Detective Song frustratingly ran his fingers through his hair, turning his head in order to avoid the disappointed eyes directed towards him. He let out a deep breath, shaking his head as he attempted to think of what to do next. It had been a week since he had ordered police to go out and search for Lee Dongwook but nothing had come of it. Just like with Park Chaeyoung, no one knew a single thing about where Dongwook could be or what he had been up to. All things associated with the man had been completely wiped off any system. No records of ever being the brother of Lee Areum, no records of him ever being his brother in law, no records of him ever living in Seoul, no records of him even being born in South Korea in the first place.
All of his existence had been wiped clean as if the man was based on pure imagination alone. He had asked his men to go out and locate those who had been associated with Dongwook before but no one could be found. He was the only living person that had any proof that Lee Dongwook had ever existed and it was driving him mad. He had even started questioning himself on whether or not it had been Dongwook who was accompanying Park Chaeyoung that one time. No matter how many times he tried to make himself believe that he was mistaken and that she could have been with anyone else in the world, there was no doubt about it, the man with her at that time was definitely Lee Dongwook.
He had dug out old physical documents where Dongwook's name was printed as the brother of his deceased wife but they were no use. The physical documents held no value if the man's existence had been completely wiped out of any platform South Korea had to offer. Anger and confusion built up every time someone would look at him with pity in their eyes as they gently tried to console him for the loss of his loved one. Someone had even tried to give him counseling as they believed the man was creating a false individual in attempts to heal his reopened wounds; Song Seungheon had had enough. He had gone to his office and searched day and night to try and find an explanation as to why someone's existence would suddenly get wiped away as if nothing. Through his extensive research, he had managed to find some more of the same kind of cases that all coincidentally took place in South Korea. People had filed 'missing people' reports to police stations all around the country but the people they insisted had gone missing did not exist. The cases would be reported once a month but had now grown up to at least five people a month.
With new information in hand, Detective Song had made his way to Kim Seokjin's home to inform him and Park Jimin of what he had discovered. Usually, he would have them come to his office but he had seen how deteriorated they had become and he hated how broken they looked every time they came to his office just to hear bad news. So, that was why he currently found himself sitting in Seokjin's living room, completely avoiding eye contact as he gave them yet another dose of bad news.
Jin could hear the sigh of defeat Jungkook gave as he stood near the sofa they were currently sitting on. Jin couldn't blame him as he had felt quite defeated after the continuous amount of bad news they had been receiving lately. He then turned to look at Jimin who looked just as bad as himself and Jungkook. Jimin looked absolutely broken, both inside and out; they all did. Jin had at least made attempts at trying to live a normal life by going back to his café to attend to customers and to train the new employees he had recently hired. Everyone had looked at him with worried expressions as the dark circles under his eyes, the pale sickly skin, and obvious weight loss had become too much for them not to notice. He appreciated the fact that his costumers cared enough about him to give him some advice or to give him small gifts to cheer him up but it was kind of hard to keep going when he had to deal with so much back at home.
Jungkook would accompany him everywhere out of force but it was like the ghost was no longer with him most of the time. Jungkook seemed lost in thought and he had become much more transparent and it was breaking Jin's heart. There were a few moments where he managed to make Jungkook laugh or Jungkook would find a way to try and cheer him up when he was feeling too down. Jungkook hated seeing Jin so upset and it frustrated him to no end knowing that he couldn't give him the hugs he deserved. He tried to give Jin some encouraging words every once in a while and even attempted telling him some of the lame jokes he liked so much but he found his energy to be deteriorating as time went by.
He could sometimes barely hold himself afloat and it worried him but he tried to hide it from everyone else. He knew the reason he was still around was so that he could take care of his loved ones but Chaeyoung had been missing for a while now and Jin was losing himself bit by bit each day. What good was he if the people he cared about so much were suffering and he didn't have the energy to do anything but stare as one of them wasted away while the other one could be dead by now? He quickly shook his head, biting his lip hard as he mentally slapped himself for his negative thoughts. How dare he think Chaeyoung was dead? What was happening to him and his will to continue?
Jungkook turned to meet Jin's eyes, a small smile appearing on his lips in an attempt to try and give the older a bit of energy. Jin smiled back in return but the tears running down Jungkook's cheeks and his slight flickering made a knot form in his throat. He wished he had the power to be able to hold his brother in his arms tightly and tell him that everything would be alright. He truly wished he could just make all the pain go away and bring back that playful spark his brother used to possess but he knew that was impossible. Day by day his brother was growing weaker and it pained him to see Jungkook pretend like everything was fine. He could see him slipping away from him just a bit more and his heart couldn't handle it for much longer. If anything were to happen to his brother...Jin would die.
