I awaken due to the sound of growling from outside, with furrowed brows I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I was bit confused at first on where I was before the events of yesterday came crashing at me.

'Ah right, I died and got reincarnated here as Sera's I thought and stood up. 'Now who the fuck is growling at my front door this early?' I huffed and made my way outside.

"Who the heck is growling so loud?! If you wanted to fight take it somewhere else!" I snapped, feeling kinda pissed that my sleep was interrupted.

I look in front of me to see Tora and a wolf, probably Kei, who was carrying a dead deer and a few other tigers and wolf.

'Right, this village was mostly made up of tigers and wolves, well there were a couple of foxes and bears to.

The other males seemed to be happy to see me and one of them immediately shifted. "Female! I'm a one star beast, and I can hunt you very delicious meats so please choose me!" He said before another one shifted.

"No females choose me. Wolves are better" The other guys said before the others shifted and started saying other things.

With a slightly annoyed sigh, I turned to Tora. "Tora, chase them away" I said before turning back inside.

'Even of there are perks of being a female, the is also a downside, and that's being constantly courted my annoying males. I wonder how Cassie handled all of that' I huffed and waited for Tora to return.

'Wait a minute, Kei was also there' I thought before I went back outside to see Tora chasing the males away and a wolf sitting outside with the dead meat in his mouth.

As if sensing me, Kei turned to me and wagged his tail happily. He then shifted, "my name is Kei, a two star wolf. I wasn't able to introduce myself yesterday" he smiled making me nod.

"I'm Sera from the peacock tribe" I introduced myself. Soon, Tora finally came back.

"Can you cook the food now? I'm quite hungry" I said to Tora who nodded and took the meat away from Kei.

"You should watch on how to cook the meat. I like to eat mine with herbs" I said making Kei look at me in confusion. "I'm not sick, it's just I prefer to eat my food with herbs. They make it more delicious" I said which earned a nod from him.

"Just call me when your done" I said and headed back inside.

I layed back down on the furs and let out a small sigh. 'I wonder how's Cassie doing right now? Hmm from what I remembered she immediately mated with Jason last night right? Or was I wrong? I mean that was put in the novel' I shrugged before I heard Tora call for me.

'Hm? The meat is cooked already?' I thought and went outside, but when I got there Cassie was standing outside.

"Oh, hello Cassie" I gave her a small wave. 'Ah? Was this in the novel? I don't think so' I furrowed my brows in confusion on why could she be here.

"Sera! Hi" she greeted with a warm smile. "What brings you here?" I asked as I glance at her, then at Jason then back at her.

"Nothing special, but look!" She grinned and pointed at the wolf mark on her shoulder. My eyes slightly went wide at this. 'What? That can't be right? From what I remembered Cassie has Jason's mark on her chest. So why is it on her shoulder?' I thought and blinked in surprise.

"You mated him with already?" I asked making her nod. "I did, how did you know?" She raised a brow making me look at Tora.

"A mark of the male you mated will only appear once you finished mating with them" I answered as I turned my attention back to her.

"Oh! How about you?" She asked and looked over my body and furrowed her brows. "Oh, I still haven't mated with Tora yet, but I'm planning on doing it later" I turned to glance at Tora who was happily looking at me.

And he wasn't the only one who was happy too, Kei was also happy. "Oh, you got a new mate?" Cassie asked as she turned to Kei.

"No, his my suitor. Once I mated with Tora, I'll accept him as my mate" I answered making her nod.

"Lucky you, I wonder why not many males go to me" she sighed and looked around and furrowed her brows when she saw several Wolves and tigers hiding not far from my house.

"Uh who are they? Your suitors too?" She asked. "Huh? Oh no. They're just a bunch of males who are trying to court me. I thought Tora chased them away earlier" I huffed and looked at their direction.

While I turned my attention to the other males, I didn't notice Cassie's face darken a bit. Jealousy rose inside Cassie's chest as she saw the males looked at Sera with admiration.

'How is it that she has countless males fawning over her already when we just arrived yesterday?!' Cassie scowled in her head before looking away.

"Well, that's all I want to tell you. And I'm glad your doing okay" Cassie said and left with Jason. 'Huh? What's wrong with her' I thought and blinked in confusion.

"I think that female might be wondering while you have so many males fawning over you already" Kei commented making me look at him.

"Hm, maybe she is. But it's kinda understandable right? I mean I'm a whole female while she's a half beast" I muttered before turning my attention at the meat.

"Is the meat ready?" I asked making Tora nod. "I want to look around the village after this, I want to meet the other female's" I said as Tora handed me a leaf with some meat.

"You guys should eat too. And I'll teach you later about other herbs you can use so that there's different taste in the meat" I said and began eating the meat.

As I was walking around with Tora and Kei, I kept on glancing around. Before another female caught my attention.

She was already looking at me. 'That's Bailey right? Kei's sister and the chief's female cub?' I blinked as she approached me.

'Only her and her mother were the whole females here, no wonder she has at least 15 males following behind her' I looked at her as she stopped in front of me.

"So this is the female you were talking about brother? Hmm she looks pretty" She said as she turned to Kei.

"I'm Bailey. The chief's female cub" she held her chin up as she introduced herself. "I'm Sera, nice to meet you" I gave her a small smile.

"I like your hair. It seems pretty" I commented as I looked at her hair. "Of course it is, although I'm gonna cut it again. Having long hair is a hassle when they get tangled up" she said with a huff.

"Well that's a pity. Oh wait I think I just have the solution for that" I said making her look at me, as if wanting me to continue.

"There's this plant call, aloe vera and that's we use for our hair. As you can see, my hair isn't really tangling up with each other even though it's long" I said and brushed a finger through my emerald green hair.

'Oh damn, that's silky' I blinked in surprise. "Hmm, it does look good" she nodded. "I can ask Kei to give you some when I find some, how about it?" I offered making her think for a moment.

"Alright. What do you want in exchange for that" she said making me shake my head. "I just want us to be friends" I stated with a small smile.

"Friends?" She curiously asked making me hum. "Yes friends, it's like a partnership between two females. They talk with each other, share stuff just like I did and other thing's" I explained.

"Hmm, alright. I'll agree to be your friends after you give me some of those aloe vera thing" she nodded before leaving with her mates.

I let out a silent cheer as I watch her walk away. 'Great, less problem for me to deal with in the future. If I can just get close to her, I can get close to her mother. Which mean having little extra protection for me' I grinned and continued on my way around the village.
