It had been a few days now, and today was the day it started raining. "I wanna go out and play in the rain" I mumbled to myself as stared outside.

"Yeah, I'll do that" I said and went out of the room and then went to the dining table were all of my mates were, preparing lunch.

"Hm? Do you need something little mate?" Kenji asked as he noticed me enter the room. "I wanna go outside" I said which made all of them stop and look at me.

"But it's raining outside, you'll get sick" Denver worriedly said as he looked at me, then outside where he can see the rain pouring down.

"It's not raining that hard yet, plus I would sometimes do this back home. I would go out and play in the rain" I said and looked at them with the best puppy dog eyes I can muster.

"Please" I said with a small pout which made them looked at each other and sigh. "Alright, alright. But if the rain starts to pour harder I'm going to get you" Carlos said which made me grin and nod.

Without waiting for anything else, I run outside with a laugh.

[ 3rd Person's POV ]

Sera's mates watch as she run outside in the rain, her three cubs also following behind their mother, happy to play and be outside in the rain.

"Let's just prepare a warm bath for her after this" Lucas said as he continued adding some firewood to the fire. "I'll prepare some herbs for her just in case she gets sick" Denver said as he began gathering some herbs he can give to Sera later.

"Maybe we should also cook some soup" Kei suggested making the other nod. They then began preparing the ingredients they needed to cook some soup.

[ meanwhile... ]

"Ugh, just when I wanted to go to the market to buy some new furs it began raining" Cassie grumbled under her breath as she looked outside the window.

"Cassie, food is ready" Jason called out, standing on the door way of the room Cassie was in as he held a tray of food. There was some roasted rabbit meat, sliced oranges, strawberries, mangoes and pineapples.

"When do you think the rain's gonna stop?" Cassie asked as she looked at her mate who finally entered the room. "Probably two or three days" Jason answered as he began feeding her some meat.

"That long?" Cassie asked with a groan. 'How am I supposed to go out and scout for potential mates while I'm at the market?' She thought before sighing as she opened her mouth as Jason fed her another slice of meat.

"Yes, there might be a storm so it might take two or three days before the rain stops" Jason said and Cassie just nod.

Jason then continued feeding her, until she finished all the food in the tray. "Do you want to take a bath?" Jason asked as Cassie just shake her head before turning her head away.

Silently sighing, Jason could only nod before leaving the room. "Did she finished it all?" Luka asked as soon as he saw Jason come out of their mate's room.

"She did, although she seemed a little sad that she couldn't go out today" Jason said as he went to clean the tray he just used.

"She'll be okay once the rain stops, she would want to go out right after so let's just wait" Mark chimed in making the other two nod.

"At least this can stop her from finding trouble for the time being" Jason sighed.

[ Back to Sera... ]

"That's enough little mate, time to get inside" Carlos said as he stood in the rain and looked at his mate who was currently playing with her cubs.

"Alright" Sera nodded and waited for Carlos to pick her up, which didn't take long as Carlos immediately picked her up once she stood up.

"We already prepared a bath for you, there's some short bird and rabbit soup too. Tora and Kei also cooked some 'bacon' for you" Carlos said as he began walking back inside the castle.

"Hm sounds good" Sera hummed in response before thinking of some other food she can make. 'If only I had an oven or something that closely resembles an oven it would be great' she thought before trying to remember how Cassie made an oven.

'Right! It was her wolf mate who made it for her to satisfy her needs of food when she got pregnant with his cubs' she thought before trying to remember what he looked like.

"Is there something wrong little mate?" Carlos asked after seeing his mate so silent. "Hm? Oh no. Nothing's wrong, I'm just thinking about something" Sera answered with a smile.

"Alright then" Carlos nodded as they finally got inside. "You should take your bath first" Tora said as he eyed his mate who was wet from playing in the rain for so long.

"Alright" Sera agreed as she wiggled out from Carlos arms and run upstairs to take a bath. Once she arrived at the room, she found a basin with water already waiting for her.

She quickly stripped out of her clothes before getting into the basin, sighing in content as she felt the warm water.

With that, she submerged her body into the water, leaving only her head visible.

[ Sera's POV ]

As I submerged my body into the water, I heard the door open slightly. "Sera? I bought some herbs you can put in your bath to prevent you from getting sick" Denver said as he went over to me, holding a bowl with different small herbs and flower petals.

"Oh, thanks" I smiled at him and sat up to get the bowl from his hands. "Well I'm taking my leave then" he said with a flushed face after glancing at me.

"Hm? Your not gonna leave me alone here are you?" I asked and he stopped in his tracks. "I.. Of course no! I just want to give you some privacy while you bathe" he mumbled, not looking at me.

"Awe, do you wanna join me?" I asked with a small chuckle. His face flushed even more at that but he still nodded in response.

"Good, then come here then" I said as I pulled him closer to me, and when he was close enough I kissed him.

"Your too cute for your own good sometimes" I said after I pulled away to looked at his dazed out face. "I wonder where your mark will end up in" I said as I learned forward for another kiss.

"Carlos no. Stop glaring at him" I said as I saw Carlos glaring at Denver. The poor sheep had to hide behind Kenji as he quietly munched on some corn and sliced carrots. His mark ended up on my back, just like Xavier's.

"Damn sheep he got to you first" I heard Carlos mutter which made me laugh as I shaked my head. I then continued eating my soup while listening to the rain that continued to pour outside.

"So did you already prepare all the things you needed incase some villages decided to take shelter here?" I asked as I turned my attention to Kenji.

"I already did since I am expecting many beastmen from the surrounding villages to come in the city, especially with how the rain is starting to pour harder" Kenji responded and I hummed in response.

With that, we continued eating and just talk about things we can think about.

"How many cities are there?" I suddenly asked, since it was not really mentioned in the novel on how many cities were there in total.

"More than a hundred scattered all around the continent. Some small, some medium sized while some are large scaled cities" Kenji answered and I nodded.

"This is a medium size city right?" I asked and he nodded. I then turned to my other mate's, and asked which city they are from.

Only Marlo, Xavier, and Denver answered since the rest were from villages.

"I came from a large scale city, as you know I'm a prince too. The city where I'm from is Called Autumn city" Xavier said and I hummed in response before turning to Marlo and Denver.

"I came from a small city, mostly inhabited by herbivore beastmen. It's called Sunlight City" Denver said making me nod.

"I came from a large scale city, ruled by six kings. The scorpion king, Tiger, Ape, Bear, Cheetah, Red panda. It's called the Harmony city" Marlo answered making me nod before stopping.

"Wait did you just say red panda?" I asked and he nodded. "Why? You haven't seen a red panda beastmen before?" He asked and I just shaked my head.

"What other beastmen have you not seen before?" Florence asked, slightly curious. "Hm well, I haven't seen mouse, elephants, penguins, red panda, saber tooth tiger, flamingos and many more" I said.

In the novel it was mentioned that there were hundreds if not thousands of different beastmen, but it didn't show some of them.

"Well then little mate, you need to travel around the continent to see all those beastmen" Tora chuckled and I nodded in response. "Yeah! I'm gonna travel all around the continent, before settling into a nice peaceful village where I'm grow old" I said which made some of them snort slightly.

"Your not gonna get old with us around. I'll be sure to hunt you golden green crystals to keep you young" Marlo said and I just chuckled.

"Well alright then" I said and with that, we quickly cleaned up and went to talk more.
