Chapter 14: Drink Da Holy Water

Vivi woke and began her routine. She rummaged through her outfits of similar clothing until she came across a blew long sleeved sweatshirt and a blue skirt that hung to her knees. She then grabbed her scarf and undergarments and glasses before making her way across her large room to her personal bathroom.

There she started her bathing routine. Cold shower, cleaning her hair and skin before just relaxing under the cool liquid. She then turned the water off, dried herself and dressed in her clothes, dawning the glasses last. She blow-dried her blue hair before exiting the bathroom with a happy grin plastered on her face, with every intention of studying this magical ghost haunted mansion.

Vivi moved back to her bag and grabbed a small vile. She held it close and sighed, fingers fidgeting along the glass as she pictured Arthur's smirk in her mind from the car ride to the mansion. His exhaustion and pain worried her. But...that smirk...

It unsettled something familair I'm her core. She swore she saw him smile like that before, and it gave her a feeling of fear and impending doom, a hopelessness she couldn't place at all. She held no memory of it, but she knew in her heart that she'd somehow forgotten something very important. Some secret she knows Lewis and Arthur were hiding from her.

She didn't want to figure it out the longer this terrible feeling lingered.

"This is for Arthur." Vivi spoke, putting on a resolved face. "This will make him better. It has to! It must." She shivered, a chill running through her hands as the glass cooled, a weird thing her hands have been doing recently after the fight in the parking lot.

Vivi straightened her outfit and nodded with confidence before marching out of her room. She turned and began to head for the bedroom Lewis decided to choose, her mind then wandering off somewhere lewd.

"Huehuehue~!" Vivi giggled, blushing and smirking to herself. "Boys I hope you two misbehave~! Juicy relationships are my everything! The sexual tension they have is otherworldly!" Vivi gleefully chimed.

She walked over to the door, giving three light but firm knocks to announce her presence. She rocked on her feet patiently waiting for a reply, and after her tenth rock the door clicked and she was greeted by a ghost who looked both angry and relieved to see her. Vivi smiled and allowed herself in, pushing past the door and inside, looking for her blonde friend.

"Where's Artie?" Vivi asked, puzzled.

"Arthur's decided to hide out in the bathroom after shouting something at me. Each time I've tried to console him he shouts words he doesn't mean, than apologises and cries for a bit. I've decided against flying through the wall, but, the moments of green interruption are getting more closer together. Which means the arm is probably inching closer." Lewis explained, following Vivi as she walked over to the bathroom with the vile in her hands.

Vivi have a solid knock on the door bed re clearing her throat. "Arthur! It's Vivi! Come on out and let's get this over with hun." Vivi spoke calmly.

Arthur was slow to answer, there was some shuffling, some weak whines and a violent sigh, but when he opened the door, his eyes were bloodshot and he looked exhausted, and pale as well.

Upset to sum it up.

"Hey, I've brought it." Vivi smiled sheepishly and held the vile up.

Arthur nodded and walked out of the bathroom turning the light off and shutting the door behind him. He then looked at Lewis with an apologetic stare. Lewis stared back with a softness.

"I broke one of your towel racks. I'm sorry...spasm." Arthur mumbled.

"All is forgiven. Actions and words alike." Lewis nodded and patted his shoulder.

Vivi hummed. "Alright. Now, I'm not going to sugar coat anything, knowing you hate it when I do so." Vivi started and looked about before grabbing a metal bar she had in her skirt pocket, small, bit very sturdy, and handed it to the metal arm, and a small wooden one for his regular arm. "It's probably going to be very painful. Like your insides catching fire or something so I recommend sitting down and letting Lewis hold you steady."

Arthur looked at the bars in his hands and then at the vile before sighing again, silently nodding and sitting himself down. Lewis moved behind hi. And gently wrapped his arms around Arthur's upper arms and chest, gripping him tighter after getting himself situated.

"N-Now o-or never." Arthur nervously chimed, gulping, Lewis hold my legs with yours." Arthur demanded.

Lewis looked at him before scooting them against the wall and doing just that, holding him down, deadbeats doing the same for his feet, looking cute and nervous and fearful about the bottle.

"Don't spill ant or spit any out please." Lewis asked.

"I won't." Arthur nodded.

Vivi watched the two with a nervous stare as they stared back at her expectantly. She then sighed and took her scarf off, placing it on Lewis's arms to cover them incase Arthur does spit any out. She then popped the bottle open and shivered.

"You ready?" She asked. "I'm gonna put this to your lips and tip it, and you are to man swallow all of it." Vivi instructed, eyes narrowing in concern, her breathing quickening along with her heart beat in nervousness.

Arthur took a moment to calm down, the green thing beginning to get angered and restless. He swallowed again and shivered, gripping the two bars provided tightly to the point his knuckles were white, body trembling and tense.

"I'm going to do it now." Vivi spoke and moved the vile close to Arthur's like, watching as he obediently parted them with a whimper.

