As soon as gunshots were heard Detective Song, Jin, and Jimin couldn't wait any longer. It's not like the gunshots could kill Chaeyoung and Jungkook but just the thought of innocent people possibly being murdered in there was enough to make Detective Song kick into action followed by the other two males. He scoped out the area, noticing that the security they had tried so hard to avoid were now nowhere to be seen. They rounded a corner and noticed that the entrance to the mansion was wide open. It was like they were invited to come in, as if someone knew from the very beginning that they were there. It was risky and it was more than likely a trap but they had no other option.

Seungheon turned to Jin and Jimin and signaled them to remain absolutely silent. The younger ones were on the verge of a heart attack while the oldest of the bunch was thriving on instinct and adrenaline. Detective Song slowly pulled out an unlocked gun from the inside of his coat and held it carefully in front of him. Jin and Jimin gulped as they saw the gun but tore their eyes away and flinched in surprise when they heard loud laughter followed by "Master! Master! I killed one more just for you!" The sickeningly jolly voice was getting louder and louder.

"Damn, we need to get a move on and make our way inside to hide before whoever that is sees us." Seungheon stated, snapping the terrified boys behind him out of their nervous daze. Carefully, all three males were moving up the grand entrance and sneaking their way inside on the detective's quiet command. As soon as they made their way through the massive front entrance and into the living room, the doors behind them automatically shut. Jin and Jimin jumped at the sound and reached out to hug each other while Seungheon tsked and aimed his gun frontward as if waiting for whoever closed the doors to suddenly appear before them. "Would you look at that...it seems like the next sacrificial offerings have arrived voluntarily. In what way should I kill you? Maybe you would like to be shot as well, huh? Nah, that's too boring...but a good way to start." The voice they had previously heard before entering the mansion was now present somewhere in the living room but no one could locate where exactly it was coming from. The man's voice echoed and bounced around from wall to wall, making everyone turn in multiple directions to try to locate the sound.

Detective Song was alert while Jin and Jimin were on the verge of a panic attack when they heard the sound of a gun cocking. The detective's eyes looked around in all directions, eyes widening when he could finally see the glimmer of what seemed to be the tip of a shiny new chrome pistol. "GET DOWN!" he yelled, tackling Jin and Jimin down onto the ground behind a luxurious sofa right before the first gunshot was fired. "Bang! Bang! Bang!" shouted Jinwoo, firing the gun around in all sorts of directions like if the current situation was just a game rather than a real-life situation with actual consequences. The detective moved off of the other two and instructed them to remain low to the ground and hidden. Jin and Jimin were covering their ears and shutting their eyes, hearts practically thudding out of their chests from fear.

Song Seungheon was about to jump up and fire his gun at their attacker but a sudden series of bloodcurdling screams interrupted his plans from happening. The screams were so loud and painful they ceased all former activities and demanded their full attention. "JUNGKOOK!" that one scream sent a shiver down Jin and Jimin's spines. It was so full of pain, horror, terror, and any other negative emotion that could be expressed all at once. Jin's body began to tremble, eyes glazed with tears as his mind spiraled into all the things that scream could pertain to. "J-Jimin-ah...T-that was Chaeyoung screaming...w-we need to find them NOW!" Jin didn't wait to hear anything from anyone and instantly jolted from his position on the floor and ran like his life depended on it. "JIN HYUNG WAIT!" Jimin shouted, jolting up from his spot to follow after his erratic hyung. "BOTH OF YOU WAIT!" Detective Song watched in horror as the two young boys moved out into the open. He saw a million horrible images of Jin and Jimin being shot to hell in a matter of seconds but none of them came true.

Instead, a deep rumble was heard quickly followed by an intense quaking sensation that made everyone currently standing fall onto the floor. All doors were opening and closing at different times, creating a horrible obnoxious sound. All glass objects were shattering one by one, throwing shards in all kinds of directions. Jin and Jimin covered themselves to prevent glass from harming them while Seungheon attempted to get up just to be roughly thrown against a wall. Laughter could be heard coming from the living room and Jin and Jimin opened their eyes to look that way. "HA! It's starting! Soon, I'll get my daughter back and we'll go back to being a happy family!" Jinwoo stood as best as he could and raised the gun he had been holding, aiming the thing directly at Jin and Jimin who were currently completely exposed.

