After a few hours of wondering around the forest, I came across several vegetables and fruits. Potatoes, sweet potatoes, cabbages, carrots and even corn and some wheat were just a few of the things I found.

During this, I also saw several wild animals that were rarely mentioned in the novel. My cubs had also captured a few different small animals like lizards, shirt birds, mice, and even rabbits and a few another animals that I don't know.

"It's time to head back" Kenji said as he looked up, seeing the sun was now high in the sky. I nodded in agreement as my stomach growled lightly, indicating that it was time for lunch.

"Tres no, drop that spider. You are not bringing that home" I said when I saw Tres trotting towards me with a spider looking thing.

It was roughly the size of my palm, or even bigger. And it was light blue in color, with a tint of gray in it. Tres looking disappointed as he dropped the spider.

The spider must have been still alive as it scurried off at such a fast speed which made me squeak and jump back in a bit. All my mates looked around in alert but calmed down after a few seconds when they sensed no danger around.

"What happened?" Archie asked as he looked at me, then at his cub. Tres looked down a bit as he let out small roars, probably telling Archie what happened.

Archie growled at him, probably reprimanding him for scaring me. Seconds later, Tres trots over me and rubs himself on my legs while letting out pitiful roars.

"Oh sweetie, it's alright. Just don't do that again okay? I'm really not a fan of spiders" I said and crouched down to pet him. "Come on now let's go" I said and Carlos picked me up before any of my mates can.

Calvin was carrying the two baskets filled with all the things we found, the things that can't be fit in the basket were just carried by Lucas and Kenji. Archie was the one watching over the cubs and the rest were in their beast form, looking around to try and see if there were any wild animals or other beastmen.

"What do you want for lunch?" Carlos asked as he looked at me with a smile. "Hm, well maybe some soup? We did get a lot of vegetables on this trip and there are plenty of herbs back home. I'm sure Tora and the others have hunted some meat or maybe we can just use the short birds" I said and he hummed in response, as he hugged me closer to his body.

"Your body feels nice, especially when it's hot outside" I muttered which made him laugh. On our way back, we met a couple of beastman who were also out hunting for their females and families.

"King Kenji, can I have a word with you?" A bear beastman called out to Kenji. We all stop and stared at him.

"Alright, you can come to the castle. For now I need to bring my mate back since it's time for her lunch" Kenji said and my face heat up a bit, feeling kinda shy as Kenji officially called me his mate in front of so many beastmen.

This was a declaration that I was now officially a queen in Blackwood city. "Alright, I will come there in a bit. Thank you for spearing me some time" the bear beastman said as he eyed me, making my mates growl at him.

"Let's go" Kenji said as he blocked his view and began walking much closer to me. "So I'm now a queen huh" I muttered as I leaned my head on Carlos shoulder.

"You only realize that now?" Kenji asked with a chuckle and I nodded in response. "Yeah, I only did now" I laughed a bit as we entered the city.

"I wanna take a bath" I mumbled making Carlos look at me. "I'll tell Tora to prepare you a bath after your meal then" He said and I nodded in response.

The rest of the walk back to the castle was silence, a comfortable silence. We just enjoyed each other's company.

"So many females and males are talking about you" Lucas murmured as he walked closer to us. "Oh? Really? What are they saying?" I asked as I turn to look at him.

"Is that the new queen?"

"She look's pretty"

"Wow, all of her mate's are strong"

"She's much prettier than the other queens"

"I hears she has a much better personality than them"

"I wonder what tribe is she from?"

"So she's the new queen"

Lucas said and I just hummed in response, it might be very obvious to everybody now that I am a queen now since Kenji is now walking around with me, and some have even seen his mark that was on full display on my stomach.

"Well at least they know now. It'll keep anyone from bothering you, or doing anything to you" Kenji said and my other mates hummed.

"Especially that Cassie" Marlo muttered from under his breath but of course we still heard it. "I don't think she would be stupid enough to mess with Sera who's a queen now" Kenji said making me shrug.

