"I can walk on my own so stop worrying about it" I huffed as I walked towards the healers hut. My mates being the over protective males they are kept on insisting to carry me.

"Um.. Please wait!" I heard someone say making me stop in my tracks. I raised a brow when I saw Fara and a few other half beast walking towards me.

"Um, can I help you?" I blinked in confusion on why they wanted to talk to me. "We wanted to ask if you wanted to be the leader of our little group" Fara sheepishly said.

"Eh? Are you sure you want me to be the leader of your group? Why though?" I asked as I looked at her then at the four females behind her.

"Well as we saw you are the current village chiefs mate. Plus your also beautiful so you already filled two out of the three categories" one of them answered. She was also from the lion tribe.

"Are you really sure you want me to be your leader?" I asked and they nodded in response. "Um, alright. I'll think about it later, for now I need to go to the healers hut" I explained to them.

"Are you sick?" Another on asked, she was a wolf female. "No, I'm going there for the healer to check on my cubs" I slightly patted my stomach.

"Woah, how lucky. I've been trying to get pregnant for a few years now but no luck" Fara sigh as she looked at her own stomach.

"Well, maybe you'll have some this year. Just have faith" I smiled at her making her smile too.

"Mhm, we won't bother you any more. We hope your cubs are healthy" she said as she and the other female run back to their respective families.

"Looks like you have your own little group now" Kei chuckled making me huff. "Yes as you can see" I offered him a small grin as we continue on our way to the healer, with me still ignoring their request to carry me to make it faster.

Minutes later, we finally arrived at the hut and I knocked on the door. "Ah female. Please come in" the Kyle, the healers name that I just learned last time, said as he stepped aside.

I nodded and went inside with Archie while the others waited outside. "May I have the permission to touch you female?" Kyle asked as he looked at me then at Archie.

I nodded and held up my wrist to him. He then began checking my health and my pulse.

After a few minutes later he smiled at us. "You have three healthy male cubs, congratulations" he said making me sigh in relief.

"Thank you" I smiled and stood up as Archie payed him a clear crystal. And before I can even say a word or take another step, Archie scooped me up and began walking out of the hut.

"Eek! Archie put me down! I can walk on my own" I whined but it all fell into deaf ears as he continued to walk where the others were.

With a huff, I just crossed my arms and let him be. There was no use arguing with him anyway, this guy was more stubborn than me sometimes.

Just as we were about to leave, a frantic looking wolf came running to us. "Village chief!" All our attention turned to him making him gulp but he still proceeded to explain why he was looking so frantic.

"Rootless beast. We saw some rootless beast fighting some males and those males had three females with them, a half beast and two whole females" The wolf explained.

"How many males are there to fend for those females? Gather some males to help them. Now!" Rio ordered making the male nod.

He shifted into his wolf form and run, howling all the way. It alerted all the males in the village as a dozen of males came out and rushed after the wolf.

"Take Sera back. We'll go and help" Lucas said making Archie nod. "Me, Kali and Kei will stay with her. The three of you go" Archie said before putting me in Kali's back since he already shifted into his lion form.

They then didn't waste another second and rushed me back home, still being careful on making me comfortable all the way.

"Kali will stay with you upstairs. Me and Kei will guard here just in case. We can't risk anything happening to you, especially now that your pregnant" Archie said as we arrived back at the house.

"Alright" I didn't even protest at this. After all, I wasn't also gonna risk myself nor the lives of my unborn cubs.

Kali then went upstairs and layed down, allowing me to get down from his back. After I got down, he shifted and tied a cloth on his lower part.

"Sera, don't stress about it too much. It'll be bad for the cubs" Kali said as he pulled me into a hug.

I took a deep breath and calmed myself, knowing he was right. There was no need to stress this out as it would be bad for the cubs.

We both stayed in the room for more than ten minutes before Tora came inside smiling. "I think you should see who the females are" he said before leaving, this made me quite confused so I stood up.

But before I can take another step, Kali scooped me up and went down. He then went outside where I can see countless males gathering around.

My brows furrowed in confusion until I saw a familiar black hair. And as if sensing someone looking at her, she turned to my direction and grinned.

I wiggled my way out of Kali's hand and run towards her. "Bailey!" I grinned and gave her a tight hug. "Sera!" She hugged me back and we both stayed in that position until someone coughed.

I pulled away from Bailey and looked behind her. "Cassie" I nodded towards her before returning my attention to Bailey again.

"Wait, so your the ones who got chased by some rootless beast? How?" I raised a brow as I lead to her our front porch.

"The village was attacked. The number of rootless beast were much more than what usually attack us. Countless males died that time" she looked down on the ground.

"I lost two mates and mother lost three. I also lost my three youngest brothers" tears began to pool in the corner of her eyes when she said this.

"I... How can that happen? Weren't there any beast guarding the village? Or patrolling around?" I asked in shock and instinctively put a hand on my stomach.

"There were, but it wasn't enough" she bit her lips and sigh before looking at my hand, which was on my stomach.

"Don't tell me... " she looked at me and blinked in surprise when I nodded with a smile. "Mhm, that's right" I gently rubbed my stomach.

"Congratulations!" She grinned and pulled me to a hug again before she was interrupted by one of her males.

"Bailey, it's time to leave for now. You need to rest and need a healer to check up on you" he said, ready to scoop her up.

She let out a huff as she pulled away and allowed him to scoop her up. "I'll be back later Sera!" She waved me goodbye as was being carried away by her male. Her other males followed after her.

Once she was gone, my attention shifted to Cassie who was already looking at me. My eyes trailed down her body and I saw she had some new males, three new males to be exact.

I can one bear mark on her left thigh and two new wolf mark on her hips and shoulder, but none of them were close to her chest. Not even Luka's since his mark was on her right shoulder blade.

"Do you need anything?" I asked and stopped myself from frowning. 'Sera no, even if she kicked you out of the village last time it's still bad to make enemies with the protagonist' I calmed myself down and stared at her with a raise brow.

She didn't say anything and just scoffed before walking away, Jason and her other males followed after her without any complaints.

"Eh? What the heck is wrong with her?" I blinked in surprise at her action. "What's with that female's attitude?" Kali asked as he watch her walk away.

"She was the reason why Sera got kicked out of the village we were from. She kicked her out after one of her mate gained the village's chief title" Kei explained making Rio and Kali who just knew about it scowl.

"How dare a half beast kick out a whole female out of the village" Kali growled and glared at the direction where Cassie left.

"Let her be. It's already been more than a week since that happened. Just let her be, and I'm sure you know who she is right? Base on the story I told you" I said the last part to Tora, Kei, Lucas and Archie since they were the only ones I told about the novel thing.

"I probably should explain to you guys on where I came from" I muttered and went inside. Rio and Kali followed after me while the others stayed outside to guard around, just in case some nosy males tried to listen.

"Okay, so can you two sit down? This might take a while" I said as they sat down.

I then spent the next hour explaining things to them.

Hello! It's me again! I'm just here to  clarify some things so there will be no misunderstandings in the future.

First off, in this world there are no ferals and only rootless beast. Which means that the ferals  (snake, lizards, scorpions, turtles, etc)
can have the same right as regular beast to court a female.

A females can accept them, some females in the future chapters will even have 10 to 15 ferals beast mates. And so will Sera, so stay tuned for that one!