Seungheon groaned in pain as he got up from the floor, he raised his head, eyes widening when he realized that the lunatic from before had his gun directed towards the youngsters. He moved quickly, fighting against the things falling from the walls and the pieces of ceiling crashing onto the ground. He was unbalanced as heck as the house kept shaking, but he still managed to grab his gun that he had dropped as he slammed into the wall. He rapidly pointed it towards Jinwoo who was having a hard time aiming at Jin and Jimin since they had gotten up as well, dodging things and making their way upstairs. Detective Song brought his attention to Jinwoo, aimed his gun, and shot the other man's gun out of his hand. "Leave them alone and deal with me first." He grunted, aiming his gun yet again while trying his best to gain stability due to the continuous shaking floor. Jinwoo let out a wicked smile and turned to face the detective, completely ignoring Jin and Jimin who had managed to finally head upstairs. "Let's go then, detective."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jin was having a harder time focusing so Jimin had saved him from falling objects a couple of times as they had gone up the stairs. "H-Hyung, you need to be more careful!" Jimin rebuked. No matter how much Jin wanted to concentrate it was just easier said than done. Chaeyoung's bloodcurdling scream still ringed in his ears and every time it did he could feel goosebumps. They had been calling Chaeyoung and Jungkook's names but they hadn't heard a single bit of feedback. Not only that but the mansion was still trembling and as soon as they made their way upstairs both males seemed unnaturally exhausted. Jin was trudging through the halls, weakly calling out Chaeyoung's name while constantly being slammed against walls or onto the floor.

Jimin was having a really hard time breathing and would have to stop every few minutes to catch his breath and to control his body's urge to pass out. There was no doubt in either one of their minds that the demon was present somewhere in the house. It was the only explanation as to why the house was going berserk, the painfully dense atmosphere, and why Chaeyoung had screamed the way she had. If that was the case then it made both of them all the more anxious, especially Jin. Something had happened and that something had happened to Jungkook. He could feel it in his soul that something was very wrong and if they didn't find them soon then things would get a lot worse. Both were still looking into each and every room on the second floor since the doors had stopped opening and closing by themselves. However, all searching ceased when they met up in the hallway and one of the doors at the very end suddenly opened by itself. From where they were standing they couldn't see a thing. The only thing they noticed was how their bodies automatically began to shake in apparent fear and how pitch black the room seemed from far away. Jin and Jimin looked at each other for only a few seconds before they gulped down the knots in their throats and made their way closer to the now open room.

By now the mansion had stopped trembling so they could move without suddenly being thrown against a wall. They did need to maneuver carefully though as there were broken things all over the floor, making them take a bit longer to reach the open door. Every step they took was closer and closer to the room but the room itself seemed to be getting further and further away. They were only a few feet away from the door when they heard quiet footsteps coming from the inside of the room. Jimin's heart practically erupted from his chest when what came into view from the room was the one and only Park Chaeyoung. That happiness was short-lived though as Chaeyoung raised her face, showing how blood was oozing out of her eyes, nose, and lips. Jin and Jimin choked on their breath, retreating a few steps as they looked at Chaeyoung in silence.

(A/N: WARNING: Creepy Image Below)

Chaeyoung stepped further into view and tilted her head left to right, cracking her neck with each movement. Not only was blood covering her face and clothes but the ghostly pale and transparent Chaeyoung they had been with previously was now a dark shade with black smoke trailing out of her form. She didn't say a word at all, instead she opted for walking towards them with long strides that unintentionally freaked Jin and Jimin out. "C-Chaeyoung...w-where's J-Jungkook?" Jin muttered out, slowly backing away from the approaching girl. Chaeyoung didn't reply to his question nor did she react. She just continued walking straight ahead. "C-Chaeyoung? Stop walking, will you? STOP!" Jimin's voice was loud and clear but still received absolutely no reaction from the girl who it was directed to. Both males were walking backwards, trying to get away from whatever it was walking towards them. Chaeyoung sped up until she was right in front of Jin and Jimin.

(A/N: WARNING: Creepy GIF Below)

They gulped in fear, Jin being the one to attempt to touch Chaeyoung but was instead thrown up and then slammed down to the ground harshly. Jimin called out Jin's name in worry only to receive the exact same fate as his hyung. Jimin was held up on the ceiling by an invisible force for a few seconds before being slammed down roughly onto all of the rubble.

