"Sometimes I just feel like everything is going too perfect, any moment something is going to ruin what we have and I'm going to be heartbroken." Nobi told me as she lay on my chest while 90s music played lowly.

"Why, though?" 

"I've never been this happy in my life, I be thinking it's a dream but then I wake up and it's still the same. Every day gets better between us, I'm just scared."

"It's my job to make you feel this way, when we argue I be miserable. I don't ever want you to go through shit alone, you won't want for nothing and you won't ever search for happiness elsewhere."

"And then you say shit like that, you're going to make my gangster ass cry." I smiled kissing her forehead.

"I'm just being honest though, I was just telling Jace before we went to the block party like I'm really in love bro."

"At least you know the feeling is mutual, I'm in love with you." 

"I know because you show and tell me."

We fell into a silence, a comforting silence. We were in our own thoughts as I continued to dwell on our relationship. To think, a few months ago she wasn't even trying to fuck with me but now look at us. I promise this was the last relationship I was going to be in because can't anything or anyone make this feeling go away. 

"Do you wanna go to prom with me?" She asked after a few minutes looking up at me. 

"I think I want a prom proposal." I joked making her roll her eyes. 

"I mean I can ask Izzy and he'll say yes without even thinking about it." 

"I mean I can whoop both of y'all ass without feeling bad about it." I shrugged. 

"You always so violent." 

"You more violent than anybody." 

"Whaaat?" She dragged out. "I am against all that, fighting? What is that?" 

"Righttt." I dragged out laughing. 

"What do you want for your birthday? I've been trying to think of something but you have everything so why not ask you." 

"I don't want nothing." I told her honestly. "As long as I'm with you, I'll be alright." 

"But I want to get you something, you spend money on me everyday. I wanna spend money on you for once to make you happy." 

"I spend money on you because I got it, I could afford to waste money cause however much I spend I could make it back in the next hour. Don't spend your money on me when it can go to something useful."

"I want to though Zeph, I wanna make you happy." She repeated. 

"Material shit don't make me happy though baby." I looked at her. "I would be okay without all my cars and designer shit, I buy shit just because I can sometimes. You are what makes me happy." 

I pulled her on me as she smiled putting her hands on my chest, she looked at the time making me look. It was 7:30 and we should already been getting ready but we were still cuddled up, knowing what I was thinking she laid down on my chest.

"Can we stay home today? I'm not doing anything in my classes and I can ask someone for the work." 

"I'll call out of work since I really don't have the energy to get up." 

I pulled out my phone going to my assistant's number and told her I wasn't going to be in and to tell her to hold all messages until I came in and to send urgent messages to me. Just as I was about to put my phone down, my mother was calling making me sigh but I answered anyway putting the phone on speaker.

"Zephyr!" She yelled making me roll my eyes.

"It's seven in the morning, what you yelling for yo?" 

"Who you talking to?" 

"How can I help you?" 

"I was calling to remind you that tonight is the family dinner we throw every month, you're coming and that isn't a request." 

"I already got plans with No-"

"I already invited Nobi and she told me yesterday y'all were coming so stop playing with me Mitch." She said making me glare at Nobi as she held her hands in surrender. 

"Everybody else coming?" 

"Yeah, including Jace and his lil girlfriend, he claims he has, You know her?" 

"Yeah, that's Nobi's best friend." 

"Where is my daughter-in-law? When was the last time you saw her? You better not fuck that up."

"She right next to me, she hear your annoying self." 

"Hey daughtaa!" She yelled making Nobi laugh.

"Hey ma!" She smiled.

"FaceTime me later."

"Okay, text me when." 

"Bye Zeph, you better be here at 7 o'clock sharp or I will deflate ya big ass head." She hung up before I could say anything. 

"Why would you say yes?" I glared at Nobi.

"Because Lee and Sef are telling the family, she is pregnant and I can't say no to your mother." 

"They doing that today? I thought they were going to talk to her in private, wow." I laughed. "I'm definitely going."

"That's sad, only going to see the drama unfold." 

"You be FaceTiming my mother?" 

"Your sisters, brothers, father, uncles, aunts and cousins too." She said making me raise a eyebrow. "They love them some Nobi."

"They all annoying, after Sef give his announcement watch I leave."

"We can." 

I didn't say anything back scrolling through Instagram then texting Jace and Sef letting them know about dinner then checking some emails. I saw an unknown number text me but I deleted it without even reading the message. 

"Would you be mad if I referred you as my bitch?" I asked seeing a post.

"No." She answered looking up from her phone. "I refer to you as my nigga sometimes so I don't see the difference." 

