The Cup and The Order
The next morning, everyone woke up earlier than usual since everyone had naps the day before. Kreacher was back to cooking meals. Hermione and Ron were the last to get to breakfast.
"Hello you two. Sleep well?" Draco teased playfully. The two blushed, nodded their heads, and sat down with everyone else.
"Today, we need to figure out a way to sneak into Bellatrix's vaults, and get the cup." Harry announced. "We don't really have to capture her, but we do need to get her clothes, and some DNA. No one will really notice, and by the time Bellatrix finds out we broke in, we'll already have the cup." Harry said lazily, sipping some coffee.
"Well, whose going to play Bellatrix?" Ron asked. Everyone turned their heads to Hermione.
"Fine. Merlin forbid you turn into a girl for an hour." Hermione grumbled, taking a piece of toast.
"Doesn't that mean we have to sneak into Hogwarts again?" Neville asked. Everyone nodded. "I gladly offer my help if you need it." Neville piped up.
"Thank you Neville. But I think we need to keep the numbers low for this. The smaller the group, the easier it will be for us to sneak in. I'm thinking me, Ron, and Hermione sneak into Hogwarts again, get the clothes and DNA, then Hermione can go to open up Bellatrix's vaults, and Ron and I will just use the invisibility cloak." Harry said.
"Wait, what about me?" Draco protested. "You're an idiot if you think I'm going to let you go there without me."
"Well then I guess I'm an idiot, because I want you to stay here with Neville, and guard the house. Don't forget we are still on watch. All it takes is one of the order members to release the information, and this hide out is completely screwed. If anyone tries to break in, I need you two to protect the house from the inside. And if you can't I need you to grab a couple important things, and flee. You can send a Patronus to us if that's the case." Harry said calmly.
"But-" Draco tried to protest but Harry cut him off.
"I'm not having any shit right now. Yesterday set me back a bit, and I'm still trying to get back to 100% normal. I'm not angry, but I am a little irritated still. So try to cooperate with me, please." Harry said gently. Draco nodded, and leaned over to kiss Harry. Harry kissed back.
"Sorry." Draco apologized.
"Its ok. Sorry for snapping at you."
"You two act like a married couple." Ron snorted. That made everyone chuckle a little.
"If we head out in the next 20 minutes, I think we might be able to get the cup today." Harry said. Ron, Hermione, and Harry stood up from the table, and headed upstairs to get dressed. Harry wore the black hoodie with wing slits in the back, a pair of blue jeans, and his black hiking boots. Ron wore a grey jumper, black jeans, and some sneakers. Hermione wore blue jeans, sneakers, and two long sleeve shirts on top of each other. Everyone dressed warmly since the winter season was approaching, and outside was slowly getting colder and colder. Everyone grouped in the living room. Hermione had her magical bag, and Harry had his cloak.
Draco walked to Harry, and pulled him into a deep kiss on the lips. "You better stay safe." Draco ordered gently. Harry nodded and kissed his nose.
"I'll be fine. We will all be fine." Harry comforted. They released, and Harry looked back to them. "The cloak can't hold three people, so we will all go invisible before we sneak into Hogwarts, but when we get to Gringotts, Ron and I will go under the cloak so we know where each other is." Harry quickly explained. "Now hold onto my arms, and prepare yourself."
In a second, everyone disappeared to the familiar opening of the bridge leading into Hogwarts.
When they got there, Harry motioned for everyone to sit down on the ground around him. He then placed the cloak over everyone's heads. Harry pulled the Marauders Map out.
"Ok, so Bellatrix is here." Harry pointed to a room in the Slytherin Tower. "Its 9, and she's not moving around, so she must be sleeping there. We can sneak in, knock her out, get some hair and some clothes, and leave quickly. It looks like a couple death eaters are sleeping in the dorms also." Harry said, pointing to the other dorms. "So let's be quiet."
"How are we going to get inside the tower? We don't know the password." Hermione pointed out.
"Maybe we could fly through the common room window?" Ron thought out loud.
"I could carry you," Harry looked at Hermione. "And Ron can use my broom." Harry quickly took his wand out, summoned his broom, and handed it to Ron. "We can go outside of the tower, and we can fly up, and look through the window until we find the common room. Then we can carefully open up the window, and slip through." Harry concluded. Harry showed them exactly where they were going on the map, and he pointed to it on the castle. Harry then turned himself and Ron invisible. Harry sprouted his wings, and made Hermione lighter, then he picked her up bridal style.