He looked away from Jungkook's broken eyes to glance upon yet another broken soul that he cared and loved for deeply. Jimin was sitting on the sofa with his arms hugging his raised-up knees. He was moving back and forth slightly, his messy hair falling onto his face, making it hard for Jin to clearly see his expression. Out of everyone in the room, the one who had had it the hardest thus far had been Park Jimin. Everyone had their own problems but Jimin had grown increasingly paranoid due to his newfound paranormal ability. Surprisingly, ever since his mother had passed away the only ghost he had seen had been Jungkook. Jimin wasn't sure if that was because he had been too preoccupied with other things happening to notice his surroundings better but that had been the case. Jin had tried to coach him through how to react or how to act when in the presence of a spirit other than Jungkook but his hyung's words had left the building when he encountered a woman on the street while he was going to work.
(A/N: WARNING: During this section is where I will include the creepy pic.)
Jimin curled himself further into the warmth of his jacket while on the way to his part-time job at a gas station. He was used to working at any time and under any condition but for some reason he felt like tonight just wasn't a good night to go to work. The weather was unbearably cold and he hadn't slept at all during the day as he was keeping himself busy with other part-time jobs. He had barely had the energy to get changed out of his last uniform and into his current uniform for work. He had no idea how he was going to manage to stay awake for the longevity of his shift, but if the gas station was fairly empty then maybe a little snooze wouldn't hurt. It's not like there were many people around, in fact, it seemed like he was currently the only person dumb enough to brave the weather to go to work.
Jimin sighed, shoving his gloved hands into the pockets of his thick jacket. He glanced up at the sky, seeing the beauty of the moon shine down on him. He took it as a sign from up above that everything would be alright and that Detective Song would move the investigation forward now that they had a lead and were looking into a man called Lee Dongwook. "Are you looking at the beautiful moon tonight, Chaeyoung? I wonder how you are. I hope you are doing okay and are taking care of yourself wherever you are." He let out a small smile at the sky, now picturing his mother's lovely face. "How about you, eomma? How are you? Are you looking down at me right now and wondering how I've been? I've been fine, eomma. I'm keeping myself busy to forget. I'm trying really hard to be okay, eomma...i-it's hard."
Jimin's words were nothing but a whisper as he lowered his head and quickly wiped away his tears with a gloved hand. He really was trying hard to be alright but he would fluctuate between being really happy to suddenly really sad sometimes so he would distract himself with work. Jin and Seulgi had both warned him about overworking himself and that he should be giving himself time to heal but Jimin overlooked their warnings. Working was his way of coping so that's what he had been doing. Jin had to deal with him collapsing a couple of times and he felt ashamed but that didn't stop him as he just kept going. He shook his head to rid himself of any unnecessary thoughts, lowering his eyes towards the road to focus on getting to his destination.
After half an hour of walking in the freezing cold, Jimin could see the lights of the gas station in sight and the speed of his walking increased rapidly. All Jimin had to do was cross a large intersection and he would be at the gas station in no time. He made sure to turn both ways once the walking signal had lit up. He knew there was no point in doing that as there was absolutely no one in sight, but he had to take precautions regardless. Once he was sure that he was clear to go, he stepped down from the sidewalk and began to make his way through the pedestrian crossing.
With only a bit more to go until the signal turned red, he heard the sound of something slowly dragging behind him. Jimin stopped right at the center of a road, his breathing coming out in short shaky breaths as the sound grew louder. He wanted to keep moving but his body refused to keep walking as the sudden feeling of fear struck him, ceasing any rational thoughts or actions. He hadn't seen anyone or anything around so he was unsure of what exactly was behind him. Thoughts of the demon suddenly attacking him out of nowhere came to mind and it paralyzed him completely. He wanted to shout but all he could manage was a weak, "w-who's there?"
After a few seconds the sound behind him suddenly stopped and a soft voice made itself clear right beside his left ear. Jimin's whole body became rigid as arms wrapped themselves around his shoulders, clinging to him with all their might. He could feel damp hair touching his face and chapped lips press themselves against his left ear as the voice spoke, "y-you can hear me...I can touch you..." Jimin released visible breaths into the air, feeling the cold air around him suddenly become colder as the grip on him tightened. His body was trembling out of control and he weakly attempted to free himself from the person's grasp. He could practically hear his heart thumping in his chest, feeling as if it would escape at any moment.
