Chaeyoung groggily opened her eyes, a groan leaving her lips as she outstretched her arms. Her room was dark, and she really couldn't tell what time it was at the moment. She sighed as she rubbed the sleep off her eyes, head turning to her bedside table. Despite being a bit more awake now, she decided to rub at her eyes again as they landed on a paper resting undisturbed on the surface of her bedside table. "What's that?" she asked herself, sitting up and turning on the lamp right beside the note so she could see. Chaeyoung grabbed the note, grasping the paper with both hands and bringing it closer to her face in order to read it properly.

Hey Chaeyoung!

I wish I could have stayed to keep you warm and see you wake up, but some things came up at work unfortunately, so I'm sorry. We talked about some things last night and although you fell asleep quickly I hope you didn't forget my question and your response. I look forward to taking you out on that day, Chaeyoung. I'll make it worth your while :)

- Your angel, Jiminie

Chaeyoung pressed the note against her forehead as she leaned her head down, a fluttery feeling coming over her chest as she recalled their conversation from last night. She sighed in content, gently placing the note back to where it was originally before she plopped down onto her bed with her face on a pillow. She clutched the pillow tightly, attempting to muffle her loud squeals of joy. Her legs flailing around as she tried to secretly convey all her excitement in that moment. After a couple of minutes of rolling around happily, she finally decided to get out of bed to start her day with flushed cheeks and a grin plastered on her face.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After freshening up and getting ready, Chaeyoung headed downstairs just in time to find Jin and Jungkook by the door. "Where are you guys going?" she asked, approaching the two males. Jin finished putting on his winter wear before smiling down at the young girl before him. "Good to see you awake, Chaengie. I was just about to head out to the café since I was told we were running low on holiday drink supplies...Jiminie is already there at the moment since he had an early shift." Jin informed, a mischievous smirk forming on his lips when he pulled out his phone to show Chaeyoung what he had captured last night.

Chaeyoung's face heated up and she quickly averted her eyes when Jin mentioned Jimin, just realizing he had fallen asleep with her on her bed when Jin and Jungkook were gone. "I-I see. Well, have a good day at work then..." she was just about to escape but Jungkook blocked her way, his head nudging towards Jin's direction with a mischievous smirk of his own. Chaeyoung inwardly groaned and turned back to Jin, her eyes coming in contact with a picture that left her absolutely speechless and beyond embarrassed. She took a good look at the picture of her and Jimin cuddled up in deep sleep before she crouched down, hiding her face behind her hands.

"You guys looked so adorable that I couldn't help but take as many pictures as I could! You two must have been exhausted since neither of you budged all night long. I just wanted you to see one and I don't plan on deleting any of them so don't you dare ask." Chaeyoung removed her hands from her face and looked at Jin with pleading eyes but all he did was chuckle and pat her head gently. "I'm heading off now, I'll see you and Jungkook later, alri-" "Actually, oppa and Jungkook...could you two hang around together for today? I was thinking of asking Seulgi unni to spend the day with me..."

Jungkook moved beside Jin, both males looking at each other before their eyes went to a slowly rising Chaeyoung. "A girls' day out? I rather stick with hyung that's for sure. Thank you for deciding to spare me." Jungkook joked, earning him a light punch to the arm from Chaeyoung. Jin couldn't help but grin as he reached out to pinch one of Chaeyoung's cheeks. "You go ahead and take all the time you want. I'm so glad you are hanging around different people now, Chaengie. However, if anything happens, feel free to call me and I'll come right away." He gave her one last pride-filled smile before he said goodbye and left with Jungkook trailing behind him. Chaeyoung shivered as she held the open door, watching the pair of boys leave with a smile on her face, "I'm proud of me too." she whispered.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Thank you for deciding to accompany me today, unni. I really appreciate it." Chaeyoung and Seulgi were now walking around the crowded Myeongdong shopping street with a warm drink in hand and Chaeyoung clinging to Seulgi's free arm. It was a bit of an overwhelming area to be in and it would be Chaeyoung's first time being in the area during the holiday times.

