The dinner passed by in silence and Alec calmed down a little but still he had to force himself to stay calm. "This meal is delicious. You are better than my chef." Magnus chuckled and Maryse smiled at him proudly nudged in Roberts side. "See. He knows how to compliment my food." Maryse complained and Robert rolled his eyes smiling playfully. "You know I love your food. That's one of the reasons why I married you." Robert answered and Maryse shook her head smiling about this amswer. "It is really delicious, Mrs. Lightwood." Clary agreed and Maryse smiled softly at the young woman. "Oh please Clary, call me Maryse. I feel so old when you call me Mrs." Maryse laughed and Clary nodded smiling brightly. Alec looked at Izzy and Jace and saw how they seemed to settle down. Sure Izzy was still young so was Jace but they enjoyed their life...as much as they could with having Alec as their brother. Alec thought about what their life could look like when this didn't happen to him. Would he be a successful dancer now? Would he also have settled down with someone? One thing was sure he would still have the great relationship with his siblings which wasn't existent anymore. To think about the old times when he and his siblings watched movies the whole night with friends or just talking with them was hard. It was hard to think about these old days because it would never happen again...and it wouldn't happen because Alec couldn't get over his fear. The thought of never getting his peace back was a constant follower in Alecs brain. He hated it. "Are you sure you are okay?" Magnus asked quietly and no one heard it besides Alec who nodded. "You are quiet." Magnus mumbled and Alec looked at him with a soft smile. "Yeah. You don't talk when your mouth is full, do you?" Alec asked with a raised eyesbrow making Magnus chuckl. When Magnus chuckled it was like for a short moment Alec didn't feel the worry on his shoulders. "I like your laugh." Alec suddenly said making Magnus look at him surprised and himself shocked. "Thank you...I like yours too." Magnus answered and Alec looked down at his lap to hide his blush that Magnus and his words caused. Somehow Magnus broke this shy wall of Alec piece by piece and it scared Alec. He didn't know how to react to that and his body was doing things by itself. "Alec, Jace told me you dance." Clary suddenly said and Alec nodded with a little smile. "Yeah." He answered shyly and Clary smiled back at him. "Is there any chance we can see if you are as good as Izzy always tells me?" Simon asked without looking at Alec who smiled at Magnus. "Actually, yes. You could come to our first show." Alec answered making his dad smile proudly at him. He was happy that the dinner went better now and Alec warmed up a little. Robert missed to see his son so carefree and happy. "I would love that. Maybe you could teach this bumkin how to dance." Clary answered and pointed at Jace who was pouting but didn't say anything. "I could try but I'm not a magician." Alec chuckled and Jace jaw fell open by how sassy his brother suddenly was. "Who is in for desert?" Maryse asked and everyone looked at her with big eyes. "You didn't underrate my wife, did you?" Robert asked with a smirk and everyon nodded seeming surprised. "I will help you." Robert said and left with Maryse to the kitchen. "Alec, can you come with me?" Izzy suddenly asked and Alec nodded before he got up. Alec was a bit nervous and didn't really know what to think or why his sister wanted to talk with him. "So..." Alec said a bit awkward and was suddenly cut of by Izzy throwing her arms around Alec hugging him tightly. "Thank you so much. You on't know what that means to me." Izzy sniffed and burried her face in Alecs chest who hugged her back after a few seconds. He was shocked by the hug but it was his sister so he didn't have to worry but still he felt uncomfortable. "You don't have to thank me." Alec answered because he felt guilty that his sister couldn't have that sooner. "Look I don't know why you pushed me away and why you changed but today felt like it used to be." Izzy said not pulling away from the hug while Alec shut his eyes tightly fighting tears. He wanted nothing more than having his sister back but he couldn't do that. Alec softly pulled back and placed a gentel peck on Izzys forehead before he left to the dinningroom again. Alec walked in and saw that Max was gone so was Magnus which made Alec really worried. "Where did they go?" Alec asked and Jace stopped to talk with Simon looking at Alec irretated. "They went to see Princess." Jace answered and Alec quickly went to the room for the dogs. He walked inside and saw Max with Magnus sitting on the floor to play with the baby dog. "Hey." Magnus said looking up at Alec who softened the expression on his face when he saw Max was fine. "The desert will be ready soon, you should both come."  Alec said with a nervous smile and Max got up raunning to the dinning room. Alec was already turning around but then Magnus stopped him by gripping his arm. Alecs heart stopped and he almsot yelped but stopped himself. Alec turned around and Magnus saw the fear in his eyes causing him to pull his hand back. "Sorry...I just wanted to aks you something." Magnus mumbled and fumbled around on his hem of the shirt. "It isn't a problem that I'm bisexual, is it?" Magnus stuttered a little and Alec looked with a dead expression at him. A hundert thoughts went through Alecs mind and he felt how he started to sweat again. This couldn't be true...this was the only thing that kept Alec sane when Magnus was around. He didn't have a problem with Magnus liking both sex...Alec was gay so he would never judge someone else for being gay or bisexual. He had a promblem with the pissibility Magnus liking him in a way he didn't want to be liked. Alec didn't say anything and ran as fast as he could to his room leaving Magnus confused and hurt behind....// there it goes😔😔😔 time for a sibling talk!😭❤
