seen partying around.

As Loona messaged Tex, Ayden started fiddling with her borrowed clothes with the paw on her hip while using her other paw to rub her ear anxiously as she expressed,

"Now 'm not so sure 'bout this..."

"It'll be fine..." Loona told her unconvincingly as she looked around nervously too.

"Then why're you nervo-Aww crap!" She asked before realizing she accidentally wiped off the makeup that was hiding her ear scars before a voice called out,

"Loo-naaa!" Revealing that Tex had arrived to greet them with a friendly wave, "Hey, girl! Glad you could make it!"

"Tex! Yeah, hey. Thanks for inviting me." Loona thanked him before introducing Ayden, "Hope it's alright I brought my friend Ayden."

"Heya." Ayden gave a friendly wave despite her mixed feelings of increased nervousness at being a cat in a mostly-hound-filled party as they walked into the mansion and touched that Loona considered her a friend since they'd always seemed to have more of a "frenemies" relationship.

*Meow!* *Meow!* *Meow!*

Her phone went off and she held it up to her ear holding up a finger to signal to give her a minute as she stayed outside to answer,

"Blitzø? What the fuck do ya want?"

*Hey Triple A, wanna help me spy on M&M on their date?*

"Ya mean their date at a club in the Lust Ring? Yeehhh I'mma pass this time, 'sides cantcha let'em have one date whe'e you're not tryin' ta stalkin'em?"

*HA! I think you already know the answer to that Kid. I'll try someone else then, sucks for you!*

Ayden hung up without another word, sighing frustrated with her fingers pinching the bridge of her nose.

Blitzø had always stalked Millie and Moxxie, sometimes bringing her with him and she did it because it was fun for her, a thrill to sneak around without anybody knowing she was there after all the times she'd been "found" and hurt, but for Blitzø there was something more to it, she knew it but he always denied it whenever she'd asked why he liked doing it.

Since finding out she'd been homeless and realizing that's why he was never able to stalk her at home, he'd been acting a lot more interested in what she was up to nowadays and there were times when she found him hiding out in M&M's house when they weren't there and she was.

Before Ayden could think about it anymore, she pocketed her phone and headed inside finding Loona within a minute as she was talking to a trio of valley girl hellhounds, a poodle, a dalmatian, and a labrador, as the poodle one, Vikki, sounded to be gossiping in a snooty tone,

"Not fetch!"

Just before she could continue, Loona popped over and tried to join in nervously,

"Ha, ha, ha, yeah! Like, that happens all the time. Aha...aha..."

"And she said I looked desp'rate when I do that...?" Ayden muttered to herself as she went to stand slightly behind Loona as Vikki questioned,

"Oh-em-gee. Loona? 'Lunatic Luna?' That you?"

"Uh, yeah. It's Loona... yeah." Loona looked away while her tail came to wrap around herself, a rare display of vulnerability that had Ayden's protective instincts flaring up, especially with Vikki's next taunt,

"Wow. I can't believe you're showing up to another party. I mean, do you even remember the last one?"

"I'm sure you'll remind me." Loona growled through gritted teeth.

"Yeah, this?" Vikki was all too eager to pull out her phone and show the picture of Loona vomiting she had, "This you, right?"

"Why do you still have that?" Loona growled angrily.

"It brings me joy. You know, you're supposed to keep things that bring you joy."

Loona growled even more at her before Ayden stepped in front of her to mock back at Vikki,

"Last I check'd 'joyful' things don't include somethin' that could be seen as a gross fetish for some puffed up poodle with nothin' better ta do with her life than pickin' on o'hers."

Loona nearly choked on a chuckle before Vikki and her friends scrunched up their faces in disgust as Vikki sneered,

"Ugh who invited the stray kitty? I wouldn't be surprised if she leaves here in a doggie bag."

Vikki's two friends started laughing in a jeering manner as Vikki emphasized,

"Get it? Doggie bag!"

"Grrr!"

"Haaah!"

Loona and Ayden were now growling and hissing causing Vikki to judge them,

"Wow, you're both being really negative. Your auras are being really aggressive right now."

"Oh, yeah? Well, maybe it's 'cus I'm in the presence of a massive bitch!" Loona yelled at her and the word "bitch" seemed to echo throughout the party making people stop and gasp.

"Oh, my dog!" Vikki feigned being offended as she "fainted" back into both her friends' arms, "Wow!"

"What? Is that not an okay thing to say? Like, come on, it's true!" Loona tried to argue.

"You can't say that." A hellhound in the background told her and Loona's ears drooped down in defeat while Ayden sighed with a paw to her face before Tex came back with three cups in his hands as he asked in confusion,

"Did I miss anything?"

"No, no, no! No, nothing. Ahem No." Loona tried to cover up her faux pas by fake smiling and awkwardly clearing her throat as she and Ayden took their drinks with Ayden side-whispering to Loona while referring to the drink in her paws,

"We don' tell Mills or Mox 'bout this..."

"Fine... but you owe me one." She sighed.

*Haha! How're my dirty bitches tonight?* A voice called out and was heard from all over the hive as people started rushing towards the center of the building.

"Oh but they c'n say it?" Ayden snarked before downing her drink, figuring she'd need it to handle the crowd of hellhounds and imps they were walking towards.

Seeing Vikki pass by, Ayden smirked as she used her tail to discreetly grab her phone from her pocket, opened it to find Loona's photo, and deleted it from the phone and the trash as she mocked,

"Aaaaand buh byeeee.."