"Don't even thank me, Chaeng-ah. I can take the opportunity to do some holiday shopping as well since Christmas is just a few days away and I haven't gotten anything either." Seulgi chuckled, triumphantly pulling them through the hordes of people and into a random clothing store. Both girls took the time to catch their breath, smiling at each other before deciding to just take a look around the current store they were in.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So...you want some help finding Jimin something for Christmas, right?" Seulgi suddenly questioned as both her and Chaeyoung looked around the men's section. Even though Chaeyoung hadn't mentioned anything about Jimin, Seulgi knew right away when she noticed Chaeyoung's eyes darting around the men's section with secret pleading glances directed at Seulgi. Chaeyoung froze in her spot, unable to meet Seulgi's gaze out of embarrassment. "You are such a cutie!" Seulgi gushed, patting the slightly taller girl's head. "No need to feel shy, Chaeyoung. I...I actually need help from you too..." Chaeyoung's eyes darted to the older girl, her embarrassment soon replaced by confusion.

Chaeyoung could feel the large grin etch onto her face when a certain oppa flashed across her mind after a few seconds of thinking. "Ahhhh, you need help finding something for Jin oppa, huh?" It was Seulgi's turn to shy away out of embarrassment as she couldn't stand the smug look on the younger girl's face. "N-no teasing, Chaeng-ah! I will give you tips on Jimin-ah and you return the favor by giving me tips on what to get Jin oppa, okay?" Chaeyoung giggled but nodded at her words enthusiastically. "Got it!" she cheered, giving her unni a heartwarming smile that the other couldn't help but melt at.

"Alright, young one. Let's go!" Seulgi grabbed Chaeyoung's arm and pulled the giggling girl so the two could actually get some shopping done. Chaeyoung was feeling a different kind of bubbly when she was around Seulgi as compared to the other guys. Sure, she felt happy when she was around the others as well, but it was different bonding with someone of the same gender for once. She felt like she was living the normal life for a girl her age. The normal life of clinging onto the arm of your best friend, taking pictures together, and giggling about boys.

(A/N: Blurry but cute edit nonetheless! Credit to the owner of this masterpiece!)

They had been looking through clothing and were about to move to a different store when Chaeyoung suddenly spoke up. "Unni...thank you for being my friend. I'm really grateful to you." Chaeyoung gave her a sweet smile and Seulgi was left speechless when she turned back to look at the girl. "W-what? You don't have to thank me for being your friend, Chaeyoung. You make it sound like I'm doing you a favor but I'm not. I truly enjoy our friendship and I'm glad we've grown closer. You know what? I consider you to be even more than a best friend. You are like family to me, Chaeyoung. It's kind of funny considering we grew closer because of Jimin." Seulgi chuckled, instantly pulling Chaeyoung aside when she heard her sniffle.

Chaeyoung had her head lowered, small fists rubbing at her eyes furiously as she tried to rid herself of her tears. Seulgi pulled the taller girl into a hug, one hand sneaking under her backpack to pat her back while the other hand softly caressed her hair. "Why are you crying, Chaeng?" she quietly asked once the younger had calmed down and placed her head on Seulgi's shoulder. Chaeyoung returned the comforting embrace, sighing happily as she clung to the older girl. "T-thank you so m-much, unni. I think of you as family t-too. I'm sorry for c-crying...it's just I've never had another f-female I could depend on before. I'm so grateful."

