"Female, what can I do for you today? Are you sick? Is there somewhere hurting in your body?" The healer asked making me shake my head with a smile.

"No, every thing is alright. We just want to buy some herbs if that's alright?" I asked him and he nodded. "Of course, please pick any herbs that you want" he gestured to the corner where a variety of herbs were.

"Tora, Kei can you both pick the herbs?" I turned to Tora and Kei who came with me and they immediately nodded and went to grab the herbs we'll be needing in our stay here.

As they picked through the herbs, I looked around the hut. It seems really warm and cozy here, the smell of different kinds of herbs linger in the air.

My eyes also couldn't help but observe the healer. He was a sheep beastman, he hand fluffy looking greyish blue hair and deep blue eyes. I also noticed that he was a three star beast.

'Hmm, well he does look cute and his a three star beast and another plus point is that his a healer' I thought to myself as I continued to secretly look at the male in front of me without my mates teasing me about it later.

"We're done" Kei said, finally snapping me out of my little train of thoughts. "Oh! Then let's go?" I asked as I watched Tora pay two clear crystals to the healer, who's name I still haven't gotten by the way.

"Alright, let's go" Tora said and we left the hut. "His name is Denver by the way" Calvin said as he gave me a knowing smirk when we got outside. My face instantly flush as they all look at me with a raise brow and a smirk.

"Stop teasing me!" I pouted and looked away from them, which just made them laugh a bit harder. This caused us to gain some attention from the other beastman and females who were passing by.

"Just stop already, if he heard you I will cut off your cuddle privilege with me for a damn week!" I hissed at Calvin which just made him shrug with a smirk.

"Hmm, I think I can handle a week" he said making me huff. "Then two weeks!" I said which made him think for a moment. "Three!" I grumbled making him chuckle as he shake his head.

"Alright, alright. I'll stop, don't cut my cuddle privilege little mate" he said as he ruffled my hair which just made me gasp.

"How dare you!! I just combed it before we left!" I whined which just made him playfully roll his eyes. "Right I'm sorry" he chuckled which just made me huff.

"Let's just go" I grumbled as Xavier picked me up first before any of them can. "No fair! I was supposed to be the one carrying her home!" Rio whined which made Xavier snicker.

"Too bad, I got her first" he said which made Rio curse under his breath. "That's enough now. How about we go look around the market again before going home?" I suggested and they all just nodded except for Carlos.

"You go first, I'll hunt us something to eat for lunch when you get home" he said as he kissed my forehead. "I'll be back home later, stay safe and don't try wondering around without them" he warned me and I just nodded.

Seeing me nod, he smiled and left to hunt outside the city.

"Now let's go explore more!" I grinned as Xavier led the way to the market. "Hmm, what should we buy?" I turned to my mates and asked them as I happily looked around.

But my happy faced didn't last long and my mood soured as I made eye contact with a very certain female I didn't want to encounter.

"Cassie" I mockingly called her came under my breath, which my mates certainly heard that's why Xavier moved a bit closer to the others and handed me to Kali.

"Oh.. What a coincidence to run into you here" Cassie said as she and her mates walked closer to us.

"Yeah, what a real coincidence. The market place is so big yet we still met here, how great" I said as I rolled my eyes at her.

'Ugh... Can she just leave?' I thought and just wish that she would leave already, but unfortunately she didn't since it seems like she wanted to cause trouble and start another fight.

"So are you here for the competition?" She asked as she fiddled with the pearl necklace in her neck, trying to show it off.

"That's none of your business, just leave me alone" I said and just glared at her. By now, countless eyes were on us.

"What? I'm just asking" she glared back and I just rolled my eyes at her. "Whatever, just leave me alone" I said and ky mates took that as a signal to leave, but it seems like she wasn't having that.

"You can't just leave! I'm still talking to you! Get back here Sera!" She yelled and I can hear her mates growling in disapproval that we're just ignoring her.

"I don't care about you, and who are you to order me around. Leave me the fuck alone Cassie" I hissed and sent her a nasty glare which made her flinch a bit but she tried to hide it.

"Pathetic female" I muttered under my breath as my mates growled back at her mates. "What is happening here?" They all stopped when the fox king arrived.

He looked at Cassie before looking at me, who was still looking at Cassie with a glare. "Ahem, please females calk down" He said making me huff with a frown.

"What seems to be the problem here?" He asked as he looked at me. "She won't stop bothering me, I don't even know why she keeps bothering me when I already ended my friendship with her" I answered him.

"And how did this 'friendship' of yours ended?" He asked, slightly emphasizing the word with a confused look.

"She kicked me out of the village and tried to kill my cubs when we met again!" I growled as I remembered how she sent one of her mates to act as a suitor and tried to have me miscarry my cubs.

As I said those, countless gasp were heard from the other beastmen and females around us.

"She tried to harm some innocent cubs"

"I didn't know she has that kind of personality"

"Good thing I didn't court her yet"

"Stay away from her, she might hurt our cubs next"

"Get her out of here!"

"How could she hurts the cubs?"

"It's natural for females to fight but they don't usually even try to harm each other's cubs"

I can hear all kinds of whisper and murmur around us as they all looked at Cassie. And by the looks of it, she can hear it all too. She was fuming mad as her face turned a bit red, either from embarrassment or anger.

"This isn't the end of this!" She yelled at me and marched away from us, her mates quickly following after her in fear of something happening to her.

"Well looks like someone will have less suitors tomorrow" I murmured to myself before turning my attention back to the fox king.

"Thank you for the help fox king" I thanked him with a smile. "You can call me Kenji" he let out a small cough as his tail swished slightly behind him.

"Mhm alright. Thanks for the help again Kenji, see you tomorrow at the competition" I said with a small smile before Kali began walking away and went back to our den.

{ 3rd Person's POV }

The fox king stood there as he watched the female he had began to like, leave with her mates.

'She called me by my name, it sounds so nice' he thought to himself and smiled as he recalled her calling his name.

His thoughts then wondered to the other female. 'I need to keep an eye on her' he thought to himself before leaving after he dismissed the crowd that had gathered.

And as he walked back to his palace, he began thinking of things to gift the female he liked tomorrow.

"Maybe I should give her those" he muttered to himself smiling and nodding as he rushed back to his place to prepare his gift tomorrow, he was gonna make sure he had the best gift to give to her tomorrow.

"Ahh! I hate that bitch!" Cassie yelled as she throwed a stone bowl back at her den. "How dare she embarrass me in front of all those females and males!" She growled as she walked back and forth in her room.

"She even dare say that in front of the king! How can I make him my mate now?!" She pulled on her hair a bit, making her mates panic as they saw her hurting herself.

"Cassie, please don't hurt yourself. You can hurt us but please don't harm yourself" Jason was the first to rush to her as he tried to gently pull her hand away from her hair.

He can feel her claws dig through his arms but he didn't mind it as it didn't hurt much and this was better than seeing his mate hurting himself.

"I'm sure there will still be males willing to court you. I know that there are still males who will come over tomorrow from different villages and small city so don't worry okay?" He tried to comfort her as he looked at the other males.

The others were busy trying to find things that will at least try to appease their mate. 'Maybe she should indeed stop looking for trouble with the other female' Jason thought to himself but he never dared to speak that out loud in fear of his mates anger.

He would just need to keep a close eye on her and try his best to get her out of trouble in every way possible.
