That jerk was late again.

With a cup of tea sitting on the side of the table, Taehyung lazily rested his cheek against the palm of his hand. His eyes were cast down, focusing on scribbling something onto his notebook. A small sigh past his lips as he wrote 'Seo Jil-su' on the page with a black pen.

His eyebrows furrowed together wondering where the hell could this swimmer be right now. It frustrated him so much. Like this Jil-su guy clearly knew he had an interview here today so why wasn't he here yet? Does he think he's some sort of celebrity? Well, okay. So he's famous but that's merely an excuse.

Unless... he had an emergency?

Or maybe he just enjoyed making others miserable with his terrible punctuality.

Taehyung yawned as his now tired eyes focused on his hand moving the pen over the paper. He added two devil horns on the top edges of the swimmer's name, not feeling any better about this whole situation.

No, this wasn't childish.

He needed to express how much he hated waiting for Jil-su, so what else did you expect him to do? Scream 'I hate you' loud enough for everyone in this cafe to hear? He certainly wasn't in the mood to have that many eyes piercing judgement in his direction right now, thank you very much.

When the brunet's head dropped once showing that he'd almost fallen asleep, he gave up. I'll just go back to the office and explain this to Mr Han, he thought. Surely the man would cut Taehyung some slack. Maybe he'd hand this interview over to someone else to handle. It was a shame though because this was his first almost-big break. His one step closer to becoming a serious journalist.

Guess it just wasn't his time yet.

The chair scrapped back as Taehyung stood up with the strap of his bag slung over his shoulder. He turned to the side, about to take one step when his face stopped inches away from someone's chest.

He gulped once, feeling his heartbeat increase at almost bumping into the stranger. And when he hesitantly looked up, a taller guy with a black face mask and an equally black cap on gazed down at him. The taller man's face was completely covered except for his sharp eyes, narrowing down on Taehyung.

"Where are you going? Is the interview already over?"

"Huh-" What is he- oh! The brunet's eyes widened as he stepped back, the back of his knee knocking the chair behind him a little. "Mr Seo, you're here!" He bowed abruptly.

The unfazed swimmer simply walked over to the chair opposite Taehyung, straight away taking his seat not bothering to wait for the other.

How polite...

The journalist sat down on his previous seat, ignoring the nerves coursing through him at the moment.  He reminded himself that this was just an interview. Yeah, it's fine. Everything's fine... and after this I'll get to see Jeongguk so things will be even more fine.

Taehyung found that thinking of the raven-head often calmed his nerves.

"Well, are we gonna do this or not?" The same voice spoke out from behind the black mask.

"S-Sorry, I'll just get the questions out." The brunet hated how rude the other was being but he ignored that thought, quickly taking his notebook out and opening it to the last page he'd written on. The sooner they started, the sooner this will end.

Okay, you can do this.

He took in a deep breath before reading over the first question. "So Mr Seo, the first thing your fans want to know is where you grew up-"

"One question." The same voice interrupted him.

Huh?

Taehyung was confused as to what the other meant so he lifted his head up from his notebook to face the man in front of him. Only the man had removed his cap and face mask, revealing his rather... good-looking face.

A mop of light blond hair fell over his head leading down to the ends of his bangs that covered his dimly lit brown eyes. He had a mole sitting on his right cheek and his skin tone was tan but that was understandable as his skin was probably exposed to the sun a lot.

"What's the matter Princess? Never seen a handsome face before?"

By now, Taehyung's eyes were the size of saucers. He cleared his throat before shifting his gaze away from the arrogant man. "I-I just- what do you mean by one question?"

He heard the other sigh. "I mean that I'll only be answering one question so make it a good one."

"But- but there are like thirty-five questions here." He reasoned.

"Well too bad Princess. I have to train after this."

Princess again? He suddenly hated this word so much.

"Stop calling me that." Taehyung said out before he could stop himself. Although after saying that, he really didn't expect Jil-su to smirk back at him.

"Why not?"

Is he serious?

"Because it's unprofessional." The brunet squeaked back, feeling his confidence waver. He kept his gaze down the whole time.

There was a long pause before the swimmer leaned over the table a little, resting his elbows on either side of the table. "You're talking about being professional? I can see my name scribbled on your notebook there. What is this? High school?"

"No! I-" The brunet instantaneously shut his book, the tips of his ears turning red.

"Do you have a crush on me or something?"

"No!" Taehyung answered right away not caring that his voice was gradually getting louder. He wanted to slap this idiot so bad.