"She won't stop bother me even if I'm a queen. Sure she might not bother me now but who knows, maybe in the future she will" I said and my mates hummed in agreement.

Minutes pass and we finally arrvied back at the castle. "Hey! Don't you dare go inside looking like that! You need a bath!" I yelled out to my cubs who immediately stop just mere inches away from the entrance of the castle.

"I'll take care of them brother" Calvin offered and went to take the cubs for a bath. The cubs followed after him, talking and playing with each other as they followed after Calvin as they went to the backside of the castle.

"I'll go wash these up and ask Denver on which would be safe for you to consume" Lucas said as he and Kenji went inside first, carrying all the things we found earlier.

"Little mate, what do you want to eat?" Tora asked as he and the other went out to greet me with hugs after Carlos had set me down.

"I want to eat some soup, and maybe some fried meat" I  said as I hugged Rio back after hugging the others. "Alright, let's go to the dining area then. Do you wanna take a bath now? Or after you've eaten?" Tora asked.

"Maybe now I think, I'll just take a bath now please" I said and watch as Kali and Kei went up to prepare a bath for me. "Do want me to sew you knew clothes? You have plenty of furs upstairs" Tora asked making me think for a moment.

"Hm sure! And can you find me some furs that are easy  for me to sew? I wanna try sewing some clothes for you too" I said which made him and my other mates stare at me fondly.

"Alright, I'll see what I can find alright?" Tora said and planted a small kiss on my forehead. "Alright " I smiled and waited in the dining area for Kei and Kali to finish preparing my bath.

"Sera, your bath is ready" Kei called out and I hummed. I stood up and went upstairs to find Kali preparing some clothes for me. "Thank you, I'll call one of you when I'm done" I said and Kali nodded as he carefully placed my clean clothes in a stool and left, giving me some privacy to have my bath.

I stripped out of my clothes and got in the basin and let out a content sigh. "Ha~ nothing really beats a nice warm bath" I smiled and sunk my body deeper into the basin until my head was the only thing visible.

"Hm, Cassie is surprisingly quite these days. I wonder if she's planning something" I mumbled to myself as I stated at the ceiling of the room.

"Hm, well it wouldn't hurt to prepare for whatever she might be thinking. Then we have those who get affected by the upcoming storm" I sighed and began thinking of ways to help the beastmen, especially the other females when they did end up staying here.

"Well, we can offer them soups and furs" I said with a sigh. "But you know, I can also take that as an opportunity to find a few more mates maybe" I smiled and began thinking on who Cassie's mates were.

"Oh right! I remember she met a bear beastman. He was originally in love with Sera but she rejected him everytime. He also saved her from being kidnapped but still wasn't accepted. That's when Cassie came" I muttered to myself as I tried to remember every detail on how she met him.

He then ultimately gave up on Sera and several months later, it was said that he began courting Cassie instead. Cassie accepted him after a few days later.

"Oh well, too bad for her. I'll be the one having him. I mean she doesn't need to know that the guy was originally hers anyways so meh it doesn't make a difference if she doesn't know.

And I'll probably just steal all of her mates, well except for her annoying mates. Like the twins" I groaned and remembered that Cassie had two Leopard mates named Peter and Oliver.

They were both princes of  another city, they were strong with six star each and like all men in this world, they looked really hot and handsome.

The only problem was, they acted spoiled and they were super annoying. Even some of Cassie's plan and invention failed because of them which lead to Cassie being bullied and looked down by Sera.

"You know what? She can keep them. I'll make my work easier" I shrugged before grabbing a scrub made out of sea sponge we had bought in the market last time and began scrubbing myself.

Once I was done, I quickly finished bathing and changed into the new clothes Kali had prepared for me. "Little mate, Lunch's ready" Tora called out.

"Alright, coming" I said and quickly brushed my hair so it won't tangle up and then went out. "You look very pretty" Tora said which made me laugh.

"You always say that to me" I said and he hummed. "I know, I'm just reminding you" he chuckled before placing another kiss on my head.
