Chapter 34
Rudra was is a dilemma. He has never seen his cousin act this way before. Omkara was always a very calm, cold, and collective person but the murderous look on his face now instilled fear in him. He wasn't sure what kind of steps Omkara would take when Gauri was involved.
"Rudra! I said who is it!" Omkara roared as his patience was wearing thin.
His eyes was becoming darker and the lines narrowing between his brows was very intimidating. Thankfully just when he was about to say the names his phone pinged.

Bhavya: Rudra please tell me you haven't told Dilpreet who was responsible for tonight.
Rudra: Not yet.
Bhavya: Good. Don't. Gauri wants to handle it her own way.
When Rudra pulled his eyes away from his phone he could feel his cousin walk up closer to him. Omkara was always taller and when he gazed down on him Rudra quickly tucked his phone back in his pant's pocket.
"Rudra...I will not ask you again."
Rudra swallowed a mouthful of cold air. His cousin no longer showed uncontrollable anger and his voice was now calmer. This was even worse then before. The dark eyes looking down on him was no longer asking but demanding. What was he suppose to do now. He had already revealed that he knew who it was and there was no way he could fool Omkara now.
"I will not lie to you Om. I will give you a choice. That was Bhavya who texted me. She said Gauri wanted to take care of this on her own and did not want me to tell Dilpreet. So you tell me. What do you want me to do?"
He was hoping that his cousin would respect Gauri's wishes but when he saw that devilish grin appear on Omkara's face he knew he was wrong.
"Do I look like Dilpreet to you?"
Rudra: "...."
"Say it."
Rudra: Om. What will you do to them?
"Them?"
Rudra felt the sweat on his back dampening his shirt. His cousin was like a beast on the prowl and every word was leaking more information. He knew that his cousin was a very thorough businessman but he has never seen it first hand.
"What are you going to do?" Rudra asked again.
"Whatever that will satisfy me. Now tell me."
"But if you took care of them......Then you rid of Gauri's chance to feel that sense of satisfaction."
When he saw Omkara's eyes tremble slightly Rudra knew he was successful in changing his cousin's mind. Truly it was only Gauri who could stop him now. Even mentioning her name was quite effective.
His anger still has not subsided but he didn't want to do anything that might upset Gauri even more. Would she be upset if he took care of things on her behalf? Yes she would.
"Alright. I won't force the names out of you tonight. I will give Gauri time to do it her own way. Just by observing her actions I will come to find out soon enough."
Rudra didn't know if his cousin's words were comforting or not. The only thing he knew was that these two girls had only time on their side. Once he finds out who they are there is no telling what his cousin might do.

It was Sunday and Gauri woke up feeling much better until she checked her phone which she was charging by her nightstand.

Riddhima: Hey Gauri I hope you are okay. Last night was crazy huh? I was so scared! Don't worry. Ishana and I went to the police station and made sure they will never see the light of day! Hopefully next time we will have a better time.
Gauri's eyes grew cold reading the message that was at the top of her list.
"Next time? Do you even think I would be stupid enough to get caught in your trap a second time?"
As she continue to scroll down reading her messages her mood soured even more.

Ishana: Gauri I hope you are feeling better. If you want to hang out today call me up. I'm also very shaken.
~Text~
Ajay: Gauri I am very worried about you please call or text me back.
Gauri hesitated a bit when she read Ajay's text that time stamped 5 in the morning. He must have been quite worried about her.
Gauri: I am fine.
When she pushed the sent button Gauri decided that was the last time she would ever agree to any work outing that would have her stay out too late.
As she finally crawled out of her warm bed and into the bathroom for a morning shower Gauri could hear Bhavya messing around in the kitchen. The clanking of pots and pans made her laugh as the water trickled down her face.
"That girl...."
Bhavya was trying to watch a youtube tutorial on how to make pancakes but for some reason her pancakes either stuck to the pan or burnt to a crisp.
"What the hell?! Again?! Why do they make it look so easy?!"
Gauri could already smell the burnt food as she stepped out of her room and seeing Bhavya's face already made her morning.
"What are you doing? You have flour and some sticky stuff all over your face."
Bhavya tried to wipe her face with her sleeve but it just made things worse. The char bits were all over her clothing that now she manage to smear it it on her cheeks.
"Whoa. You need to step away from the kitchen Bhavya. I don't know if you are trying to cook or apply clown makeup right now."
Bhavya had to admit defeat when she saw her last pancake.
"Why does it keep sticking to the pan?!"
"Because that is not a non-stick pan" laughed Gauri.
"What? Non-stick? Damnit! I've been at this for more then an hour!"
Bhavya looks at the clock on the kitchen wall and felt even more dejected.
"Sorry Gauri. I wanted to let you sleep in and look....it's 9AM and still no breakfast."
Gauri took the apron off of Bhavya "It's okay. Let me whip up something real---"
Suddenly there was a knock at the door.
Bhavya: "I'll go see who it is."
"Mornin---Bhavya hun...what happened to you?"
If it wasn't for the big bag of food in his hand Bhavya would have shut the door in Rudra's face.
"You just don't know how my morning went. Total disaster and you are trying to tease me when I haven't even eaten? Are you tired of living Rudra?"
With his big smile Rudra holds up the bag of food while Omkara held the coffee cups.
"Well I am here just in time."
Gauri had just finished cleaning Bhavya's mess when she saw Rudra and Dilpreet walk in. She still haven't even dried her hair and was wearing her pink rabbit onesie. Luckily she still had on the apron but it was drenched in pancake batter.
"Morning."
Today he wore a plain grey t-shirt and khaki pants along with his usual grey mask.
"Morning."
Omkara couldn't help but want to look at her a bit longer. Her damp hair told him that she had just showed. But what was funny was that she still preferred to dress like this. Was this how she spent her days on the weekends? Favorably for him his mask was hiding his happy grin but as he was about to approach the kitchen he heard Rudra's voice.
"Gaur--"
Rudra didn't know why Omkara suddenly used his body to block his view. All he wanted was to call them over to eat breakfast.
Omkara: Why don't you go and change. We will wait for you.
Gauri felt embarrassed. She thought the apron was big enough to cover her childish PJ's but apparently Dilpreet saw through it all. She nodded her head and darted straight towards her room. Omkara tried to hold in his laughter when he saw the bunny tail and the ears as she ran passed him. She was always so quiet and reserved that seeing her dress like this was a treat. It made him feel that he was able to see another side of her.
As he returned to the table to wait he could see Bhavya constantly staring at him.
Rudra: Why do you keep looking at Dilpreet when you have me sitting here?
Bhavya ignored her boyfriend and continued to stare at Omkara.
"I want to thank you for last night. If not for you I don't know what might of happened to Gauri."
"How is she?"
"She is fine. She was a bit shaken after the ordeal but she was able to fall asleep."
Bhavya couldn't tell what Dilpreet was thinking because unlike how he looked at Gauri all she saw was a cold pair of eyes.
"Well...thanks for bringing breakfast but after this you guys should go. Gauri needs some peace and quiet right now...."
Dilpreet: "I understand."
Omkara's main purpose today was to see that she was alright with his own eyes. So when Bhavya asked for them to leave after breakfast he was okay with it. If Gauri wanted space he will give it but then suddenly there was another knock on the door.
Gauri who had just stepped out of her room also heard the knock.
"Bhavya you don't have to get up. I'll go get it."
"No...I'll do---"
Before Bhavya could even get up Dilpreet was already standing behind Gauri who was about to open the door.
"Morni-----"
He could see his eyes glaring back at him and suddenly the hot cups of coffee fell from his hands.
