"And I told you when you left me there's nothing to forgive!" I sung laying down on the couch. "It's hard for me to say, I'm jealous of the way you're happy without me!"

"Zenobia, shush I'm on the phone." Kellz said glaring at me.

"As I sink in the sand watch you slip through my hands. Ohhh as I die here another day cause all I do is cry behind this smile!"

"I'm sorry, can I call you back in ten minutes?" I heard Kellz say as I continued singing until the song changed. 

"Hey hey family!" Jah said as he walked in the house.

"I'm never gonna let you close to me, even though you mean the most to me because every time I open up it hurts. So I'm never gonna get to close to you even when I mean the most to you in case you go and leave me in the dirt!"

"Okay then." He looked at me weirdly going to Kellz.

"Get ya daughter before I hurt her." 

"Lee!"

"Not that damn daughter, that one." She pointed at me.

"But every time you hurt me, the less that I cry. And every time you leave me the quicker these tears dry. And every time you walk out, the less that I love you. Baby, we don't stand a chance, it's sad that it's true. I'm way too good at goodbyes!"

"What she do?" Jah asked.

"Really Jaheim?" 

"Okay, okay." He laughed throwing his hands in surrender. 

"Yeah dad?" Lee asked coming down the stairs.

"What's wrong with ya sister?" 

"Her and Zeph going through something, I think." 

"That explains the sad music." Kellz shook her head as they all looked at me. 

"I know you think that I'm heartless, I know you think that I'm cold. I'm just protecting my innocence, I'm just protecting my sooooul!"

"So what do we do?" Jah asked.

"What y'all gon do because I have a doctor appointment," Lee said.

"Take her with you."

"So she could blow my eardrums out?" 

"I know it hurts sometimes but you'll get over it! You'll find another life to live, I swear that you'll get over it! I know you're sad and tired, you've got nothing left to give! You'll find another life to live, I know that you'll get over it!"

"She gotta get out my house." Kellz said making them laugh. "I'm serious, I'll even drive you to ya appointment as long as she gets out."

"Maybe her seeing the baby would get her back happy, just take her Lee." Jah said.

"I already requested a Lyft, it's a minute away sooo?" 

"Zenobia, up and out! Let's go!" Kellz demanded pulling my phone out the Aux that was connected to the speaker.

"Where we going?" I asked sitting up. 

"With me to my appointment." 

"Okay, I guess." I shrugged putting on my UGG slippers.

I grabbed my airpods, portable charger, and my wallet following Lee out the door. As soon as we got outside the Lyft was pulling up, I looked at the girl while she glared at me. I ignored her looks then put one headphone in my ear and turned my music up. 

"Can you please stop at taco bell? I'll give you twenty dollars." Lee spoke to the girl, she looked up at me and then at Lee.

"If you wanted to go to Taco Bell then that should have been your destination, your destination is the hospital so I'm taking you to the hospital. I have other people to pick up."

"You getting smart for what? You ain't even have to explain yourself, just say no. Doing way too much." 

"You could get out of my car if you feel that way."

"This already charged my card, I'm not getting out of shit. You unprofessional as hell, about to report you, you'll be investigated by the time you pick up ya next client."

"I'm unprofessional because I don't wanna take you to get food? You don't need no more food, you looking a lil heavy."

"Why are you even exchanging words, Lee? You pregnant." I paused my music. "I'm not pregnant and I don't argue so you wanna fight?" 

"Nobi, look at her. She already lost at life, you don't have to fight her."

"No cause now I'm mad, it's not like you asked for her to go all the way across town, we were passing taco bell but she wanna be a miserable ass bitch."

"Miserable over what though?" 

"Bitch, you been mean-mugging since I got in the damn car so you tell me? Why you a mad ass bitch baby?"

"Ya nigga was just all over me yesterday so who really the mad ass bitch? Ain't nobody mugging you, be lucky I ain't play for keeps." 

"That's why ya ugly ass was mugging 'cause you want my life." I laughed. "You don't like me bet you know my name though." 

"Mitch, know my name too."

"You can't make me mad over a nigga who will put hands on you if you tried putting hands on me. My name all over that sis, that's my shit."