Chaeyoung continued to walk forward while Jin and Jimin gasped for air and whimpered in pain. A few shards of glass had pierced their way into their skin but that didn't stop them from attempting to get back up. "A-are you alright, J-Jimin?" Jin asked, taking a shaky breath every time he moved. Jimin nodded, looking over at his injured hyung. "H-how about you?" Jimin asked back, managing to lift himself off the ground with the help of the wall next to him. "I-I've been bet-better." Jin informed, also managing to get up and lean on the wall beside him. They both looked back to where Chaeyoung was still walking and even though their bodies were in pain they still decided to follow after her. Being in Chaeyoung's presence was making it incredibly hard for them to keep conscious. Each step they took was like climbing the top of a really tall mountain with little to no oxygen and it made them feel light-headed. The sounds around them were tuned out so they weren't sure whether or not Detective Song was okay but they hoped he was.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They had followed Chaeyoung up several flights of stairs, instantly covering their noses due to the foul smell that filled the floor they were currently on. Jin couldn't stand the smell for long so he ended up running to a corner and vomiting. Seeing Jin vomit made Jimin want to double over and hurl but he shook it off and turned to look at Chaeyoung who was now looking at them from a few feet away. "Chaeyoung..." he whispered, taking small steps towards the still girl. "Chaeyoung, what's going on? W-Why are you acting like this? W-Where is Jungkook?" There was a short moment when Chaeyoung's eyes flashed genuine sadness, her eyes almost watering as if trying to say something but that quickly went away and the previous emotion was replaced by pure rage.

The quaking that had ruined the beautiful interior of the mansion had returned yet again followed by an ear-shattering scream courtesy of Chaeyoung. Jin and Jimin had to cover their ears immediately, both feeling extremely dizzy as if they were about to pass out any time soon. "W-We have to get a grip!" Jimin shouted, looking over at Chaeyoung who had stopped screaming and was now backing up into a bookshelf at the end of the hallway. She maintained eye contact with the boys, a terrifying smile lighting up her features. "Come and find me." she mouthed before disappearing from their sight.

Jin's lips quivered as he watched Chaeyoung disappear through the bookshelf. It was more than obvious that something happened to his brother because Chaeyoung had been triggered by his name. Jungkook was bound to both of them. If Jungkook wasn't with him and he wasn't with her then that meant that Jungkook was gone. Jin was overcome with desperation and anger as he lifted himself off from the now stable rubble-filled floor. He ran with all his might, tripping a few times and gagging due to lack of air and the putrid smell that was getting stronger. He made his way over to the bookshelf that Chaeyoung disappeared into and banged on it like a madman. "GIVE HIM BACK! PLEASE! GIVE HIM BACK TO ME!" he shouted, his sobs filling the eerily silent hall.

Jimin slowly raised himself off of the ground and watched in silence as Jin yelled at nothing. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO JUNGKOOK?! WHERE IS HE?!" Jin continued to slam his hands against the books on the shelf, hands bloody from all the force he was using. Jimin couldn't watch for much longer as his hyung called out the demon in a provoking manner, continuously slamming his hands, feet, and full body against the bookshelf who surprisingly hadn't lost a single book. Jimin raised an eyebrow at that and immediately approached Jin. "W-Wait...hyung!" Jimin watched as one of the punches Jin gave one of the books activated some sort of switch. Jimin quickly grabbed Jin's right arm and moved him back as the bookshelf slid to the left revealing a wooden door in the process.

Both boys had to use their coats to cover the horrific smell emanating from the bottom of the newly discovered door. Considering the elegant and luxurious feel of the rest of the house, the tattered wooden door hidden behind the bookshelf seemed well out of place. It looked old and worn out, like it could break with just a simple knock. "W-What? A door?" Jin moved away from Jimin and hesitantly reached out for the door's doorknob. Jimin watched as Jin turned the doorknob and then let it go, both seeing how the door opened slowly with an piercing squeak. Their coats were back on their noses instantly as the pungent smell intensified tenfold. "T-This reeks. W-What the hell is this smell?" Jin complained, taking a step away from the open door. Jimin just shrugged his shoulders and stepped forward. "We have to go in, hyung. I think Chaeyoung was leading us in here. It's not the Chaeyoung we know and love but she has to be somewhere deep inside. We have to save her."

Jimin's previous fear vanished and he stood tall while looking back at Jin who seemed unsure of whether or not to proceed. Jin lowered his head and shook his head, walking further away from Jimin who had reached a hand out to him. "I-I don't think I can do it, Jimin-ah. I-I...I'm scared." Jin's tears waited for no one as they fully rolled down his cheeks, head lowered in shame. Jimin let out a small smile and approached his hyung, giving him a tight and comforting hug. "I-I'm scared too, hyung...but I want to believe that I can be brave. I don't know what happened between Chaeyoung and Jungkook but he wouldn't want us to just stand here and do nothing. The Chaeyoung we saw earlier is not the one we know but as I stared into her eyes I got a glimpse of the real one. One that is hurting, one that is pleading to be set free, one that needs us to save her. While in the car Chaeyoung had made me promise her that if anything went wrong I was supposed to take everyone and leave...everything has gone more than wrong but I can't leave–not without her."