"You SICK fuck don't you dare!"

"I am. Suck it up and take it like a man." Arthur muttered before nodding at Vivi.

"KINGSMAN!! YOU'RE GOING TO REGRET IT!"

"So be it." Arthur hissed and opened his mouth.

Vivi gently moved the vile against Arthur's lips, her breath catching in the back of her throat as she tipped the vile, watching as Arthur tensed and prepared himself, gulping down the three heart gulps of holy water from the vile before it was empty and she snatched it away, along with her scarf.

Silence.

Arthur felt fine. He breathed.

And it burned.

It happened QUICK! A sudden wall if agony and fire erupted from his insides, and immediately began to cry, pulling and twisting as tears developed. His veins bulged through his reddening skin, eyes wide but seeing nothing through the blinding pain.

Lewis gripped onto him tightly, whispering sweet nothings, reassurance and Vivi watched with tears forming, helping the deadbeats hold his legs down, unable to anything but that, and listen to her friends agony.

It was during this blind panic that his skin began to grow a green vein pattern that crawled beneath the layers of flesh, turning his skin into a catacomb of green veins along his left side. The skin let off steam, and his eye bled black and green, teeth crackling and popping, sharpening as he growled with animalistic sounds.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! FUUUUCKKKUUUH!" Arthur wailed, his voice sounding somewhat deeper in volume, clearly not his own. "YOU FUCKING BITCH! ILL MURDER YOU!!! WHORE! GAAAAAHHHHG! ILL RIP YOU APARRTTTTUH! WITH THESE FUCKING HANDS!" Arthur spat, the veins darkening as the steam coming off of them turned green.

Vivi whimpered as tears fell from her eyes, turning and looking away, trembling as she held his kicking legs still. Lewis hissed and tightened his grip more, knowing it was hurting Arthur but for Vivi's safety. He was tearing up as well, past the rage that had surfaced at the threat. He did his part and held Arthur still, reluctantly listening, hesitant but able to reassure him that he was going to be fine, feeling the heart beat pounding against Arthur's ribs.

Arthur let out a strangled cry before the green suddenly receded , the veins having shrunken down into tiny little lines. The green vanished instantly and his teeth returned to normal.

Arthur's cries came to an abrupt halt.

His eyes remained wide opened and to the ceiling, body strained and frozen in place at the same time, refusing to draw in air.

He remained this way for a few seconds, tension swirling around the air as he fought to breathe again.

"GUUUUH!" Arthur loudly cried, panting heavily, body jolting and spasming in pain, eyes rolling back into his skull.

His muscles gave and he fell back against Lewis, vision swimming, nearly completely gone. His eyes fluttered shut but he remained conscious as his body writhed in silent pain, feeling something create a bloom of agony within his skull so painful it prevented him from making a sound or moving, body in a state of shock and unresponsiveness.

"Arthur? Hey...bud. You still with us...?" Lewis asked softly, immediately letting Arthur go to lay him down in his lap, running his hands through the blonde's hair. "We are right here...it's okay. Ride the waves and they'll end before you know it." Lewis hummed, petting Arthur's head with a gentle touch.

Vivi was covering her mouth with her scarf, eyes wide and worried and completely filled with tears, biting into her scarf, hiccuping as she anxiously watched her childhood friend in a pained silence.

Hoping.

Praying, that he was okay.

Arthur's breathing slowed to a normal pace, his body ceasing to spasm. His skin lost its red color and his veins his themselves under his skin, no longer popping out as if they were going to burst in anger.

"Th-th-at...s-uc-cked." Arthur forced out with a rasp and a strained voice, throat completely sore and bleeding a little from the intense scream session he just endured.

"Oh thank God." Lewis whimpered, skin returning only for him to smash his lips against Arthur's forehead, tears falling in relief as he held onto Arthur's head.

Vivi burst into a fit of tears and apologies, wrapping her arms around Arthur's middle and proceeded to cry into his chest hysterically.

Arthur winced at their actions, but couldn't really muster up any strength to retaliate or even comfort the two of them, or reassure he was fine. He only laid there, and allowed his friends to care about him a little.

"I'm so sorry Artie! I really am! Did it work?" Vivi sniffled, looking up hopefully at Arthur.

Arthur blinked and looked down at her, then at the ceiling.

It...was...well...it worked in a sense that weakened it considerably. But it wasn't entirely gone. But, it wasn't strong enough nor grow strong enough to become a problem of slight concern.

"Mhm." Arthur nodded, smiling weakly at her. "Yeah, feels kinda nice." He rasped before coughing into hand.

"Easy. Let him regain himself. Don't move or talk to much alright? Your body went under a sever amount of stress just now. It's not healthy for your body to go through that, so I recommend lying still." Lewis spoke softly.

"S-sure thin-ng mama spice." Arthur smiled faintly and closed his eyes, tired.

He was out cold in seconds.

Mind, for once in a long time, able to relax entirely without fear of something interveining.