"I don't call you my bitch but I just saw a post and wanted to ask."

"Maybe other girls care but I don't."

"This why you my bitch." I grasped her hand making her laugh.

"Can we take a nap?" 

"No, I'm not-" I got cut off by a yawn.

"Nope, come on. Nappy nap time." 

She took my phone and laid on my chest running her nails through my head making me more tired than I was, this felt so good, I needed to get her nails done more often.

"Who are you getting cute for?" I rolled my eyes. "You could go there in sweats and a damn tee shirt." 

"No, you can wear sweats and a tee shirt because this is your family." 

"Whatever, you better be ready by time I come back in here." I told her walking out the room. 

I went into the kitchen seeing Sin and Jace play fighting on the couch, he had her pinned down by her hands while she was biting him on his cheek. I laughed leaving them be walking in the kitchen to get some soda, I grabbed the Dr.Pepper and leaned over going through Instagram.

"Zeph, can you pass me the pickles?" Lee asked walking in the kitchen rubbing her stomach. 

"Which ones?" 

"None." Sef walked in.

"Why?" I asked.

"She ate enough in the last hour, she good." 

"She pregnant."

"So? That don't mean she gotta eat everything in sight. We bout to go to a dinner then she gon be smelling like pickles, no." He said then walked towards the back.

"Sis, which ones you want? Not bout to deprive my niece cause you think she ate too much." 

"The whole ones." Lee answered. 

I grabbed the plastic bags then went to get a fork and picked a pickle for her putting it in a plastic bag then handing it to her. She said thank you then walked away smiling while eating her pickle making me laugh. 

"Aanvi! Come the fuck on!" I yelled annoyed, ma been blowing up my phone for the last fifteen minutes like damn I'm coming. 

"Stop fucking yelling at me bitch!" She said walking in the living room.

"Like you dressed basic as hell just to take all that time, you shouldn't have told her we was coming at a certain time if you was gon take your time!" 

"I told her we was coming at 7:30, it's 7 fucking 15 like relax with your mad ass."

"Ain't nobody mad, she not blowing up your phone being annoying!"

"Issa maddie!" She yelled laughing. 

"We gon see who gon be real mad." I told her walking in the garage going to the jeep wrangler. 

Jace, Sin, and Nobi walked off getting in the car as the garage door opened, I didn't lock the gate since Sef was right behind me. Nobi hooked her phone up to the aux as she and Sin started rapping.

"Y'all hoes kill me, always wanting the next chick issues bitch you want her life but don't even know what she been through. I mean for all you know my nigga could be a headache." She rapped recording herself. 

"Before we go in here, let me tell you I used to mess with Zeph's cousin Mils," Jace said as I pulled into my parent's neighborhood. "It was nothing serious but a few people might be shady since I am introducing you as my girl." 

"Your girl?" Sin smirked. "When we agree on this?" 

"Bitch stop playing with me." He said making me snort since he caught me off, guard. 

"Nah but for real, my family is shady and might throw shots. I'm not telling you to chill cause I know whatever come to mind you gon say but just don't do the most." I told her.

"What he said."

"I've never held my tongue for anyone, not going to start today but I will lower it to a minimum." Sin said getting out the car.

I put my keys in my back pocket waiting for Sef and Lee to come on, three more minutes passed and Sef car was parking behind mine. I looked at him as he glared at me making me furrow my eyebrows, I watched him and Lee walk towards me. 

"Fuck you looking at me like that for?" I asked.

"Cause I specifically told you not to give her the pickle and you gave it to her anyway." 

"So?"  

"She spilled it on herself so I had to watch her pick another damn outfit out." 

"Well, it happened already, shut up." 

"I don't even wanna be here." He mumbled as we walked to the front door. 

"Who you telling?" I rolled my eyes opened the door walking in. 

"Ooh they playing that work." Nobi said two stepping to the house music. 

"Ayee." Sin joined her making me laugh, they annoying. 

I followed laughter going into the living room seeing scattered people, I spoke then went into the kitchen where I knew my mother and aunts would be. I held the low of Nobi back guiding her to the kitchen as my aunts, sisters and a few cousins was there.

"My favorite nephews." Von said hugging me and Sef then hugging Jace. "Look at my lil boyfriend."

"Uh uh sis." Sin said making us laugh. 

"Jace, how you gon bring ya foreign side chick knowing I was going to be here?" Von said making us laugh.

"You bought ya Jimmy John nigga." He looked over at a white man sitting next to my father laughing making me laugh.

"Jimmy John though?" Sef asked laughing. 