Before sneakily slipping it back into her pocket as Tex was leading her and Loona before the voice announced, confirming her identity,

*Awooh, awooh! You ready to party with the Queen Bee of Glu-tto-ny? Come on.*

Once they got closer to the center of the room where a giant disco ball was hanging from the ceiling, they all looked over to see the silhouette of "Queen Bee," a demon with four arms, a wild mane of hair, antennae sporting from her ears, tiny wings on her back, and lava lamp-like flowing hair and tail as she declared while twirling around the disco ball to hype up the partygoers,

"Hell, yeah! 'Cus the honey is flowin' tonight! And this bitch is about to get fuckin' wild! Let's get it started!"

Everyone cheered as the start to a song sounded,

♫ Hey! I'm whatchu need, I'm whatchu want ♫

♫ I got it all, a carnivale, I'll bring you up, I'll take you down ♫

Bee flew around the disco ball and over the crowd before landing on the ground to dance among the partygoers before flying back up.

In the middle of the chorus, Bee summoned a bowl of cotton candy and threw it to the crowd, hyping up everyone even more with the sugar rush, including Ayden as she stuffed a large puff into her mouth and gave a small whoop.

Bee landed at the top of some stairs before descending to approach the three hellhounds waiting excitedly at the bottom.

She shoved a slice of cake into one of the hound's mouths before giving the other a piece of pie.

She spun and posed in front of her seal for her Ring as the lights turned off and the room took on a neon ambiance as she continued flying around and singing,

She dove down and disappeared under the floor into some honey as the room changed colors again to become a golden shining atmosphere.

When she came back up, she flicked her head and hair back as the floating honey shone more golden light into the room leaving even Loona mesmerized before Bee sat atop the disco ball as people started thumping or bopping along with the beat.

"Ya hungry? Take a bite!" Bee asked a hellhound who was about to eat a taco when she enlarged it and shoved it into his mouth,

At another table, she enlarges the drinks of two hellhounds and pours them down their throats leaving them completely hammered.

"Your Queen Bee brings the sweet stuff, so keep making me that motherfucking honey! Yeah, keep it comin'!"

Bee enlarged a punch bowl and scooped up a hellhound with her tail to throw him into it as three others joined him and swam around with trippy looks in their eyes and pink foam coming out of their mouths.

Loona mouthed "what the fuck" as Bee started going around giving cotton candy cones to different people and making candy and sweets rain from her hands that Ayden caught when she held her paws out just as Tex was eating a cotton candy cone and smiling down at Loona before she looked away blushing.

For the finale, Bee summoned streams of honey from under the floor and swirled them all around the room as she danced on the pole of the disco ball.

Bee finished up her song in a shower of fireworks and confetti that exploded from the honey streams that coalesced around her and everyone cheered except Loona as she shook off all the cotton candy that had stuck to her, some of it flying into Tex and Ayden's faces, that she ate right away.

As Tex was smiling down at Loona and she was smiling back Bee whooped as she came down to them,

"Awooh, awooh! Vortex!" She flew down to hug his arm before cheering, "This party is buzzin' now! Fuck!"

Before landing on the ground and dusting herself off as she commented,

"I feel like I went a little too hard on the confetti this time, though. I have like a rainbow in my vagina right now." Bee made a glittery rainbow appear between her hands to emphasize her point.

Ayden and Loona were giving her matching "WTF" faces, a little less intense on Ayden's part, when she noticed them there and asked Tex,

"Oh, hey! Is this the sweet pup you told me about?"

"Excuse me?" Loona snapped in an offended tone but Bee didn't seem to notice as she enthused,

"She's a fucking cutie! But not as much as this little cutie right here!" She leaned down to smoosh Ayden's face between her two lower arms as her two upper arms petted around her hair and ears as she gushed, "~What's your name you fiery little fuzzball?~"

"Ayden." She introduced herself from between her smooshed face before she was saved by Tex gently pulling her away while chiding,

"Beeee... personal space.."

"Rightrightright, sorry 'bout that." Bee pulled away with a sheepish smile and Ayden fixed her hair back before Bee noticed her bracelet and complimented it,

"Nice bracelet." Pulling her close again with her left arms while her right arms pointed as she whispered, "If you're not looking for that kind of fun tonight I recommend staying away from those groups, they teeeend to get a little.. frisky while tipsy OK?"

She pointed out a few groups that were seen making out or ducking behind corners or into rooms and lounges for some... private fun.

"Oh yeh thanks..." Ayden thanked her sincerely for the tip.

"Anyways!" Bee turned to direct to them both before giggling, "Where've you been hiding, girls? Heheh!"

"Is there something funny?" Loona growled and Bee just responded with a perky,

"Nah, I'm just really high on all this tasty energy right now." Bee motioned over to the party before expressing with a genuine smile, "Tex says you don't get invited out much. I hope this itty-bitty get-together can serve as a fun first time."

Loona looked behind her as a hellhound slid down the banister of a staircase but hit his crotch against the decorative point and fell to the ground in pain.

"Tsss..."

"Mm-hmm..."

Ayden winced in sympathy while Loona rolled her eyes as Bee complained,

"I would've thrown a bigger one, but I couldn't convince Belphegor to let me break into her stash of party drugs. So fucking lame! I mean, I usually just steal them, but Bel changed the locks."

