About three and a half hours pass and nothing has happened in the ballroom yet.

"Are you sure there's nothing going on?.." Ciel asked.

"I'm certain of it.." Sebastian said.

"Hmm.. He looks suspicious to me.." Ciel slightly pointed at an old man.

Sebastian looked over "Well he does look a bit drunk.."

"Alright, we'll keep an eye on him until midnight.."

"My lord, it is almost midnight"

"Really? What time is it?"

"11:45"

"Oh.. Well for the remaining time, if not we'll do it ourselves after the party is over"

Sebastian nods.

Claude had been staring at Sebastian for a couple minutes, hoping he didn't catch him.

"ude.."
'Who is that?..' Claude thought.

"aude.."

'Hmm..'

Claude!" Alois yelled.

The demon snapped out of it "Your highness.."

"Did you even hear what I said?"

"That you wanted a drink?"

"No!"

"About the guy?"

"Yes! About that old geezer over there!" He pointed at the same man Ciel had said.

"I deeply apologize.."

"You should.. You need to stop having googly eyes at Sebastian and focus on the investigation.."

"Yes, your highness"

"You can play with him later, for now, let's just keep an eye on that guy.."

Claude nodded.

The party was finally over.

"Nothing happened. Sebastian, go get that guy and bring him back here bridge he gets any further to his vehicle" Ciel ordered.

"Yes, my lord" He bowed. He then walked out of the ballroom, heading outside to find him.

'There's a lot of people here.. I need to go up high..' Sebastian got up on the roof within a second making sure no one saw him.

'Hmm..' He searched in the crowd 'Where could he be..'

"He's right there." Claude pointed out.

"Huh?" Sebastian looked to his side "Claude?"

"Hello there"

"What're you doing out here?"

"My master ordered me to help you find him, and I already did"

"Well, thanks but I could have done it on my own"

Claude chuckled "I know, but seriously he's right there" He pointed.

"Thank you.." Sebastian jumped down.

"Well then, your welcome" Claude did the same thing.

"Excuse me sir, may I speak with you inside privately?" Sebastian asked him.

"For what?" He breaths out, his breath smelling like alcohol.

"You forgot your coat and for something else as well.."

"Humph. Fine. But I'll only trust you this once"

"Right.. Shall we go" He stepped aside.

"Yes yea" the old man starts to head inside.

"Good" Sebastian followed behind.

Once they were in, Sebastian took him back to the ballroom where it was empty, except for Ciel, Alois, Claude and the servants whom were cleaning up.

"Young master, I had brought him as told"

Ciel walked towards them "Good"

"Now what is this talk about?" The man grabbed another drink.

"We just want to ask about some families. That I presume you killed?"

"And how do you know if it's me?"

"I could tell by how you were acting earlier.."

The man smirked "Oh really?" He takes a sip.

"Yes"

"Well in that case" He quickly took out his gun and pointed it straight at Ciel, pulling the trigger. But for some reason, it didn't hit him.

"Huh?" He shot again, but still didn't hit him, so he shot again, which failed "What's going on!? How come you're not dead!?"

Ciel chuckled.

"Are you looking for these?" Sebastian had all three bullets between his fingers.

"What the hell!?"

"That was unkind of you to shoot straight at my master"

"He was going to be my next target!"

"Well I guess that didn't work" He dropped the bullets onto the floor.

He then tried shooting at Sebastian, which in this case, it was hitting him but didn't bring any pain. He ran out of bullets afterwards.

Sebastian smirked, his pointy teeth showing "I think this will be the end for-"

"Ciel?..." A young girl's voice interrupted.

Everyone looked towards her.

"Emma!?"

"What's going on?.." She rubbed her eye.

"Go back to sleep!" Ciel said.

"Mamma!! Dadda!!" She says excitedly.

"Who's that?" The man asked.

"Don't worry about that now.."

"Oh?" He smirked.

"So then.. You won't mind if.. I do this!!" He threw a knife at her.

"Emma!" Sebastian shouted.

Claude got to her quickly, moving her out of the way in time.

Sebastian sighed in relief.

"Damn it!"

"Sebastian if I may.." Ciel said.

Sebastian looks at him while moving out of the way. When he did, Ciel shot him in the chest.

"Get him out of here before Emma sees.."

"Yes, my lord.." Sebastian picked up the old geezer while taking him outside and placing him into the ground.

"Are you ok Emma?.." Claude asked.

"Daddy.." She cried.

He sighs "Everything's alright.. Don't worry, I'm here.." He held her close.

Alois was laughing "Wow Ciel! I can't believe you had the guts to shoot him!"

"Well he was going to hurt Emma.. I couldn't let that happen.."

"You're such a softy"

"No I'm not"

"Yes you are"

"Tsk.."

Sebastian came back in 5 minutes or so, walking to where the two were.

"Emma?.. Are you alright?.." He asked.

"Mommy!!" She hugged him quickly but tight.

"Thank goodness.. I wasn't even fast enough to get to you.. I'm sorry.."

"But.. D-daddy saved me.."

"And I'm very happy for him.." He smiled.

"Does daddy get a prize later?" Claude smirked.

"Be quiet you"

Emma held on tighter.

"But for now, let's just stay with the baby until then ok"

"Ok, ok" Claude said.
