"Woah, there's so many of them. Are there more coming?" I asked as I turned my attention to Kenji. We were upstairs, watching the females and males from different villages that surrounded the city come inside the castle.

It had been two days since the rain started, and many were starting to get affected. Some lost their house and lives due to the flood, landslides or rootless beast who tried to take the opportunity to steal some females.

"Maybe, but some might end up in the other castles" Kenji said and I nodded. A few of my mates, like Rio, Calvin, Archie, Denver and Kali were down stairs helping while the rest stayed with me.

As I watched the crowd, I saw a few familiar faces. "Lydia and Hannah!" I said in delight as my eyes landed on my sisters.

"Can I go down stairs? My sisters are there, I'm just gonna check up on them" I said as I turned to my mates who nodded. Without a second thought, I rushed down stairs making my mates sigh.

"She needs to be careful when going the stairs, she's gonna trip sooner or later" Tora mumbled but soon shaked his head when he saw his mate making a beeline towards a certain group of females.

"Hannah! Lydia!" I said out enough for them to hear. Both turned to me, not only them but also a few females I can recognized.

"Sera!" They all said and went to me. "How are you all? You didn't get hurt right?" I asked, turning to each and every one of them.

Serenity, Fara, Amy, Hannah, Lydia, Bailey and even Vivian were standing in front of me.

"We're good, although the village got destroyed due to the flood so we might stay here for a while even after the rain stops in order for the males to rebuilt the village and secure it" Serenity answered with a frown before turning to the other females.

"Some of us lost our mates due to the flood and rootless beast" she said and I can see, Vivian, Fara and Amy lower their heads.

"Oh, I'm sorry for your lost" I said and they just nodded before they curiously looked at me. "What are you doing here in the castle? Did you also took shelter here?" Amy asked and I shaked my head.

"No, I'm currently staying here in the castle" I said and they nodded. "By that, you mean your mated to the king or what?" Hannah asked with a chuckle and I nodded.

"Really? Wow I now have a friend who's a queen!" Fara said making me chuckle. I then turned my attention to Hannah and Lydia, specifically there body to see if they got new mates.

"Oh? Looks like you two really did a great job in finding a few males" I chuckle, seeing a few marks on their body.

"Uh huh, although most of my mates are wolves and bears" Hannah said and I nodded. "And mine are just random males who I found nice and handsome" Lydia chimed in making me roll my eyes as I smiled at her.

"Uh huh, that's so like you" I chuckled and she just hummed. "Fara, it's time to eat" one of Fara's mate who I can recognize from last time called out to Fara, and soon the other males began calling them too.

"Well I'll leave you guys to eat for now" I said and they nodded with a smile. "Let's catch up later!" Bailey said and I immediately nodded, agreeing to what she said.

"Sera, don't run off the stairs like that, you can get hurt" Tora said once they caught up to me and I just chuckle sheepishly.

"Looks like someone's gonna get scolded" Lydia said and I just huffed, making the other females laugh. "Well, we'll be going now" Serenity said and I nodded and watch as they walked off to their respective families.

"Now, speaking of food I'm hungry" I said which just made Tora and the others chuckle. "Hm? Where's Kenji? I thought he was with you guys" I asked as I noticed that Kenji wasn't here.

"He went to arrange a few things for the females who are gonna stay here" Marlo answered and I hummed in response. "Sera I'm curious about something" Tora suddenly asked as we began walking back upstairs, avoiding some of the males and females.

"Hm? What is it?" I asked, tilting my head in curiosity as I stared at him. "Who can please you better, me or Kei?" He asked and I can feel my face flush.

"Wha.. What?" I asked as my face went red. My other mates just chuckled. "I'm more curious if I can please you better than this wolf" Marlo said as he gestured to Florence.

"I.. Ha?" I can't form a proper sentence as I huffed, refusing to speak any longer or even make eye contact with my mates.