Seulgi was surprised at Chaeyoung's words, thoughts of the younger girl's mother suddenly coming into mind. She was curious to say the least but despite her curiosity, she respected Chaeyoung and wouldn't question the girl about it. Instead, she allowed the younger girl to cling onto her a bit more before she pulled her away and gently cupped Chaeyoung's cheeks with her hands. She wiped at the remaining tears and gave her a small smile. "I'll always be here for you. Come to me whenever you can't deal with the boys or need better advice. If Jiminie does anything I'll beat him up for you, okay?" she said half-jokingly and half-serious. Seulgi stared at Chaeyoung's face, not releasing the girl's cheeks until she saw a bright smile burst onto her lips. "Good girl! Now, we still haven't accomplished anything so let's go, shall we?" Chaeyoung nodded, laughing as she got pulled away when Seulgi grabbed her hand with a bright smile of her own plastered on her face.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The two had looked around for so long until they finally approached a less populated area with many interesting looking stores. Seulgi and Chaeyoung had managed to get Jin something for the holiday so both were now focused on getting Jimin a gift as well as secretly buying something for each other. Both girls walked for a bit more until Chaeyoung suddenly separated herself from Seulgi's hold as she eyed a jewelry shop. She approached the window, eyes widening as they landed on a specific collection that screamed at her. "Unni...I-I think I found the gift."

Before the older girl could say anything, Chaeyoung had ran inside leaving the older in shock. "Oh well, I'll use this opportunity to get her a present." Seulgi whispered, before pulling her phone out to send her a quick message and then walking away too look at other stores a bit of a distance away from the younger. Chaeyoung on the other hand, was having a mental breakdown as she was given the price of the collection she had eyed outside. She was quite embarrassed when she saw it came as a set, but she couldn't afford it. However, as the person saw how upset she had become, they opted for letting her choose the one she wanted of the two and lowered the price by just enough.

The employee at the shop had become quite flustered when the girl kneeled down to bow to them in gratitude. They quickly rushed to pick her up by the arm when the clumsy girl's heavy coat prohibited her from getting up and then gave the girl a sweet smile before wishing her a happy holiday and sending her off. Chaeyoung was euphoric as she exited the shop with the small gift bag clutched to her coat covered chest. Unfortunately, that happiness didn't last long when Chaeyoung noticed that the older girl was not waiting for her outside like she had initially thought.

In a bit of a panic, Chaeyoung stuffed the precious gift into her backpack purse that was carrying the other small items she would be gifting away. She then searched her coat for her phone, sighing in relief when she found a message from the older girl. "I should go look for her..." she told herself, stuffing the electronic away before she started on her journey to find Seulgi.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sun had already set so Chaeyoung was in a hurry to find Seulgi since she wasn't a fan of being out in the dark by herself for obvious reasons. She wasn't even aware that they had been out for so long since they were having so much fun. She looked around the stores in the area, but she couldn't find the girl. She even tried to call her but the older wouldn't answer. What if something happened to her? she thought, instantly shaking her head as she didn't want to think anything negative.

Chaeyoung sighed, her arms wrapping around herself as it had grown colder. The sense of panic suddenly returned when she heard weeping coming from somewhere close by. She knew it wouldn't be a good idea, but she still found herself walking in the direction of the sound. "H-hello?" she called out, swallowing the lump in her throat when the weeping suddenly stopped. "H-hey, come out and I can help you..." she was now looking into an alley where a form was huddled in the corner, a flickering light shining down upon them. All she could see was a tiny pale body, curled in on itself as it began to weep yet again after having stopped for a couple of seconds.

The whole thing screamed "STAY AWAY!" but it seemed like Chaeyoung couldn't resist as the whole atmosphere of it all reminded her of herself. She could feel the shivers taking over her body, so she knew it wasn't a human. The closer she got the more she knew it was a ghost child that had probably either naturally died in the area or had been terribly murdered and left there. "Are you o-okay?" she stuttered, just a few feet away from the small figure. She could see the thin body frame of a little boy, skin pale white, knees up to his chest, face hidden behind small hands, and a mop of pure black hair.

"Don't cry...noona is here to cheer you up, okay?" Chaeyoung got even closer to the child, crouching down right in front of him as she spoke in a soft voice. "N-noona can see and hear me?" a broken voice suddenly spoke. Chaeyoung smiled sweetly even though the child's face was still hidden away so he couldn't see her. "Yes, noona can see and hear you. You know what else noona can do?" The child removed his hands from his face and stared at her, his pitch-black eyes and monochrome coloring sending shivers down her spine. He titled his face in curiosity as he awaited Chaeyoung's words.

(A/N: WARNING: Creepy Picture below!)