"You look like the type to keep going back to a nigga after he cheats, you talking bout I want ya life but you still in school and not doing shit. Get ya funds up boo."

"Girl, you a lil too mad if you could've had my boyfriend. I bet he told your ugly ass off and that's why you're so mad cause you see my beautiful ass."

"You don't even got a car."

"You barely have a car though, ya car peeling and shit." Lee said pulling some of the seat up. "You talking bout my brother was just over you so why you mean mugging her over him? Seem too mad for me." 

"Imma take a picture of ya ugly ass and show him because even if what you said is true, I can not allow him to disrespect himself like that. You way too ugly." 

"Zenobia!" Lee yelled laughing as I took pictures of her.

"She just got me mad." I laughed. "Allat talking and still don't wanna fight, she lucky we here or I would have made her cry." 

I got out of the car slamming the door as hard as I could as Lee did the same making me laugh. As soon as we walked in Mitch and Sef were in the waiting room making me roll my eyes. I walked with Lee to the receptionist's desk as she signed in while Lee went to the waiting room I went to the vending machine to get two bags of Takis.

"I'm so hungry," Lee whined.

"Why didn't you eat before you got here?" Sef asked looking up from his phone.

"The Lyft driver wouldn't stop at Taco Bell." 

"You want me to go real quick?" Mitch asked.

"Please? I won't go in without you." Lee looked at him. 

"Bet." He stood up, looked at me then walked passed me making me roll my eyes.

"Be right back," I told Lee as I followed him. 

He walked to the parking lot as I sped walked, boys be walking so damn fast for no reason. He got in the car before me and I heard it start making me rush to the passenger side. I got in the car then mugged him as he looked at me confused.

"I know you saw me behind you." 

"I ain't even see you walk out." He said looking back so he could pull out. 

I rolled my eyes again, going to my bluetooth on my phone so I could play music. Taco Bell wasn't far maybe like five minutes away so we wouldn't be in the car that long. I pressed the volume making it go as loud as it can. 

"Let me ask you first, what did you think when you saw me? Was I something that you wanted? Or only just another cure for the week?" I sang, Mitch looked at me and then continued driving. 

"Another you don't plan on catching after throwing. Spent a lot of time fixing my heart, gathering my peace of mind and I worked so Goddamn hard! Now I love the girl I become, I deserve better-"

I was cut off by Mitch turning down the radio, I looked at him blankly. He would have been mad if I did that to him so I'm not understanding. 

"Why would you do that?" He ignored me turning into Taco Bell. 

"What you want?" He asked after ordering Sef, Lee, and his food. 

"Taco salad, two chalupas, and a pink lemonade." He repeated my order to the man and then drove up to the first window.

"Here." I handed him a ten. He looked at my hand and then handed the man his card. 

"Stop playing with me." He said smacking my hand down.

"You didn't even have to push my fucking hand." I punched him in the shoulder.

"Imma knock ya head off ya shoulders if you touch me again." 

"Shaking in my damn boots," I said blankly then went to my phone to look for the pictures of the ugly ass girl. 

"Thank you." He told the man to get the drinks and food. I grabbed one of the bags going through it as he pulled off.

"You know her?" I asked holding my phone in his face. He stopped at a red light and grabbed my hand pushing it away from his face then looked at the picture and laughed. "What's funny? Why are you laughing?" 

"She ugly as shit." 

"Well apparently, you like ugly bitches because she was all over you yesterday."

"Why you ain't punch her ass for disrespecting me like that?"

"I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt because she seemed too confident."

"I saw her ass yesterday with Jace and Sef, she was trying to talk to me. I tried to be nice telling her I had a girl but she wouldn't take no so I had to curse her ass out."

"I figured she talking bout she could have played for keeps, Lee and I were just laughing like the girl really ugly." 

"Should've FaceTime'd me or something 'cause that's unacceptable."

"The type of girls you like."

"Funny." He pointed at me.

"Hilarious."

He didn't say anything as I turned on Beyonce x Sandcastles, he turned my music down again making me turn it back on and he glared at me pressing a button so my phone wasn't connected to bluetooth no more.

"I'm dead bout to punch you in ya neck."

