"See you again tomorrow Sera, and remember what you said earlier" Bailey said with a small yawn as she laid her head on Gray's shoulder. "Mhm I'll help you tomorrow" I said which made her smile before another yawn escpaed her lips.

Seeing this, Gray excused themselves and left. Bailey's other mate just followed after him, watching as their female slowly fell asleep on her mate's shoulder.

"Alright, it's time for you to go to sleep now" Marlo said as he picked me up before I can say anything else. "Fine" I said before I looked at my friends. "We'll talk again tomorrow" I said to which they nodded at before they too were picked up by their respective mate's and left.

I layed my head on Marlo's shoulder and we went on our way back upstairs. But as we we're walking back, we stopped when we heard a commotion.

"Hm? What's the commotion about?" I asked as I lifted my head to see what it was about. What I saw made me sneer. I instantly recognize both Archie and Calvin who were in their beast form while my three cubs were behind them and they were being surrounded by a few lion and tiger beastman.

"Hmph! You should teach your cubs were to run around!" The female of the lion and tiger males said as she was carried by a fox beastman while a few cheetah, fox and flying beastman surrounded her.

Archie and Calvin growled in response to her as they inched closer to the cubs while watching if any of the males tried to attack.

The other surrounding beastman didn't really want to interfere for two reasons. One, they were mated and didn't want to risk their own female and the second is that this was purely a fight between the males of either side.

"Help them" I said as I kept my eyes trailed on my cubs who hurdled together and were also faintly growling. "But.." Florence wanted to say something but kept his mouth shut after seeing me glare at the direction of the males.

"Stay here" Marlo ordered as he handed me Florence and walked towards where my two mates were. From the corner of my eyes I can also see Lucas, Xavier and Kenji walking towards them.

"What seems to be the problem here female" Kenji addresses the female as he stared at her with a frown. "Those cubs weren't looking where they were running and bumped into my own cubs!" The female said as she pointed at her lion cubs.

"Who even is the mother of those cubs, how careless of her to just let her stupid cubs roam around!" She added which made my mates growl in response.

She visibly flinch, not expecting a few other males to step forward and growled at her own mates. "My mate's cubs can freely roam inside my castle. You have no right to insult my mate for being careless and stupid" Kenji said, his voice came out as a growl as he stared at the female.

Her own mates, although wary and threatened, growled back at Kenji. Kenji was ready to shift and probably teach those males a lesson or two before I decided to interfere before anything else happens.

Rio, Tora, Kei, Carlos and Kali also arrived besides me and Florence so I had no trouble asking them going there. "Enough, if my own cubs bump into yours then I apologize but that doesn't give you the right to try and hurt them and you have no right to insult me in my own home" I sneered at her and gave her a glare.

She flinched at my gaze but tried to play it off and acted cocky. "Hmph, pathetic" she said which in return made my mates growl. "You can't hurt me, I'm a female" she said as she held her head high.

She was a whole female, although I don't know from what tribe. "But your forgetting your in my home, which I can put you near the storage room where most single males are" I said making her frown and glare at me.

"You can't do that!" She said and her mates agreed in protest of having their female near so many single males who might try something to her out of desperation.

"I can and I will if I see you close to my cubs again" I said and watch as my cubs run pass Archie and Calvin and went to us. "Hmph! Let's go!" She growled and her fox mate walked away, followed by all her mates.

"Hmph" I huffed in response as I watch her walk away. "Don't be mad now Sera. That female isn't worth your time. How we play some chess and other games?" Xavier cooed and I huffed.

"Your just making an excuse to bully me in playing chess" I grumbled under my breath which made almost all of my mates chuckle in response. "Come on, let's get you something to eat" Kenji said as he reach up and gently ruffled my hair.

"I manage to hunt some boar" Carlos said from behind Kenji and I nodded. "I'll prepare it for you. What do you want to eat? Soup? Roast? Or bacon?" Tora asked and I think about it for a moment.

"I want it roast, and maybe you can just cook some mushroom stew?" I said and he nodded in response with a smile. "Alright, now just return to the room and wait little mate" Tora said and I hummed, Florence took that as a sign and began walking back upstairs.

The cubs followed closely behind us while some of my mates like Kei, Kali, Denver and Rio went to help Tora with cooking. Once we got inside the room Florence put me down on the bed and Xavier was quick to fetch the chess board and made me pout and give him a playful glare.

"I'll let you touch my beastform if you win" he negotiated making me huff as I look at him, then at my cubs. "Cubs you can have your uncle Xavier if I end up losing" I said and my cubs responded with soft and quick roars.

"Hey! That's not fair! They'll bite me!" Xavier whined and I laughed. It wasn't everyday that you see a grown ass beastman complaining to their mates that its unfair for their cubs to bite them.

Xavier kept grumbling how unfair it was as he set up the chess board. We both then spent most of the time playing chess until dinner came.

"Hey! Dang it I was about to win! Xavier throwed his hands up as he looked at Archie in disbelief since he took me from where I was sitting to where the food was.

"He wasn't winning, he was losing really bad" Lucas said which made Xavier pout. "We have a deal so let me touch it tomorrow" I grinned and opened my mouth as Kei pop a piece of roasted meat on my mouth.

"Hm! Yummy" I said which made my mates, who worked hard on preparing the meal, look proud of themselves. "Eat up more little mate" Tora chuckles as he handed Kei two stone bowl filled with meat and another one filled with mushroom stew.

With that, we enjoyed the rest of our evening talking about random things as we ate in peace.

"Woah, so soft" I grinned as I touched Xavier who was in his full beastform. His feathers were white, and his feathers were soft to the touch. "Wow, know I wanna have at least one of your feathers with how soft they are" I muttered as I continued to stroke him.

"You want one?" He asked and I just shaked my head. "It's fine" I smiled before my gaze landed on Carlos and a certain question popped out in my head.

"Hey Carlos" I called out, making my snake look at me. "Do you have an antidote for your venom? Like for when you accidentally bit one beastman and you didn't mean it" I said which made him nod.

"I do, I have a couple of scales in my tail that are far more darker colored than the rest. And it grows again as I shed my skin" he said and I looked at his tail.

"Oh! Can I see?" I asked and he nodded, moving closer before showing me his tail. He indeed had several scales that were far more darker than the rest.

"Cool" I said and my gaze then landed on Marlo and I asked him the same question, to which he responded with a nod and said that he can stab the male again, just with a different paralysis or poison than the other to counter the first one.

"But wouldn't it just get worse?" Kei curiously asked and Marlo shrugged, as if not knowing the answer himself. "That's what I've been taught from the very beginning" Marlo said and we all just nodded.

"Sera, Bailey and the others are looking for you" Denver said as he gently poked his head from the door way. I smiled at him and thanked him, before watching him scurry off to help around the castle and treating the females who got sick while traveling to get here.

"Well, I'll get going now" I smiled and my mates just nodded. Tora, Kei, Florence and Calvin walked behind me and I didn't question it, there was no way in hell they were gonna leave me alone without someone being close by.

All because of all the single beastman who might go desperate enough for a mate. But mainly because it was of a bitch, who thinks everyone should admire and be charmed by her, named Cassie.