"Hey ma!" Nobi said going to kiss her on her cheek hugging her then hugging the rest of my aunts while I all spoke to them. 

"Ma, this my girl Sin. Sin, this my second mom Mo. My aunt Jo, you know Von and Zori. This Amour and Zeph cousins Mils, Shelly and Cray." 

"How y'all doing?" Sin smiled. 

"You're gorgeous." My aunt Joelle said. 

"Aw, thank you. Y'all are all beautiful too." 

"Thank you." 

"How do I tell y'all apart?" Sin asked looking at the twins then my aunts. 

"Von will always be the ghetto ass one, yelling and shit." My mom said making us laugh.

"Mo will always be the one trying to be in everybody business and annoying." Aunt Joelle said.

"And Joelle the quiet as hell one, always observing shit. She think she a detective." Von said making us laugh.

"With the twins it's easy." I told her. 

"Zori, the gay one so she always around the boys, always tryna play fight and she dress more tomboyish." Sef said.

"And Amour think she too cute for everybody so she always wearing skirts, dresses or something. She just girly as hell." I told them.

"I am too cute." Amour rolled her eyes typing on her phone. 

"When the food gon be ready? I just came here to eat." I said honestly. After I ate and Sef did his announcement, we were leaving. 

"We're just waiting on the meats, go back there and speak to your uncles and them." My mom said making me nod my head then grab Nobi hand. 

I walked in the backyard to see my uncles, cousins and pops at the grill or just scattered around talking and playing. Roddy was sitting down on his phone ignoring who was talking to him, I laughed walking over to him. 

"Oh word? Yeah that's cool." He mumbled lowkey sighing. 

"Wassgood bitch?" I asked making him hop up silently thanking me.

"I'll see you later cous." He told the boy making me laugh. "Y'all finally here damn, y'all know I don't fuck with these people."

"Me either, I didn't wanna come, I'm only here for Sef." 

"Oh yeahh, he telling them? Hell yeah, I can't wait." He chuckled. 

"Who this nigga?" Sef asked glaring at some boy making me look in his direction furrowing his eyebrows.

"I don't know." I mumbled still looking at him. 

"That's Amour's boyfriend." Rod said making me push my head back and look at him.

"What Amour?"

"Nigga ya sister."

"She ain't tell me bout no boyfriend, oh nah." I said bout to walk towards him but my pops and uncles called me. 

"Nephew come here!" Roddy father, uncle Jamie said.

"Wassup unc?" 

"Y'all little niggas can't speak?" Uncle Ivo said as we dabbed all them up.

"I was trying to figure out when Amour get a lil boyfriend." 

"They been dating for like three months now." Pops said.

"So y'all knew and nobody told us?" Sef asked.

"You and Mitch the only ones who don't know, she said y'all hate her so y'all don't talk to her anymore." He said making me scrunch up my face.

"What? She sounds stupid." I shook my head.

"Anyways, hey lady Mitch." Uncle Algee said making her smile and wave.

"Hey y'all."

"This my girl Sin, Sin these my uncles Nyko, Algee, Jamie and Ivo." 

"How y'all doing?" Sin smiled.

"How old are you?" Uncle Ivo looked her up and down.

"Aye Unc." Jace laughed making us laugh. "You better chill." 

"I'm 19." She laughed.

"And you gon tell him ya age anyway." Jace side-eyed her. "It don't matter, he gon return ya ugly ass back so I ain't tripping." 

"All jokes to the left though, she annoying as fuck." Sef said making me laugh and agree, Sin was one of the most irritating ass people I ever met. 

"The food ready?" I asked. 

"Give us like ten minutes then we can eat, go set the table." Pops said making me look at him blankly. 

"Ma already did it." I lied.

"Oh aight, well then chillout til then." 

I nodded taking Nobi hand sitting her on my lap as I sat next to the pool, she ran her nails through my head and looked around. It seemed like she was looking for somebody so I started looking around with her. 

"Where Zurich, Royal, Nova and Zariah?" 

"Zurich and Zariah always late to these shit so they might not come until dinner ready. Royal upstairs because he don't like nobody and Nova probably in the play room playing with my little cousins." 

"Why don't y'all like y'all family?" She laughed. "They seem pretty cool."

"Don't get me wrong, I fucks with my family but sometimes family ain't as loyal as they supposed to be."

"Don't I know it." She mumbled making me laugh. 

My uncle went to the radio changing the playlist to cookout music making Sin, Lee and Nobi squeal. I looked at the three of them and sighed, they was bout to have their own little turn up with this music. 

"Follow me, follow meeeee!" Sin yelled two stepping with Nobi and Lee making me laugh and record them. 