"You keep playing these dumb ass songs like I did something to you, you walked out on me."

"I know what I did."

"So stop tryna act so heartbroken when my feelings are hurt. We were having a conversation and you walked out on me."

"I came back."

"Barely, Aanvi! You didn't talk to me, let me touch you, or anything! You didn't even wanna be in the room by yourself. You acting like you so scared of me."

"I'm not mad, I'm disappointed that you want to be a street nigga so bad." I shrugged. 

"What the fuck you mean I wanna be a street nigga? I'm being a street nigga because I'm defending myself?"

"You're not defending yourself when you're searching for people just to kill them Zephyr! It's like you don't even have remorse that you're the reason people are dying."

"You want me to have remorse for people who would have none for me? Everyone I killed was for a real reason, not no petty shit but something serious. I'm not trigger happy but when it's necessary, I have no choice!" 

"Okay, Mitch." 

"What?" He glanced at me. "Don't call me that."

"That's who I'm talking to right?" I asked getting out of the car as we pulled into the hospital, he called my name but I ignored him. 

"Cailee Bullock." The nurse called out as soon as I walked in.

"Just in time." Lee smiled at me as she grabbed my hand excitedly.

"Hey baby girl." Jah said as I sat on the couch cuddled up with a pillow watching Bridge to Terabithia. 

"Hey dad." I moved so I could lay my head on his shoulder.

"What's wrong? You have been home for almost two days now listening to sad songs and watching even sadder movies."

"Not true." 

"You just watched The Notebook before this."

"Okay because Nicholas Sparks movies are the best." 

"Talk to me, princess." He sighed.

"Mitch and I are going through something."

"Like what?" 

"He told me something and I don't know how to handle it."

"If he told you something that's making you this way then that means he trusts you and you should be acknowledging the fact that he wants to talk to you."

"I know he trusts me and I trust him but this- I don't know."

"Can I know what he said?" 

"I asked him about the two boys who were killed and he told me he didn't pull the trigger but he had something to do with it. So I'm just upset because when we first got together Izzy told me something and I slightly overreacted and he reassured me he wasn't that person no more but it seems like he's that person again." 

"When you say that person, what are you referring to?" 

"The person that recklessly takes lives, who just thinking with their trigger finger instead of the actual brain that made him into a businessman. Then it's the fact that he said it with no remorse like it wasn't nothing to take someone from their loved ones, it just rubbed me wrong."

"I've killed people, more than 20 people and I don't give a fuck about how their loved ones feel. You love me any less?" He asked looking at me blankly. "I understand what you're saying but I understand Mitch more because I've lived that life. Princess, niggas won't think twice about ending ya life so why should he? Mitch is a smart-ass man, I know he's not just going around offing niggas for the fun of it."

"He said he has no choice but it's reckless."

"Imagine how you would feel if you got that call right now saying someone murdered him because he didn't pull that trigger? God forbid but he got loved ones too and you're one of them. Yeah, he doesn't have to be reckless but Zeph is a street nigga Nobi. How do you think he is alive? Because he got the street smarts to know when to move and when not to. Trust that he'll come home and he won't bring that shit home to you."

"I get it." I nodded seeing it from his point of view.

"And you say he had no remorse but I promise you he did at first. When you first end someone's life the shit haunts you, it's not easy pulling the trigger and just leaving it there. Go easy on him princess." 

"I guess I should call him," I said as he nodded. I grabbed my phone calling him but he didn't answer so I called again and he still didn't answer, I texted him and waited for him to call me.

"And where are you going?" Dad asked Lee as she had on a dress and some heels.

"Oou, snack attack." I smiled recording her on Snap.

"You annoying sissy." She laughed. "I'm going to this new restaurant opening."

"With who?" Dad and I asked in unison. 

"Yusef, he said it's one of his friend's new restaurants." 

"Oh, it better have been him," Jah said walking out as she rolled her eyes.

"Back together?" I asked.

"No, but I'm horny as fudge and he wasn't trying to provide it unless I went with him."

"I feel ya pain sis." I laughed.

"Girl bye, you haven't had sex in like three days, it's been like two weeks. You don't feel shit." She laughed just as the bell rang. 

"See you sissy, I love you." I said getting up to hug her.