Jin's head was spinning with many negative possibilities but then a beautiful image of Jungkook teasing an angry Chaeyoung back when the younger was alive flashed across his mind.

He could clearly hear his brother's laughter as he pulled on Chaeyoung's chubby cheeks. He saw a red-faced Chaeyoung chasing after Jungkook with a frying pan in hand as they headed his way. "Hyung! Tell her to stop throwing things at me!" He could see Chaeyoung huff in annoyance and look straight at him with tear-filled puppy eyes. "Oppa! Tell him to stop picking on me!" Jin could practically feel his head turn back and forth as the youngsters chased each other around him. His heart filled with amusement as he watched Chaeyoung tackle Jungkook to the ground and then pull his hair while the younger grabbed her wrists. Both struggled around with each other before pausing for a few seconds and then breaking into a fit of laughter. They hugged it out and looked towards the oldest with their arms outstretched and goofy grins on their faces. Chaeyoung's hair was pointing in all directions as well as Jungkook's from when both rolled on the ground and pulled at each other's hair. Their faces were scrunched up into expressions of pure blissful joy, eyes shining brightly as they looked up at him expectantly. "Hyung!" "Oppa!" both said simultaneously, acting like babies when they made grabby hands in his directions. The youngsters looked at each other playfully, cheeks red from held in laughter. "We want cuddles!" they joked as they looked at the oldest before breaking into yet another fit of laughter.

Jin's face was a whole mess of emotions. His smile was a mix of sad and happy as the fond memory came to an end. He hadn't even realized he was crying until a heartbroken whimper left his mouth. Jimin had pulled away to stare at the older worryingly. "Hyung...are you okay?" Jin looked down at Jimin and smiled. He pulled away from the younger and quickly wiped his tears away. His heart was hurting immensely and he was terrified as heck but his mind had been made up as soon as the bubbly image of Chaeyoung and Jungkook played in his mind. Ever since Chaeyoung came into their life both brothers had never been happier. Chaeyoung was the reason they became so close and developed the relationship Jin greatly treasured. They took Chaeyoung in in hopes of saving her but it was Chaeyoung who saved them when they least expected it. Things had changed a little after Jungkook's passing but just like the dark moments they shared they also had some of the best moments ever. It didn't matter that Jungkook was a ghost now. There were times when Jin had the urge to just pull his brother in for a hug or ruffle his hair like he used to but he was grateful with the present. He could still spend time with the two people he cared about most and he would do anything to protect them.

Jimin's worry was replaced with confusion when Jin gleamed down at him. His eyes were bight and twinkling due to a batch of fresh new tears. "You're right, Jiminie. Let's go save, Chaengie. Jungkook wouldn't want me to stand here and watch her waste away after all we've been through. We've come this far and there is no way we can leave without her." Jimin chuckled and nodded at Jin's words. "Alright, let's go then." They carefully walked through the door, noses covered and hearts in their hands. The door led into a dark hallway that was clear of any obstructions besides the occasional shoe or tossed article of clothing. Both gulped but remained determined when they came across a large steel door.

Jimin was the one to reach for the doorknob this time however before he could even touch it the door squeakily opened by itself. They didn't even have time to react to the door when they had already turned around to throw up whatever contents were left in their stomachs. The smell coming from the newly opened room was so horrid that it burned their eyes and made them water. "O-oh my u-ugh..." Jin was wiping the remnants of the vomit from his mouth as he turned to glance upon the steel door that was opened slightly. Jimin looked up as well and both flinched when they heard a faint giggle coming from inside. They took a painful breath, trying to regain the determination and bravery they had mustered before. Jimin lightly pressed his right hand against the ice-cold steel door, both warily eyeing the contents of the new room as the inside made itself known.

"CHAEYOUNG!" They screamed in unison, dashing through the pitch-black room to the only spot that was lit up. Chaeyoung's body was placed towards the end of the room over a bed of red roses. Her hair was slightly curled, face dolled up with some makeup, her body was covered with a beautiful white satin gown full of crystal detailing that sparkled with the light, and some clear crystal shoes just like Cinderella. She was just lying there, looking like she was having the most peaceful slumber of her life. Her hands were lightly placed above her stomach, a shiny metal glimmering from one of her fingers. The boys ran but they didn't get far as both tripped on something they couldn't see due to the poor lighting. The only thing visible in the room was Chaeyoung lying on the floor.