"I'm mad they so turned up." Roddy laughed. 

I shook my head putting them on Snap and Insta then looking up at Amour and her boyfriend. He was whispering in her ear and she looked upset at what he was saying, he was also grabbing her wrist on the low as she tried to get out his grasp. This nigga was bold as hell doing this in front of her family, in front of me.

I walked over there and stood above them, they both didn't notice but now I could see his grip getting tighter and she was asking for him to let her go. I shook my head and sat down across from them.

"I advise you to take your hands off my little sister before you won't have any use to your hands anymore," I said calmly drinking my beer and still looking at Nobi and them dancing.

"We were just talking." He said.

"And once you put your hands on my sister, it's not talking. It's a death sentence."

"It ain't really ya business." 

"I'll beat ya ass for the fun of it." I shrugged sitting up then leaning my elbows on my legs finally looking at him. 

"Zeph relax."

"Mhm, Mor lemme talk to you." I stood up going into the house where nobody would interrupt us. 

"Yes?" She asked looking down at the floor.

"I would hope you wouldn't stick around and get beat on by a man." 

"Zeph, he doesn't hit me I promise." 

"Has he ever?" 

"Yes, I'll hit him and he'll hit me back but it never escalates where it's considered domestic." She said making me study her.

Grabbing a napkin and a bottle of water I poured it on the napkin and handed it to her. "Wipe ya makeup off for me." 

"Mitch, I-"

"Amour, wipe ya fucking makeup off." I raised my voice making her jump. She sighed but started rubbing her face until it was bare. 

I studied her face not seeing any bruises, I however did see a busted lip. I grabbed her chin tilting her head up looking at it more, somebody had to punch her pretty hard for it to be like that.

"Who hit you?" 

"I told you we have fights." 

"If you wanna be stupid and keep going back to a nigga when he beats you then imma let you, I ain't saving nobody that don't wanna be saved. If this nigga could hit you hard enough for ya lip to look like this then what's next? The fuck you scared of that nigga for?" 

"Why are you acting like you care? You don't! I don't need fake love or concern! I can handle myself!"

"Why wouldn't I care dipshit? You my fucking little sister! You really think I hate you? I love you, you know that. We don't talk as much or hang out anymore because you're a fucking troublemaker! Talk or not, you my fucking sister and I'll put my life on the line for you, I'm telling you I could help but only when you ask."

"Alright Mitch." She rolled her eyes. 

"You've been raised around men who treat females like royalty, so why would you choose somebody who wanna hurt you mentally, physically and emotionally? If you need me, you know my number." I shook my head going back to the backyard where they was still dancing. 

"Mitch! Come dance!" Nobi smiled grabbing my hands, I rolled my eyes standing still as she grabbed my hands swaying side to side. "Mitchh."

"Fine." I mumbled mocking her actions. 

"I don't wanna be alone cause it feel so right it just can't be wrong. You mean the world to me, I don't mind what they say cause they just can't seeeeee!" Nobi sung as we danced. 

"Yo, she annoying!" Sin laughed as Nobi kept dancing. 

"I say yeah, oh! Yeah, oh! Yeah, oh! I know, I know, I know." Lee yelled putting her hands in the air swaying.

"I know know know know." Sin sung as I laughed twirling Nobi around then dipping her as she came back up sticking her tongue out putting her hand son her knees. 

"He loves me, he loves me not." She repeated as I looked at Jace attempt to dance with Sin.

"Y'all really lit, huh?" Zurich asked making us laugh.

"Richie!" Nobi yelled hugging him as he glared, he didn't like that name. 

"Aanvi!" He matched her enthusiasm making me laugh as she glared at him. "The food ready? It's bout to be 8, it better be." 

"Yeah, they setting the food out now." 

"Oh, you're bugging. I'm bout to go get a good seat." Sef said making us agree as we walked towards the dining room. 

The dining room was made for specific dinners like this, the big ass dining table was big enough to fit forty people. I sat in the middle of Nobi and Jace as Sin sat on the right side of Jace with Royalty next to her. Sef and Lee sat across from us next to Zurich and Zariah. 

"Hey Urban." Lee and Nobi said all flirty making me raise an eyebrow.

"Hey beauties." He smiled and Nobi had on this big ass kool-aid smile.

"Nobi, Lee, I love y'all. Both of y'all like my little babies but y'all better get over y'all lil crush on my husband." Zariah raised her eyebrow making them laugh.

"You got a crush on Urban?" I asked.

"Shit I got a crush on Urban, you could have him, I just keep him satisfied through the weekend." Sin said making us laugh.