"Ron, can you make Hermione invisible?" Harry asked. Ron did so, and now everyone was invisible. The only thing visible was the broom, but no one would be able to see it since it was still a bit dark outside.
Everyone then took flight, and flew to the Slytherin Tower, common room, window. Hermione opened it easily with an Alohomora, and they all flew into the room quietly. They made themselves visible, and Harry got rid of his wings. Harry pointed to the girls dorms, and put his finger to his mouth.
When they got inside the correct room, they saw Bellatrix sleeping in her bed still. Harry quickly whispered a stunning spell, and Bellatrix was as still as a rock. Hermione made her way to the closet to get some clothes, while Ron collected some hair from her. Then they snuck out of the room, down to the common room. They all became invisible, and they all flew out of the window, and back off of the school grounds to the beginning of the bridge, out of view. Everyone became visible, and then apperated back home.
When they got there, Draco assaulted Harry with kisses and hugs.
"Thank gosh you got back." Draco said worriedly. Harry laughed a little, and let go.
"Everything was so easy. We just flew to the window of the Slytherin Tower common room, and we went to Bellatrix. I stunned her in her sleep, and we got the necessary ingredients for the Poly Juice." Ron held the bag of hair at that statement.
"Well, let's dress me up, and get that cup." Hermione said confidently. She then walked upstairs, and put on the godawful black dress and outfit. Surprisingly, it fit Hermione. When she walked down, Hermione had a frown on her face, and Ron was chuckling.
"What's so funny, Ron?" Hermione said irritated.
"I think I like the old Hermione better than this." Ron said through his laughs. Hermione just rolled her eyes, and drank the Poly Juice potion, and in seconds, she turned into Bellatrix Lestrange.
"Let's go." Harry said. Draco and Neville said their goodbyes, even though Neville was a bit nervous around Hermione now. Then they all apperated outside of Diagon Alley, and they walked down the street to Gringotts.
Hermione walked into the goblin bank nervously, tripping over her shoes now and again. Ron and Harry were huddled together underneath the invisibility cloak.
"Excuse me." Hermione said. She didn't sound like Bellatrix at all. The goblin looked down from his seat.
"Key." He said. Hermione panicked a little.
"I hardly think that's needed, now if you can, please show me to my vaults." Hermione ordered in a higher voice. Harry looked behind himself, and he saw the guard slowly start walking to them. Harry quickly took his wand out, and sent a confundis charm on the goblin. The goblin then smiled, and stepped down from his seat.
"Right this way, Mrs. Lestrange." The goblin said pleasantly. They all then followed the goblin to the familiar carts. Harry pulled the cloak off of him and Ron.
"Take us to Bellatrix Lestrange's vaults, quickly." Harry asked urgently.
"Of course, hold on tight." Then not a moment later, the cart shot forward, and drove them through wild twists and turns until they abruptly stopped at a gigantic door, deep in Gringotts. The goblin then took the lantern, and walked to the door. Ron renewed the charm, and the goblin then opened the door with his finger.
"Ok, step carefully. Do not touch anything unless you are 100% sure it's the cup. We are looking for a golden goblet with two handles, and a Badger on the front. And do not knock anything over." Harry warned. "Ron, I need you to keep on renewing that charm so he doesn't wander off." Then Harry and Hermione spread out, and carefully looked through the cups. Harry looked up at the top of the a pile of golden pieces. There at the top, stood two golden cups with two handles, and a badger on both.
"I think I found it." Harry called. Hermione walked over to him. Harry pointed to the top.
"Its one of the two cups. I think one is a decoy." Harry explained. "Do you remember exactly how it looks like?" Harry asked. Hermione nodded.
"If you fly me over to the two, I can probably figure out which is which from up close." Hermione said. Harry sprouted his wings, and picked Hermione up bridal, and he carefully flew up to the top of the pile. Hermione looked at the two cups. The front looked exactly the same.
"Fly me to the back of them." Hermione said. Harry carefully maneuvered himself so they were behind the cups." Hermione hovered her hand over each one. The one on her left, glowed a hot red when her hands got close to it.