(A/N: Toshio from "The Grudge" is what the child looks like)

(A/N: Want to know something creepy? It's almost 2 a.m. here and as soon as I added Toshio's picture, my screen started to glitch out...oohhhhh~)

Chaeyoung let out a small breath before smiling at the pale child. "Noona can hug you. So, come here and give noona a hug." The little boy gave her a blank stare before he slowly crawled to her and wrapped his arms around her neck hesitatingly, hands finding their way into her scarf to touch the skin at the back of her neck. "Noona is nice...I like noona." he whispered, the hold on her neck tightening. Chaeyoung was happy to give some sort of comfort to the kid but a sense of fear arose within her when the boy's nails dug into her skin quite roughly. "U-uh, you're hurting me. Please, let go." she stated, trying to push the child away but he wouldn't budge.

The back of her neck was burning, feeling like his nails were ripping pieces of flesh off. "Let go!" Chaeyoung yelled, her arms finding enough strength to push the boy away. The force of the push made her lose her balance, falling down onto the snow-covered ground. "I-I like noona...I want noona to stay...y-you'll stay...won't you, noona?" Chaeyoung could hear the muffled sound of her phone's ringtone and she figured that Seulgi was probably looking for her now. Despite wanting to answer the call, she was too focused on the boy who had gone on all fours and was crawling his way towards her. His head was rotating, neck snapping in a sickening way as a wicked smile formed on his lips. "N-o-o-n-a~" he called out to her, making Chaeyoung's legs weak.

She attempted to get up but was unable to, so she opted to crawl backwards away from the ghost child. "Stay away! I-I don't want to stay with you! I just wanted to make you feel comforted!" she shouted, watching as the kid speed crawled his way to her. He grabbed at one of her ankles, pulling her with a strength she didn't know he could possess. Chaeyoung yelped, feeling a weight suddenly climb on top of her body, a cold sensation wrapped around her wrist harshly. "YOU ARE MINE NOW, NOONA!" he yelled at her, face appearing right in front of her own. Chaeyoung's breath had been caught in her throat, shocked at how the boy's mouth had become a large gaping hole, lips completely tattered as the flesh around his mouth began to deteriorate.

(A/N: WARNING: Creepy image down below!)

(A/N: I kinda freaked myself out now. Ghost children are the worst! Credit to the owner of the art!)

"Chaeyoung! Where are you?!" Seulgi's loud voice snapped Chaeyoung out of it and made her regain her courage as she attempted to throw the child off. She wanted to yell at the older girl to give her a better idea of her location, but she didn't want to endanger the older. The ghost boy held onto her wrist tightly, fingers almost breaking her fragile bones with how strong his grip was. She bit her lip harshly to keep herself from yelling in pain, managing to raise a knee high enough to push the ghost kid off of her. The little boy hissed, a distorted laugh coming out of his small body. Chaeyoung scurried off of the ground, tripping for a bit on the snow before she found her footing and ran for her life.

Chaeyoung was panting hard, lungs burning as she inhaled cold air from her running. She didn't look back, eyes hazy with tears that were blocking her vision. She kept running until her body collided with someone else, both individuals falling to the ground with a grunt. Chaeyoung looked up, eyes raking over a figure dressed in all black that was picking up a camera that had fallen to the ground. Before she could say anything or even approach the person, Seulgi had appeared with relief written all over her face.

Seulgi looked at the person in front of Chaeyoung and then looked at the pale girl, which appeared absolutely terrified. She carefully approached the figure, believing that they had done something to harm the younger girl. Protective mode on, Seulgi lunged at the individual that was just getting up after having picked up their camera. "What did you do to her, pervert!" she yelled, slamming her fists onto their back. The person just shoved Seulgi off of them before making a run for it and leaving the two girls behind. Seulgi would have ran after the person if it weren't for Chaeyoung clinging onto her legs, stopping her from pursuing.

