Outside of his office there was already a big commotion regarding the new employee. It didn't take long for everyone to know that this was Rudra Oberoi, Jhanvi's son. With every women in the company all hyped up to get cozy with the new Oberoi Riddhima was in her office in a foul mood. Ever since Gauri was almost assaulted her dad has been targeted. The Raheja enterprise is no less powerful as the Oberois. However, she was the only heir with no business prowess like Omkara who has taken the reigns over the Oberoi empire. She wasn't a fool not to know that this was Omkara's doing. When her father questioned her she immediately blamed Gauri. A new employee who has brainwashed Omkara.

Flashback

"Dad! It's not my fault! I have tried and tried to get rid of her but it's not so easy!"

Abhimanyu had only one job for his useless daughter and that is to marry Omkara Oberoi. Raheja's Enterprise was not like how it use to be. It was slowly declining and soon all that he has worked for will be lost. His only hope now was to make Omkara his son in law. In his heyday he tried to seduce Jhanvi but was too greedy and tried to have Svetlana too. Who would have thought that in the end he would end up with no one. Luckily he had leverage to force Jhanvi to take Riddhima under her wing. Women were sure weak creatures but Omkara was not the same.

"Who is this girl? How could she compare to a Raheja?!"

Riddhima's eyes were filled with disgust. "A village girl! Not worthy of him at all!"

"Village girl? Show me a picture."

Riddhima knew her father was not a good man. The only reason he even treated her well was because he was unable to have children after a car accident many years ago. The many partners he still had during the night still made her skin crawl. Fortunately she is older now and has many private houses throughout Mumbai to escape to.

"Here. This is her!"

Abhimanyu took one look at the photo and knew why Omkara has set his eyes on this little girl but for some reason he felt a familiarity with this face. Suddenly the image of his old friend flashed across his mind. "Shatki." Abhimanyu quickly picked up the phone to call his assistant.

"Get me an appointment with Ragini Malhotra."

With much confusion Riddhima couldn't help but ask after her father had hung up the phone.

"Malhotra? Aren't they on the verge of bankruptcy?"

Grinning evilly Abhimanyu chuckled. "They are and now it is time to make a deal. A deal that will solve all of our problems."

"Deal?"

Abhimanyu smirks "Soon you will have a stepmother....."

Thinking back to that conversation with her father Riddhima was still left with confusion. But she was too busy to ponder more about it. Today she found out that Gauri has taken a leave of absence. This was just perfect! Tomorrow was the day they would present the dress and record the commercial of Old and Classy. Riddhima's lips curves up into a proud smile as she imagines the utter humiliation awaiting for Gauri.

"Let's see you finally cry Gauri."

Omkara's eyes were sharp as brows twisted. The more he read the more disgusted he felt. How could a father do that?! That woman was the same age as Gauri! It wasn't enough for him to cheat his wife and daughter but he had to hurt them to the point Gauri lost.....her mother. His entire body exuded a cold chill as his dark eyes dimmed. No wonder Gauri could not trust in a man. The man that was suppose to care for her all her life until she could meet him is a scum. The more he read how Gauri grew up as a princess in her father's palm but was suddenly discarded made his blood burn. Not only did her father leave them but he actually took everything away! Leaving his Gauri to work and take care of her sick mother. Pounding his fist onto the table Omkara read the names of the two people that had hurt his woman.

"Mahotra....Ragini.....Shatkhi Sharma......"

Clenching his jaw Omkara quickly called Khanna. "Get me everything on the Mahotras!"

Khanna has never heard such a chilling tone from his boss before but since he was the one who collected all the info on Gauri he was already prepared.

"Boss I am already doing it now. You will have everything by the end of today."

"Good...very good."

"Boss...did you still want to make things harder for Rajeha? They have lost a lot this quarter due to us. By now they should already know it is our doing."

"So what of it?"

Khanna: "...."

"Until my woman is in a better mood everyone else should continue to suffer."

Khanna: "....." (including me...)

"Oh Gauri~ this is the best feeling ever!" Shouted Bhavya who was letting the masseuse work her magic.

"I am glad you are feeling better."

"Gauri...you are so lucky to have Omkara. He is every woman's dream."

A soft tender smile appeared on Gauri's face as she let her body relax. "Let's not talk about him today."

"Why?" Bhavya asked as she signal to the two masseuse to leave them for awhile.

With her mind clear and her body calm Gauri breathed out a long tired sigh.

"I am afraid the more I talk about him the more I can see how good he is."

"It's been so many years Gauri. You haven't even seen your father and he hasn't even tried to find you. He is no longer in your life. You should move on and try to find happiness. I can see that Omkara makes you really happy."

"I know. But the shadow of my father......is still there. You know what I am afraid of Bhavya?"

"What?"

"Even though he has done such horrible things to my mom and I, I am afraid that I am just like my mother. Afraid that I still care and love him. Stupid huh?"

Bhavya hurriedly scrambled off the table to hold her friend's hand. "You are not stupid. Your heart is just too big."

"It's just so unfair for Omkara that I am like this. What if one day he looks at me and see all the suspicion in my eyes? He will be hurt. How can I do that to him when I know myself too well? I am unable to trust him completely Bhavya. It's worse that he is Omkara Oberoi. A man that every woman wants. It's just too unfair."

Hearing Gauri's voice tremble Bhavya held her even tighter. "You are right. Let's not talk about Omkara today. Today we will relax and have fun! Men! We don't need them at all!"

Gauri couldn't help but laugh. "Okay. After all this pampering what do you want to do next?"

"EAT! EAT! EAT! EAT!"

They stayed at the spa for a good 2 hours before getting dressed. As they made their way towards the door of the Spa Gauri's eyes widen in shock.

"No......how could she be here?....No...."
