[ 3rd Person's POV ]

The next day, Ian was now in the throne room of the fox castle. Patiently waiting for the males from yesterday and the rumored fox queen.

Just then, he heard the door to the side opened so he turned his attention there and he can feel his heart skip a beat when he layed his eyes on her.

Her beauty can rival even the most beautiful female in the merfolk clan and that was a big thing. After all, merfolks were known to have the most beautiful females.

Even if their females were much lower in population than land females, they would boast to have the most beautiful females but right now, standing in front of him was the most beautiful female he saw.

With her emerald green hair, matching green eyes and white skin, she looked like a goddess to him.

He cleared his throat and shaked his head and gave her a light bow. "It's a pleasure to finally meet the rumored fox queen and I must say your beauty can rival even the most beautiful female in our clan" Ian said with a smile as he gaze at her.

His eyes were filled with adoration and there was no mistaken it, even he himself knows it. He was already smitten with her.

[ Sera's POV ]

I blinked in surprise, after all it wasn't everyday you get to see a merfolk so willingly court a female from another tribe. After all they, along with the Phoenix, nine tails, unicorn and dragon tribe, were known to be the most pickiest when it comes to finding a mate.

"Ah.. It's nice too meet you too. My name is Sera from the peacock tribe, and you are?" I asked, tilting my head a bit at him as Kenji, Roscoe, Marlo and Carlos stood behind me while the rest were behind them. My three Panthern cubs, along with two newborn chicks.

"Ian from the merfolk tribe" he introduced himself with a smile and walked closer to me while holding a basket.

"For you" he said, holding the basket out. I took it, seeing it was silk and I knew it was rare to get this. After all, it was personally made by merfolks and only a few have the ability to make silks.

"I'm guessing you are one of their merfolks who can make silks?" I asked with a small chuckle.

He nodded, "that is correct, not many in our tribe are blessed with the ability to make silks and those who have that ability are usually snatched up by the royals in our tribe" he smiled.

I nodded at him before looking down at the silk again, it was peach colored. Matching his hair and eyes.

"Am I correct to assume that you have accepted my courting?" He asked after a few seconds later. I looked at him with a smile and nodded.

"Yes, I accept you courting. Although you would have to wait until I accept you as my mate" I said and he nodded with a smile.

"I'm sure, a wait for you will always be rewarded. I'm willing to wait if it's a beauty female like you" he smiled softly.

I nodded with a smile before turning to my mates.

"Well I suppose if you are gonna join my family in the future I should introduce you to my mates" I said.

"That's Tora, Kei, Archie, Lucas, Rio, Carlos, Kali, Calvin, Denver, Florence, Kenji, Roscoe, and Marlo" I said, pointing at each male of mine.

"And these are my cubs, Uno, Dos, Tres" I said, pointing at each panthern cubs. "And lastly, Happy and Sleepy" I said, pointing at my eagle and peacock chicks.

"Ah, so the rumors are true" Ian said, blinking in surprise. After all, he was the one who doesn't easily believe a rumor unless he personally seen it.

"Rumors?" I raised a brow and looked at my mates. "Well, there are words coming out about your birth on two different cubs and many believe it while some question and doubt it, saying it's probably some rumor in order for you to gain more attention and mates" Kenji explained, almost growling out at the thought of someone spreading rumors about me saying I did it just so I can get more attention.

"Gosh, and here I thought after kicking Cassie out of here I wouldn't encounter too much trouble" I groaned softly as I sigh.

"Whatever, let them say what they want to say. It'll be useless to deal with them" I told my mates before turning my attention back to Ian and smiled at him.

"We were about to eat, do you want to join us? In that way I can get to know you better and the same goes for you. You can know us better" I offered with a smile and watch as he nod.

With that, we walked to the dining area and I sat down between Kali and Denver and chuckled softly to myself as I watch Ian eye the food with interest.

"Your food smells so delicious, much different than the others would eat" he said, looking at me then back at the food.

"Well that's because we use herbs on them as seasonings" I explained. "Herbs? Can they be used that way?" He asked, slightly shocked and surprise. After all, they were used on only using herbs when they are sick and not put in the food.

"Yes, like for examples some roots would be good in seasoning meat to make them more tastier and delicious. While some can make it spicy, some to bring out the natural flavor of the meat and many more" I said, making him nod in amazement.

"I see, I never thought herbs can be used that way too" he muttered to himself.

I then took the food Kenji handed me, which were roasted short bird and pork meat, a bowl of mushroom stew, and freshly cut fruits and vegetables and a bowl of rice.

"You like to eat rice?" Ian asked, tilting his head as he glanced at my food after taking some food from the little table we had to eat himself.

"Ah yes, I do eat my food with rice from time to time. It's important to have a balance meal after all" I chuckled with a smile as I used a chopstick and began eating and with that he and my mates also began to eat.

After eating, we practically spend the whole day talking and getting to know each other and to say that he was shock on how I treat my mates was an understatement.

By now, the sky slowly turned into a beautiful mix of orange, pink, and yellow as the sun slowly started to set down the horizon.

"I suppose it is time for me to leave, I will see you again tomorrow with a few more gifts" he said to me before turning around and left after smiling at me.

Once he left, I turn to my mates. "Well what do you think of him?" I asked and watch as some of them nod.

"Well he is strong, a six star beast" Carlos said.

"He also has a bit of knowledge of herbs so it won't be hard to teach him a few things. It would be better if you have more than two mates who have knowl about herbs" Denver chimed in.

"He isn't arrogant either" Kei, Kali and Rio chimed up. "He'd be a perfect fit to us" Roscoe said and I nodded at that.

"Indeed, he will be quite the addition to the family. His strong, not arrogant and too boastful of himself and most importantly he gets along well with you guys" I smiled.

{Meanwhile somewhere else.... }

"Cassie, your food is done" a fox mate of hers called out as he gently knocked on the door to the room where his mate was.

The door opened, Jason, Mark, Luka and a few other of her mate was inside, some of them were in their beast form while they slept close to Cassie.

It was clear that they were the favorites and more favored males of Cassie base on how compitent and strong they are.

Jason took the stone bowl and leaf from the male and the fox male left to eat some food left for himself.

"Cassie, here you go" Jason said, bringing her food. It was roasted tiger, rabbit and wolf meat with a few slices of apples.

Cassie just nodded and opened her mouth, wanting to be fed and some of her mates in the room morphed back into their human forms, eager to be the one to feed and pamper her at that moment.

And as she ate, Cassie began to think of a plan. A plan on how to gain more powerful males to get her revenge on Sera for humiliating and kicking her out of Blackwood city a few weeks ago.

'Tsk... Just she wait. I will eventually get my revenge on her and I'll do worse' Cassie silently thought to herself as she continued to eat the food her mates fed her while she thought about the different plans of revenge she can have with Sera if she sees her again.

But who knows what fate has in store, after all even the beast goddess herself is in favor with Sera so no one knows what will happen and what fate might have in store for her, Sera and the other females.
