"Hei...mom...dad." Magnus was really nervous for some reason and he rubbed his hands together. Alec was a little concerned because Magnus was really quiet on the way here and seemed a little lost in his thoughts. He didn't know why Magnus was so worried about going to the cemetery but he didn't want to pressure him because Magnus seemed to be stressed enough already. Magnus felt bad. He felt bad for avoiding this moment for so long and he felt guilty. He felt guilty that even he visited his home quiet often in the past he never visited the grave of his parents and he felt bad that he run away shortly after the funeral of his mother. When Magnus mother died Magnus was mad and he was broken so all he wanted to do was running away. Running away from all the pain and lost he experienced seemed like the only solution. Magnus felt tears burning behind his eyes threatening to escape them and Magnus didn't want that. He tried so hard to fight them back but being now in front of the grave of his parents was too much. All these years he got away with just not accepting the fact his parents were dead and since he was so fare away he could pretend that they were still alive. He could pretend that they still lived in their house and were happy but now that didn't work anymore. Magnus never really gave himself the chance to process the death of his parents because he never let the thought in that they weren't a part of this world anymore. That bubble he build around him just broke into thousand little pieces and he couldn't put them back together. Now it was real and now he had to deal with his parents being really gone. "I...I'm so sorry." Magnus chocked out and the strenght he had to hold back his tears left him. His voice cracked but before he could fall there were strong arms who caught him. Alec was really concerned now about Magnus but he knew that Magnus needed that. All he could do now was being there for him and support him. Magnus hid his face in Alecs chest taking in Alecs calming scent and grabbed Alecs shirt holding onto it tightly. Alec placed a soft kiss on the top of Magnus head and stroke gentlely Magnus back. Magnus wasn't crying anymore but he knew if he would see the grave again he would cry again. "Magnus...hei...don't cry please." Alec said softly and Magnus looked up at him making Alec sure he wasn't really crying. "What are you sorry for?" Alec asked with a weak smile and placed on hand over Magnus cheek who leaned in the touch. "I...I just feel guilty...I never visited them." Magnus confessed a little worried now that Alec would judge him for that but all Alec did was  understanding. "Magnus, there is nothing to feel guilty about. You needed time and it is your right to take all the time you need." Alec answered with a firm voice because he didn't want Magnus to feel bad about the things that he needed for himself. "But...they probably are mad at me for that." Magnus was sniffing now and to be honest he was pretty hating how weak he was right now. He hated to cry but he knew he could cry in front of Alec still he didn't like that. "They aren't mad. If they are something than they are proud of you and it doesn't matter if you didn't visit them. They aren't just here...they are here." Alec said and pointed with his index finger on Magnus chest where his heart was. Magnus looked down at the finger and then back up in Alecs beautiful hazel  eyes. "Maybe they aren't a part of this world anymore but they will always be in your heart and be by your side. Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it isn't there." Alec added hoping his words would give Magnus the comfort he needed and he was honest with every single word. Magnus was really glad Alec was here with him and he was surprised about how Alec always found the right words. Right now Alec couldn't have said anything better and Magnus felt a little relaxed. "Thank you." Magnus still sniffed but his lips tugged into a really weak smile and Alec placed a feather kiss on Magnus lips. "If you want to go home we can leave and maybe you want to try later." Alec suggested when he pulled back because he wanted to make sure Magnus could go if he felt not good but Magnus shook his head. "No...I don't want to push that away any longer...also I feel okay as long as you are here." Magnus answered and even he felt pretty down seeing how Alecs face lit up after his words Magnus had to smile. Alec never struggled to magic a smile in Magnus face and it was really good to see how happy Alec was about his words. None of the person in Magnus life were so happy about just having Magnus by his side like Alec was and Magnus really appriciated that.