"Don't be afraid...I-I just want some company. I've been very lonely for a long time now. Everyone seemed to ignore me as they walked by. I would call out but no one could hear me...I would reach out but I couldn't touch them...until you that is." Jimin could hear the voice becoming more eerily sinister and he became even more frightened as he felt a hand running down his right arm. He looked down eyes widening in shock as he gazed upon a pale semi-transparent bloody hand that dug its nails deeply into his clothed arm.
Jimin was deathly afraid and he didn't know how to react as he felt the other hand do the same thing with his other arm. He wanted to just scream and run for his life but he was too afraid to even move a finger and his voice wouldn't come out even if he tried. He could hear the voice move to his other ear but he couldn't decipher what was being said as everything started to blend in together. It was as if time had stopped and he could feel his heart beating in his chest in slow motion, the sound echoing in his ears. He was being consumed by fear as he remained frozen in place, only snapping out of it when a loud honk and some bright lights appeared in his direction.
Jimin gasped in shock, all his senses finally activating when he turned to his right only to find a truck coming straight at him. The vehicle was moving too fast to even attempt to slow down and Jimin's instinct quickly kicked in. He made a move to lunge himself in a different direction but he was being held firmly in place. "YoU aRe'Nt GoInG aNyWhErE! YoU hAvE tO sTaY wItH mE! We CaN bE tOgEtHeR fOrEvEr!" He could feel himself be dragged down to the ground as the sound of the horn began to frantically honk at him to move away. I'm going to die. I'm going to die. I'm going to die. he thought, tears rushing down his cheeks. He closed his eyes, silently awaiting his doom for a few seconds before his eyes suddenly snapped open and he jerked his body around roughly, elbowing the person behind him in the face and managing to free himself. He didn't look back, he just ran as fast as his weakened legs could take him before making it to the other side of the street safe and sound.
(A/N: WARNING: Creepy pics up ahead!)

He panted heavily, the cold air burning its way into his tired lungs. He looked up onto where he had been, falling to his knees as he witnessed a woman standing in the middle of the road. He could feel the adrenaline he once felt diminish and his body begin to tremble once again as he stared at the bloody figure. Her long blonde hair was damp with blood squirting in all directions, staining most of her clothes and body. Her head was tilted to one side as if her neck had been snapped, her left leg was slowly dragging her mangled right leg that had a bone sticking out of her pants clothing. She looked all sorts of broken, limbs twisted inhumanly as she made her way over to him with a saddened expression. "A-all I wanted was some company...I-I'm so sorry." she muttered before Jimin watched as the truck that was about to run him over went straight through her making her disappear from his sight completely.
Jimin shivered as he recalled the incident that triggered his current paranoia. There had been other small incidents after that but nothing close to what had happened that night. Ever since then, he had been staying in one of the guest bedrooms in Jin's home. He hadn't gone to work or outside and if he did it was straight to Detective Song's office and then straight back to Jin's house. He knew it was going to be hard but he hadn't imagined it would actually be this hard. It was very traumatizing when the spirits you encountered wanted to kill you. He wondered how Chaeyoung had managed to live that way for so long mostly on her own. She had been experiencing what he was going through for such a long time and it physically hurt him to imagine how scared she must have been. She had no one she could turn to when stuff like that would happen to her. She didn't have someone she could relate to, someone that could help her lessen the fear like how Jin was doing with him. She had to grow up with that all on her own and it made her incredibly brave and amazing in his eyes. He knew if anyone could survive anything, then that person was Park Chaeyoung.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm sorry to have come so abruptly but I have been doing some research and I came across something that may or may not be related to what's happening with Park Chaeyoung-ssi." Detective Song cleared his throat as he regained everyone's attention. "As you know, I had sent out a team to look for Lee Dongwook. Lee Dongwook used to be my former partner as he was a detective like myself. Unfortunately, he left due to...personal reasons." The detective averted his eyes a bit before continuing. "I hadn't seen or heard from him until he appeared alongside Chaeyoung-ssi. I had my team search through all sorts of platforms but we couldn't find a single trace of even his birth certificate. It seems like all his data has been wiped clean from any system in the country. As if he never existed in the first place."