"Eh those thin's ain't so ha'd ta pick." Ayden shrugged nonchalantly before holding up the one claw she didn't chew on specifically for lockpicking purposes.

"Well look at you ~Ms. Cat Burglar~ I might hafta ask for your help for next rager's supply." Bee shook her head from side to side sassily before joking good-heartedly which made Ayden smile a bit bashfully.

"Bel says I'm a total 'jackass' for trying." Bee made quotations with one of her arms while her other ones summoned a beer bottle to grab before she expressed, "But, hey... I'm proud to be a total jackass."

Before chugging the bottle in a few gulps and tossing it away as Tex introduced,

"Heh. Anyway, yeah, Bee, this is Loona. And, Loona, this is my girlfriend, Bee."

Hugging her close as she gave him a loving smile before saying,

"Nice to meetcha, bitches!"

"Oh, this is... she's hot." Loona blurted out before her eyes snapped open when she realized she said the last part out loud and Ayden had to suppress a snort.

"Ha! Holy shit! Okay. Tex, you didn't tell me she was hilarious. That's so funny." Bee laughed a bit at Loona's reaction as she sighed,

"Right..."

"I love that that's the first thing you say to me. You don't give a shit how freaky you come off, and that's fucking beautiful."

Bee declared before moving to side-hug Loona as she added,

"You're my new favorite person."

"Am I, though?" Loona asked with a fake smile on her face before Bee announced,

"Yeah, bitch!" She laughed until she saw Loona's unsure face and assured her while turning her face to face her, "No, really. Reminds me of the time I saw Satan without a shirt on."

Tex turned his head toward her, surprised at that piece of info as she went on to describe the experience before Ayden asked him,

"Ya really manag'd to land the Queen o' Gluttony?"

"Yeah we don't let labels like that come between us." Tex told her and she dipped her head in respect before their attentions were directed back as Bee announced excitedly,

"Anyway, girls, you both have a good time tonight. Get some sweets, get some eats. Drink it, tear it, fuck it up!"

"Way ahead o' ya!" Ayden decided to hit the snack bar again, stuffing her face with as many different sweets as she could get her paws on, pupils exploding with the amount of sugar she was eating.

"Whoo!" She heard Bee vaguely cheer before going to mingle with the other partygoers, unbeknownst to her that Loona was leaving without her.

As she kept stuffing her face with different sweets, a silvery voice jokingly scolded from one side of Ayden,

"Whoa there, save some for the rest of us."

Making her freeze before she looked over with her mouth stuffed with a cupcake to see a hellhound with an imp at their side in a couple hug as they both were serving themselves some food.

The hellhound was a German shepherd wearing a frayed-edge denim vest over a sleeveless tank top and slightly baggy ripped jeans that let their tail hang out with a dark purple beanie over their curly hair a couple of pins and buttons were attached to their vest including Nonbinary and Pansexual flags, a They/Them pronoun pin, an "I love my Boo" button with a little bow-wearing ghost, "My Level of Sarcasm Depends on Your Level of Stupidity" button, and a glittery blue crescent moon pin.

The imp was wearing a large black rock band t-shirt that hung off her shoulders where hot pink straps were hooked around her shoulders with a She/Her trans flag pronoun pin pinned on while she wore pink leggings decorated with black hearts and bats tucking into black calf boots and her inky yet pink-streaked pixie cut hair curled around her large-banded horns that curved slightly backward and multiple piercings on her heart-tipped tail.

Ayden downed the cupcake in one swallow before expressing with her ears drooping at the large hellhound in front of her,

"*Gulp* So'y..."

"Nah it's good." The imp spoke with a feminine gravelly voice, "I'm Remi, this is my partner Alex, don't worry they wouldn't hurt a fly."

"Hey." Ayden relaxed just a tad more before Remi picked and held out a brownie topped with whipped cream offering,

"You tried these triple surprise brownies yet?"

"We promise they're not spiked." Alex guaranteed her with a raised paw at their side.

Ayden took the brownie, giving it a subtle confirmatory sniff, before taking a bite out of it as chocolate, caramel, and cream filled her mouth and her pupils dilated even more than physically possible as she stuffed the rest in and spoke muffled,

"Mph'at's so mphgood!"

Making Alex and Remi chuckle a bit before Remi started to say,

"I've never seen-"

"A hellcat like me?" Ayden cut in, sure she knew what she was about to say, but was surprised when Remi told her,

"No, I've never seen someone eat so many sweets without hurling."

"Pft! I could eat waaay mo'e if I wanted to." Ayden bragged a bit before she perked up as she introduced herself, "Oh! I'm Ayden by the way, with a y."

"This your first time at one of Bee's parties?" Remi asked as she and Alex shared a cookie and Ayden chuckled a bit before answering,

"It's mah first time at a pa'ty in years."

"What?! No way!" Remi waved a hand in disbelief.

"Yeah my uh.. mum neva let me out much when I was younga.."

"We get that.." Alex empathized as they and Remi smiled at each other sadly before she added,

"Yeah... our rents didn't really try to understand us and either kicked us out or ignored us til we left..."

Ayden's ears had folded downwards in sadness for hearing that before they jolted back up as she heard the familiar sound of an engine revving in the distance and tried to look out the entrance but couldn't because of the people blocking it.

'Nah it coul'n't be...'

"The 'o' is silent, asshole!"

'OK I guess it could be...'