"I j-just bumped into them by accident. They didn't do a-anything to me, unni.." she weakly stated, voice becoming slightly hoarse. Seulgi automatically lowered herself down and pulled Chaeyoung up with a bit of a struggle. "I-I'm so sorry I left you alone, Chaeyoung. I shouldn't have left and I should have answered your calls. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me." The older begged, clutching the frightened girl tightly.

"I-I'm fine. Nothing happened...I just freaked out since I'm afraid of being alone in the dark so I started running around and bumped into that person." Seulgi sighed in relief that the girl was okay and pulled away from her. "Alright, I promise to never leave you alone like that ever again. Let's take you home now." Chaeyoung nodded, body trembling in both fear and cold. She turned for a second to look back at where she came from, eyes landing on the small boy with a sad expression on his face as he waved her goodbye before turning back and heading into the darkness of the alley.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What happened?!" Jin yelled, frightening Jimin who was in the kitchen grabbing a bite to eat. He suddenly choked on the muffin he had picked up, downing some milk before running out to where he had heard Jin yelling. He stopped in his tracks when his eyes landed on a pale Chaeyoung with messy wet hair. Seulgi was holding the girl and as soon as she released her hold on her, Chaeyoung had collapsed into Jin's arms. "S-Seul, what happened? Are you both okay?" Jimin worriedly asked, scanning both girls when he approached the door. Seulgi nodded, tears stinging her eyes as the guilt of seeing Chaeyoung ate at her heart.

"I-I'm completely fine but I left Chaeyoung alone for a bit to do something quickly that ended up taking much longer than I wanted it to. When I found Chaeyoung again, I saw her on the ground with a stranger in front of her. I thought that they might have done something to her but they ran away and Chaeyoung told me she just ran into them when she was running around looking for me since she's afraid of the dark. I-I'm so sorry." Seulgi's tears ran down her cheeks and Jimin went over to comfort her.

Jin sighed, eyeing Jungkook who stood aside just watching everyone with clenched fists and a serious expression on his face. Jin assisted Chaeyoung with walking over to the living room and placed her gently onto the couch. "Jimin, stay with Chaeyoung while I drive Seulgi home." Jin stated sternly, giving a comforting smile to Seulgi when she looked up towards him. Seulgi moved away from Jimin and headed into Jin's arms, head colliding onto his chest as she held onto him tightly. "You need some rest, Seulgi. I'll let you know how Chaeyoung feels as soon as she wakes up. Don't feel guilty, you didn't know." He gently petted her head, a chuckle leaving his lips when he felt her nod.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jimin watched as the two headed for the door, Seulgi bidding him goodbye while Jin told him to take care of Chaeyoung while he dropped Seulgi off. He saw Jin look to an empty direction, nudging his head towards the door. Images of Jungkook coming to mind as he guessed the older was telling the ghost to follow him. Once they were gone, Jimin hurriedly sat down beside Chaeyoung on the couch, a shaky hand moving some of her wet hair away from her face.

He smiled softly when he felt Chaeyoung lean into his touch when he placed his hand against her cold cheek. "How are you feeling?" he quietly asked. "I-I'm feeling b-better." Jimin could hear Chaeyoung's teeth chattering as she spoke so he decided to help her get rid of the wet jacket from melted snow she was wearing. "Let me help you take your coat off, Chaeyoung. You look so cold and your wet coat isn't helping." Chaeyoung nodded, turning her body to give him easier access. She unbuttoned the coat, allowing Jimin to tug at her sleeves until the heavy cloth was off. He then proceeded to remove her scarf, eyes widening when he heard Chaeyoung hiss in pain.

"What's wrong?" he worriedly asked, leaning closer and moving her hair away only to find horrid scratches that had ripped some of her flesh off. They were red, the bit of blood that had dripped from them had now clotted, forming scabs on the wounds. Jimin felt his blood boil when the thought of the stranger Seulgi had mentioned came to mind. "Were you actually attacked by the person Seulgi was talking about?" he questioned, eyes burning as he looked into her big watery eyes. Chaeyoung just shook her head and leaned into him until her head was on his shoulder. "N-not the stranger...a kid...a g-ghost kid."