"Sincere, I will cut you." Zariah laughed. 

"Don't worry sis, he yours. Me and sis just want one night." 

"One satisfying ass night." Nobi smiled biting her lip.

"You know I'll beat you the fuck up right?" I asked pulling her lip from her teeth.

"Ow Zeph!" She yelled smacking me in my shoulder.

"Y'all lil hot asses gon get my foot up y'all ass." Zariah laughed.

"Chill babe, I only want you." He kissed her temple. 

"Aww, Jace you never fucking say that to me." Sin rolled her eyes.

"Chill baby, you the only one who get my dick hard." He said making me almost spit up my soda.

"AYO!" Roddy yelled smacking the table.

"That's not funny, he gets on my fucking nerves." She laughed.

Everybody started filling out seats making me lowkey cheer in my head, I was ready to eat up then go lay up with my princess. I held her hand then Jace as my mom started the prayer, I was hoping she didn't overdo the prayer so I could hurry up and eat.

"Amen." We all said as we started passing around dishes filling up our plates. I looked over at Nobi seeing she had only mac and cheese on her plate.

"Put some vegetables or meat on ya plate." I told her as she rolled her eyes.

"That girl is not ya child." Roddy laughed.

"I swear he be thinking I'm his child, always tryna tell me what to do." 

"Because you don't use the common sense the Lord gave you." I said making them laugh.

"Yeah okay." She scoffed. 

"How did y'all meet?" My cousin asked looking at Sef and Lee.

"We met at Walmart." Lee smiled. "I was trying to reach for something but his green giant self grabbed it so easily handing it to me."

"Mind y'all, she had on some baggy ass sweats, big ass white tee with stains on it, a scarf, tissue hanging out her nose and all but I still thought she was beautiful." He looked at her with low eyes as we all smiled.

"I was high key embarrassed, it's like you always run into people when you look your worse." She shook her head. "I tried to walk away and he asked me what was my name and how old I was."

"She was only three years younger but young bitches be childish as hell and I never messed with anybody younger than me so I didn't know if it was worth it. We exchanged numbers anyway though."

"We literally talked everyday, it wasn't a day we went without talking. Til this day, we don't go days without talking. Even when we piss each other off, we still talk. Our bond is just that strong."

"I love you." Sef spoke still staring at her as she looked up at him smiling. 

"I love you more." She leaned towards him connecting their lips. 

"Aww." The girls said making me laugh.

"So what about y'all?" Mils asked looking at Jace.

"I saw a picture of him on Mitch's Instagram and I decided he was my man. Nothing special." Sin shrugged making me laugh. 

"Sin, really?" Riah asked making us laugh.

"We don't got no romantic story." She laughed. "I got his information, found out about his personal life, stalked him for like two days then he was out of jail and I was getting my back-"

"Sin." Jace cut her off coughing. 

"Oh my bad." She laughed with Nobi. "But yeah, I was just grateful he was out of jail although I was willing to be his trap queen. I was gon move bricks for the-"

"Sinn!" Lee yelled laughing. 

"I was willing to sneak drugs in jail for the-"

"Alright Sin." Jace laughed.

"I feel you." Riah laughed. "I was finna cut y'all hoes for the dick." 

"Zariah." Lee gasped laughing.

"I was gon give up my life and be the perfect house wife for that dick!" Riah yelled.

"Alright, alright. Take that somewhere else now." Dad said glaring at Riah as she held her hands up in surrender.

Throughout the rest of the dinner we were playing, talking about different subjects, them getting to know Lee, Nobi and Sin. A little shade was thrown here and there but they ignored it making me glad, I ain't wanna see no fighting today. When we was done eating I looked at Sef as he nodded his head.

"Aye y'all." He said getting some of our attention. "YO!" 

"Nigga, why you yelling?" Royal asked texting somebody.

"Cause y'all loud as hell, be quiet real quick." 

"So uh- I'm getting married." I told them looking around as they squinted their eyes.

"To who?" Royal asked making me smack my teeth as we all looked at him.

"He got another girl?" Nobi asked raising her eyebrow looking between us.

"I'm just saying you my girl and once y'all get married, I don't think I could do this anymore." 

"Wow, shaking my head." 

"Zeph, you're playing right?" Mom asked.

"Yeah, the real announcement is Cailee is pregnant. Four months, well nineteen weeks to be exact." Sef said making everybody go silent. 

"Another niece or nephew?" Zariah asked.

"We don't know yet." Lee said.

"Well congrats sis, pray this make y'all closer than y'all already are." Zurich kissed her cheek. 

