"No...I can't do that." Magnus breathed and turned around just before they reached the door but Alec stopped him with placing a hand on his chest. "Not so fast, Mr. Bane. We can do that...you just have to trust me, okay?" Alec asked with a soft smile and rubbed Magnus upper arm in a smoothing way. Magnus nodded lightly feeling his stomach twist a little but he didn't know why he was so nervous this time. He kiddna got used to it but he didn't want to dissapoint Alec and he really wanted to win this with Alec. "Why are you so nervous this time?" Alec asked with concerned look on his face when they were in the room behind the big stage. Alec was glad that they were alone in the room so he sat down on the chair next to them and pulled Magnus down on his lap. Usually Alec was a bit too shy to do things like that but he could see Magnus really needed the comfort now. Magnus was a little blushing and wrapped his arms around Alecs neck snuggling his head in the gap between Alecs shoulder and neck. "Maybe because we didn't have so much time like usual." Magnus mumbled in Alecs neck while Alec ran his fingers up and down Magnus back and he placed a light kiss on the side of Magnus head. "You don't have to worry about it you dance great and I know you will do amazing out there, Babe." Alec answered extra using the name Babe because he knew Magnus loved it when he called him that and he felt Magnus lips curling up to a smile that was pressed against his skin. "Thank you, Alexander. I guess I'm also a little scared to dissapoint you." Magnus confessed and pulled back to look in Alecs eyes which always calmed him down a little. The soft colors and deepness of them gave him a warm feeling in his stomach. "You could never dissapoint me. Never in a million years you could dissapoint me." Alec answered with a smile but his voice was full of honesty and it made Magnus feel better again. "Thanks...I guess I'm just overthinking it." Magnus chuckled a little feeling way better and Alec placed a soft kiss on his lips. "You're very welcome." Alec said softly and Magnus got off from Alec reaching out a hand for Alec because it would be their turn in only a few minutes. Alec had to say that the last few days weren't as happy as he got used to and he spend a lot of time at Magnus place. He just couldn't face Jace and Clary was also pretty down but she seemed to accept the fact that she had to raise the child not with the father. Alec promised her that he would help her but he also asked her to not tell their parents yet because there was still a part in Alec that hoped Jace would come to his sense. "Let's get this done." Magnus said straighening his shirt and Alec chuckled looking at Magnus with admiration in his eyes. "And next Alexander Lightwood and Magnus Bane." The presenter said through the microphone and the door in front of them opened. Magnus heart was beating almost out of his chest and Alec was also a little nervous but he took a deep breath. They both always thought the same- it was just them and there weren't 100 of people watching them. They both went to their place and took their start position in while the room leight was dimmed down. The music started to play and Magnus just let himself go in the moment. When he danced and looked in Alecs eyes he just recalled all the things that happened the last few weeks. The last few weeks were filled with ups and downs also some horrible things happened and Magnus let himself get carried away by the emotion. Minutes felt like hours and he didn't know for how long they danced but he only concentrated on every little move. By the end he just had his arms wrapped around Alecs neck who also held him tightly and Magnus burried hid face in Alecs shoulder. Magnus wasn't quiet sure why he got so emotional but the song and also the dance just reminded him on him and Alec...about their rough times but how they always found their way back to each other. "You were great." Alec whispered softly in Magnus ear not letting go of Magnus for a second while the audience cheered for them.
Alec took the time to hold Magnus tightly and let him calm down a little. "Alec, I can only say this was perfect." One of the judgers finally decided to speak and Magnus pulled back from the hug smiling with teary eyes at them. "I just wanted to tell you how amazing it is from you, Magnus. We saw what happened to you and we didn't think we would see you today but here you are and gave us one of the best performances of the evening...who am I kidding think this was the best performance. You can be really proud of you." The woman said with a smile and another few tears ran down Magnus cheeks but he just couldn't help it. He didn't really knew how emotinal he was over the last month but now he just reached an emotinal state. "Thanks." Magnus sniffed a little and Alec wrapped and arm around Magnus holding him close to his body. Sweat was running down Alecs forehead and he was so proud of Magnus for how great he just danced. "Emotions...that's what I saw today. The emotions I missed the first time are there and you can feel them all around us. You have this special relationship you can see that even you are blind and you us that...I really liked today." The last one said who was usually really hard on the dancers but even he saw that they gave everything in this dance. "Of course I can't give you anything else than a 10." The first man chuckled and held up his card with a big 10 written on it. "I will follow him." The woman only said with a smile and Magnus couldn't stop to smile or the tears falling down his cheeks. "There were a few mistakes...nothing big but I can only give you a 9." The last man said earning a few boos from the audience but Alec anf Magnus didn't really mind. "Tho I hope that I can give you 10 next time." The man added with a smile and  Magnus nodded with a happy smile. "You did great, Magnus." Alec cheered when they were in the room again and hugged Magnus tightly. Magnus also wrapped his arms around Alecs body and burried his face in Alecs neck. It felt good to hear that he did well but it meant ten times more to hear it from Alec than from any other person...//tbc  Did you miss it?