The guys quirked up when they heard his last statement, confusion clearly showing on their faces. "W-what do you mean? How is that possible? How can he suddenly not appear anywhere? You know who he is, isn't that proof enough? He worked alongside you, what about all the people that worked with you two?" Jin questioned, truly perplexed as to how a man can just disappear from the country's system as if he were never in it to begin with. Song Seungheon sighed and shook his head, his left hand gently massaging his aching temples. "That's the thing...I couldn't locate any of those people either. All the documentation I have of his existence is not valid as he isn't registered as a person who has been born or has ever lived here in South Korea. Not only that but he isn't the only one. During the last couple of months, there have been increasing cases of people being filed as missing but there aren't any records of them ever existing in the first place. They just disappear and it's been happening more frequently with each month; at least five people a month now." Jin gasped in shock, covering his mouth in disbelief.
Jimin and Jungkook remained quiet, letting the detective's words sink in. Their only link to Chaeyoung was now gone. What were they supposed to do now? "You said Chaeyoung was being stalked by someone, right? You said she had mentioned feeling like she was being watched and hearing the sound of a camera going off, right?" The detective looked at Jimin who only nodded his head slowly. "That means that the person behind the camera might have been Dongwook. His specialty was undercover investigation and he was always the one to take the pictures. If my hunch is correct then that means he might have been doing detective work as a free-lancer...someone must have hired him. Someone that wanted to keep tabs on Park Chaeyoung. Do any of you know who might want that?"
Jin looked towards Jungkook and then at Jimin before letting his eyes fall onto the detective. "C-Chaeyoung didn't have any family other than h-her parents. They abandoned her when she was seven years old. We told you about this during interrogation. Other than them she had no one else but us..." The detective nodded, trying to piece everything together in his mind. "Did she ever mention anything about her parents? Did she know their names or maybe their workplace?" Jin shook his head instantly with a deep frown etched onto his face. "No, she never mentioned their names or any information about them. Besides, wouldn't you have all that information on your database anyways?" Song Seungheon cursed, shaking his head and groaning in frustration.
"When we looked into Park Chaeyoung's info, she was listed as an orphan. She has no family history even before the age of seven. All traces of her family have been erased. That makes me wonder if her family purposefully erased anything associating them with Park Chaeyoung. If so, then who knows what else they are capable of erasing....maybe even erasing the information of random people and making it seem like they don't exist. If that's the case then...her family is involved is some rather shady business. Of course, this is all just pure speculation."
"C-Chaeng had mentioned that her family grew into wealth quite quickly. As I mentioned before...Chaeyoung's been sacrificed to a demon...the same demon that killed eomma. It's taunting her and has been after her for a very long time. I-I'm not sure if you believe me one hundred percent but eomma did the same thing as you read in her letter. She sacrificed her life and another man's life in order to save me from being involved in the world of spirits. Chaeyoung said that her parents suddenly landed powerful jobs and that they had moved into a big house...that must mean they are currently powerful people, no?" Jimin quietly shared.
Detective Song tensed at the mention of a demon but gave Jimin a small smile and gently patted him on the shoulder. "T-thank you for the information...i-if that's the case then I'll have to look into people that grew into wealth at a short amount of time. Her birthday is on February 11, 1997, correct?" Jin nodded immediately, smiling at the older man with a bit of hope as he felt like they could truly get somewhere this time. "W-what did you just say? T-that's her birthdate?" Jimin was shocked and everyone looked at him in confusion.
Jin and Jungkook were not surprised at the fact that Jimin didn't know Chaeyoung's birthday since it wasn't a good day for her. Many things that she wanted to forget unfortunately happened on her birthday so they never celebrated it nor did she even talk about it. They took it as the day they went to Jungkook's grave then back home where Chaeyoung would mope and Jin and Jungkook would try to cheer her up. However, they were surprised as to why Jimin had paled at the sudden mention of Chaeyoung's birthdate. "Are you okay, Jimin-ah?" Jin worriedly asked, placing a gentle hand on Jimin's arm. Jimin nodded slowly in his direction, "I-it's just that on February 11, 2002 is when eomma made the pact with the demon that killed the man she was married to. I was going to be seven years old that year in October. It's the point in my life where everything changed and to think it happened on her birthday is just..."
Jimin might have heard Chaeyoung mention that Jungkook had died on her birthday, which was why he never asked the date since she had been so pained talking about it. It was shocking to say the least that they had shared such a twisted connection since before they even knew each other. To think that his whole life changed on the day of February 11 and now he was deeply in love with a girl whose birthday was on that exact day. "T-that's a big coincidence...are you okay though?" Jin asked, nudging closer to the curled-up boy. "I-I'm okay, thank you. I'm just surprised is all."