"I'm kinda salty but I heard pregnant pussy the best so I ain't that mad I'll still fuck with you until you get fat as fuck." Royal said making us look at him again. I slapped him in his head since Sef was too far.

"So?" He asked.

"Congrats Nephew." Aunt Joelle said smiling.

"I feel like imma be a grandmother, oh God." Von said making us laugh. "Congrats baby, even though I already knew." 

Everybody said congrats and their well wishes except pops and ma. I knew he was waiting for their response and when he didn't get one he looked at both of them with furrowed eyebrows.

"Ma? Pops?" He said looking at them.

"You know I'm always going to support you in everything you do, congratulations," Pops said nodding his head as Sef smiled. 

"Ma?" He asked as we all looked at her. She poured some more wine and looked at Sef.

"Do you think you ready for that?" She asked.

"No but I have no choice but to get ready." 

"She's not even 18 yet, how do you know she won't just be like those young mothers who leave their child with anyone?" 

"Because she's the most responsible person I know. This wasn't planned at all and we could have waited a few years but it's already happening and I'm excited for my seed to be here." 

"It seems like you have everything planned out in your head so what you still looking at me for?" 

"I was waiting for a congratulations but I guess I'm not going to get it." 

"Why would I congratulate my son getting a little girl pregnant? Not just any little girl, a little girl who put her hands on your sister?" 

"Everybody know how Amour mouth is, I stayed out of that. Lee didn't have to put her hands on her, we know that but Amour was also in the wrong. They both apologized to each other so that's irrelevant." 

"Whether she apologized or not, you just don't put your hands on someone. People is going to say shit you don't like your whole life that don't mean you go beat them up every time." 

"You're right and I-"

"Little girl I wasn't speaking to you." She cut Lee off looking at her.

"Amori." My dad said.

I felt Nobi shift and I touched her thigh. She didn't like for anyone to come for Lee and I know she was getting mad and she was going to say something but I hoped she didn't but then I knew if she didn't say anything then Sin would.

"Ma, you out of line. You say she childish but look how you acting and talking. Who are you right now? This is the love of my life and now that she's having my child, she's my family. If you can't get with that then you won't get to know my amazing girlfriend, our son or daughter and you will lose me. You won't be part of my family." 

"Sef-"

"Nah, I'm over it. I'm over all of it." He stood up then helped Lee get up. 

"Thank y'all for having me as a guest, everything was good." Lee sadly smiled as Sef walked out.

"I can't believe you." Zariah scrunched her face up looking at ma.

"That's the reason I came so yeah, we out." I said grabbing Nobi hand as her and Sin didn't spare anybody a glance walking out. 

I walked out behind them waiting for Roddy and Jace then walked out. I saw Sin and Nobi walking back and forth making me shake my head, this was their way of calming down. 

"I'm okay." Lee said trying to reassure them.

"Okay but she was out of line, I liked her until right now." Nobi said. 

"Just because she don't like me doesn't mean y'all have to stop liking her." 

"No bitch, that's exactly what it mean!" Sin said looking at her. "She lucky she wasn't anybody else or I would of popped her."

"I wanna go home." Lee sighed shaking her head.

I walked to the car not waiting for them, a nigga was full and tired. I knew I wasn't going to go to sleep cause most likely Nobi horny ass gon want to have hours of sex but then again she mad so she might not. Who I'm kidding? This girl always want sex no matter.

"Lemme know now if you gon want dick when we get in the house." I told her.

"Yeah." She nodded making me roll my eyes.

"Fucking lil ceasers." Jace said making me laugh. "Girl always want sex."

"Don't I know it." I shook my head.

I poured the bottle of water all on my face taking off my shirt as everybody cheered. I was playing basketball outside with these niggas, I gotta start working out more cause a nigga body was tired. I dabbed up some people passing me as I walked towards Nobi while she glared at me.

"What?" I asked drinking my powerade. 

"One, your dickprint showing. I had to check multiple of these bitches."

"You can't even see nothing." I looked down. 

"Yes you can, you want me to kick you in your shit to tell you where exactly it start and end?" 

"You so violent baby." I grabbed her kissing her as she squirmed.

"Ew no you wet. Second of all, put you shirt on."

"Mitch, nice game. You one of the best-"

"Bitch, congratulate him then walk away." Nobi cut the girl off making her stop smiling and walk away. 

"So damn unnecessary." 

"That's not unnecessary cause these bitches be bold, I'll punch one of them in their neck." 

"Here Mitch, you look good- I mean hot." A girl said passing me a water but Nobi smacked it out her hand.

"I'll beat you up." She looked at the girl. 

"Girl, I was just giving him a water."

