'Nothing dances faster than my heart for you'

Inside the club
Sadhvi's POV
“Bye Devang, and if anything call me asap.” Rajveen, told her husband on her way out of her room wearing her heels
He nodded, “Yes boss” and moved to peck her lips carrying Dhruv, in arms
She pecked him good and went to wear her other leg footwear,
“I have prepared her milk and even boiled milk for Dhruv and you, okay? Don’t forget…”
“I have everything under control boss, Raju. You go have fun.”
He kissed her forehead
“Are you sure?”
she asked once again and kissed Dhruv’s cheek, “Bye honey”
Devang almost pushed her out saying,
“You are on my speed dial”
I laughed. “Do you want me to drag you now or I should drag you?”
She pursed her lips saying, “I am leaving them both for the first time on him. Mummy ji isn’t home either.”
“They will be fine Rajveen, Devang’s all trained now.”
I winked at her husband
He laughed and said,
“Regards to the teacher” and saluted his wife
“Come let’s go” I walked out of the house because with this speed we wouldn’t be going anywhere out to enjoy.
“Bye mommy. Bye maasi”
“Bye bacche”
“Bye baby”
Before leaving, Rajveen had fed Rishika and lulled her to sleep, to make her husband’s task easier.
He promised to watch over kids because Rajveen after delivering Rishika, hardly goes out these days. Work to home and kids, this has been her life.
Devang’s been insisting her to take a break and get some rest.
“We will be picking Shireen, on our way?” she asked fastening her seatbelts in the passenger seat
“Yup, little Mehek, wasn’t leaving her like ever”
We laughed.
Kids and their mom’s obsession with them,
I am hoping now you guys feel my pain.
I feel left out because every single one of my friend is married or engaged to say the least.
And once again the title ‘late bloomer’ slapped me right across the face.
Just like that.
.
.
We stood by the entry door filling the register with our details.
Shireen, was talking about her mother in law being a little naggy everytime Shireen, plans to go out.
Shireen, is a doctor too like both Rajveen and I, we girls have been friends since college days and went different ways once our specialty was decided.
Never lost touch though. We bonded even tighter. We three don't meet much but everytime we did, we click like atom bombs, in a good way, ofcourse.
“I was so tired of seeing same faces regularly.”
We laughed
“I can understand. Same hospital, back home, kids, husband, in laws” I said
pinching my face.
To which she laughed even harder with Rajveen.
“Hey! You are living your youth”
“From your sides as well!”
I snorted and moved to fill my name and contact details on the register once they were done.
We reached the club ‘Night and light’ in Hauz Khas just five minutes ago.
“Trust me. I am envious, you have lived your single life fantastically and now anytime you will get married, twenty nine is the perfect age.” Shireen said
I rolled my eyes and looked up, meeting the eyes of the club attendant,
“She doesn’t know what she is talking about”
He smiled.
Wow, now I was inviting an outsider in our conversation.
“See even he is agreeing.” I said pointing my pen at him and looking at my giggling friends
“He couldn’t be older than 26 and he is happily unmarried”
“I am 25 ma’ams and happily married”
He said puffing his chest
I opened my mouth, shocked, my friends laughed even worse,
“Even he is taunting me”
I whined and moved a step back once done with filling the lines on the register.
I fake glared at the man.
We moved towards the other attendant who was putting a band around our wrists to permit entry.
There were a couple standing before us and I was standing in the middle of my friends with Rajveen patting my back playfully.
I was wearing a bodycon off-shoulder maroon dress and brown heels with good make-up, it isn’t like we get to wear smoking outfits regularly so why not grab the opportunity everytime I get.
We were busy taunting each other when all three of our eyes rested on the same man.
Shameless married women ogling men.
I wanted to scoff but I couldn’t blame them, the man was breath-taking-ly gorgeous.
He was wearing a grey suit and black leather shoes, was talking to some other man who was not that attracted the reason being in front of him, my eyes couldn’t focus on any the other.