"What the...? You heard that too right?" Alex asked but Ayden didn't answer as she tried to tune her hearing to listen outside but couldn't focus because of the partying around her before Remi asked,

"Something wrong?"

"I-I'll be back..." Ayden wove her way through the partygoers back towards the entrance.

When she got back outside she saw Loona sitting next to Blitzø in the I.M.P. van as an imp and hellhound were standing by the passenger window just before Loona stepped out of the front seat and Ayden asked incredulously with her paws on her hips,

"Were you 'bout ta leave without me?!"

"Uhhh nooo...?" Loona questioned, slightly embarrassed that she'd been caught as the imp and hellhound left, sensing the tension between the two of them.

Just as Ayden was about to yell at Loona-

"~Well well well... Do my eyes deceive me?~"

Her fur stood on end as a chill ran down her spine at the voice that came from a group that appeared from around the van: two hellhounds and a pair of succubus and incubus twins.

"I thought that was you Ally! Where've you been girl?!" The tall papillon hellhound who seemed to be the leader of the little squad walked up to Ayden and pulled on her cheek but she didn't snap back and made a nervous noise instead,

"Nnnn..."

"Ugh! We have to catch up more inside!" The shorter pomeranian hellhound came up and slung an arm around Ayden's neck before twirling her out into the arms of the incubus and succubus, all wearing preppy outfits that had punky twists to them, as they caught her with an arm around her shoulder and her waist from each of them before they chorused,

"~See ya in there!~"

Before they all left to head into the party, leaving Ayden quaking in place with her tail wrapping around her leg until Loona spoke up asking as Blitzø climbed out of the van to join them,

"Hey you uh.. OK? You look like you're about to piss yourself."

"...I can't believe they're here..." Ayden muttered fearfully, a new and rare emotion for Loona and Blitzø to hear from her so Loona asked cautiously,

"Who?"

"Hannah, Lucy, Jaime, and Jamie! They're the ones who-..." Ayden cut herself off but her grabbing onto her arm scratch scars and her knees turning inwards to each other were all they needed to see before Loona spoke,

"Woah they.. did all that stuff to you...?"

"What stuff?" Blitzø asked, completely out of the loop that Loona and Ayden seemed to have with each other.

"I gotta get outta here!" Ayden was about to run past them in the direction of the van when Loona grabbed her by both shoulders lifting her off the ground as she argued,

"No! You are going to stay!"

Plopping her back onto the ground to assert,

"If you leave, you're letting her win!"

"She's got a point y'know." Blitzø added poking her nose and Ayden was too busy looking conflicted to snap at Blitzø's hand, which oddly smelled like owl, before Loona practically ordered her,

"You are going to go back into that party and you're going to show her she's got no more power over you."

Ayden brought both paws down to her sides from where they had been raised to where her choker would normally be, both of them clenched into fists, as she took a deep breath to steel herself before nodding, still with a bit of fear in her eyes, before walking back toward the party as Blitzø reminded his daughter,

"Remember Loona; just one drink."

A short while later, Blitzø was chugging from a keg through a tube while two other guests were holding him upside down by the legs while Loona, Ayden, Remi, Alex, and every other partygoer cheered him on,

"Blitzø! Blitzø! Blitzø! Blitzø!"

When he finished, he flipped over back onto his feet holding his arms out as he called out in triumph,

"Hah!"

"AWWWOOOO!" Every hellhound, even Loona, howled and Ayden whooped as Blitzø wiped his mouth and shouted,

"Ha haaa! That was nothing, bitch! Gimme a real challenge!"

Bee suddenly appeared behind him holding a chicken leg in one of her arms as she challenged,

"Oh, yeah? Wanna fucks with the big bitch, imp boy? I got a challenge for ya."

Sticking the chicken leg into her mouth as Vikki derided,

"Oh, he's gonna die."

"Aaaaalright, let's do this!" Tex announced as he brought over two large beehive-shaped kegs and introduced the challenge, "From Bee's personal supply, the hardest shit there is."

As Blitzø did some stretches, Tex went up to him to ask in an encouraging tone,

"You ready, my man?"

"Oh, born ready!" Blitzø declared before he tried in a frenzy to open one of the kegs with his bare hands before yelling, "Bring it, barky! I will drink you under this fucking table, you have no idea what kind of night I've had!"

Something about how Blitzø said that rubbed Ayden the wrong way before Bee used her powers to lift the kegs, separate them, and flip them around as tubes stretched out to each challenger as Bee sang her own praises,

"All right, shit talker, but there hasn't been a soul yet who can beat me at my own game. So, you better bring the fire, baby."

"Oooooh, is Queen Bee too scared to lose to a little imp like me?"

"Oh, okay. Let's get it on, you little bastard!" Bee glared fiercely before Tex raised his arm and made a cutting motion to signal for them to start so Bee and Blitzø started slurping through the tubes.

"Come on, Blitzø! Fuck her up! You can do it!" Loona cheered him on and Blitzø ripped off the tube nozzle before raising the keg and pouring the whole thing in his mouth to chug it, surprising everybody, even Bee, before he finished and climbed on top of the keg to proclaim,

"Who's the queen now?!"

"Yeah! That's my DAD!" Loona cheered proudly as she shook a nearby hellhound and Ayden whooped with Remi and Alex cheering as well,

"WHOOHOOOO!"

"Fuck yeah!"

"Get it queen!"

