"Max, why don't you go upstairs and get your swimming stuff then?" Magnus asked looking down at the little boy and felt how a hand slipped in his. He knew it was Alecs and he gave it a comforting squeeze knowing Alec was worried. He hated that Alec had to worry and that there was someone out there who wanted to hurt Alecs family because of him. "Yes! I love swimming!" Max yelled and run up the stairs to his room with a big grin. Alec was glad Max didn't notice that something was off and brought his attention back to Mark. "Now what is wrong?" Magnus asked looking at Mark who took out a light brown file. "After we realized someone was in your garden we checked all security cameras of the places Alecs family goes often. We saw the same car at all of them...always a blue BMW with a fake license plate." Mark explained showing all the pictures of the car in front of Max school, in front of Jace college and in front of Alecs parents office. "Oh." Alec only mumbled and looked closely at the pictures but he never saw that BMW. "We don't know if this person only wants to take pictures or wants to harm one of you...until we know we would like Max not to go to school. The same goes for your sister and your brother but I can assure you, Alec, with my team around you nothing will happen." Mark added when he saw the worry in Alecs eyes and Magnus just stared at the pictures. Alec didn't feel save and Magnus promised he would change that but he only made it worse now. "Yeah...I trust you in that. Is it possible for us to go swimming then?" Alec asked and got a side glance from Magnus who was surprised that Alec took it so easy. "I guess Magnus meant his swimming pool in his house anyway so no problem. I'll drive you there tho." Mark answered with a firm voice in the end clearly showing non of them would drive without protection for a while. "Mark, could you wait in the car? I just need to talk with Alexander for a second." Magnus asked and Alec looked at him rasing an eyebrow while Mark only followed his request with a nod. "What is it?" Alec asked when Mark was gone and knew what was going on in the second he saw the guilt in Magnus eyes. "I just want to ap..." "Don't dare to say that you want to apologize. This isn't your fault. Sure the thought of someone following me and my family pretty scares me but I'm sure Mark will find the guy and protect my family." Alec cut him off with a firm voice and Magnus nodded lightly still not really convinced. "Magnus, you did so many things for me. You changed my whole life and I love you, not even this will stop me from that. We will get through it and Mark already said everything will be fine." Alec added and placed his hands on Magnus cheeks caressing them with his thumbs. "If you say so...I love you too." Magnus mumbled now with a more convinced smile and placed a little kiss on Alecs lips who smiled. "I'm ready!" Max said with a toothie grin and had a bag on his back. "That's great, let's go then." Magnus chuckled and picked Max up from the ground making the little boy giggle a little. The drive to Magnus home was a bit more tensed on Marks side and Magnus could see that Mark was more concentrated than usually. "You never told me you have a pool in your house." Alec suddenly said turning his head to the side to face Magnus who only shrugged and smiled at Alec. "It is not that special and we never talked about it. Also I like the ocean and the lake you took me to way more." Magnus answered and Max just looked happily out of the front window. They let him sit in the front seat because he really liked it but he sat on his children seat. "Thanks Mark." Magnus said with a smile when they all got out of the car and Max already stood in front of the front door. "No problem, you know it's my job." Mark answered and they walked to Max who was really excited to go swimming. "Okay you can change already. I just need to get upstairs and take my stuff. You know where the bathroom is." Magnus explained placing a quick peck on Alecs lips who nodded with a smile. "Alec, look he even has a slide!" Max exclaimed excited when he saw the pool of Magnus. "Yeah I can see it, Max." Alec chuckled and Max was already pulling him to the slide. "Go and slide with him I'm waiting in the water." Magnus chuckled and walked inside the warm water of the pool. Max slid down and Magnus waited in the water catching Max when he arived at the end of the slide. "Now you, Alec!" Max giggled and clapped with his hands while Alec sat on the top of the slide. "Ahhh." Alsc screamed a little while he covered his face with his hands because he knew Max would laugh about it and seeing Max laugh was one of the best things in the world. When he joined Max and Magnus his heart could brust from happiness because he saw that warm smile on Magnus lips. "You looked great." Magnus teased a little and Alec shook his head but he was actually blushing.