"I love you more sissy." 

After watching The Bridge to Terabithia, I went to my favorite movie of all time, The Outsiders. As Ponyboy and Johnny were running away Sin came into the living room with a sweatsuit and some pink timbs on making me confused as I squinted my eyes.

"I'm bout to go whoop Jace ass and whatever bitch he with, you coming or no?"

"Slow down and explain." I told as I sat up.

"I called Jace and he was at a card game and that's cool, feel me? I'm all down with him wanting to have fun with his friends but then I heard a bitch and he hung up on me without saying anything so I thought it was a mistake so I called back and he declined my damn call, Zenobia!"

"Okay, you know where he at?" I asked.

"Yup, I turned his share my location on."

"Lemme go get dressed," I told her since I just had on some shorts and a tank top.

I got up going to my closet getting the NIKE blue sweatsuit, I hurriedly put that on then my blue UGGS. My hair was already wrapped so I just put a net on top of it and then rubbed some Vaseline on my face. I walked downstairs as Sin stood up, just as we were about to leave out Kellz and Jah walked downstairs.

"Oh, you leaving Nobi? I was bout to cook." Kellz said.

"I'll be back, no longer than an hour."

"Sweatsuits, boots, vaseline, and rings. Who y'all bout to fight?" Jah asked.

"I didn't even notice, Sin how you gon fight with some bright ass timbs? And why you got on Uggs?" Kelly asked as they both laughed.

"These the only other shoes I have here." I laughed. "I only got Foams or Jordans here, damn sure not bout to mess those up."

"Alright but who y'all bout to fight?" 

"Jace might be possibly cheating so we popping up." 

"I'll get the bail money ready." Dad mumbled going to the kitchen.

"Please be safe and do try to avoid jail please." Kellz said kissing both Sin and I on our forehead.

"No promises." Sin said as we walked out.

I went to her car and got in, Sin was so mad that I just found this whole thing hilarious. I connected my phone to the bluetooth playing Eye of the Tiger as she glared at me while I continued laughing and singing along.

"Rising up, back on the street. Did my time, took my chances. Took the distance now I'm back on my feet. Just a man and his will to survive."

"Zenobia, I'm dead ass not playing."

"Come on sing with me, stop being a mad ass bitch." I laughed. "It's the eye of the tiger it's the thrill of the fight. Rising up to the challenge of our rival-"

"Aanvi." 

I laughed turning it off and picking another song since she was so damn mad. I picked another song which made her look at me blankly as I started rolling. 

"Ante up, yap that fool! Ante up, kidnap that fool!" I yelled laughing as I was recording because she was mugging the shit out of me.

"Zenobia, I'm dead ass bout to punch you."

"Aight aight." I laughed turning it off. "I go hard in the motherfucking paint nigga, you stanking nigga. What the fuck you thinking nigga?!" 

She pressed on the break really hard then pressed disconnect on the bluetooth making me clutch over laughing, I tried to be as mad as her but I couldn't. I was just in the house crying to sad ass movies and now I'm happy as fuck because I'm finally getting out of the house.

"Alright, I quit." I laughed plugging the aux cord back in. 

"I used to pray for a time like this to rhyme like this so I had to grind like that to shine like this. In a matter of time, I spent on some locked up shit in the back of the paddy wagon cuffs locked on wrists." 

"See my dreams unfold nightmares come true, it was time to marry the game and I said yeah, I do. If you want it, you gotta see it with a cleared-eye view. Got a shorty, she tryna bless me like I said Achoo." 

"Oh but you'll sing to this." I rolled my eyes.

"You ain't talking bout Sin, Lee and Nobi then what you talking? Boss bitches move in silence and we don't talk a lot. I don't say a word, was on our grind and we getting what we deserved." Sin remixed as I recorded making me hype. 

"HOLD ON WAIT A MINUTE, Y'ALL THOUGHT I WAS FINISHED?" I yelled as the video ended.

Now Sin was rapping along to the music and singing the songs that I was playing making me smile, we were driving for a minute so I ain't want her mad while driving. Bitch wasn't bout to end my life cause she was too mad.