Detective Song stared at the two males, amazed at just how the case kept unfolding and unfolding before his very eyes. He looked away after a moment, getting up and turning around to gather his belongings. "Well, I'll start searching right away. I just want you guys to be a bit patient as this might take some time. Please, trust me and don't lose hope. We'll find her." He gave them a smile, watching as Jin hurriedly shook his hand before leading him towards the door. Both males were shocked when they noticed the loud thunder, flashing lightening, and pouring rain that was currently occurring outside. They must have all been extremely into their conversation to not have noticed the wild storm brewing. Jin turned to the detective and offered him a kind smile. "You can't go out in this weather, detective. Please, feel free to stay here for the night."
Song Seungheon looked out at the storm before smiling at Jin and accepting his offer. "Alright, I'll stay. Thank you for the hospitality. I'll be gone first thing in the morning." With that Jin closed the door and led the detective to a spare guestroom with Jungkook trailing behind. Jimin remained on the sofa for a little while longer before finally heading up and heading to his own room, closing the door behind him and throwing himself onto bed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The inside of the house was quiet but the storm kept wailing in full glory. Jimin twisted and turned, attempting to get some sleep but found it increasingly hard to do so. With a groan he immediately sat up, rubbing his tired eyes to will the sleep away. He couldn't blame the storm entirely as his mind was partially at fault. His mind kept whirling with thoughts and questions he didn't know the answers to. He tried what he could but he just couldn't catch some sleep. This had been the case for the last couple of days. It was just incredibly hard for him to relax when he felt like something would pop out at him randomly and try to kill him.
He tried to calm his panicked heart by doing some breathing exercises, which made him calm down just a little. He needed to control himself as so much panic was not good for his health, not that anything else he was doing was good for it anyway. Jimin quietly moved out of bed and headed to the desk that was located at far-right corner of his current room. He pulled the chair out and sat, opening a drawer to carefully pull out a sketchbook and a pencil. Jin had gifted him some art supplies to help with the increased anxiety he had been feeling lately and he was grateful as it had managed to help. He started doodling away, drawing random flowers and then some sceneries until his mind drifted off to someone special and he opened up a new page to sketch away.
"She's really pretty, isn't she?" Jimin heard a voice say, making him jump up and immediately close his sketchpad in a matter of seconds. His heart was beating furiously and he turned back, eyes widening and brimming with tears as he spotted a familiar figure standing just a few feet away. "E-eomma?" Jimin jumped out of the chair, knocking it over as he ran into Jihyo's open arms. He hugged her tightly, sobbing onto the top of her head as he brought her close. "E-e-eomma...I-I'm so sorry." he whimpered, letting out a few hiccups here and there due to the immense tears he was releasing. Jihyo smiled warmly, a hand rubbing his back as the other held her son lovingly. "Shhh, Jimin-ah. There's nothing for you to be sorry about. You've done nothing wrong."
Her voice was calming to his ears and he felt all the built-up emotion slowly release, making him feel a lot lighter than before. "I-I should have paid more attention...I should have been there..." Jihyo pushed him away slightly, cupping his face between her small hands and wiping away his tears with her thumbs. "There's nothing in the world that I would have changed, Jiminie. Now, you are free and so am I. I wanted to come see you. I-I've already seen Chaeyoung." Jihyo looked down and Jimin stared at his mother intently.
"H-how is she?" he asked, slightly afraid of what his mother might tell him. Jihyo sighed and looked up at her son, eyes deeply saddened and worry etched onto her features. "She isn't well, Jimin. Something is wrong...she a-attacked me when I went. She managed to get enough control and let me go..." Jimin pulled his mother in for a tighter embrace, afraid of letting her go in case she were to disappear again. If he would have witnessed Chaeyoung attacking his mother he wouldn't have known what to do. He didn't know what was going on with her but he was grateful to know she was still alive. He would save her no matter what. He just needed some more time; some time to go and find her.
"How did you find her?" he questioned, hoping his mother could give clear directions to her whereabouts. "I just sensed her energy and appeared. I'm sorry, I don't know the exact way. I just appeared in her room while she was sleeping." Jimin pulled his mother away and glanced at her delicate features, he placed a gentle hand on his mother's cheek, smiling down at her. "Don't feel sorry, eomma. I know she's alive and that's all that matters...I-I've missed you. I-it's been really hard." Jihyo stared at her son's features, worry filling her system when she noticed his bedraggled state.
