Act 1

Mayumi decided to take a book to the pool during nighttime. She decided to go there because she was an insomniac and couldn't sleep. During this time period, Sadako saw Mayumi going up the stairs.

Act 2

Somehow, the culprit saw Mayumi go into the pool area and followed her in. Meanwhile, Mayumi was walking around the pool, reading her book. The culprit snuck up on her and shoved her head into the water drowning her. I imagine this wasn't easy for the culprit. During the struggle I assume happened, Mayumi knocked off the culprit's glasses and tore a piece of their coat off. These two pieces of evidence fell into the pool and sank to the bottom. The culprit couldn't have retrieved them because of the nighttime rule.

Act 3

Afterwards, after Mayumi died, the culprit took a tube from the closet in the pool area and put Mayumi in it. They pushed the tube towards the middle of the pool, and left.

"I got everything correct. Right, Riku Shibuya?"

Tamao crossed her hands, glaring at Riku, who was glaring back at her, breathing heavily.

"Time to cast your votes!" Monokuma finally stated, "Will you pick the right choice? Or the dreadfully wrong one?"

Tamao waited for the screen to rise, before clicking Riku's picture.

The screen lowered again and the large TVs slowly fell from the ceiling.

Everyone voted for Riku except for one. That person voted for Shiori.

"Why me?" Shiori asked, genuinely confused.

"You are correct!" Monokuma applauded, "The one who killed Mayumi Kawashima was Riku Shibuya, the ultimate campaign manager!"

"Why?" Chiyo exaggerated the question.

"I think this is the first time someone has ever killed without a motive!" Monokuma cut in.

"Things were getting boring," Riku answered.

Tamao sputtered, "You killed over things being boring?"

Tomoyasu scoffed, "How stupid."

Finally, we agree on somethi-

"You didn't even try to frame anyone."

This time, it was Sadako who sputtered, "What the hell? He literally killed someone because he was bored and you just say, oh you didn't even frame someone!"

Riku rolled his eyes, "Whatever, just start the execution. I don't want to be around these people anymore."

"Rude," Katsushi pouted.

"Alrighty then!" Monokuma started, "I've prepared a very special punishment for Riku Shibuya, the ultimate campaign manager!"

Game Over

Riku Shibuya has been found guilty.
Time for the punishment!

Riku waved goodbye as the door behind him opened and a choker wrapped around his neck and pulled him backwards, the door slamming as soon as he passed it.

It dropped him next to a hill with two podiums on a platform on it. Riku landed in one of the podiums. Monokuma appeared on the other, pressing a screen which looked exactly like the one they used for voting time.

There was a rumbling sound getting louder and louder. Riku stood there, waiting. Monokuma disappeared.

Papers fell from the hill onto Riku, quick enough to cut him everytime they passed him. More and more papers fell and they finally buried Riku.

One of the bloodstained papers fell, and revealed it was a voting paper.

There were two options, Guilty or Not Guilty. The square next to Guilty was checked.

Tamao bit her lip as the TV changed to static, rising back up.

Everyone stood in silence as Monokuma giggled and disappeared.

"Shall we head back up?" Isamu asked.

"Yeah, let's go."

Everyone decided to retire for the night.