"That's why I fucked yo nigga, you bum ass motherfucker." We both yelled as she recorded us. "First off, fuck ya bitch and the set you claim!"

That's as far as we got since she stopped the car parking down the street as I looked around, this was a white neighborhood. I got out of the car and we walked side to side, Hip Hopper by Blac Youngsta was playing as we walked up to the yard. 

Jace, Eddie, and two girls were sitting on the porch laughing. Sin opened the gate making it squeak getting their attention, they all looked as Jace tilted his head to the side in confusion. Sin and I walked up the stairs standing above them.

"Put me on the joke." She said dryly.

"Why are you popping up on me? Then you look like you're ready to fight."

"I heard a bitch voice then you hung up and ain't answer so what bitch was it? It was one of y'all?" 

"Sincere, relax."

"I'm cool, calm, and collected lil baby but that's about to change if you don't answer my questions." She said holding her fist inside her other one.

"You see how stupid you look?" He asked laughing. Sin punched him directly in his nose I gasped while he held his nose.

"It ain't funny no more, huh? Lemme know wassup so I could leave, I was binge-watching The 100 on Netflix." 

"I don't even feel like fighting." He said holding his head back and pinching the bridge of his nose since it was bleeding. "You heard my damn cousin, Nobi and Sin meet Ice, Ice this my girl Sin and lil sis Nobi."

"That's all you had to say from the beginning, now you got a bloody nose for nothing." 

"Funny, huh? Sin lemme talk to you over here for a min." He grabbed her arm pulling her away from us. 

I shook my head that their relationship dynamic worked for them and them only. I grabbed my phone to reply to some messages since I ignored mostly everybody today. I looked up noticing Jace and Sin walking my way, I put my phone in my pocket laughing at them.

"Damn sis, you couldn't convince her dumbass she was overreacting?" Jace asked as I laughed.

"When do Sincere ever listen to people?"

"Should've told her dumb ass, you weren't gon come with her."

"She would've came without me." I shrugged then looked around furrowing my eyebrows. "That's Zeph car?" 

"Yeah, he let me drive it," Jace said as I looked into his face.

"Why? What's wrong with ya car?" 

"Nah." I shook my head. "Zeph wouldn't even let me touch that damn car so I know he not letting you drive it."

"Since he got that Lambo, he doesn't care about this shit." 

Ignoring him, I FaceTime'd him but he didn't answer so I called him instead and this time it rang then went to voicemail letting me know he declined it. I nodded then looked at Jace.

"He here?" 

"Nah."

"You said that too quick." Sin said what I was thinking.

"Excuse me," I said going up the rest of the stairs.

"Nobi, he was-" Jace grabbed me and I snatched my arm out of his grip.

"Don't touch me again." I pushed passed him going into the house.

I looked around looking for him, I was getting stares, but I didn't care. I walked into the kitchen and long and behold was this nigga. Redd was smiling ear to ear as he was hunched over laughing, they looked like they were reminiscing. 

"Isn't this cute?" I laughed getting their attention as he backed up. "Oh, don't stop 'cause I'm here."

"No-"

"This why you declining my calls right?" I came further into the kitchen while he looked at Jace. "Oh, yeah he's a bad liar."

"Let's go talk out-"

"You wanna go outside, huh? You don't want to get embarrassed in front of ya friends? You don't wanna get fucked up-"

I was about to punch his dumb ass but Jace jumped in front of me. "Relax Nobi, don't put y'all business out for people to talk."

"You need to be telling her how stupid she looks instead," Redd said.

"Oh yeah bitch, I have been waiting." I laughed swinging as Jace grabbed me again. "All jokes to the left, you touch me again I'm deading your shit." 

"Stop grabbing her. Mitch got this booty bitch touching him and shit like he doesn't have a girl, then it's the same bitch who always got something to say. Imma swing for her if you touch her again and that's on my soul." Sin said.

"Nobi, come on, you making a scene," Jace said as some people stood by the kitchen entrance.

"I don't give a fuck, you knew he was in here with this bitch, that's why you lied for him right? That's cute. You don't want me to make a scene? Now I'm finna show my ass."

"You really look desperate as hell coming here like this like if you gotta track ya, man, down and pop up then you need a new man."