"The one on the left is the fake." Hermione said. She then carefully reached her hand out, and grabbed the goblet on the right. Nothing happened.
"Fly us down, I got the correct cup." Hermione said. Harry complied, and they were both down on the ground. Harry willed his wings back.
"Ron we got the cup." Harry said.
"Really. Cool, now let's leave." Ron said happily. The goblin started leading the group back to the cart, when of course, Ron tripped over a necklace. They all froze, and they saw the necklace start multiplying fast.
"Run!" Harry yelled. Ron picked the goblin up, and they all started running towards the door. The necklace pile then made its way to another pile of golden pieces, and now those were multiplying rapidly. Soon, a tidal wave of treasure was chasing them from behind. Harry jumped and sprouted his wings, mid-air, and he rushed to open the door for his friends. Just at the last minute, Ron, Hermione, and Harry exited the door, and they pressed it closed. It locked automatically. Everyone bent over panting from the adrenaline rush. Harry willed his wings away.
"Ok, let's get out of here quickly. No doubt that an alarm was triggered after all that." Harry panted. "Take us back." Harry told the goblin. The goblin smiled, and complied. Soon, everyone was walking back to the entrance, past all the goblins doing their work.
Of all the other times for a potion to wear off, it chose now. Hermione started to shrink visibly, and her hair turned back to its brown colour.
"Run." Ron whispered, and Hermione quickly kicked her heels off, and they all made a break outside, and pushed past the crowds of people. In the distance, they could hear the yelling of the guards, ordering them to stop.
Just as everyone reached the outskirts of Diagon Alley, they all apperated back home.
Because off the abrupt and sudden apparition, everyone stumbled to the ground of the living room. Draco and Neville rushed over to help them up.
"How did it go?" Neville asked as he helped Hermione up. Hermione grinned, and held up the golden cup.
"Wonderful!" Neville exclaimed, and Hermione and Neville hugged happily. They let go.
"I'm going to go dress out of these dreadful clothes, then we can destroy that awful cup." Hermione said.
Harry reached into the bottomless bag, and handed Neville the hat. Harry placed the cup on the ground.
"Go crazy." Draco smiled at Neville. Neville smiled weakly, and withdrew the sword from the hat. Hermione walked down just in time to watch. Neville brought the sword down on the cup, and the familiar smoke enveloped him, but dissipated a minute later. Neville puts the sword back in the hat.
"Now we only need to kill the last two horcuxes, and we'll be free." Harry said sadly. Everyone looked sadly at Harry, except for Neville.
"What are the last horcruxes?" Neville asked. Harry turned to him.
"Come with me, I have a couple things I need to tell you." Harry made Neville follow him to the library. Neville followed, and Harry and him had a discussion.
"I hope he's alright." Hermione said.
"Of course he's not alright. He going to die." Ron said. Draco didn't say anything, but he slumped into the chair sadly. 5 minutes later, Harry and Neville emerged from the library. Draco immediately stood up, and grabbed Harry into a hug. Harry returned it gladly. Neville looked at the two sadly.
"Tomorrow, we will launch an attack on Hogwarts." Harry said. "This war ends tomorrow." Harry said emotionlessly. "I'm going to send a Patronus to all the Order Members. Philip, can you show me how to add people to the wards?" Harry asked. Draco nodded.
"Just raise your wand, and say 'Praeter', then say, 'Order of the Phoenix'." Draco instructed. Harry complied. Harry then sent an emergency Patronus to all the Order Members.
"They should he here soon. Help me set the chairs and tables off to the side so everyone has room." Harry asked. Everyone then spent 5 minutes hovering the chairs against the walls, and they stored the tables in the attic for the time being. Soon, Fleur, Molly, Arthur, Ginny, Charlie, Bill, Fred, and George emerged from the floo.
"Oh, my babies!" Molly cried out as she scooped everyone into a big hug. Fred and George gave everyone hugs, and so did Arthur and Ginny.
"What's the emergency?" Arthur asked.
"I think we should wait for everyone to arrive. I called an entire Order meeting. Everyone should be here soon." Harry assured them.
"Would you like some tea?" Draco asked.