"And bitch, I was just gon slide you."

"You talking too much." 

"You right." Nobi dropped her bag but I grabbed her by her waist laughing pulling her into me. 

"You could walk away now." I told shawty since she was still standing there. 

"Imma just assume Nobi was bouta pop her so that's why you on her." Sin said then looked at the girl. "Bitch, I'll deck you." She said getting in the girl face making me confused, fuck she come from? 

"Chill out baby girl." Jace put his arm around her shoulder as the girl walked away.

"Uh uh get ya sweaty ass off me." 

"We gotta get out this park for Nobi pop somebody." I laughed seeing she was still looking. 

"They terrible." Jace laughed as Sef and Lee walked towards us with snacks in their hand. 

"Can we go get food?" Sin asked.

"Word." Lee agreed eating candy.

"Let's go to that new diner." Sef offered making us agree.

I nodded grabbing Nobi hand walking to the car as Jace and Sef followed. We all came from the same place and went to the same place so we thought it was smarter to ride together. Since Sef knew where to go, I let him drive. The ride to the diner wasn't that long, the thing I liked about this diner was that you had to order inside but they bring you your food after you pay. Nobi, Lee and Sin stood by the car playing and shit while we went inside to order. 

"Aye fam, lemme get a bacon cheeseburger with a sprite and a chicken and steak with fries on the side and a pink lemonade." I ordered then paying for both as I waited for Sef to order.

"Nigga order her food." Jace smacked his teeth as Sef held up the line. 

"Y'all could go before me." He told some girls. "Lee is picky as fuck, if something stink she not gon eat it. If it look nasty, she not gon eat it. I gotta be careful on what I order." 

"So why don't you just ask her what she want?" I looked at him like he was stupid.

"Because she'll change her mind as soon as I get it." 

"I don't wanna get Nobi pregnant no more." I shook my head.

"Oh nah, this pregnancy the best thing that ever happened between us." He smiled. "She be so damn happy, I love it bro. The only time she upset is when she hungry or horny." 

"Now that you mention it, I haven't seen Lee mad in a while." Jace said making me think. 

"I love it yo, we don't argue anymore or nothing. I be doing shit on purpose to see if she gon curse me out and she be talking to me calmly and shit. Imma keep getting her pregnant, back to back." 

"I want Nobi to get pregnant so bad." I shook my head.

"I think Nobi will be a angry pregnant person." Jace said making Sef laugh.

"She gon be fucking Mitch up, making his life a living hell." Sef laughed.

"Imma just keep fucking her, duh." I told them.

Before we could finish our conversation, we heard yelling and a bunch of people crowding. I looked at them as they looked back at me. I then noticed the crowd was surrounding my car and where we left Nobi and them. Fuck the food I pushed hella people going in the middle of crowd. 

It was a bunch of fights, I looked for Nobi and saw her fighting two females while Sin was next to her fighting, even Lee was fighting. Nobi dropped one of the girls she was fighting then tripped over her making her fall on the girl still swinging though. Sin was sitting on some girl back while giving her face shots and Lee had a girl by her hair swinging with the other hand. 

"What the fuck happened that fast?" I asked, confused. "Who the fuck are they even fighting?"

Lee fell on her stomach and Sef rushed over and punched the girl she was fighting pushing her, some boy came out of no where and snuck him making me run over there and put his ass to sleep. More niggas ran up, we was outnumbered as fuck making me laugh. Three girls was now fighting Nobi, two on Sim and two was trying to get to Lee but Sef kept pushing them.

"Man get off my girl and sis, you bugging." Jace said hitting bitches until Sin and Nobi was fighting one on one. 

"Jace!" I yelled since a nigga was bout to sneak him. 

He turned around just in time as he ducked then started fighting the boy, I was standing there watching making sure Sef and Lee was good. She was holding her stomach while he was still pushing bitches back. I got mad and punched both of them bitches making them lay flat out.

Niggas started running towards me and I got ready to fight, the first nigga ran to me tried to grab my shirt but I decked him in his temple and watched him fall then moved on to the net nigga. Nobi jumped in the fight and another nigga hit her making Sef hit him. It had to be at least 15 niggas, we was outnumbered but we wasn't going down without a fight. 

I saw Izzy and a few of his friends run up and start helping, I nodded my head. Izzy walked towards Nobi who back to fighting a girl but he knocked her out for her then some nigga. My dumb ass got snuck making me fall, I looked up at the nigga trying to remember where I know his face from. 

