Chapter 12 Larry date:)

The next day was a saturday and fortunately there was no school.  He knew he shouldn't but Harry was really worried about the date, and nervous.

He also didn't know what to wear. When he called Luke and told him that, demanding for him to come over and help him, the blonde laughed, "Oh my god, Harry, you're so gay. You sound like a teenage girl on her first date."

Harry pouted, even though Luke couldn't see him, "Not funny. I'm fucking nervous, Luke-. This is Louis I'm going on a date with, I mean, Louis, Louis Tomlinson. Super hot and cute and perfect Louis. Who can even be cute and hot at once? Oh, I'll tell you: Louis. THE Louis I'm going on a date with. Louis who-..."

"Okay, okay, okay, I get it. Louis is great and you want to fuck him. Or be fucked by him. Probably all at once." Luke interrupted.

"Luke!" Harry screeched, "Just freaking help me!"

"Okay, relax, I'll come over."

And an hour later they stood infront of Harrys' closet, clothes scattered around the floor.

"Luke, you're supposed to help me." Harry whined, looking over at the blonde who was eating all the cookies his mum brought them.

"Yeah, yeah, just wear the ugly yellow one you liked."

"No! You think it's ugly, so Louis might too."

"So? He likes you either way. Doesn't matter."

"It does matter, Luke! This is a DATE! I don't think you see the importance of that. If this goes wrong we won't...-"

"Fuck?" Luke interrupted Harrys' panicked speech. Harry glared at him. Luke sighed, "Harry, you need to relax. You two already kissed, you already act couple-y, and Louis is the one who plans the date so if anyone fucks up, it's him. Just put on this. It lookes great on you, I think."

Harry ended up wearing a black skinny jeans, a white button up with blue pattern and his brown boots. And by the time the bell rang Luke was already gone.

Once Harry opened the door Louis stood there with a single red rose in his hand and a bright smile on his face. Harry mirrowed it, his dimples showing, as Louis gave him the rose. "Hey Haz."

"Thanks." Harry said, referring to the rose and gave the shorter boy a peck on the cheek before quickly turning around to hide his blush and put the flower into a vase. Louis followed him into the kitchen because it was almost natural for them, even though it was more tense than usual.

"Do you want something to drink?" Harry asked after finishing the task of watering the rose.

"No, it's okay. Let's go, okay?" Louis looked at him for affirmation.

Harry nodded and shouted to the house, "MUM, I'M GOING OUT."

"WHERE?" His mum shouted back from her room.

"WE'LL SEE!"

"WITH WHO?"

"LOUIS!"

"OKAY, HAVE FUN!"

Harry smiled because he knew they would.

Louis opened the passenger seat of his car for Harry to get in. The curly haired boy blushed and muttered "Thanks". After a minute of silent driving Harry spoke up, "So should I ask you where we're going now only for you to tell me it's a surprise and then I'd have to beg for you to tell me until you do?"

Louis laughed, "If you want that. But I can tell you without begging. But just so you know, if  I would have planned not to tell you I wouldn't give in until we're there."

Harry laughed because it was probably true. Louis could be very subborn. "Okay, tell me."

"Well, I thought we could go to the zoo." Louis told him.

"That's cool. Why though?"

Louis shrugged slightly, "Why not? I like the zoo. And you do too, you told me once when we watched Titanic. I thought it might be fun. What's your favourite animal?"

Harry was impressed that Louis remembered such a small detail, especially since the conversations they had during watching Titanic were mostly about making fun of the movie and anything else that could help them concil the tears at the end of it. Anyways, to answer Louis' question, "Cats."

Louis laughed, "Of course, gay boy."

"Hey, you're gay too. Or bi or whatever."

Louis gave him a side glance, "'M gay." He confessed, "But you're gayer."

Harry laughed and shook his head at his sillyness. Accompanied by their easy banter they arrived at the zoo.

"Stay seated." Louis said after he parked the car and ran around the car to open Harrys' door. Harry nearly laughed as he watched him but thanked him nonetheless.

"Oh, by the way." Louis said as they made their way to the entrance, "I'm paying today." When he noticed Harrys' questioning expression he explained, "Just in case you were about to give me the I- feel- bad- if- I- let- you- pay- for- me speech."

Harry laughed, "I wasn't planning that. I'll take you out next time anyways."

"Who says there is a next time?" Louis teased, but smiled happily.

"...you know, and Lottie then thought the hippos were about to-... hey, where are you going?" Louis interrupted his story. They walked around the zoo and Harry cooed at almost every animal about how cute they were. They learned much more about each other in their conversations even though they were already close before.

Louis always got struck by what a sweet person Harry was and Harry was amazed by what a great big brother Louis was to his sisters. Harry thought Louis would be an amazing dad, preferably to their children... He had dreams, okay?

"Uuuh, there are the polar bears." Harry answered the older boys' question.