(A/N: WARNING: Mild Gore Below)

Suddenly, a loud cackle could be heard and the once dark room came into full brightness. Jin and Jimin squinted, their eyes having a hard time adjusting to the new brightness. Once their eyes could focus they screamed in horror and gagged in disgust, instantly rising from the floor and moving away from what they had tripped on. A pile of rotting corpses adorned the floor they had just been resting on. As they looked around the room they could see limbs upon limbs, bones upon bones, and corpses upon corpses. That was the reason why the smell was so bad. The room reeked of death and they had just been lying on it. Both males wanted to throw up but there was nothing for them to get rid of. Their stomachs were literally empty and even if they had anything to get rid of they didn't think they had enough energy to do so. They felt drained, sick, and on the brink of unconsciousness.

"Welcome to the playroom, dearies~" They could faintly hear a woman's voice coming from Chaeyoung's location. Both of them turned in the direction of the voice, seeing as a woman kneeled beside Chaeyoung's body. She was holding a brush, gently stroking Chaeyoung's hair as she hummed a song. The woman's hair was long and messy, appearing to be somewhat wet. Her clothes were tattered and covered in dry blood; her exposed flesh was covered in deep scratches. Jimin felt absolutely disgusted and anger rushed through him when the woman gently caressed Chaeyoung's face.

Jin's eyes were not focused on the woman on the ground, instead they focused on the massive alter-like structure right behind her. It wasn't extravagant but it was large and filled with hundreds of people's pictures, locks of hairs, unlit candles, body parts, among other things. "J-Jimin...a-alter..." Jimin was so focused on the woman's hands on Chaeyoung's body he hadn't even noticed the alter until Jin pointed it out. "Ah yes, the alter. The pictures you see here are all the people that have helped us keep Chaeyoungie alive all this time. It made a promise that as long as we kept our quota it wouldn't take our baby. We made a mistake as all people do but we found a way to fix it and it worked...at least it did until our baby wouldn't wake up one day. She looked just as peaceful as she does right now. I stroked her hair lovingly, whispering to her to eat her breakfast but she never opened her eyes. We tried everything but nothing worked..." Jin and Jimin clenched their fists in anger and kept a close eye on every move the woman made.

The woman lifted herself from the ground, body moving as if she was somehow broken. They could hear all sorts of bones cracking while she moved but it all stopped when she fully stood up. She had her back facing them as she continued to speak. "We had given up hope but then master showed up and informed us we would be having special guests over anytime soon. Five new guests...three of flesh and blood....one who has passed but remained...and our very own Chaeyoung. We were told that her spirit lived on and it would have to return eventually so we had to be patient. We wanted to make sure that when our baby came back to us that she wouldn't have to worry about master so we made more offerings...our staff. They were good to us but our daughter's life is more important. Master was happy but then it then told us something that made us really happy..." the woman trailed off, slowly turning to look at them.

Jin and Jimin gasped in horror when the woman finally faced them fully. "W-what the hell?" Jin muttered, arms tightening around himself. Jimin was left speechless. His eyes boring onto the woman's face. Park Haeun's face was elongated, eyes huge and bulging out of their sockets, and her mouth was stretched out wide across her face into a chilling smile making her take on a bird-like appearance.

(A/N: WARNING: The Momo Creepy Image Down Below)

This woman didn't look human. The woman looked like a demon herself. In the blink of an eye the woman was right in front of Jin's face, a hand tightly gripping onto his neck. "H-Hyung!" Jimin shouted, lunging forwards but the woman had already moved out of the way. Jimin could only watch as Jin was dragged away by the woman who looked back at him with a smirk. "Master said you were special...master will deal with you alone." With that the woman disappeared along with Jin and his ear-splitting screaming.

Jimin fell onto his knees, fists punching the ground repeatedly in frustration. He could have done something but it all had happened too fast. He wasn't given the chance to help his hyung even though he had been standing so close. "Master said you were special...master will deal with you alone." The woman's words replayed again and again as he banged his fists onto the ground in anger. "W-what does this all mean?!" he asked out loud, his inner turmoil coming to an end when a heavy and oppressing atmosphere washed over the room. "It means you'll be dealing with me." As soon as Jimin's ears recognized the voice his whole body broke out in goosebumps. He quickly looked back towards the voice's direction; his mouth fell agape when he saw who it was. "C-Chaeyoung..."