"That would be splendid, Philip." Arthur answered. Kreacher then popped in, and carried tea for everyone. After 10 minutes of people constantly coming out of the floo, everyone was finally there. Harry left one table in the middle of the living room, and he stepped onto it to get everyone's attention.
"Please calm down!" Harry yelled. The room became quiet. "I have called you here today, because we have finally got everything together to destroy Voldemort once and for all." Harry said. "We are all going to openly attack Hogwarts. We need a couple people to make their way to the Dungeons, and free all the students being held there. We are going to fight as hard as we can, and wait for Voldemort to come. When he comes, I will defeat him." Harry said loudly. Tonks spoke up.
"And how are you going to defeat him?" She asked.
"I'm not going to let that piece of information loose. I just need you all to focus on fighting the death eaters, and causing a big commotion. And I need you to keep an eye out on Neville." Harry said, looking at Neville. "He has a weapon that will defeat Voldemort's snake, Nagini. You'll know her when you see her. Don't underestimate Nagini. She has the skill and intellect of a wizard, and her bite is extremely venomous. Neville can only kill her when Voldemort shows up since they never separate from each other. Once you have seen Neville kill the snake, I need you to all send red sparks into the air, and I need you all to stop fighting, and surrender. You are all going to have to trust me on this." Harry said sadly. Draco stood on the table, and placed a hand on Harry's shoulder.
"The attack starts tomorrow at 11 am. We will all meet at the border of the grounds in front of the Bridge. When we run across the bridge, you need to commence the fight. I need 4 volunteers to head as a group, and release the students in the dungeons." Draco said. Kingsley, Remus, Bill, and Ginny all volunteered to release the students.
"Good. I need you to tell them that the fight is happening, and to ready themselves." Draco told them.
"We also have another announcement." Harry added. "You may not know Philip, but for those who do, you still don't know who he actually is." Draco looked at Harry, and he nodded his head. Harry removed Draco's Glamours, revealing his true self. A couple people gasped.
"This is Draco Black. He has helped me through everything since the beginning of summer. His family made forced the dark mark on him, so he fled. He renounced his name of Malfoy, and took the name Black. He helped me out of the Dursleys home, where, they were beating me constantly everyday, every summer, since I was 5. Draco saved my life. I want you to know that Draco is on our side, and you dare not hurt him or you'll have to deal with my wrath. And trust me, you might not emerge alive, because I have anger issues." Harry said. He added a little growl for emphasis. No one said anything, but they were probably too scared to say anything. Harry then turned to Draco, and gave him a kiss on the cheek, before Draco stepped down.
"You can all go home now for the night." Harry concluded. Everyone filled out of the house, except for the whole Weasley Family, and Fleur.
"So, you were always Draco." Arthur said to Draco. Draco nodded.
"Did you act nice to us, or have you genuinely changed." Arthur asked.
"I can assure you 100%, that everything that I said to you as Philip came from my heart. I am not my father. Growing up, he has always told me that I was better than everyone else, but he was deathly wrong. We are all equal, and I truly am sorry for the way I have treated your family in the past. I only hope you can at least forgive me, but you do not have to act like my family anymore, if you so wish." Draco said sincerely. At this point, everyone was watching the two. Molly stepped forward.
"You love Harry, don't you." She said.
"More than the world. I would die for him in a heart beat." Draco added. Molly and Arthur smiled, and they brought Draco into a hug.
"Family has to stick together, and you are now our family, whether you like it or not." Molly laughed. When they let go, the rest of the Weasley family brought him into hugs. Even Ginny did. When they were done, Harry turned to Draco. A tear fell down, but Harry smiled, and brought Draco into a deep kiss, which Draco returned with fervor. Hermione turned to the Weasleys.
"Would you like to stay for dinner?" Hermione asked on behalf of Harry and Draco. They all nodded, and everyone headed to the dinning room.
The dinner wasn't exactly talkative and exciting, but it was more of a calm, quiet, neutralness. Everyone was too tired from the emotional activity of the day. Once dinner was done, the Weasleys and Fleur headed to the floo.
"Hey mum, dad. Hermione and I are going to stay here. We'll meet you at the bridge tomorrow morning." Ron assured. They nodded in understanding, and they all said goodbye to everyone.
When everyone left, Ron and Hermione, and Harry and Draco, headed to their beds for the night, and fell into an exhausted sleep.
