"Yes mom, it's great here...yeah....okay. Mom...okay I gotta go bye." Alec ended the phone call because his mom started to give really weird advices. She called him when they were just about to leave asking how everything was and if Magnus was still a gentelman when no one was with them. Alec wasn't mad about that and no one should because Maryse was just really worried about her son. Who could be mad about that? But sometimes it upset Alec a little because of his own stupity everyone worried 24/7 about him. It also upset him sometimes that no one really thought he could do something on his own. A little sigh escaped Alecs lips when he suddenly felt two arms sneak around his waist and Magnus laid his chin down on Alecs shoulder. "What's wrong?" Magnus asked and Alec could lean a little back against Magnus body.  "Nothing...just Mom." Alec answered but the smile on his face wasn't really convincing and Magnus hugged Alec from behind. "You know you can always talk to me?" Magnus asked not wanting to push Alec but giving him the security that he could talk when he wanted. "It's just that everyone treats me like I'm out of glass. I know I wasn't strong for a long time but now I am." Alec answered while he closed his eyes and a small frown covered Magnus forehead. "Hei...Alexander." Magnus said while he turned Alec around in his hold and Alec looked in Magnus stunning brown eyes. "We all know that you are strong we just want to make sure you're okay." Magnus added softly and Alec nodded with a slight smile. "It's all my fault...if I haven't been so stupid than non of this would have happened." Alec hissed and cursed himself for how stupid he was years ago. "No! Alexander, don't think like that...please." Magnus didn't know why Alec was so self doubting today but he gussed it was just a bad day. Magnus knew Alec hadn't really control and no one had because sometimes you just felt down. "Can we just go to the market?" Alec asked hoping the market would distract him a little and Magnus smiled warmly. "Of course we can." He said softly and cupped Alecs face with his hands before he placed a light peck on Alecs lips. "I love you." Alec mumbled feeling already better because he knew Magnus was there for him. He felt bad for ruin the mood already on the first day of their vacation but he couldn't help it. Today started amazing but he just couldn't stop brooding over things he couldn't change. "I love you too and don't beat yourself up because you have a bad day, okay?" Magnus asked being able to read Alec like an open book and Alec nodded with a smile on his lips that reached his eyes. "Thanks for cheering me up." Alec answered and Magnus rose an eyebrow in confusion. "I didn't do anything." Magnus said and Alec shyly sneaked his arms around Magnus neck. "You're being here for me and that's enough." Alec answered with a light blush on his cheeks and Magnus smiled brightly. He was glad that he could help Alec and that Alec opened up to him more each day. "Let's go and tonight I want to cook dinner here." Magnus suggested and Alec was really excited when Magnus mentioned just the two of them having dinner. "Can we just go like that?" Alec suddenly asked when they walked hand in hand out of the house and Magnus was confused by a few seconds but then he figured out. "Well they can't do anything...it is hard for people like us in Indonesia but they don't have a law against it." Magnus answered not wanting his boyfriend to worry about who he was. "And by the way you aren't indonesian me either so no need to worry." Magnus added and Alec was relieved but then he thought about what Magnus said. "Wait you aren't indonesian? But you grew up here." Alec asked in confusion and Magnus started to walk down the street with Alec by his side. "I had the choice between a dual or only the american citizenship. I choose the american one." Magnus answered without naming a reason for his decision and deep down he hoped Alec wouldn't ask. "You want to tell me why? You don't have to but you can tell me." Alec just wanted to be there for Magnus like Magnus was there for him. Alec felt a little wierd because he was a little scared of a rejection and didn't know how he should react then. "After my mom considered suicide I hated that part of me. For one year I only felt hate for that place because it took so much away from me but it's different now. I learned to let the happy memories overcome the bad memories and now I have my peace with this place." Magnus answered and Alec was really happy that he didn't have to deal with being rejected. "But you said you missed that place so much." Alec only tried to understand Magnus better and actually Magnus really appriciated it. "Sometimes you really miss something even you have bad memories about it." Magnus answered and the longer Alec thought about it the more he understood him. "Yeah...sounds plausible. Now...what should we cook tonight?" Alec asked when he saw that Magnus was getting sad. "Uhm...let's see what the market has." Magnus answered and he was glad Alec changed the topic for now.