"You have to take care of yourself, Park Jimin." she demanded in a stern voice. "I only have a limited time here but I just wanted to say that I love you so very much and that no matter what happens...I want you to remain my sweet and brave little boy, alright? I wanted to come warn you about...be very careful, Jimin-ah. When the time comes and you face off, you must be very careful. Try not to panic...remain calm and think of everyone waiting for you. Think about all the people that love you and give you strength. I wish I had more time but..." Jihyo started to fade completely, making Jimin panic as he saw her disappear. Jimin leaned down and kissed the top of his mother's head, rushing his last few words to her. "I l-love you, eomma. Thank you for everything, g-goodbye." Jihyo managed to give him a sweet kiss on the forehead and say a final "I love you" before finally disappearing completely from his sight.
Jimin fell down to the ground, sobbing as he held onto thin air. His mother's words were replaying over and over again in his mind but they just left him feeling more confused than ever. Jihyo had started speaking faster towards the end and she was looking around as if something would just pop out and take her. He swallowed the lump in his throat, tiredly getting back up from the ground. He was at least glad that he had managed to see his mother again and a part of him was disappointed that she couldn't stay for much longer. Maybe his mother's final wish was to see him one last time and since that was fulfilled she had to leave. Whatever it was he was just glad he was able to hug her and give his final goodbye.
He walked towards the door and made his way downstairs, listening as the sound of the wind and rain banged against the house windows. Jimin hugged his body tightly, sniffling as he made his way all the way down. He could hear noise coming from the kitchen so he quickly made his way over, seeing Jin making a pot of ramen while Jungkook watched. Jin noticed his presence and gave him a small smile. "Couldn't sleep?" he asked, silently approaching him with arms outstretched. Jimin felt a bit like a child but he let himself be hugged by the older man, his head resting on his shoulder. "E-eomma came to visit, hyung. She s-said her last goodbye. S-she's g-gone now..." Jin hugged Jimin tighter, patting his head affectionately. "Don't worry, Jimin. She's in a better place now. She won't suffer anymore and she'll be resting in peace. Isn't that better than watching her in pain? I know it's hard but you are strong and you'll get through it." Jimin pulled away and looked into Jin's eyes, a small smile on his lips.
"T-thank you, hyung. If it weren't for the gift eomma's family gave to me...I wouldn't have been able to see her, hug her, kiss the top of her head, and say 'I love you' for the last time. She said she was free now...i-if she's happy then so am I...even if its's hard." He lowered his head and bit his lip. "She also v-visited Chaeyoung...she's alive but...e-eomma said something was wrong with her. Chaeyoung t-tried to attack her but gained control and let her g-go. We have to find her soon. E-eomma appeared before her so she didn't know the way to get there hyung. I-I wish this wasn't so hard..." Jin gave him a comforting pat on the back before moving away and going back to the pot with ramen.
"I know how frustrating you must feel and I'm terrified of what might be happening to her but we need to remain hopeful. We can only do so much and we can't blindly start looking. Detective Song is doing his best, we just have to be patient." Jin stated as he lowered the temperature on the stove. "Jin hyung is right, Jimin hyung. We just have to remain hopeful. We need to believe that everything will turn out alright. We are all scared about everything that has been happening lately and it seems to be getting worse but we'll get there. I know we will." Jungkook looked down at his flickering hands, clenching his fists tightly before setting them by his sides. "Even if the final destination doesn't include me. I know you can save her..." his voice was a soft whisper so neither of the guys in the room heard what he had said which he was rather grateful for.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After everyone managed to calm down and the mood had picked up a little after they had a bite to eat, they each decided to go back into their rooms. However, a loud thunder shook the house and made everyone halt as they made their ways upstairs. For some reason, their eyes landed on the front door, an inexplicable urge to open it suddenly bubbling within then. Jin was the first to move as he quickly made his way to the front door, hand shaking as he grabbed the door knob. Jimin and Jungkook were right behind him, overlooking from his shoulder as he swung the door wide open. A flash of lightening made everything brighter and more visible to see, making the males gasp in shock as they stared at a familiar someone right outside the front door. "Chaeyoung!" they all shouted in unison, making the weak girl raise her head. "H-help me." she pleaded, closing her eyes and slowly falling down. Jin opened his arms to catch her but was left frozen in place and empty handed as she made her way straight through him and into Park Jimin's arms.