"Well, fuck me! That's a first." Bee was taking losing gracefully as she admitted, "I haven't had a first in a while. That was magical, seriously, impressive. I tip my crown to you, imp boy." She bowed before Blitzø as she spoke, "Respect."

Howling again to rally cheers for Blitzø before he started swaying and almost fell to the ground with Bee about to catch him when he was caught and raised up into the air by other partygoers as he drunkenly celebrated his victory.

Ayden was watching with slight concern and noticed that Bee and Tex also had concerned looks on their faces before Remi and Alex started asking her about how she knew Blitzø and figured he'd be alright for a little bit at least.

A short while later, Ayden was having a good time hanging out with Remi and Alex, telling them both about her experiences with I.M.P. as their youngest member, not going into too much detail about anything else,

"You're able to travel to the Living World with a magic book cause your boss bangs the prince who owns it?" Remi questioned, trying to make sure she had it right.

"'at's the gist of it, yeh..." Ayden shrugged as she downed another cup of punch before Alex asked,

"Humans really that dense to try to burn you all at a stake?"

"Ohhhh yeaahh!" Ayden dragged out in amusement, about to tell them about some other missions she'd been on, when someone bumped into her from behind and she spilled some of her punch on her shirt and shorts staining the gray a pinkish red.

"Aww shite! This's Loona's she's gonna kill me..." Ayden wiped furiously at the stain but it didn't do anything.

"Bathrooms are on the second level, want us to show you the way?" Remi asked but Ayden told her,

"Nah 't's alright I'll be back."

Before she put her cup down and headed toward the stairs to find the bathroom.

Just as she was weaving her way through the crowd to get to the bathrooms, she was picked up on both sides by her arms and a hand was put to her mouth to keep her quiet even as she started struggling and trying to yell through the hands as she was brought right over to a mini lounge in the corner of the mansion Bee had warned her about.

The hands let her go and she got into a fight position with a hiss as she turned to see that it was the twins, Jaime and Jamie, in Hannah's group who'd dragged her there.

"HSSS!"

"Ally! There you are!" Hannah called out and Ayden whipped around to see her sitting there with Lucy while Jaime and Jamie guarded the exit.

"It's Ayden now. Whaddya want Hannah?" Ayden hissed out, trying to focus on being more annoyed than scared.

"Yeesh so aggressive. If I didn't know any better, I'd think you're not happy to see us." Hannah mock pouted as she opened up a bottle of beer with her claws and took a sip.

"Cause 'm not..." Ayden muttered loudly as she crossed her arms, making her bracelet jingle a bit that caught their attention as Lucy got up and commented in disdain,

"Ugh still pretending to be a funless prude?"

Flicking a claw at the Aroace heart on her bracelet making Ayden snap at her before practically growling,

"I was always a 'prude' you just still don't unde'stand what it really means."

"Pft HAHAHAHA!" The four of them burst out laughing with Jaime and Jamie commenting,

"Yeah right.."

"Suuure..."

Before Hannah drawled out while finishing up her beer and walking up to her, stopping inches away from her,

"~C'mooon~ Don't you remember all the fun we used to have?"

"No... I remember you usin' me and then tossin' me 'way for dead when ya went too fa'!" Ayden spat in her face as she felt her paws starting to heat up but tried not to let them out... yet...

"Well you must be remembering wrong.. ~we always took such great care of you.~" Hannah pulled away slightly feigning insult before moving to brush a paw against Ayden's cheek when she suddenly slapped it away while shouting,

"STOP!"

Surprising the four of them as she continued,

"After you left me dyin', I kept runnin'... hidin'... so afraid you'd find me and do Satan-knows-what to me like ya used to... so I stay'd alone... di'n't let 'nyone in... til I met o'hers who reminded me that I shoul'n't hafta rely on people who use me and make me feel like 'm nothin' on my own and that 'm not the same sca'ed kid I used ta be..."

She let a paw brush against her bracelet and on her shorts before declaring determinedly,

"So I'm leavin' and if you slaggers eve' come nea' me again, you'll see jus' how good a job I do at killin' people now..."

Ayden turned to shove past Lucy, about to make it to the exit past the twins when they saw Hannah give me a subtle grim nod and they nodded back before Jamie pulled out a spray bottle and squirted it in Ayden's face a few times and Jaime gave her a slight shove backward.

*PSH* *PSH* *PSH*

"Bleh!" Ayden stumbled backward as whatever liquid had been in the bottle stung her eyes and suddenly it felt as if her muscles had been over-tenderized.

She had fallen on her butt trying to wipe her eyes clear when she felt someone pinning her to the floor by straddling her waist under them and a rough hand grabbed both her wrists to pin them to the floor over her head and Ayden blinked her eyes to see Hannah on top of her.

"Haah!" Ayden hissed as her tail lashed out to try to smack Hannah away, but Lucy caught it and pulled it taut while pinning it to the floor making a jolt of pain shoot through her and her attempts at kicking them away only made the twins come over to grab each of her legs to hold them still.

"Maybe you've forgotten, little pussycat..." Hannah tightened her grip on her wrists with each emphasis, making Ayden wince each time until her bracelet snapped with the heart and little beads scattering as she berated her, "But you are nothing without us... we can do whatever we want with you and you take it..."

"Grrr..." Ayden growled as Hannah's left hand moved to trace over her arm where the scratch scars were hidden under the makeup before she suggested viciously,

"After all, my mark is still on you... despite you trying to hide it... or maybe I should give you a new one to remind you who you belong to..."

