wowie look at this, me finally updating this book I wrote all the way back in December of 2019. us being stuck inside is kinda making me go back to these and write more since I like some of them. I'm not proud of this book but I'll continue to make sure there are more Davy books >:0

the next day's sun soon rose up, dave still feeling uncertain about what happened with danny yesterday. "WELCOME TO ANOTHER DAY AT DAYCAAARRREEEE!!!!" ryan ran into the main room yelling, "Hi everybody!". there were many mornings and hey's from most of the kids, keyword is most. danny was missing, dave wasn't talking, angel was distracted and pup couldn't really say anything. tina and goldy noticed dave staring off into a blank wall and joined beside him in watching it, "whatcha doin'?" goldy asked still staring, "oh..uh just thinkin' about some things" dave answered looking at them. just then came running in danny who now had a small bandage on his knee, "hi...sorry i'm.. late" he inhaled between words. tina grinned and shouted "hi danny!!".

dave stared at that bandage on his knee, thinking to himself to what happened to his friend. did someone hurt him? did he hurt himself? what hurt him?. in a short break to eat, dave noticed as danny began walking to the roof, him being a curious dino followed him.

When the two reached the top, Danny walked near the edge of the building, he sat down and looked down to his hands. Dave watched from the side, he watched as Danny ran his hands together.

(me not knowing where the hell this story is going-)

Danny looked at his hands, mumbling to himself quietly as he continued to fiddle with his hands. he had felt eyes on him a bit ago but didn't believe it was anything to worry about, now it was starting to confuse him so he whipped around to see...

Dave

"O-Oh! Hi Dave" Danny exclaimed, confused on why he was there watching him, his face was now a tinted red colour. How am I supposed to react to my long time crush was watching and following me up here?! Dave slightly smiled and walked over to Danny.

He crouched down beside him "Heya Danny... what cha up toooo?" Danny side smiled at him, letting out a small laugh. "Oh just thinking..." He responded to the one in purple, who in turned asked "abboouutt whaaat?". Danny's face lit up a bit in red, he chuckled nervously "just... about a person..."

Dave's position kinda gave out and he fell to the floor, Danny laughing at his friend's sillyness. Dave pouted and he sat down properly beside the duck, "you.. 'like' like theemm?~" Danny choked at that sentence, his face going even more red.

Dave laughed at him "I'm guessing I was right", Danny covered some of his face with his hands to stop Dave from saying any more. "soooooo who's the lucky gal...?" Dave teasingly asked, laying his upper body into Danny's lap "uhm... I don't think he's a gal, Dave...". Dave shot up at that "oH UH SORRY FOR ASSUMING! who's the uh lucky guyyy?", Danny smiled at him, seeing him get corrected and making him that embarrassed was his new highlight of the day.

Danny shrugged "just.... this really cool guy..." "oH of course you mean ME" Dave jokingly exclaimed as he watched his friend go speachless. "haha I know it's not me, don't worry!" Danny smiled and forced a laugh to come outta him, that kinda hurt. Danny got up, dusting off his pants before reaching a hand down to his friend "we should be returning to the group, c'mon".

The two returned, seeing what looked like some kind of war going on between the kids, some in one side of the room with a fort and the other with the exact same thing. Danny and Dave were confused, mostly on why their was this... war going on.

Tina came outta no where, grabbing Danny by his hood and dragging him to her fort with Tina and few more kids while Unicornmann dragged Dave to the opposite side. "WOAH, hold on! why is this happening?!" Dave asked, clearly a bit angry that he couldn't continue to talk to his friend.

the rest of the day was filled with silly arguments and war related things being made in the main room