Jimin's breath hitched, sighing as he pulled the girl closer to his body to stop her from shivering. "I-I just wanted to comfort him when I saw that he was crying alone in the alley. He reminded me of myself when I spent my nights that way as a child. I couldn't help it but...he turned into an evil spirit. He attacked me and I-I was so scared, Jimin." Chaeyoung wrapped her arms around Jimin's back, hissing when her left wrist made contact with the rough material of his jean jacket. Jimin instantly noticed and pulled her away slightly, silently looking her over in concern. "What's wrong? Did I hurt you?" Chaeyoung shook her head, raising her left wrist up for him to inspect it. Jimin gently grabbed her wrist and pulled the sleeve of Chaeyoung's sweater back only to gasp in horror at the bruises that were forming on her wrist. "Did he grab your wrist?" he asked her and Chaeyoung only nodded.

He looked at the girl with a small frown before pulling Chaeyoung's wrist up and kissing it in front of her lightly over and over again before letting it go. "Tell me where it hurts and I'll kiss it better." he stated in a completely determined voice. Chaeyoung could feel her body regain its heat as the room was suddenly too warm for her to handle. "N-not necessary. I-I'm fine! I'm u-used to it." Jimin only shook his head, a pout on his lips. "I don't want you to be used to it." he told her before leaning in towards her. Chaeyoung moved away, her back hitting the arm rest of the couch and she gulped when she suddenly felt Jimin's warm breath against her ear.

"The only thing I want you to get used to...is me making you forget all the bad things that have ever happened." he whispered in a deep-toned voice before kissing the back of her neck, earning a weak whimper from the younger girl. He could feel Chaeyoung's good hand push against his chest, the push soon turning into a hold as she clutched the shirt under his unbuttoned jean jacket. He kept showering the back of her neck with kisses, Chaeyoung's neck perfectly outstretched to provide the male with the right access. He could feel the new warmth radiating off of the female's skin and it made Jimin's own skin heat up even more.

Every sound she was making was turning him completely insane and he knew he had to stop soon before he lost all of his self-control. He stopped littering Chaeyoung's damaged neck with kisses, moving away until his face was right in front of the girl with hazed eyes. Both of them were breathing heavily hearts beating rapidly as they stared at each other. Nothing had to be said, all they had to do was flicker their eyes down to each other's lips to express what they truly wanted in that moment. Chaeyoung was the first to raise her eyes back up, feeling like she had actually gone crazy when she leaned in, closing her eyes in the process and then capturing his lips in a much-desired kiss.

Jimin was quite shocked at first, remaining still for a couple a seconds before he smirked and quickly took control of the situation. He moved one of his hands to the back of Chaeyoung's head, gently relaxing the girl and pushing her back onto the armrest as she was straining her neck to kiss him. He then placed his other hand on the girl's waist, gently squeezing the area which earned him a yelp from the girl while he chuckled at her cuteness. The small action had made them separate but before Chaeyoung had any time to react, Jimin licked his lips and dived right in to kiss her again. Chaeyoung didn't even think as she moved her chapped lips against Jimin's soft ones. However, their lovely kiss was soon interrupted by the natural reactions of the human body as within the timespan of a few seconds, Chaeyoung had pulled away and sneezed all over Jimin's face; Chaeyoung had never wanted to die more than in that moment.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"D-don't look at me!" she whined, now fully transformed into some kind of blanket monster as she wrapped herself in the blanket Jimin had brought for her and rolled herself into a ball. "It was just a sneeze, Chaeng. I won't die because you sneezed on me. You can't help getting sick after what happened. Please, let me see your face." Jimin begged, but Chaeyoung only shook her head, refusing to acknowledge his existence after what had happened. Jimin sighed and began to tickle the girl until she had finally uncurled herself and resurfaced from beneath the blanket. Jimin laughed and a playful smirk was plastered on his face when she looked up at him, cheeks flushed from laughing so much. Jimin took the opportunity of seeing Chaeyoung's face again to lean down and peck her lips once more. "Got you~" he teased before walking away to get her another warm drink while Chaeyoung curled back into a ball again.
