Magnus never realized how long a minute was until now and a minute was damn long. He felt like a minute was an hour and he couldn't stop to watch the clock on his nightstand. After their dinner at Alecs place they went to Magnus place and Alec didn't fail to distract him. They shared a steamy shower and after that Magnus even fall asleep rather quickly but then he woke up. Magnus woke up at 1am after he maybe slept for two hours and now it was only 1:45am but it felt like a whole day passed by. He just couldn't fall alseep because the questions inside of his head were screaming and keeping his eyes open. There were so many questions seaking for an answer which Magnus didn't have one and maybe would never get one. Suddenly Alec moved to lay down on his stomach and placed his arm over Magnus chest. "Can't sleep?" Alecs his voice was a little hoarse and sleep was clearly written on his face but still a smile was drawn on his lips. The smile wasn't only happy but also concerned about Magnus and Magnus nodded lightly. "I'm sorry." Alec sighed and nuzzled with his face in Magnus neck rubbing his nose against Magnus smooth skin. Alec really hated that Magnus had to think that maybe his best friend never died but he couldn't change it. He knew the only thing that would make Magnus feel better again was the truth but it could also hurt him. Alec knew Magnus was really hoping Jadon was alive and that was why Alec was a little scared. It would destroy Magnus hope and hurt him even more then Jadons death already did. "You wanna go for a walk?" Alec asked after he gave himself the chance to wake up completely and Magnus frowned. "It's 2am...I don't think it is a good idea." Magnus answered and Alec pulled back from Magnus supporting his head on a hand while he pressed his ellbow in the matress. "Why? Scared of vampires?" Alec teased and caressed Magnus chest with a finger making Magnus snort a bit. "No...but it could be dangerous." Magnus said but Alec was sure fresh air would do Magnus some good and he didn't want Magnus to panic because he couldn't sleep. Alec knew what it was like when you just couldn't fall asleep anymore and it was a scarry feeling sometimes. "I'm sure one of the night security can accompany us...with a lot of space between us and him." Alec said with a little smile knowing Magnus would agree that the security had to give them space. "Mh...okay but then you need to put on pants...it could be cold."  Magnus chuckled feeling more relaxed now that Alec was awake and fresh air sounded actually really great. "Actually I wanted to go naked but if you think I shouldn't." Alec answered with a dramatic sigh at the end and Magnus shook his head while he laughed. Alec was glad he could still make Magnus smile pretty easily and he could sense Magnus was not as tensed as he was when Alec woke up. "I wished it could be summer forever." Magnus sighed while he put on a long sleeve shirt and Alec did the same after he put on sweat pants. "Mh...Fall is also pretty nice. It isn't too hot anymore and you sweat a little less while dancing." Alec answered with a little chuckle and Magnus smiled at him. They went downstairs to put on some shoes and since Alec was faster he decided to call the gate. He talked with one of the security team to tell them to send someone and Magnus just watched him with a light smile. Alec realized that and frowned a little still smiling tho and ended the call. "What's that face?" Alec asked taking Magnus hand and wanted to walk but Magnus just stood still not moving. With a little pull he pulled Alec back to him so their chest were pressed against each other making Alec blush a bit. "I'm so happy that I have you...you know that?" Magnus asked placing his hands on Alecs hips and Alec smiled shyly at him. "I'm happy too and I love you." Alec mumbled quietly making Magnus grin and he placed a soft kiss on Alecs lips. "Let's go." Magnus said when he pulled back and dragged Alec to the front door but Alecs mind was still a little messy from the kiss. Alec really started to like the feeling Magnus gave him just with little things like a simple kiss. Alec hoped this feeling would never fade and he knew it wouldn't for some reasons. "What will you do if Jadon is really alive?" Alec asked after they walked in silence for a few minutes. They just walked down the way behind Magnus house that leaded to a big forest but the trees we shorter than them. A guard was following them but he was at least 10 meters behind them giving them enough privacy. "Honestly I don't know...probably kill him for faking his own death but it just feels so sick that there is a possibility for him being alive. I have more questions than anything else actually." Magnus answered with a heavy sigh and Alec squeezed his hand gentely. "Want to tell me these questions?" Alec asked smiling softly and he wanted Magnus to get it off his chest not letting it bother him alone. "I guess the biggest question is why he faked his own death or why he didn't tell me." Magnus answered thoughtfully and it pretty hurt that maybe his best friend was alive but never told him. Jadon had to know how guilty Magnus felt and still he didn't tried to make it somehow better even if he could. "Magnus, I promise you that if he is alive you will get all your answers but if he isn't...then I'm here to catch you." Alec said stopping to walk and looking at the man he loved. "I know and that's one reason out of so many that I love you." Magnus answered softly and stepped closer to Alec who wrapped his arms around Magnus neck when he saw that the guard actually turned around facing them with his back. "I'm so glad that I found you and I love you too." Magnus answered before he leaned in while he closed his eyes...//tbc sorry it is late and I didn't post yesterday but this week is so busy😓💞💕💞💕💞💕💕💞💞💞