"NO-MPH!" Ayden's scream was muffled by Hannah covering her mouth while forcibly turning her head to the side giving her a clear view of her neck as she leaned down with her teeth bared.

Just as Ayden could feel the fangs ghosting over her skin, inches from penetrating, a yell sounded,

"HEY! That's enough!"

Making them all look over to see Bee standing at the entrance with Text by her side as they were both growling and glaring menacingly at Hannah and her crew before Bee growled,

"I sure as Hell will not allow this kind of action at this party. Now either you all leave on your own or I'm gonna hafta make you leave!"

Bee's eyes fully turned red and her glowing mane and tail both flashed yellow in warning of the power she was about to unleash that seemed to make Lucy, Jaime, and Jamie nervous but Hannah looked more or less indifferent to it.

A few tense seconds later, Hannah got off of Ayden, shoving her head back to the floor, as she spoke with fake respect,

"Of course your Majesty..."

Before she beckoned for her crew to follow her out, stopping to subtly point to Ayden while hooking a thumb to herself in the universal sign of 'you're mine.'

Ayden scoffed but she was still shaking slightly from what just almost happened as Tex asked her,

"Hey you doin' OK?"

And she brushed it off with a brusque,

"I'll be fine..." She shakily stood up to dust herself off, her muscles still feeling a bit like slightly frozen jello, before asking Bee, "How'd ya know?"

"I can taste the flavors of people and their emotions, I tasted a lot of libido which usually isn't anything real concerning, but when I tasted the mix of dominance and.. fear.. I knew something was wrong..." Bee explained, the worried look never leaving her face.

"Oh..."

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that..." Bee told her in a genuine tone as she placed one of her upper arms on her shoulder but Ayden didn't answer and instead pulled away to kneel down and pick up the heart and as many of the beads as she could find, hoping that, even if it was scattered and some pieces were missing, it was still fixable...

"Look.. I really don't wanna add any more trouble to your plate, especially after that..." Bee spoke gently with a hint of remorse that made Ayden look at her before she asked, "But have you seen Loona? Her dad's goin' a little... overboard."

"Whaddya mean?"

"He's still drinking even after the challenge and he's been shagging pretty much every person he sees."

"Yeah 'm jus' hearin' Blitzø bein' Blitzø." Ayden tried to shrug that off as normal but Bee became insistent as she told her,

"Look I'd explain more but we just really need to find Loona.."

"I got this." Ayden closed her eyes and took a deep sniff before opening her eyes back up to reveal they had lit up a grayish pink for a second before motioning for Bee and Tex to follow her,

"This way."

Searching through the party until they found Loona chatting and laughing with a few other hellhounds, a sight that made Ayden feel simultaneously glad and mad.

Tex tapped Loona's shoulder to get her attention and told her in an unsure tone,

"Hey, Loon. I don't mean to be a buzzkill here. But, your uh, dad... guy dude... Is um... He's seeming a bit..."

"Out of control, like... A mess." Bee popped up next to him to add in before he questioned,

"Yeah, it's worrisome. You wanna maybe check on him or somethin'?"

"What!? No!" Loona tried to deny and brush it off by assuring them, "No, Blitzø is fine. He's always a mess, trust me."

"'At's what I told'em but..." Ayden started to agree with her but trailed off as Bee tried to explain,

"Look, honeys. I see people having fun and getting fucked up aaall the time. But, he's clearly getting wasted off his ass and causing problems on purpose. So, I feel like, you should check up on him at least... just see if something's up..."

"Don't act like you know him like I do." Loona stated as she marched up to Bee to point in her face.

"I ain't sayin' that." Bee assured her before reporting, "I'm just pretty sure he's had like four tongues inside him at once."

"What...?" Ayden muttered, grimacing as she tried to keep her thoughts from calculating the possibilities.

"I mean... good for him." Bee turned to Tex as he nodded in agreement before Bee turned serious again to say,

"But... I can taste the flavor of people at my parties, it's how I saved your little friend here, and he's giving off a very, not okay vibe, you know?"

Loona started getting angrier as she fumed,

"Oh, yeah? And I bet you'd know the 'okay' vibe, right? I mean everyone likes you so much."

Causing Bee to fly up to her face as she challenged,

"What's that supposed to mean? You got a problem or something, sour cream?" Bee suddenly grew larger and her fur turned golden yellow as a third eye opened up on her forehead, finishing the transformation she started earlier when saving Ayden, before she crawled forward toward Loona she boomed, "Don't fuck with me!"

Loona was prepping to fight her when she saw Tex turning away with an upset expression on his face and Ayden looking at her with a hurt look on her face, so she sighed and resolved,

"Haah.. Sorry. Yeah, nope, I'll, uh... I'll check on him."

Loona walked away to go find Blitzø but Ayden stuck around a little longer as Bee shrunk back to her normal size and apologized to Tex,

"Ugh... sorry. Sorry. I know I got a little spicy there. I just... hope everything works out."

"Hopefully..." Ayden spoke quietly but loud enough for Bee to hear her as she told her,

"I'm sure it will..." Before walking up to her with her upper arms on her shoulders as she assured her, "And hey I hope you come to future parties, I'll personally make sure that they're not here..."