"Bitch, you are desperate as fuck. You tried to suck his dick in a restaurant bathroom, you don't have shit to say to me!"

"Is the young girl mad? The poor baby. I've told you from the beginning you could never compete with me now look at you mad cause Zeph decided he needed more range than the young girl who can't do shit for him but wet his dick."

"Alright it's-"

"What the hell going on?" Roddy asked coming into the kitchen. 

"Girl, it's been months since Zeph has spoken one word to you. Do you think whatever this is is getting me mad? I can leave a nigga and have him chase me for the rest of his life. My young ass has your old ass wishing I left Zephyr alone so you can have a chance again. The nigga you've been with for years picked me over you when he didn't even know my real name. That shit got your heart dropping to your stomach every time." 

Redd looked around the kitchen looking embarrassed, so she decided to run towards me only for her to get punched in her jaw making her fall to the floor. I grabbed her hair kicking her in her face multiple times before Roddy and Zeph grabbed me.

Sin replaced me as she punched her multiple times' dog walked her all over the kitchen until Jace grabbed her, pulling her away. 

"I hope someone recorded that; I'm going to sue you!" Redd yelled with blood dripping down her face along with some knots that were forming. 

"Go ahead bitch!" I yelled, trying to get out of his grip. "I know where you live, work, the doctor you go to, I know everything! I'm going to make you too scared to come out of the house; Imma torture you every time I see you."

"Nobi, come on," Jace said as I pulled out my phone. 

"When you bring this to social media, Imma just post this video you pussy ass bitch. Look at your face."

"Y'all had to jump me!" She laughed.

"So let's go head-on." I moved Zeph's hands still recording.

"Don't let her touch me, I'm going to call the cops." 

"Yeah, you pussy ass bottom of the barrel ass bitch. Remember this feeling every fucking time." 

Mitch grabbed me by my waist to pull me out of the kitchen, but I snatched out of his grip and walked ahead of him going to Sin car. I was pissed the fuck off that my nails were digging into my skin from me clenching my hand in a fist. 

"Zenobia! Aanvi! Where are you going?!" He grabbed my arm, making me turn around.

"Zeph, I'm begging you to let me walk away and talk to me when I'm not seething anger."

"No, I always let you walk away from me. We can't move on if-"

"We not gon fucking move on because you smiling in bitches face and letting them touch on you and shit like you don't have a fucking girlfriend! I am your fucking girlfriend and while I was calling you to apologize, you ignored my calls to be in a bitch face, the same bitch who you swear you don't want!"

"I get it, I'm wrong, I am. I take full responsibility but you just asked me about being back friends with Izzy so why can't I be friends with Redd?"

"You could do what you want now 'cause you don't have to answer to me, and I damn sure don't have to answer to you no more."

"Don't do that."

"The minute we not talking, I find you in the same bitch you said I won't ever have to worry about face. If she what you want, have her." 

"I mess up one time, and it's just over?" 

"Yeah." I nodded my head. "I think you need time to get ya head right; you could do what you want because you're single."

Sin walked to the car as he continued trying to plead his case; I didn't care for anything he was saying. My mind was made up, and it was not changing until his actions showed me otherwise.

"Zeph, let me go. I wanna go home."

"Aanvi, please do not leave me while you are mad at me. Let's talk about it."

"Let me go."

"Come on bro, people looking and being nosy and shit. Come on." Jace said.

"I don't give a fuck about them, I want my girlfriend! Fuck these people!" He raised his voice.

"Mitch, come on," Roddy said, walking closer. 

"You want me to go tell Redd she doesn't mean shit to me? Come on; we could go right now." He pulled me, forcing me to walk. 

"Roddy, get your cousin off of me," I said, trying to stand my ground but he was strong as hell. 

"Zeph, she doesn't wanna go; let her go. You made your bed bro."

"If I let her get in that car, I might not get her back. I'm not hurting her, so I'm not letting go. Nobi, I'm high as hell. I know this is not me and I know I didn't wanna be in that bitch face. I'm wrong, wrong as hell but baby doesn't leave me high and dry." 

"You high off what, Zeph?" 

"Weed, duh." 