Who the hell did he think he was?! Never in the brunet's life had he ever met someone so arrogant and just plain cocky (and not in a good way). Half of Taehyung wanted to just get up and leave right there and then but the rational part of him told him to just endure this.

So he took in calm breaths and sighed. "Look, can we just get back to the interview?"

Jil-su took a moment to stare at the other, his head tilting to the side. "I don't think that's possible. See, now I'm late for my training already."

"But you just got here." Not to mention you were suppose to be here an hour ago.

"So?"

Taehyung was left baffled at this point. "How am I suppose to interview you if you have to train now?" He gritted out.

Jil-su smiled. "I guess we'll just have to meet again."

"But that's not- hey what are you doing?!"

The swimmer swiftly grabbed the brunet's phone that was resting on the table. Taehyung tried reaching for it back, slightly getting off his seat a little to lean forward.

"There. Now I'll contact you in regards to our next meeting."

By now, the brown-haired man was shaking in anger. He wasn't the type to get angry fast but he decided right there and then that he hated this blond, who was now already standing up. Taehyung was so mad he'd explode if this prick spoke out another word right now.

Jil-su just had to shut his mouth and walk out the cafe entrance.

But of course he had to say one more thing.

Of course he had to say:

"Goodbye Princess."

This was it for Taehyung. He shot daggers at the back of the man now leaving the cafe. He let out an angry huff and then turned away from the entrance, eyeing his phone on the table. He took it into his hand and stared at the gadget with buzzing thoughts. Lastly, he groaned tiredly not being able to keep all that anger inside him for long.

Great, that man had his number now.

A long sigh escaped the brunet (probably for the billionth time).

Why couldn't he ever get one decent assignment to do at this job?

Later into the day, after spending hours at the office doing some other work (and maybe a few rounds of P VS Z), evening approached. Also, it was time for Taehyung's date with Jeongguk. He was feeling excited even though some parts of his body ached from sitting hunched over his work desk for the entire afternoon.

"Hey..."

Jeongguk said with an adoring smile when the older got into his car. Before the brunet could've answered, the raven-head had leaned over from the driver's seat to place a long sweet kiss onto his lips.

They pulled away from each other with smiles on their faces. At that moment, Taehyung noticed the tired look on his boyfriend's face. Guess he wasn't the only one who had a hard day at work today.

"Oh gosh, I'm so glad to finally get out of there." Taehyung said with a sigh, also placing his backpack somewhere on the backseat.

Jeongguk watched the other. "Tough day?"

"You have no idea."

"Well don't worry... I'll be sure to take your mind off it tonight." The younger smirked.

A light blush dusted over the brunet's cheeks before he shyly grinned back at the other. He was all giddy inside now.

Although his happiness was short-lived because he then remembered something. Taehyung began to feel around his pockets for something and then groaned. From the other side, the raven-head furrowed his brows watching his hyung.

"What's wrong?"

"I forgot the apartment keys. I left it on my work desk."

"Don't worry about it. We can sleep in the car tonight." Jeongguk dismissed the issue and pushed the handbrake down, ready to step on the gas pedal.

The older quickly shook his head. "No, then we can't get into the apartment later. You can sleep in the car tonight. I need our bed so I'm going to go get it."

Taehyung was out of the car before Jeongguk could stop him. So the younger just sighed and waited. The radio played some soft lo-fi music in the background. Neither boys knew the name of this radio station but it basically played wordless retro tunes twenty-four seven, so they had it on by default all the time.

All of a sudden, a loud chime echoed through the Mini Cooper. Jeongguk turned his head to the source of the sound and ended up looking at his boyfriend's phone that rested on the passenger's seat next to him.

The raven-head would have ignored it but the message instantly popped up on the front screen, illuminating the car with a dim bluish glow. And even after reading over the text, Jeongguk would have still ignored it if it had not been for one word that caught his full attention. The message read:

Tomorrow, Seoul Skyline Hotel, Conference Room B, 2 P.M. See you there, Princess.

Jeongguk's already tired expression morphed into a furious one, subconsciously clenching his jaw tightly. He already had a fucking bad day at work today (well, everyday at that company was a bad day to him) and now this? He wasn't mad at Taehyung at all. No. Without hesitating even the slightest bit, Jeongguk could confidently say that he knew his boyfriend would never ever cheat on him.

NO.

What triggered him right now was just one simple thing.

Who the fuck was this moron that had the balls to call his Taehyung Princess?