It was the nigga from the block party, he looked down at me smirking. He dug in his waistline grabbing his gun but Izzy ran over punching him in his temple making him fall as I stood up punching his ass. I saw blood but still wasn't stopping until he was dead. I heard gunshots then cop sirens, I looked up seeing everybody running but I looked for my family. 

"Come on Zeph!!" Nobi said grabbing me as Sef and them was in the car already. 

I got up following her but not before looking back at the nigga, Izzy nodded at us then ran to the car he came in. I shook my head laying my head on the window but sat back up hearing Sef yell.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" He yelled at Lee. "Are you fucking stupid?!"

"Your mad because I wasn't watching my sisters get jumped? Okay." She scoffed.

"You did not have to jump in the fight Cailee, you are fucking pregnant! Are you fucking retarded? You fell on your stomach Cailee! Do you know what that could mean?!" 

"Yes, I do."

"And you saying it like you don't care about the outcome! I was just defending you to my mother, I was speaking from the damn heart just for you to prove her words right! You don't fucking do shit like this Cailee!" 

"Sincere and Aanvi are my sisters! These are two people who took charges for me, took the blame for me, will kill for me! In no way, shape or form was I going to watch them get jumped and outnumbered! You can be mad all you want, these are my fucking sisters!" 

"I wasn't far away! All you had to do was come get us or yell! You did not have to fucking jump in, you don't think outside the box with your mentally challenged ass! Your stomach hurt right? You know why? Cause you fucking stupid!" 

"Sef relax." I told him seeing veins was popping out his head and he was swerving. 

"As I said, be mad all you want. I take responsibility 100 percent but if it happened all over again tomorrow, I'm still jumping in because I know they would do the same. You right, I had enough time to go get y'all but if anybody saw six or seven girls jumping their sisters or the only females they be around, they would have done the same."

"Lee quit talking to me."

"Don't make me no never mind." She shrugged rubbing her stomach as he pulled into the parking lot of the hospital as we all go out. 

He tried to touch her but she moved from by him and walked into the hospital going to the receptionist desk. The older lady looked up as she was on the phone scheduling an appointment, she told us to hold on a second.

"How may I help you beauties?" She asked smiling. 

"My girlfriend is four months pregnant and she was just fighting. She's having stomach pains from falling on it." 

"Fill this out please, by time you fill it out. A doctor should be coming out to check on her, I pray everything is well." She shook her head handing Sef a number then a clipboard. 

We sat down in the waiting room as Sef looked at the paperwork, Lee tried to get it from him but he just snatched it back filling it out his self as she rolled her eyes. I hope they wasn't going to keep beefing and I hoped nothing happened to my niece or nephew. 

"So what the fuck happened?" Jace asked making me look at Nobi and Sin. 

"We was waiting for y'all laughing and shit, I pushed Lee and she bumped into one of the girls but she apologized. The girl started showing out for her friends and Lee told her she wasn't finna entertain her. Then one of the boys, the girls was with, grabbed Lee tryna talk to her and you already know Lee wasn't going for that." Sin said.

"I told him to let my sister go and he did but one of the girls started talking bout we acting like we too good for her brother. We ignored them because I really wanted my food but shawty put her hands on Lee so I punched her. We started fighting, the nigga hit me which made Sin hit him then they just started jumping us." Nobi finished.

"It was the same niggas and bitches from the block party." I told them. 

"I knew they looked familiar." Sin snapped shaking her head.

"It wasn't beef before but now it is." I told Jace pulling out my phone. 

The nurse came in as Sef and Lee followed them we sat there for almost an hour until they came back, Lee was neutral as Sef was still mad. We stood up waiting for one of them to say anything as my heart was pounding against my chest.

"Heartbeat strong, she still moving and active, my baby girl okay." Lee smiled.

"Baby girl? We having a girl?" Sin squealed.

"Yes." Lee nodded.

"I always wanted a daughter first." Nobi smiled.

I smiled then told them I was hungry, we went to Chick-Fil-A getting something quick then going in the house. We all sat in the living room having fun, laughing and talking about the fight. Shit is never a boring day with us, all I knew niggas was dying soon. 

"Aye Jace, tell Izzy good looking." I told him eating my waffle fries.

"Why?" Nobi asked.

"One of them niggas pulled a gun out on me and before he could fully pull it out, Izzy knocked his ass out."

"When ya side nigga and main nigga finally getting along." Sin said making us laugh.

I looked at Jace as he looked back at me. Niggas wasn't made for this street life but they wanted to be in it so bad. I put myself in a predicament where it could of ended badly but it didn't due to somebody else hands. I tried so hard to change but niggas don't want that, they want me to be a menace and now they got they wish. 

Mitch was back and now lives was going to be in my hands.
