Percy giggled as she had Andrew carry her up to her apartment, piggyback style. She used her hair to make his nose wrinkle up and curses spill from his mouth. When he got the door open and made to toss her down on the couch, Percy licked behind his ear and ran away.
"Eww!" Andrew yelped. "Why would you do that?" He scrubbed at his neck even as he fought a smile. Percy peeked around the corner of the hall, smiling.
"Because you were about to throw me down." Her green eyes sparkled as she took a scandalized expression and threw her head back. "I am not a rag doll, good sir." Andrew frowned, rolling his eyes.
"No you're just gross." He poked her stomach then took her hand, lacing their fingers together. "Where's Sam? Paula?" It wasn't new for those two not to be home, just usually they left a note or something.
"Oh, they went to hang out with Paula's sister. They'll be home late and we'll have to fend for ourselves." Percy wiggled Andrew's fingers and smiled faintly as she got easily distracted by how manicured his nails always were.
"That's why you wanted me over, because you can't cook." Andrew taunted, flicking Percy on the nose.
"Well, that's just a bonus." She poked his nose. "Mainly I just wanted us time. We don't get a lot of that." Percy frowned, for real this time. Andrew lifted her chin up and smiled at her. She smiled back.
"Then I'll pick a movie you grab the snacks?" Andrew let her chin go when Percy nodded feverishly.
A few minutes later, they had all the curtains drawn closed, pajamas on, snacks laid out, and a movie title screen on the television. Percy sprawled out over the couch, her feet in Andrew's lap, and a blanket wrapped around them. Andrew rubbed Percy's toes through the girl's fuzzy socks, and clicked play on the remote.
G.B.F played on the screen, the bright colors and cheesy dialogue making Percy and Andrew laugh. Neither of them moved until it was over. Only then did they pack up all their things and move into Percy's room. There were still a few hours until her parent's were home, and Andrew said he had to at least start his work.
So that's what they did, Percy and Andrew spread out their books on her bed, flipping pages and scribbling down notes.
"This is so boring!" Percy groaned. She slammed her book closed and shoved it into her bag. "Let's talk about something!"
"It's only been half an hour." Andrew teased, but he put his things away. He knew Peter would have picked on him for being whipped, but he couldn't say no to the girl across from him.
Percy sighed and laid back, Andrew laying down beside her. "Jacy kept going on about Peter asking her to the dance in two months." Andrew nodded along, though the girl hadn't said anything to him. "Saying that it must be big because he keeps teasing her about it, not telling her exactly what he's planning."
Andrew grinned. "What's your opinion?"
"That Peter doesn't know what the fuck he's doing and is going to be showing up here some time soon begging for help." Percy twisted a piece of her hair around her finger, smirking. "Don't tell me you think anything differently."
"I don't." Andrew chuckled. "Are you going to the dance?" His insides twisted, if she was going with someone he-didn't have a clue what he would do.
"Nah man." Percy shook her head, a few strands of hair hit Andrew in the face. "Maybe with some friends to make fun of all the others. I just don't like the idea of it." She shrugged. "All it is, is a bunch of horny teens trying to show off their dates and win some sort of sick contest between the jocks."
Andrew laughed. "Careful, you sound like Thalen when you say things like that." Percy grinned at him seeming to say, he is my cousin. Andrew chuckled again and laced his fingers with hers.
"Are you going?" She asked.
"Wasn't planning on it. Maybe if a smoking hot chick asks me out, I might consider it." He flexed and kissed his bicep. Percy laughed, holding her mouth with one hand and gripping his hand tight with her other.
"Okay, Wise Guy." She rolled her eyes and sat up. Percy pulled her hair back into a messy low pony tail, then held herself over Andrew with one arm. "So how was your day?" Her green eyes analyzed his face, his eyes, his hair. Anything to answer her question.
"Fine, Luca was a bit annoying." He rolled his eyes, even as his heartbeat picked up a bit. "I got tons of homework, but it's not due for a while." He waved it off.
"Good." Percy chirped, and laid back down at his side, wrapping her arms around him and resting her head on his chest. "Love you Wise Guy." She mumbled into his shirt, already slowly falling asleep.
The girl was going, going, going, until-boom-she passed out.
"Love you too, Seaweed Brain." He mumbled into her hair, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. He looked her over, her pajamas were a pair of shorts and one of his shirts. That gave him no small amount of male satisfaction.
He ran his fingers through her hair as he thought about the dance coming up. No it wasn't prom, it was the Winter Formal. A small dance held inside their hot and cramped gym once a year before Winter Break.
Maybe he'd have the balls by then, but even if he didn't . . . looking at her sleeping on his chest, he knew that he'd be happy to just always have her in his life.