They were being escorted by another man wearing shady blue safari suit, might be anyone of them assistant, I assumed.
The man who looked appealing to my eyes was wearing black shades much to my disappointment- I wanted his eyes.
I held my curiosity to appreciate his feature because mostly everytime I encounter hot men, they are either of short stature or too buff or there face is a little disappointing.
No I am not shaming them.
I am just feeding my eyes.
But he was quite a package if you ask me, strong broad shoulders, good length torso—might be well built you never know, this much was meeting the eye. A good neck.
Yes, good neck!
Hot adam’s apple.
Shady chin and cheek, there wasn’t 5’o clock shade, there was beard a little much than your stubble and he had a moustache.
Small hair shading his facials. And there I lost my heart.
I was never attracted to men with moustache—stubble or beard maybe—but never moustache and here I was having my share of his features.
Tasty indeed.
His hair all black and neatly set. His nose was a little big but attractive nevertheless.
Somebody pinch me!
They walked past us and as soon as there back came in our vision all three of us meet each other’s eyes.
Mirror images of each other we giggled covering our mouths and turned once again to look at him.
The assistant- I assumed, opened the back door for one of them, the white fortuner car they chose to travel.
They still were not walking inside, they stood outside talking still a good 10 feet apart from us.
I turned to meet my friends face who were still witnessing the view when I said,
“Aise log bhi clubbing krte hain”
*People suck kind too come for clubbing?
I joked and laughed.
It was a harmless joke because the man to my eyes was screaming power and hotness altogether. It was obvious he walks out with bodyguards.
Specimen of such specie need protection, the world is too messy for them.
Women like us keep drooling at the view.
If only I was his bodyguard.
The only threat here is you, Sadhvi!
Whatever.
To my horror my friends snapped their heads in my direction and Rajveen pinched my elbow,
“They heard you. They were not that far, Sadhvi”
I laughed without turning back to look at him and surrendered my hands up,
“I was complimenting”
"What kind of compliment was that?" Sje asked and I laughed
They both scoffed but smiling still and we stepped ahead to get the bands and just then I turned to look at him, he was back to talking with the man he was with.
The attendant was tying band on my wrist when I heard someone’s phone going off and my instincts told me, it was his.
And turning back I proved myself absolutely right.
“Dekho mommy ka call aa gya”
*Look mommy called
I couldn’t stop myself blabbering out loud.
With my friends eyes widened they looked at me and then at him and something in their eyes told me, he heard me once again.
Just great!
Why do you keep asking for trouble?!
Rajveen scrunched her face looking at him and patted my back to usher me into the club before he could decide to chop my head off. I didn’t turn to look at him though.
We were almost inside the door when I turned and met eyes gaze, still covered with those black shades he was watching me.
For a moment I think saw him looking at me with shock but soon some other expression lingered there which I couldn’t find myself explaining.
It was not anger or irritation, it was something strange- something least expected. Something we call amusement or more.
Once inside the bar we walked upto the bar and Shireen leaned against it to glare at me,
“Tu apni yeh chonch band nhi rakh skti!” *Can’t you keep this beak of yours shut!
“Hey! I meant no harm”
“Sadhvi, that must have hurt his ego”
Rajveen said
“Once again I meant no harm, and he truly shouldn’t be roaming out without bodyguards. Have you seen him!”
I fanned myself
Shaking their head they giggled again.
“There’s no denying to that. He was hot.”
“But this is obvious, you are more sick than we give you the credits for”
I laughed ordering drinks for ourselves.
We all nodded to ourselves, sharing mutual understanding. They stopped complaining because they knew they enjoyed it too.
And I hoped he wasn’t offended either, for a moment maybe, but not for long.
He needed a breather.
He wasn’t some kid after all.
We spent the night sharing gossips and talking about office and family and the night fell like this.
Before I knew the weekend was ending.
