Full-On Appearance: Shinji cares nothing about his appearance, and doesn't stand out in the crowd much. He tends to sport a black vest over a grey and white v-neck T-shirt. His near-sighted glasses are almost always settled in the breast-pocket, unless he had no time to place it back and nudges it to rest on his inky-black hair. His first penknife is also stored in the pocket, pushed to the bottom so no one notices it when he's disabled of his preferable weapon, a gun, which is stored in a holster by his side. He also wears black tailored pants, as well as tends to go around barefoot. When he's not allowed, he wears navy blue boots. Two black rings are visible in the shell of his right ear. He also has a stud, which matches his eyes- dark midnight blue with flecks of pale grey. He stands at the height of five-foot seven.

HISTORY:

Shinji was raised on an island where he lived for nearly 19 years, working around a single village. When he was 19, a bombing destroyed that island and reduced it to nearly rubble because 'of the massive amount of gold people where unable to get'. According to that, since they couldn't get it, they blew it up so no one could get to it. After that, most of the townspeople left. His sister, Taira, decided a pirate life was more safe for her after another bombing, leaving Shinji confused why a pirate life of bounties would be more 'safe'. After promising to meet up with her again, Shinji joined the Marines and hopes of tracking her down and reuniting with her, despite the low chance.

Short Personality: Blunt. Blunt, and could honestly care less about what the others do. He's only 'loyal' to Jaxson, since he believes the silver-hair is above him. He chooses not to intervene with others, leaving them be. When comforted with a problem of another, he often tells them to 'walk it off' before returning to his task he was doing before. Hardly speaks unless spoken to, Shinji is a very independent person. He's narrow-minded, focused on one thing, not two.