"You're stumbling and shit Zeph. Did you smoke with that bitch? Did you at least watch her roll?" I asked as he shook his head. "Are you fucking dumb? You the one who told me she put extra shit in her blunts, why are you being so damn stupid Zephyr?"

"This why I need you in my life baby, I'm stressed and doing stupid shit without you." He chuckled.

I rolled my eyes deciding to just let him get in the car so we could go to my house, Jace helped me into my bed and then walked away making sure we were good. I stripped Zeph down since I know he wouldn't be comfortable in clothes. I was going to sleep in the guest room, but I was scared just in case he had to throw up or something in the middle of the night so I stayed put sleeping the opposite way so he wouldn't touch me.

I woke up seeing Zeph still asleep, I yawned, going to take a shower. After my twenty minutes shower, I was type hot, so I put on my robe then, grabbed my phone, going into the kitchen. I checked the fridge since I was starving. I grabbed the eggs, bread, bacon, and other ingredients for breakfast. 

"We don't talk no more, it feels better when I'm alone. Sometimes I feel like there's no getting through to you like you don't appreciate all that I do, you gotta show me that you want me to stay, don't turn and walk away! Baby, I'm slowly falling out of love with you, I don't know what to do." 

"That's how you feel?" Zeph asked making me jump. I rolled my eyes turning off the stove and dividing the now done bacon on plates for both of us. 

"You would know if I felt like this," I said blankly, noticing he took a shower since he was shirtless in his Bape sweats that I stole. "You remember yesterday? Or is your dumb ass still high?"

"Last thing is seeing Redd at that dumb ass party Jace took me to. I kind of remember us arguing but that might've been a few days ago, shit fuzzy."

"We were arguing because I walked into the kitchen seeing you and Redd laughing like y'all were good old friends. I beat her ass, Sin beat her ass, and I was tempted to beat your ass but decided to just break up with you and leave instead. You wouldn't let me leave so we started going back and forth."

"So how did I get here?" 

"I guess you and Redd smoked and I don't know why you hit her blunt when you told me she sometimes adds different shit."

"How did you even know about the party?" 

"Sin wanted to pop up on Jace, so when they made up, I noticed ya car, and Jace knew you were with Redd, so he tried to lie to me, but I'm not stupid, so I walked in ready to beat ya ass."

"I don't know why I gave her the benefit of the doubt 'cause I remember asking her ass did she put anything in the blunt and she said no. I don't know what the fuck she wanted me drugged up for anyway." 

"Her desperate ass was probably gon rape you."

"Men can't get raped."

"You must still be high 'cause I know at your big ass age you don't believe that. If it's against your will or without your consent, it's rape. Age, gender, race doesn't matter; rape is rape."

"You said you broke up with me?" 

"Yeah."

"You tried it." He laughed 

"Boy bye."

"Where the fuck is my phone?"

"Don't know, but you had it because you were denying all my calls."

"No, I wasn't, see where my shit at." I did as said as he walked to my side of the table, looking at my phone. "That's Redd house; this bitch took my phone? Imma gon kill this bitch."

"I'm coming," I said as he shook his head.

"I'm not even going; Imma send Jace over there. Fuck is she taking my phone? She nutty as fuck, yo."

"The girls you like." I laughed. "After I beat that ass, I told her Imma stalk and torture her, so she might be pressing charges on me."

"I'll get those charges dropped if she does."

"I was just talking about the torturing part, but if she messed up my record any more than it is, I'll do it."

"No need."

"For her sake, I hope."

"We good?" He asked, reaching across the table to grab my hand.

"We have some things we have to discuss, but overall we're fine." I poked my lip out.

"I apologize for the shit I did yesterday and for not understanding your point about the shit with the streets. We do have some more shit to talk about, but I missed you so much, the longest five days I've ever had. Couldn't even sleep."

"Same; I had to sleep with Lee or my mom."

"I missed you so much." He walked towards me, wrapping his arms around me as I melted in them.

"I missed you more, way more."

"Lemme show you how much I missed you." He smirked, putting me on the counter.

"Kitchen sex? I'm here for it."

"You get on my nerves." He laughed, opening my robe as he pushed me back. "My favorite meal." 

I think I've missed this the most.