"Thanks I'll uh.. I'll think 'bout it." Ayden told her with a slightly hopeful smile on her face that fell as soon as she turned to walk away, catching up to and following Loona as she searched around calling out,

"Blitzø! Bliitzø! Where are you, shithead?! BLIT-"

Before they both saw him French-kissing another imp while he stroked his leg, the whole scene making Ayden incredibly uncomfortable as Loona yelled incredulously,

"Oh, piss on a dick!"

Before grabbing Blitzø by the collar away from the other imp he was making out with as she demanded, scaring other people who'd been around away,

"What the fuck are you doing, Blitzø?!"

"~This guy!~" Blitzø slurred out in a sing-songy drunken tone, hooking a thumb to point to the other imp who briefly waved.

"It looks like you're in the middle of a goddamn orgy! Stop!" Loona dropped him to emphasize her point with her hands.

"Look, I didn't expect you both to come in here and see any of this, Loonie and Denny." Blitzø slurred, pointing at them before raising his arms in a half-shrug as he apologized, "I'm so sorry, but it's a party, I'm just havin' fun with, uh..." He turned back to the imp he's been making out with asking, "The fuck is your name again?"

"Dennis." He answered and Blitzø's face changed to one of disgusted disbelief as he exclaimed,

"Christ on a stick, you would be a Dennis." Waving his arms to shoo Dennis away as he yelled out, "Get the fuck away from me, I'm not fucking a Dennis tonight! I need a Monica or Alejandro in here, stat!"

A big muscly imp suddenly pulled him in as Blitzø teased with his tongue sticking out,

"~Better~"

Before Loona punched him in the face turning it inward and Ayden jumped up to kick him in the chest making him back away before Blitzø stumbled back as Loona caught him saying,

"You don't need anyone else sucking your face, freaky weirdo." Before slinging him over her shoulder to add, "You need to drink something other than Beelzejuice..."

Before walking away with Ayden following behind her as Blitzø waved his arms around muttering,

"Ugh, no..."

Loona managed to carry him back to the van which was still parked on the curb and buckled him into the front seat as Ayden climbed into the back seat before she saw her friends waving to her and she waved back before climbing in the driver's seat.

Ayden was sitting by the window with an elbow propped up on the window edge and her head resting on her paw when she saw Alex and Remi waving to her and she smiled a bit before waving back to them just before Loona started driving away.

They had been driving for a few minutes before Loona looked over to Blitzø as he stared out the window with a crankily drunken expression and she asked him,

"Do you need to throw up?"

"Mmm... noooo." He told her with a slight pout that made Loona scoff back,

"Yeah, you do."

"You c'n jus' drop me off at M&M's, they shoul' be back by now if-" Ayden spoke up but Loona cut her off with,

"Not making any detours, you can stay with us tonight."

"...OK...?" Ayden spoke hesitantly with a raised eyebrow before getting out her hPhone to let them know she'd be back tomorrow after her power lesson.

There was a moment of slightly awkward silence before Loona asked her,

"Hey what did Bee mean back there about 'saving you?'"

Ayden turned back to the window as she muttered,

"Was nothin'..."

"Did that Hannah try anything?" Loona questioned with aggression rising in her voice.

"Well yeh but-" Ayden admitted making Loona's voice rise,

"Why didn't you say anything?!"

"Cause you're the one who said you we'en't gonna be 'babysittin'' me while we were the'e!" Ayden snapped back and Loona sighed before admitting,

"Ok fine.. that one was on me..."

"...'T's fine.. Bee stopped'er b'fore anythin' really happ'ned..." Ayden rubbed a paw to her neck where she'd almost been bitten before and Loona noticed before they arrived at the Ring elevator and she opened the back window so Ayden could puke,

"BLEH! UULGH! PLT!"

She puked a little extra and spit before she mumbled tiredly, the sugar crash finally catching up with her,

"Shoul'n't have eaten so much sweets..."

"I'll bet that's nothing compared to what Blitzø's is gonna puke up later." Loona joked lightly making him slur out poutingly,

"I tol' you nooo..."

"'E's gonna have a helluva hangover t'morrow..." Ayden muttered as the van pulled up outside of Blitzø and Loona's apartment and the three of them disembarked, with Loona having to carry him inside.

Once they got inside, Loona turned on the lights and went to drop Blitzø off on the couch as he curled in on himself to hug himself.

Loona headed to the kitchen to get him a glass of water but poked her head out to ask Ayden,

"Can you grab that blanket for him?"

Ayden turned away from looking at the photos on the walls,

"Su'e..."

She grabbed the rolled-up horse pattern blanket that'd been lying amid all of Blitzø's belongings around his couch/bed before Loona came over to kneel in front of him with a glass of water in hand.

"I had a really shitty day..." Blitzø muttered making Loona question ruefully,

"Oh, yeah? Is that why you drank like five gallons worth of who-knows-what?"

"Fuck, Fizz was right..." Blitzø turned to partially bury his face in a pillow as he half-sobbed, "I'm gonna die alone, aren't I? ...Just a wrinkly, old, withered waste..."

Ayden suddenly felt as if she'd been emptied out with a coldness filling the space when she heard him say that before he asked,

"Will you be there, Loonie...?"

"Be... where?" She questioned unsure.

"I dunno, just lonely... die alone..." The rest of Blitzø's mumbling was muffled by the pillow he buried his face into before Ayden handed the blanket to Loona and she draped it over him as she whispered,

"I'll be there, dad..."