"Yes, but this way are the zebras." Louis retorted, pointing to another path.

"Yeah, but I wanted to see the polar bears."

"But zebras are my favourites, so we're going to see them."

"But you're the one that took me on the date so I should get to choose."

"Yeah, but... but... the zebras have stripes."

Harry giggled and suggested, "We can go to the polar bears and then see the zebras after."

"Okay." Louis agreed.

On the way from the polar bears back to the zebras Louis decided to go to the toilet because it was on the way next to the 'Amazonas house'. Harry waited while watching the exotic birds in the rather large cage. He walked along the wire fence, keeping his gaze on the beautiful colourful birds.

"Oh, sorry." A high pitched voice said and as Harry noticed a impact against his chest.

"Sorry." Harry mumbled too and stepped back resulting in him being able to see the blonde and rather tall girl that he ran into.

"Oh." She smiled and fluttered her eyelashes at him, "Maybe I'm not so sorry to run into you."

"Uuuh..." Harry wasn't sure what to answer to that. He noticed a dark brown haired girl next to her rolling her eyes at the other girls' flirting attempt.

"You're alone here, babe?" The blonde asked, stepping closer to him, again looking up at him through his eyelashes.

"Err..." Harry was bewildered as to why this girl was flirting with him. They were in a zoo full of children, not some bar.

"Excuse me?" Louis' voice was threatening as he appeared behind Harry, interrupting his train of thoughts. "Could you step away from my boyfr-... date?" Harry blushed.

The brunette next to the blonde girl bursted out laughing loudly. She laughed so hard that tears built in her eyes and now the blonde was blushing too. She hit her laughing friend rapidly but Harry could that she was trying to supress a smile. And soon, Louis and Harry joined the contagious laughter.

The blonde girl said, "Whatever, Mel, I hate you." and began to stomp off. The brunette, 'Mel' apparently, sobered up immediantly and grabbed the other girls' arm, "No Jolly, please don't be mad. I'm sorry."

The girl called 'Jolly' rolled her eyes and continued walking away, "Well, come then." Harry caught 'Mel' looking at the retreating girls' ass a bit too long before she turned to Louis and him. "I'm sorry, she's not always like that, really. She's a really sweet girl most of the time. She just wanted to, err... proof something. She's just embarrassed right now."

"You really like her, don't you?" Harry asked.

'Mel' blushed and looked sidewards, "Doesn't matter. She's straight."

"I didn't know I was gay either before I met Harry." Louis commented.

That made her smile, "You're cute together. Goals, really. Anyways, I probably should follow her." She gestured into the direction where 'Jolly' had stomped off to, taking a few steps backwards.

"Wait." Harry stopped her, "I...uum, I know what you're going through right now and... err... just call me if you need to talk or something." Her gave her a small piece of paper with numbers scribbled across it messily. She took it, smiling, and ran off.

"So," Louis turned to Harry, "I'm only gone for three minutes and you're already looking for replacement?"

Harry groaned, "Louis, I wasn't the one flirting with her. You know that."

"Still," Louis continued and closed the distance between them, wrapping his arms around Harrys' waist, "How am I supposed to be sure that I'll be able to stay yours with all the people throwing themselves at you." His tone was teasing but Harry heard the underlying worry that Louis was trying to supress.

Harrys' hands cupped Louis' jaw and he looked into his eyes, whispering, "Wouldn't want anyone if I could have you." Louis was taken aback by the sincerity in Harry's eyes and voice. "Besides," Harry continued, "You have people throwing themselves at you too."

Louis arched an eyebrow, "Oh?"

"Eleanor." Harry muttered.

Louis laughed, "Oh, no, she knows I'm gay." They were back to talking in a normal volume but hadn't moved from their position.

"No way. She was flirting with you since the beginning." Harry protested.

Louis shook his head, "Not anymore. She kind of helped me to figure myself out."

Harry slipped an arm around Louis' waist to pull him closer so their chests and noses were touching. "Then I should thank her, shouldn't I?"

Louis giggled but before he could be embarrassed Harrys' lips were on his. They moved together slowly and innocently. Harry smiled into the kiss. Louis pulled back slightly, opening his eyes to look at Harry, "What?"

Harry was still smiling and leaned in to give the other boy another peck before answering, "It's just so... surreal that I can do that with you."

Louis giggled again and hit Harrys' chest, "You're so cheesy."

Harry smiled, "Now kiss me, you fool." And he did.

They were still kissing as Louis dropped Harry off infront of his house.

Okay, maybe they paused inbetween. But they had just gotten a lot more confident with affection. They ate just chips from the zoo for dinner, being all cute and feeding each other.

But except for that nothing changed between them. They still bantered and teased each other and it was amazing how they could talk endless about the most pointless topics. It was definetely the most perfect date Harry experienced and he wasn't too keen on letting Louis go anytime soon.