"Awe, is our little mate shy?" Tora cooed making me huff. "Shut it" I said which they just chuckled at. "Hm, yeah I need to know the answer" Marlo said before he lifted me up and I squeaked in surprise.

"Hey! Put me down" I said with a small whine but he just chuckled at me and looked at Florence with a raised brow.

"You coming?" He asked and Florence just nodded making me whine more as they just ignored me and continue their way to the bedroom.

"Awe, don't be mad anymore Sera" Marlo cooed, trying to coax me. "Hmph" I just huffed in response as I turned away from him.

"You still need to meet the other females you were talking to earlier" Florence said, trying to make me face them both.

The place where Marlo's mark ended up didn't surprise me, it ended up on my cleavage which made him snuggle to me more earlier once he saw where it was.

Florence mark was on my left arm, which made him happy. "I'll buy you a few bowl of honey nectar" Marlo tried to negotiate making me huff as I turned back around and face them.

"Come on now, the others already prepared a bath for you" Marlo said as he gently picked me up and went over to where my bath was. "Shoo, let me bathe in peace" I shooed them away and they left, chuckling as they did.

"Guess even if I'm the one here now, the original owner of the body still loved him so much" I mumbled as I got into the basin and touched Marlo's mark.

With a sigh, I just relaxed in the bathe for a few minutes before finally deciding that it was time to finish my bath and go out to catch up with the others.

I got out of the bath and went to change into some light orange colored fur and went outside to find Marlo and Florence standing there.

"Want me to carry you?" Marlo asked with a small chuckle with I huff at but still nodded. He lifted me up and carried me in his arms.

We then went back downstairs to see that some of the countless beastmen had settled. After our little bed room activity, it was now pass noon, close to evening even.

"Sera! There you are. We were looking for you earlier" Fara said as soon as she saw me me being carried by Marlo.

"Sorry about that since two certain beastman decide to drag me somewhere earlier" I huffed as Marlo put me down. He and Florence just chuckled in response as they both stood behind me.

"No wonder there's a new mark" Hannah wiggled her eyebrows at me when she saw Florence mark and I just rolled my eyes at her. "Then shall we go somewhere we can talk?" I asked and they nodded.

We then went to a corner where not many beastmen were, our mates just naturally followed behind us. Although most of them were being wary of Marlo due to his strength but other than that they seem to get along fine.

"I see you choosed strong mates, none of them go below two stars" I commented and I took a quick glance at Hannah's and Lydia's mates.

"Yeah" they both nodded, feeling proud of their chosen males. "We can say the same about you, not only did you manage to get a king as a mate but you got another seven star beast" Bailey chimed in making me chuckle.

"I just got lucky with him during the competition" I said making them raise a brow at me. "Yeah right" Lydia chuckled and I huffed.

"Well, how about you guys? Do you have any males in mind that you want to take as mates?" I asked, tilting my head to the side. "Hm well, I did spot a fox beastman earlier who looked great and strong. But I don't know if he has a mate yet" Bailey shrugged.

"I think his also a fox guard here" she added making me laugh. "Want help with that?" I wiggled my eyebrows at her and she nodded in delight.

"Yes please" she said and I just laughed before I turned to the others. "Well I saw a cheetah beastman earlier. I think his from one of the village that took refuge here" Vivian quietly muttered as she fiddled with her fingers.

"Well we can try looking for him later if you want. It's nice to have more males to try and protect you" I said with a smile, which she returned with her own soft smile.

"Thank you" she quietly muttered and I hummed in response. "Think you can help us too?" Fara asked and I just nodded with a smile.

The rest of the afternoon was then spent with laughter, giggles and smiles as we talked and shared different stories about our experiences and more.

Our males just stood on the side, happy and content to see their females laughing and enjoying their time.

Since my broke ass cant afford any therapist or anything like that I just decided to write and publish another chapter to distract myself from this damn depression and anxiety I'm feeling right now.