Before gently patting his back and telling him,

"Now, go the fuck to sleep, okay?"

Moving to head back to her room before stopping as she saw Ayden still standing there looking at Blitzø and she cleared her throat while motioning with her head to her room making Ayden tell her,

"Be the'e in a sec..."

"OK..." She closed the door quietly and Ayden bent down in a crouch as she hugged her knees to her chest a little ways from the couch before Blitzø was heard muttering,

"Millie, Moxxie, Stolas..."

"Did your 'shitty day' have anythin' ta do with Stolas...?" Ayden questioned making Blitzø turn just enough to look at her with one eye as she explained,

"I could smell him on ya ea'lier... Ya asked him to the club after I said no di'n't ya...?"

"So what if I did...?" Blitzø turned away from her as he mumbled dejectedly while tugging the blanket closer, "Not like what we've got is anything real..."

"You great big galah... You really think he'd put up with you this long if he di'n't like ya?"

Blitzø made an incoherent noise that sounded like he was trying to deny Ayden's question and she scoffed a bit before looking back over at the pictures hanging on the walls.. and how Blitzø was scribbled out of every single one of them...

"Y'know you an' I a'e a lot alike like that... we wanna be loved but we don' really know how ta handle it when som'one does..."

Ayden moved a bit and a crinkling sound reminded her of the paper in her pocket and she used a paw to pull it out and smoothen it as she stared sadly at it before she added,

"We end up hatin' ourselves and hidin' it 'neath confidence and sa'casm... jus' ta get through each day..."

Blitzø rolled back over to look at her with an unreadable expression and Ayden noted,

"...Fuck it ya probably won't even remember this..."

Ayden turned the photo around to reveal it to him; a polaroid selfie of herself and a blonde human girl with ice cream cones in hand, the girl blowing a party blower at the camera and Ayden looked to be making a similar motion, but it was hard to tell since her side of the photo had been scratched up by someone with broken claws...

"If I w's able ta love someone 'normally,' I think it woulda been her... she was my best friend.. but I killed her when she got too close... so nowadays I hate it when people take fer granted when o'hers love'em and they can't see it..."

"Stolas doesn't love me..." Blitzø finally spoke up, still sounding drunk as he muttered, "He never did..."

"Maybe... maybe not..." Ayden admitted before insisting, "At the ve'y least you both care 'bout each o'her..."

"...people I care about get hurt... always..."

"...Ditto..." Ayden tightened her grip on the photo before pocketing it and moving to walk away when Blitzø spoke up,

"...promise me you won't get involved between me an' him..."

"What...?"

"..don' push it..." Blitzø buried his face back into the pillow and Ayden frowned before whispering in a genuine tone,

"Fine.. I promise..."

Before walking over to and enetering Loona's room where she had already changed into her pj's and was setting up a bed area next to hers for Ayden as she asked with a rueful joking tone,

"You alright Denny?"

"Yeh I'm good Loonie..." Ayden answered as she wiped her eyes a bit before trying to smirk before thanking her, "Thanks for.. y'know lettin' me stay... here..."

"It's nothing..." Loona waved it off before she tossed her some shorts and a loose tank top to borrow for the night.

"Right..." Ayden ducked into the bathroom to change, adjusting the top to cover most of her chest up to her neck, before returning with the clothes Loona had let her borrow for the party in her hands.

After she laid them on the dresser where her satchel was and put the bracelet pieces and photo back into it, she went back to the area of the floor she was sleeping on and started rearranging it to look like a little blanket nest before Loona asked her,

"You sure you're doin' OK after... what happened...?"

Loona saw Ayden's movements seize for a second her tail whipped around once before she minutely shook her head and went back to rearranging the blankets as she bluntly stated,

"'T's nothing I hav'n't been through befo'e..."

Before getting under the blankets and burrowing herself under to where none of her was visible to Loona on the outside.

She looked down at her for a few seconds of apprehension before sighing quietly through her nose and going to turn off the light.

"Mph!" A little noise of fear sounded from Ayden that made Loona prick her ears up but just as she was about to ask, she spoke up harshly,

"I'm fine... night..."

"...Night..." Loona told her as she got in her bed and shuffled around before the consistent sound of breathing signaled to Ayden that she was asleep.

Poking her head back out, she saw Loona facing away from her, lightly snoring before she pulled her paws out and looked at them as she tried to summon some sparks, but nothing came out as they shook.

''M still not strong 'nuff...'

Was the last thing on her mind before she burrowed back under the blankets and closed her eyes to fall asleep, hoping the nightmares wouldn't come back for another round...

AN- That's Season 1 wrapped up!

OK, so next up is Season 2 starting with "The Circus" which will be focusing on some flashbacks on Ayden's life, including how she met and joined I.M.P.. However, before that, I have to fully put that episode together and then I wanted to try to get ahead on a few of the show's episodes along with the original, possibly 2 part, episode I have planned to take place after "Seeing Stars" and before "Exes and Oohs" that I need to finish planning out before writing.

That all being said, I probably won't start posting Season 2 for a few weeks just to give me a chance to write all those chapters out in between classes and work so I can keep up another steady update streak while we all wait for the next episode of Season 2 of Helluva Boss and Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel.

I'd still like to hear if any of you reading this would want to see mini bonding moments with Ayden and the canon characters since I've already got some ideas and maybe I could post a few of them while working on Season 2. Whatcha think?
