Lestat X Violet (part 2)

(This was requested by a reader) enjoy!

Violet finally stood up, her wounds fully healed after a few weeks. She could not believe they had taken that long to heal, and she had been burned by one of the most powerful vampires to exist. Violet was determined to find Lestat, to speak with him once more, and to settle things. She did not want to be enemies with Lestat, but an ally to him, knowing herself she preferred order amongst her people over violence. But what the crusaders had done to her village as a child would not be so easily forgiven. "Where do I find you?" she muttered to herself. she heard a group of mortals approaching, she hid herself from them, watching them walk by, she caught sight of them entering a strange place around the corner. She had seen one of them knock at the door three times and then heard them whisper some strange words before entering. It left her curious as to what the place was, she got a closer look at it. "What is this place?" she wondered. She decided to go inside, she knocked three times and the door opened. Another vampire had opened the door, she spoke the secret words as best she could. trying to pronounce them as the others had done. The vampire nodded and let her in, a sigh of relief was felt as she walked in. She did not know what those words meant but that didn't matter to her at the moment.

"It's a club of some sort." she muttered. the bar was full of other vampires, far more powerful than she was. They were all dancing with one another, drinking, and some making out in booths. Some of them were making out and feeding off another. Violet had never seen anything like this before, it made her slightly uncomfortable. she was about to take a seat when a vampire caught her. "First time?" he asked. Violet nodded. "Yes, I didn't know there were bars for our own kind. It surprises me." she said. The vampire took in her scent. "I have never seen a vampire of your breed before, you seem different." he said. "I am not a part of this bloodline unfortunately, I am a part of another. I still don't understand it enough." the vampire grinned. "Well, maybe I can show you." he said going for her neck. But he was suddenly stopped by another vampire that had grabbed him by the wrist. "Leave her alone Adrian." the voice sounded strangely familiar to violet, it did not take her long to realize it was Lestat. the vampire sensed his presence and shied away from Lestat. "My apologies your highness." he said backing away, and then leaving to join the others. "Your highness?" questioned violet. "It is a long story violet, one for another time... now I assume you wish to speak with me. come sit with me." he led violet to one of the tables. both taking a seat. "Why do they call you your highness? are you their prince or something?" lestat smirked. "yes." he said. Violet was surprised by this. "Like I had said before, it is a long story, and something I cannot tell without going on forever." violet nodded to show she understood. "Now tell me, what brings Violet Mazurski to the admirals arms?" he asked. violet raised an eyebrow "So that is what you call this bar." she said. Lestat nodded. "And you could go on about it." she added. "I assume that is not what you came to tell me." he said.

"Alright fine, it's not. I came here to reason with you, to apologize for my behavior, it was wrong of me to do such an act, I was such so frustrated with my past, those wicked crusaders taking my village when I was but a mortal child." she explained. "And I blamed it on a man who did not exist yet, a man whos ancestors had done it and not the man himself. but what I mean to say is I am sorry." said violet. Lestat could sense the pain she felt, knowing it meant something to her and that she was truly sorry for the act. "I forgive you Violet, believe me I had made the same mistake long ago, but I would rather not speak of it." he said. They spoke for sometime, getting to know one another, violet seemed to enjoy Lestat's company despite being the brat prince he was. there conversation was cut short when a vampire whispered something important in Lestat's ear. which made his eyes widen a bit. "I must go now Violet, I hate to cut our discussion short. forgive me, being a leader is not the easiest of tasks." he said. "I understand Lestat, do what you must, and might I say it is a pleasure to meet you. Perhaps you can tell me more about your bloodline someday." she said. "And you as well miss violet. perhaps I might one evening." he said. He kissed her hand and with that he was gone. Violet was still surprised at how fast he disappeared. "How in the hell does he do that so quickly?" she muttered.

Violet shrugged it off and stayed at the bar for a drink and to watch the stage band perform, which felt good to her, and the music was not bad.
