Magnus ran his hands through Alecs hair even he knew Alec was asleep. It made Magnus feel a little better that Alec took a nap and rested a little. Also Magnus could explode from happiness because Alec was sleeping with his head on Magnus chest. It made Magnus happy how comfortable Alec felt around him and that he could relax around him. "I'll keep you save." Magnus whispered and placed a soft kiss on the top of Alecs hair before he carefully entangled himself from Alecs grip. Magnus could have stayed there for the rest of his life but he wanted to get something to drink for Alec. Alec stirred a bit and quickly hugged a pillow making him look adorable in Magnus eyes. Magnus took the summer blanket and tugged it over Alecs body who was peacefully sleeping again. Magnus quietly walked out of his room down to the kitchen and got the shock of his life. "Oh my god. I am so sorry." Magnus almost yelled covering his eyes and turning around when he saw Jace making out with Clary who was only left in her bra. Both of them jumped apart and Clary hid behind Jace getting red like a tomato. "You can turn around." Jace chuckled and Magnus slowly turned around again facing Jace. "Shouldn't you be training?" Jace asked with a frown and Clary quickly put on her shirt again feeling embaressed about getting caught like that. "Yeah...Alec didn't feel well...I took him home and he is asleep now." Magnus answered smiling apologizing at the girl with red hair. "He told you." Jace suddenly said and Magnus stopped immediatly what he was doing. "He what?" Magnus asked trying to act dumb because he didn't know what to do actually. "Can you wait in my room, Baby? I will come in a few minutes." Jace said to Clary with a soft smile and Clary nodded leaving the two men alone. "Don't act dumb, Magnus. I know he told you." Jave sighed and opened the fridge taking out a coke. "How do you know?" Magnus asked watching Jace who smiled amused. "I can see it in your eyes...you look pretty down." Jace answered and took out two glasses for him and Magnus. "You know... I love my big brother and I can see that he is happier. I can see you change him." Jace added and handed Magnus a glass with coke who was still a bit stunned by Jace. "What do you mean?" Magnus asked trying to get more out of Jace. "Alec does things we thought he would never do...he invited you to have dinner and he also gave Simon a chance. But the most important thing is...he smiles." Jace answered with an unreadable expression before he drank his coke. Magnus was a bit perplexed but he was also touched because of the things Jace said. "I like you...you seem nice and I know you aren't him but you have to convince Alec of that." Jace continued and Magnus sighed a little. "Can I do that? I'm afraid I will hurt him." Magnus confessed and was suprised that he told Jace that...a guy he barely knew. "I know you won't and you already changed him." Jace answered shrugging a bit and Magnus suddenly realized something. "I didn't change him...he changed himself. I also can't fix him but he will fix himself while I will be there for him." Magnus said and Jace smiled at Magnus placing a hand on Magnus shoulder. "And exactly that is what he needs. See you know what you do...doesn't mean I won't cut off your dick if you hurt him." Jace answered and chuckled at the end making Magnus a tiny bit scared because a part of Magnus knew Jace was serious. "Thank you, Jonathan." Magnus answered and Jace rolled his eyes because of the name. "How do you know my name?" Jace asked annoyed and Magnus laughed. "Alexander told me." Magnus chuckled and Jace cracked a smile before he turned serious again. "I couldn't protect him once but this won't happen again. Look I make that simple...I won't let anyone hurt him again." Jace said with a somehow sad expression and Magnus looked at Jace with a slight smile. "Then we have that in common." "You have what in common?" Alec asked when he walked in the kitchen rubbing his eyes sleepily. "Oh nothing. Just about the new movie with Leonardo DiCaprio." Jace lied quickly and Alec frowned but he was too sleepy to think about it. "Okay. I will go to Clary see you later." Jace added and left Magnus with Alec in the kitchen. "Did the sleep help?" Magnus asked and placed his glass in the sink. "Yeah...I feel better." Alec answered a bit shyly and walked closer to Magnus. "Thank you...for being still here." Alec said with a low voice and Magnus gulped when he looked in Alecs beautiful eyes. "I told you I won't leave." Magnus answered with a soft smile and slowly placed his hands on Alecs hips. "Is...is that okay?" Magnus asked a bit aftaid to scare Alec away but Alec nodded and very shyly wrapped his arms around Magnus neck. Alec was a bit worried that Magnus left when he woke up alone but he heard talking and was quickly relieved. Magnus heart was beating out of his chest and his legs were a little bit weak. "You make a mess out of me, you know that?" Magnus asked not caring about being honest because he knew Alec wouldn't judge him. "Weird because it actually feels like you clean the mess in my head." Alec answered with a small voice and Magnus heart missed a beat. "This is the cutest thing ever. Damn Simon why didn't we record it?" Suddenly Izzys voice interrupted them and Alec let go of Magnus. "Izzy...don't. Sorry...I tried to stop her. Hello by the way." Simon said with an apoligizing smile and Izzy gave him a death glare. Magnus felt how tensed Alec suddenly was and slipped his hand in Alecs giving it a comforting squeez. Alec smiled a little because of Magnus action and Magnus knew he did everything right. "Hey. What are you doing here?" Alec asked with a smile and Izzy raised an eyebrow but then shrugged. "Izzy is mad and I have no idea why." Simon sighed and Izzy nudged her elbow in Simons side who yelped. "Shut up." Izzy hissed and Alec couldn't suppress a smile because he knew that mood. "Someone has her period." Alec chuckled and Izzy looked with an open mouth at her big brother. "When I tell you now we will run." Alec whispered in Magnus ear and Magnus looked confused at Alec. "I will kil..." "Now." Alec yelled and cut Izzy off running out of the back door into the garden followed by Magnus who was laughing. Alec stopped but Magnus didn't and bumbed in Alecs chest. Both looked in the eyes of each other and for a second the world stopped around them. The world around them was quiet and for them there was only the here and now. Alec shyly cupped Magnus face with his hands and leaned in closing his eyes when they were only an inch away. Magnus did the same and felt soft lips brushing over his making his heart stand still...//tbc
